The weather in Kunming has been fantastic lately, and the hotel is right by Cuihu Lake, which makes for a lovely stroll. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic and helpful, giving us tips on nearby attractions. They even gave us some delicious snowflake shortbread! Zoey at checkout was wonderful and gave us a small gift, which I really appreciated. Oh, and the tea in the lobby is excellent.

Centrally located, the hotel offers great convenience for getting around. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive – I was very satisfied with their service. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide and plentiful selection; I was really happy with it. They even offered Kunming's local flower cakes among the desserts, which were delicious. The hotel has a swimming pool which I enjoyed using daily. It would be absolutely perfect if they also had a steam room or sauna. There's also a gym, but I didn't get a chance to use it. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

Every time I visit Kunming, I stay at the Grand Park Hotel, but I always forget to leave a good review. This time, I made sure to set a reminder! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive, anticipating our needs with many thoughtful details. The room arrangement was very comfortable, and all the facilities clearly looked newly renovated, making them easy to use, clean, and modern. Before we left, we even received handmade flower cakes from the hotel, which were sweet but not cloying – a truly heartwarming touch. What moved me even more was the airport transfer service they arranged for us; the driver was punctual and had a great attitude, making the whole journey stress-free. Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

For my trip to Kunming, I specifically chose the Crowne Plaza Kunming City Centre, and my stay truly exceeded expectations – I have to give it a big shout-out! **Excellent Location, Super Convenient for Getting Around** The hotel is rooted in the heart of Kunming's city center. Whether you want to shop at Kunming's established commercial districts or visit famous attractions like Green Lake Park and Jinma Biji Archway, everything is close by. Many popular spots are even within walking distance. If you need public transport, nearby subway and bus stops are not far, and taxis are readily available. It's incredibly time-saving and hassle-free, whether you're on a tight schedule or a leisurely holiday. **Comfortable Living Environment, Reassuring Stay Experience** The first impression when I opened the room door was how fresh and clean it was. The entire room felt spacious, and every corner and detail was meticulously maintained, with absolutely no strange odors. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent, making for exceptionally quiet nights. I've slept incredibly soundly these past few days – truly a good night's sleep every time. The bathroom facilities were clean and complete, and the amenities felt high-quality. Overall, the living experience was very reassuring. **Attentive Butler Service, Felt Right at Home** I must especially commend Jenny, Nova, and Ella from the front office team! From check-in, they provided attentive, full-process follow-up. During my stay, they proactively inquired about my needs and experience. Whether I needed extra amenities or advice on local sightseeing, they quickly provided thoughtful responses and assistance. Their meticulous and considerate service genuinely felt incredibly warm, giving me a completely relaxed, 'at home' feeling. In summary, this stay was a perfect 10/10. I couldn't find a single fault, whether it was the convenience of travel, the comfort of the living environment, or the quality of service. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Kunming, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!

Stayed two nights at this Wanda hotel in Kunming and had a pleasant overall experience. Convenient location: roughly a 10-minute taxi ride from Kunming Railway Station. Adjacent to Wanda Shopping Mall with full dining, shopping and daily amenities; a newly opened large supermarket nearby with abundant goods, which we visited twice. Booking messages via the travel platform were initially replied to slowly, yet issues got resolved promptly after contacting the front office manager. The subsequent service was excellent. The hotel helped receive our parcels shipped via Taobao, letting us collect items before departing for Singapore. Staff at the executive lounge were warm and informative, with decent complimentary drinks and snacks available. Rooms are well-equipped, featuring a wet-dry separated bathroom and walk-in closet. Comfortable bedding plus a choice of pillow types further boosted our stay. Would recommend.

My partner and I came to Yunnan for our honeymoon during the off-peak season. The front desk lady added me on WeChat beforehand to ask about our preferences and any special requirements. The concierge even thoughtfully sent us directions to the hotel. I have to say, Kunming really has so much delicious food! It's our first time here, and it feels like we could spend several days just exploring this area. **Facilities:** The overall furnishings are quite tasteful. Although the decor and history of this place feel quite dated, you can tell a lot of effort went into it. All the furniture is made of rosewood, and it's clear that the design of the pavilions, terraces, and soft furnishings perfectly aligns with Chinese aesthetics. It's truly beautiful, as if every scene was specifically designed by a professional. There's a really, really large executive lounge that's perfect for photos – it feels more like an upscale business club. It's also great for families and friends! Every single staff member's service was truly exceptional. They enthusiastically greeted us every time they saw us 😄 It was a very, very satisfying experience!

The room was spacious with a window, and being on the 14th floor, the view was fantastic. You needed to use your card to operate the elevator, which made me feel very secure. Right opposite the hotel is Cuihu Park, which is free to enter, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The hotel is located in the city center. To the right of the hotel is Huangdong Street, a vibrant area, especially when the jacaranda trees are in bloom, with many small cafes for visitors to relax in. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with high-quality offerings. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was also excellent; the dishes tasted great, the prices were reasonable, offering great value for money. I had all three meals at the hotel every day, which was clean and hygienic, with beautiful views of Cuihu Park from the window! This hotel is quite popular, and rooms book up quickly. I booked a week in advance and couldn't even extend my stay for an extra night. If you get a city view room, you can catch the sunrise. The most sought-after rooms are the lake view ones, which overlook Cuihu Park and offer stunning sunset views. If you want one, make sure to book well in advance! This hotel definitely deserves a 100/100 score!

Kunming Wild Animal Park/The Golden Temple scenic spot Kunming|8.44km from city center
The room environment was decent, and the welcome fruit was a nice touch. I booked a suite since I was traveling with elderly family and a child, and it was quite spacious. However, the facilities are indeed showing their age. The air conditioning isn't on 24/7; it would turn on and off during the day. The bedroom without a window in the suite felt stuffy. The mini-fridge was right by the head of the bed, and since I had medication that needed refrigeration, I couldn't turn it off, leading to a loud humming noise all night. The staff were prompt and patient in addressing my concerns and explaining the situation, but they couldn't resolve the facility issues. Honestly, the breakfast really didn't justify the price. Not only was the variety limited, but the freshness was visibly unappetizing. The restaurant itself was old and dimly lit. I only had some porridge; the buns weren't fresh, and the fried items seemed reheated repeatedly. It felt like the food preparation was very perfunctory and didn't live up to the brand or price point. I had originally booked for two nights but checked out after one, having to find another hotel on short notice. This also affected my car rental plans, which were set for pick-up and drop-off at the hotel. Overall, it was a pretty negative experience. However, I must commend Trip.com's service; they were excellent in helping me communicate and get a refund for the second night, maintaining a superb attitude throughout. This is why I always feel confident booking my travel with Trip.com.

I ordered takeout, but the hotel doesn't allow the deliveryman to deliver to the room because it was inconvenient for me, so I asked the front desk for help, and it was delivered to the room very quickly. When I asked the reason, the front desk guy told me that it was for the safety of the guests that the deliveryman was not allowed to go upstairs. The hotel has trained guests that if they need takeout to the room, they can help deliver it. The overall feeling of the hotel is good, and the service attitude is very good. When I checked in, I asked about the surrounding attractions and routes, and they explained it very patiently. The room internet connection was very fast, and I asked the waiter, who told me that each room has an independent dedicated line. There were both indoor and outdoor pools, and the hot spring water was drawn from underground. The whole hotel was a recreational attraction. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel before catching a morning flight. We found it very good value for money. The room was spacious and the hotel was very quiet. The beds are quite hard but we didn't mind that. The hotel is about 25-min walk from the airport and seems to have a shuttle to take clients to the airport but they didn't tell us about this when we checked-in so we had to take a taxi when we could have planned better our schedule to make it to the shuttle. Ask about this when you check-in! I would recommend against getting the breakfast. It didn't have many good options and most dishes were very oily. They have a noodle station that we didn't try, so if you like this kind of breakfast, maybe it's worth it for you. This is an older five-star hotel, very close to the subway station. The breakfast is abundant, and the swimming pool is also quite good. The only drawback is the inconsistency in the front desk staff's service quality. Incident 1: We arrived a day early for our conference booking, which was for room 480. We had booked online for 538, but 538 is in the annex building, while 480 is in the main building. There were available rooms in the main building that day. I asked if we could be upgraded to the main building, but the front desk said no, unless we paid an extra 100+ yuan. I was willing to pay, but then I asked if they could provide meal or laundry vouchers, which they also refused, only offering accommodation receipts. So, I had to give up and switch rooms, which was quite inconvenient. Incident 2: I called the front desk to ask for the room's Wi-Fi password. The first time, they gave me the wrong one, including the 0871 area code, and it didn't work after several attempts. I had to call a second time and speak to another person to get the correct password. Incident 3: When we were changing rooms, my colleague showed the front desk a screenshot of the QR code payment for the conference rate (room 480). However, the front desk, and even the manager, couldn't find the payment in their system. We had to pay for the room again to check in. When I returned later and showed the payment screenshot to another front desk staff member, they found it in a minute and processed the refund successfully. I really wonder what the previous front desk staff and manager were doing? So, the front desk's service quality is indeed very inconsistent, and their policy regarding room upgrades is too rigid. It really detracts from the overall experience.

The service was excellent; we were greeted warmly upon arrival. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast spread was generous. The facilities are well-maintained, and there are many fruit and dining options nearby. Plus, there's a subway station just 500 meters away, making getting around very convenient.

I chose to stay at the GreenTree Eastern Hotel for this trip, and my overall experience was incredibly pleasant and satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, making travel very convenient. What truly impressed me was the soundproofing in the rooms; despite being in a bustling area, it was exceptionally quiet. Noise from the hallway and outside traffic was completely blocked out, allowing even light sleepers to rest peacefully, free from any disturbance. The hotel amenities are very thoughtful – there's a spacious and well-organized parking lot with plenty of free spaces, which is incredibly convenient. The self-service breakfast is outstanding, with a wide variety of dishes, a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, hot entrees, staple foods, noodles, congee, fresh fruits, vegetables, and various beverages, all made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The guest rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortably decorated. The staff are friendly, polite, and provide attentive and thorough service, making check-in and check-out quick and efficient. Overall, it offers superb value for money. Its excellent soundproofing, high-quality breakfast, and convenient parking perfectly meet all needs, making it a fantastic choice for accommodation. I genuinely recommend it.

The hotel is located in 1903, which is very convenient for travel and shopping. The breakfast ingredients are fresh and taste great. The room has good lighting and is very comfortable. There is a self-service laundry room on the second floor, as well as a gym. The service of the front desk and the cleaning lady is also great. It will definitely be the first choice when I come to Kunming next time.

My most delightful discovery during my trip to Kunming was definitely the Zhenshi Wolun Boutique Hotel. Tucked away in the city center, stepping inside immediately transports you from the hustle and bustle into a serene haven. The Yunnan-style courtyard design exudes the elegance of a Jiangnan garden, with a flowing stream and koi fish in the central courtyard, and swaying bamboo shadows. Even the air carries the fresh scent of plants. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and watching the sunset from the veranda in the evening, my breathing just slowed down. The details in the room truly touched my heart – soft bedding paired with ethnic embroidered bed runners, and warm yellow lighting reflecting off the wooden floors created an incredible ambiance. The bathroom was clean and fresh, the toiletries had a subtle fragrance, and even the dried flower decorations by the window showed thoughtful touches. Every detail spoke of meticulous care. My favorite parts were the hotel's public spaces, especially the Chinese tea house on the second floor and the sky garden on the third floor – every corner was picture-perfect. The front desk service was incredibly attentive too; they enthusiastically recommended local delicacies and sightseeing routes, making me feel very welcome. Located in the heart of the city yet away from the noise, Zhenshi Wolun, with its courtyard, truly encapsulates Kunming's gentleness and poetic charm. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kunming!

The owner upgraded me to a loft king room. The room was very rustic and had a unique Yunnan charm. Breakfast included rice noodles, soy milk, and various grains. The owner even came downstairs to pick me up. The location is about 790 meters from the old town, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The conditioner was also really good!

Ending my trip to Kunming, the one place I'm most excited to share is this amazing stay. The location is absolutely superb, and the experience was truly exceptional. The geographical position is fantastic; it's so convenient whether you want to visit Cuihu Park or the old town. It's a three-story standalone building with a great design, a very trendy industrial-chic vibe, and the courtyard is full of lush greenery, making it quiet and elegant. Every photo I took in the room looked incredible! You can relax with a bath or enjoy a movie in the evening. I really appreciate the dry/wet separation in the bathroom, and the bedding was super clean and comfortable—I slept soundly until morning. The staff were genuinely wonderful and attentive, offering a butler-style service. They'd confirm breakfast times in advance, and you could choose between rice noodles or Western-style simple meals. If you didn't feel like going downstairs, they'd even deliver it to your room. In the evening, if you wanted to unwind, you could order some drinks and BBQ. My trip to Kunming was truly chill!

The location of the hotel can also be near Vientiane City. The hotel is on the side of the road and is easier to find. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel is large. This hotel has several floors and dozens of rooms. The sound insulation is too poor. There is also a wooden board and mirror of a cabinet in the next room. The sound of boiling water in the next room was very clear, the sound of opening the cabinet door in the next room was also very clear, and the sound of talking in the next room was also very clear. The sound of bathing upstairs and next door was also very clear, the sound of rushing water. The voice in the corridor was also heard very clearly, the sound of walking in the corridor, the sound of pulling the suitcase, and it was also heard very clearly. On the evening of the New Year's Eve, I called the front desk several times and no one answered. On the second day, I asked the front desk person, and the front desk person said that it was a holiday. No one cleaned on the first day of the New Year, the front desk had to change my room, and I didn't change it. I have stayed in so many hotels. The first time I encountered such a situation, there was no one at the front desk on the 30th night of the New Year. There was no staff in the hotel and no security. There was no cleaning staff on the first day of the New Year. This is not a small hotel, it is also a relatively large hotel, how can this situation occur? I stayed at this hotel for more than ten days and didn't see who the manager of the hotel was from the beginning to the end. In addition to a staff member at the front desk, it was the cleaning person.
