It was a bit pricey at just over 4,000 yen at the exchange rate on the day I went, but it's definitely worth it. The night view is simply breathtaking. I went early and stayed for about an hour, from sunset until dark. I reserved my ticket on trip.com, and instead of being issued at the counter, I picked up my ticket from the staff in front of the shop in front of the entrance. I'm not sure if this is always the case, so please check the email you receive when you make your reservation. There are also a few simple events to attend after entering and before getting on the elevator. The elevator is super fast, about 5 or 10 minutes, and you'll arrive at the observation deck in about a minute.

Although it's far from downtown Shenzhen, this Chinese aquarium is on a completely different scale than the ones in Japan. The interior is spacious and you can relax there. The aquarium's shows are also highly recommended as they are packed with entertainment that can be enjoyed even if you don't understand Chinese.

I absolutely loved this experience! If you dont have a full day, just come in the late afternoon and enjoy the shows and villages in Folk Village. Splendid China is definitely interesting, but its important to remember that its just a miniature park. In the other part you can taste delicious food, watch some games and feel like youre visiting all regions of China at once!
