Pop Land is located at 88 Beiyunhe West Road in Beijing's Tongzhou District, about 40 minutes from the city center. Here's how to reach there:

By Metro (Recommended)

The easiest way is taking Line 6 to Beiyunhe West Station (北运河西站). Once you exit from Exit C, you'll see clear Pop Land signage. It's just a 5-minute walk following the covered walkway - you can't miss the giant Pop Mart characters greeting you along the way!

By Bus

Several bus routes stop near Pop Land, including routes 445, 445 Express, 536, and 596. Get off at Beiyunhe West Station (北运河西站) stop. The park entrance is visible from the bus stop, and you'll just need to follow the signs for a short walk.

By Car or Taxi

If you're taking a taxi or ride-hailing service like DiDi, show your driver this address: 北京市通州区北运河西路88号 (88 Beiyunhe West Road, Tongzhou District). The park offers spacious free parking if you're driving yourself. Just follow the signs for "Pop Land Parking" once you arrive.

Pro Travel Tips:

During rush hours (8-10 AM and 5-7 PM), the metro is your best bet to avoid Beijing's notorious traffic.

If you're coming from downtown Beijing, budget around 40-50 minutes for the journey. The park is well-connected to major highways, but weekend traffic can be heavy, so plan accordingly!

What to See and Do at Pop Land Beijing

As someone who's been collecting Pop Mart since the first MOLLY series, I couldn't wait to share my experience at Pop Land!

POP Street

The entrance area is mind-blowing for any Pop Mart fan! Remember that giant MOLLY from the 2020 Christmas series? Well, imagine her towering over you in real life! The exclusive shop here is dangerous for your wallet (speaking from experience) - they've got park-specific releases and some rare items I haven't even seen at the flagship stores. My latest haul included the Pop Land exclusive DIMOO 'Adventure' series - totally worth it!

LABUBU Adventure Forest

If you love LABUBU like I do, you'll flip out over this area! They've brought every LABUBU series to life - from the original forest theme to the latest releases. The fishing village section is basically a life-sized version of the 'Ocean Vacation' blind box series, and it's even more adorable in person! The playground area is surprisingly fun even for adults (yes, I tested everything "for research purposes").

MOLLY's Castle

This is where I spend most of my time! The first floor has this amazing exhibition showing Pop Mart's journey - from their first blind box to becoming a global phenomenon. It's pretty special seeing the original MOLLY designs up close. The themed cafes on the upper floors are perfect for a break, and they've got these exclusive blind boxes that are only sold here. Quick tip: they limit two boxes per person, so choose wisely!

DIMOO Yacht Restaurant

After hunting for photo spots and exclusive merch, this is my favorite place to recharge. The DIMOO-themed menu is actually really good (try the cloud cake - it's inspired by the 'Sweet Dreams' series), and the lake view is beautiful. Plus, they often showcase upcoming DIMOO releases here first!

Between the character meet-and-greets (the SPACE MOLLY one is my favorite!), the stamp collecting game, and all the amazing photo spots, you'll need at least a full day here.

DIMOO Yacht Restaurant

My absolute favorite spot! The lakeside views are gorgeous, and their DIMOO-themed menu is adorable. You've got to try their cloud-shaped cotton candy drink (perfect for Instagram!) and the rainbow DIMOO burger. Their signature dessert, the DIMOO Fantasy Cake, is not only super cute but tastes amazing - it's this fluffy strawberry mousse that I can't resist ordering every visit.

MOLLY's Castle Café

Located on the second floor of MOLLY's Castle, this café nails the aesthetic AND the taste. Their MOLLY pink latte is my go-to drink (comes with the cutest latte art!), and don't miss the character-shaped macarons. The seasonal menu changes with new Pop Mart releases - right now they've got special items featuring the latest MOLLY collection.

Quick Bites & Snacks

  • The LABUBU Forest food carts have these amazing bubble waffles shaped like characters
  • Pop Street's food stands offer quick bites like themed ice cream and cute character-shaped steamed buns
  • The SKULLPANDA zone has some surprisingly good savory options - their black truffle fries are addictive!

Pro tip: Food prices are actually pretty reasonable for a theme park, and portions are good. Most main dishes range from 40-80 RMB, and desserts around 30-50 RMB. I usually grab lunch at the DIMOO restaurant and snack throughout the day at different spots!

My Seasonal Take

I'd say spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are perfect for Pop Land - the weather's just right and you can enjoy both indoor and outdoor areas.

Summer gets pretty hot in Beijing, but hey, there's plenty of AC inside! Winter's actually good too if you don't mind bundling up, plus you'll find way smaller crowds.

Best Time of the Day/Week

Here's my pro tip: get there right when it opens at 10 AM. I've been multiple times, and those first two hours are golden - way fewer people and shorter lines.

If you're like me and hate crowds, aim for Tuesday or Wednesday mornings. Weekends get packed, especially between 2-5 PM.

Holiday Heads Up

Just a heads up - Chinese holidays like National Day (October) and Summer Break (July-August) get super busy.

But if you're into special events and exclusive merch drops, these times can be worth braving the crowds. I especially love their Chinese New Year celebrations, though it's definitely peak season.

Amazing Places to Visit in Beijing After Pop Land!

While you're in Beijing, there's so much more to explore.

Amazing Places to Visit in Beijing After Pop Land!

The Forbidden City (Palace Museum)

You can't come to Beijing without seeing this! It's this incredible imperial palace that'll blow your mind - seriously, it's HUGE. Opens 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (heads up: closed Mondays). Here's a tip I learned the hard way: book tickets online and go early morning. The crowds get crazy after 10 AM, and trust me, you want time to explore those hidden courtyards and peek into all the royal rooms. The stories behind each building are fascinating - like the Emperor's private quarters and where all the drama went down!

Amazing Places to Visit in Beijing After Pop Land!

Universal Beijing Resort

This is actually super close to Pop Land! It's open 10 AM to 10 PM daily, and it's the newest Universal park in the world. The Harry Potter area is absolutely magical at night (butterbeer, anyone?), and they've got this amazing Kung Fu Panda land that you won't find at any other Universal park. The Transformers ride here is next level too!

Amazing Places to Visit in Beijing After Pop Land!

Badaling Great Wall

This section of the Wall is perfect if you're short on time. Opens early (around 6:30/7:30 AM depending on season) and honestly, morning visits are the best - fewer people and great lighting for photos. I usually take the cable car up (saves energy for walking the wall itself), and the views are just incredible. In autumn, the mountains are covered in red and gold leaves - totally worth timing your visit for that!
