What makes the Hong Kong Airport Express truly remarkable is its ability to maintain a human touch while achieving ultimate efficiency. Scanning the code to enter the gate takes only 0.5 seconds, yet the gate height is just right for elderly people pushing luggage; the journey arrives precisely in 24 minutes, and there are always smiling staff members guiding passengers in the carriages; it prioritizes speed without sacrificing comfort, and adheres to regulations without losing warmth. Every ride reveals that behind the city's professionalism lies a profound understanding of people. This is perhaps the most captivating aspect of Hong Kong.

I bought a roundtrip ticket for the cable car to the Big Buddha through trip.com for 2,500 rubles. The ticket on site was more expensive, about 3,700 rubles. It's definitely worth the ride. The views of the sea, bridges, and planes taking off are breathtaking (the airport is also clearly visible). And the best part is the transparent floor (if you take the crystal cabin) or the entire cabin is transparent if you take the panorama cabin.

Upon entering the room, there was a strange odor. After a patient explanation from the staff, I understood that this is a 1960s hotel, so I decided to make do. The non-seaview room offered no scenery at all from the window – just three walls as far as the eye could see. The hotel breakfast was mainly Western and Italian, with the Chinese options not being particularly extensive, and the taste was very average. However, getting to Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier was incredibly convenient, just a two-minute walk.

Excellent in every aspect, a very satisfying stay! The hotel is quietly located yet close to the city's hustle and bustle. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk staff and service personnel were all exceptionally warm and attentive, and the breakfast selection was extensive. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit and recommend it to my friends!

The hotel facilities are good, and the location is excellent for getting around. It's also very kid-friendly. The only downside was that there wasn't a small filtered water carafe in the room, and I had to go all the way down to the lobby to get water. I was in a hurry and never even found the water station in the end. Otherwise, I was generally satisfied.

While an older hotel, it's very well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and the bedding and mattress were incredibly comfortable and soft. The absolute best part is its superb location in Causeway Bay, offering excellent transport links. We arrived from Zhuhai via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, and the A11 bus takes you directly to the hotel. For our return to mainland China, there's a CTS (China Travel Service) bus ticket office right next to the hotel entrance. You can buy tickets a day in advance for easy access to Shenzhen Port, Shenzhen Airport, and various cities in Guangdong. During our stay in Hong Kong, we walked to Sogo, Hysan Place, and Times Square, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. To get to Wan Chai Pier for the Star Ferry, you can catch a 'ding ding' tram right outside the hotel, and the MTR station is also very close, making getting around incredibly convenient. Finally, a special thanks to the hotel for providing a birthday cake 🎂 and red wine for my friend, which made for a wonderful birthday celebration in Hong Kong.

Although the room was small, the facilities were excellent and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. Toothbrushes need to be purchased separately for 1 HKD. The location is superb, especially since I was there for a concert; it was super convenient and close enough to walk to. It's also a straightforward walk to Mong Kok, where you can browse, shop, and eat along the way.

The location is unbeatable, with everything you need right outside the door – super convenient. K11 is just a 10-minute walk away. To be honest, besides the great location and good service attitude, everything else was pretty mediocre. The room wasn't very clean; there were tiny flying insects and what looked like chopped green onions on the floor? Perhaps left by the previous guest.

Clean and hygienic with excellent service. The staff are all very humble and easy to talk to. Most importantly, the twin room was incredibly spacious, which is amazing value for money in Hong Kong at this price point and quality! The hotel's location is also superb and very convenient. It's a 5-minute taxi ride to the high-speed rail station, and downstairs you'll find plenty of shops and food options. It's also close to the Star Ferry Terminal, and there's Wi-Fi.

I stayed in Hong Kong for a day or two after a concert, and overall, my experience was pretty good. I booked quite early, so the room rate was a bit high, but they had a sea-view room available on the day, so they upgraded me, which was a pleasant surprise. The hotel's location is decent; although the view isn't particularly expansive, you can still catch a glimpse of the sea. The in-room amenities are complete, including an air purifier, and the room itself is relatively spacious. Some facilities show a bit of age, but overall it's very clean and doesn't detract from the stay. The front desk and housekeeping staff speak Mandarin, so communication wasn't an issue at all. Their service attitude was excellent, and they patiently answered all my questions. There was no discrimination towards mainlanders, which is a big plus. Hope they keep up the good work.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, with everything just steps away. From shopping and restaurants to the MTR, it made traveling around so effortless, especially with kids. The room was spacious and very comfortable, which is something I truly appreciate in Hong Kong. The bed was super cozy, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I also loved how practical the layout was—it made settling in feel easy and relaxed. Service-wise, the staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled quickly, which made the whole stay feel seamless. What I enjoyed most was the balance—it’s lively outside, but once you’re back in the room, it feels calm and restful. Perfect after a long day out. Overall, it’s a great choice whether you’re traveling as a couple, with family, or even for a short getaway. Comfortable, convenient, and reliable—I would definitely come back again.

Convenient for hiking the MacLehose Trail. The room is quite spacious and offers great value for money. The 7-Eleven downstairs is very handy for essentials. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus, but if you're taking the MTR, the station isn't far and is within walking distance.

Great value for money and super convenient location! It's just a 5-minute walk to Tin Hau MTR station, and there's an A11 Citybus stop nearby that takes you straight to the airport in about an hour. Whenever I come to Hong Kong, I stay here. It's still my go-to choice when I'm traveling solo. Whether I'm here for a concert or just sightseeing, it's super convenient. For solo travelers, the sense of security, excellent transport links, and overall comfort really add to its appeal. The hotel is very close to the Hong Kong Police Headquarters, and for a woman traveling alone, safety is paramount. The room size, by Hong Kong standards, isn't cramped; there's enough space, and it's consistently clean and fresh, with no strange odors. The bathroom even has a subtle scent, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff are always professional. This time, I was lucky enough to get upgraded to a suite, which made the experience even better. The soundproofing is generally good; apart from the occasional sound of a neighbor's door opening and closing, I'm rarely disturbed by other noises. The central air conditioning allows for individual temperature control, and there are USB ports by the bed – convenient little details. Most importantly, I always sleep incredibly well here, right through till morning. It's definitely a hotel I'd happily return to again and again.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by the waterfront in the Western District Corridor. We took a ferry from Kowloon to North Point Pier, and the hotel was right there as we exited. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and the area downstairs perfectly captures the vibrant, human-centric atmosphere you see in Hong Kong dramas. The hotel facilities are also good, making it a great value for money in Hong Kong, where every inch is precious. We used the hotel's coupon to try some tofu pudding and egg waffles. It's also very close to Chun Yeung Street, and you can even hop on a 'ding-ding' tram – perfect for a city walk!

The hotel is in Mong Kok, and the front desk staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and they provided disposable slippers, though no disposable toothbrushes or combs. There are lots of 'cha chaan tengs' (local tea restaurants) nearby, and a McDonald's right across the street, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. There's also a local dim sum place in the Kowloon shopping mall, and having morning tea with the locals was a great experience.

Good evening. This hotel, The Kowloon Hotel, has an excellent location. The MTR (subway) entrance is right outside, and it's just a 5-minute walk to Victoria Harbour – simply turn left after exiting the main entrance and walk straight ahead (it's about 5 minutes, not counting traffic lights). If you walk a bit further, the third bus stop is for the A21, which goes directly to the airport. To the right of The Kowloon Hotel's main entrance, there's a restaurant called Silver Dragon Restaurant, famous for its roasted goose leg. In Hong Kong, roasted meat dishes, coffee, and milk tea are almost always available for free with your meal. However, in my personal opinion, this hotel is very expensive. They wouldn't even provide two bottles of mineral water without charge, and you have to pay for toothbrushes and combs. The breakfast I had cost me HKD 148, which I paid myself. So it really depends on your personal preferences. If location is your priority, then this place is fine. Everyone needs to think clearly about what they truly want. Thank you all.

The room was spotless, and the hotel's location is perfect for sightseeing – it's super convenient to get anywhere. The shampoo and conditioner provided were excellent! I also loved that the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, unlike many hotels these days where the shower is practically on display. Mong Kok Hong Kong|0.49km from city center
Considering the price, I think Metropark Hotel Mongkok is quite good value for money. In Hong Kong, unless you're paying over a thousand per night, rooms are generally small, and they really make the most of every inch of space. This room managed to fit in a private bathroom, a dressing table, a small coffee table, and even a luggage rack. Staying for an extended period might feel a bit cramped, but it's perfectly fine for a night's sleep after a day of city walking. The shower was great with strong water pressure, and the room was generally clean. In the lobby on the ground floor, they offer complimentary lemon tea, black tea, and Nescafe milk tea – the milk tea is rich and quite good! Just a heads-up, the hotel rooms don't provide complimentary bottled water or disposable toiletries (there's a small bar of soap, shampoo, and conditioner, but no toothpaste, toothbrush, or shower cap), so remember to bring your own! Within a 1km walk, you can find several highly-rated *cha chaan tengs* (Hong Kong-style cafes) that are all pretty tasty. Prince Edward Station is only a 2-3 minute walk away, or you can walk 5-6 minutes to the pedestrian overpass near Mongkok Station, which is a fantastic spot for photos!

All quite good, but with too many small flaws. The room was surprisingly good! It was on a high floor and, despite not having windows, the soundproofing was excellent, making the room incredibly quiet. I was really pleased with how spacious the room was, especially for Hong Kong standards. After we left, housekeeping came to clean right away, and they did a great job. Downstairs, there are plenty of options for food and drinks, and the surrounding buildings also have many eateries. However, for shopping, you'd need to go elsewhere as there aren't many options nearby. Using Alipay or WeChat for the MTR (subway) was very convenient, but for the 'ding ding' trams, you'll need cash or an Octopus card. I'd definitely book this place again next time and hope they maintain their high quality.

I recently stayed in Hong Kong and had a generally pleasant experience at the hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained, but the space felt quite crowded and compact. The toilet and shower were also small, though everything was spotless and hygienic. The hotel’s location is very convenient — it’s near the subway, and transportation around the city is excellent and easy to access. I do wish they offered breakfast and complimentary bottled water in the room, as that would have made the stay more comfortable. One downside was the very loud noise from what sounded like water pipes whenever the room above used the bathroom, which could be quite disruptive. Overall, it’s a clean and well-located hotel, ideal for travelers who prioritize convenience, but with limited space and a few minor drawbacks.

Our 'standard room' (902) was advertised as a corner room, and while it wasn't exactly that, the view was still great, almost directly overlooking Kowloon Park. I also didn't experience any of the renovation noise that some other reviews mentioned. After a tiring journey, it took me a while to find the hotel entrance. It's actually not on Nathan Road, but on Kimberley Road (Miramar Tower Two), right next to Coach. The hotel is very close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit B2, and the surrounding area is excellent for exploring. I'd suggest upgrading the duvets, though. The down filling isn't fluffy anymore; it's a bit lumpy in places.

We stayed in a sea-view room on a lower floor, the 7th, but the view was still decent, especially nice at night. I found the hotel's breakfast buffet quite ordinary; there weren't many dishes that suited my taste. I'd recommend eating out or trying the Shang Palace downstairs instead. Shang Palace was truly amazing, the best meal we had during our trip to Hong Kong. It's rare to find a place where every dish and dim sum is so good. Remember to make a reservation in advance! Our room was cleaned twice daily, and we received three coffee capsules each day. We bought our own bottled water from a supermarket and refilled the dispenser, but the hotel staff kindly topped up our other water supplies every time they cleaned. At check-in, there were two lines. The other line was giving out small gifts (in a white canvas bag) to children, but we didn't receive one. My child noticed and asked about it, but I didn't press the issue. I hope they can treat all guests equally in the future. The hotel lobby bar serves 'tong sui' (sweet soup) from 6:30 PM to midnight, and it was delicious! Be aware that each disposable toiletry item in the bathroom costs 1.00. The hotel's location is excellent; there's an escalator directly from the ground floor lobby that takes you up to a footbridge leading straight to Victoria Harbour. It was lovely for morning strolls and runs.

The service is always the killer app at a super five-star hotel, and of course, to be the best in Asia, its location (scenery, convenience, and surrounding amenities) and aesthetic design far surpass its peers, playing a role in leading industry progress. During our stay, the cleaning staff also greeted us warmly; the service was truly exceptional. Overall we had a very good stay. The room was comfortable and the ocean view was beautiful. However, a few things did affect our experience. The water park was closed and the swimming pool wasn’t available for guests, which was disappointing given how hot the weather was every day. Not being able to use the pool really took away from the stay. We also found the soft play to be very expensive and not very friendly for overseas travellers. In the UK, soft play usually only charges for children, and adults are free since we don’t use the facilities. Having to pay full price for adults here didn’t feel reasonable. If these facilities and pricing policies were improved, the stay would have been close to perfect.
