On the first day of check-in, the front desk service was quite decent, and the environment and cleanliness were also good. They kindly provided complimentary sand-play tools and fruit for the kids. On the second day, housekeeping only emptied the trash cans. On the third day, while we were in the room, a staff member knocked twice and, before we even reached the door, unlocked it with their own key card, stating that the cleaning lady requested to change the bed sheets and duvet covers. They changed the sheets and duvet covers, but didn't change the pillowcases, and the floor wasn't swept. The old linens that were replaced were left behind, and the new rolls of toilet paper by the bed and in the bathroom were left unwrapped and placed on the side.
We booked a 4-day buffet breakfast. On the first day, the 1st floor was too crowded, so we went to the 4th floor; it was less crowded with fewer food options, and the taste was average, though you could order from an à la carte menu. We skipped breakfast on the second and fourth days. On the third day, we went to the 1st floor—it was extremely crowded. When we looked for a table, it hadn't been cleaned. We asked a waiter to clean it, but they rudely told us that the table was already taken (no one sat there even after we finished our meal). When we asked where we could sit, the waiter replied with a very impatient tone, saying, ”Just look and find a table yourself; if there's one, there's one, if not, there isn't.” The 1st-floor breakfast had a wide variety of food, but it was very noisy. We went down at 9:30 AM, and many items were already gone.

The service is warm and attentive; the staff were very friendly, arranged a late check-out for me, and also provided airport pick-up and drop-off. My experience at Riyuegu Hotsprings this time was fantastic and I highly recommend it. They offer a free shuttle service, making transportation very convenient. The hotel itself has a Southeast Asian design. The front desk staff were warm and attentive during check-in, and the process was efficient. They were also patient when answering my questions. The room was spotlessly clean and bright. The hot spring water quality was excellent and very clear. The hot spring park offers a wide variety of springs and comprehensive facilities. After soaking, my skin felt warm and much of my body's aches and fatigue were relieved. There are many small squirrels in the hotel's central garden, and Alaskan Malamutes in the mornings. The water in the hotel club's swimming pool was also crystal clear, and there were plenty of entertainment facilities. I tried their new wellness activity, the 'Water Sound Bowl Frequency Adjustment,' which I highly recommend. You float on a mat in the pool, close your eyes, and just feel completely relaxed. The breakfast was plentiful, and the hotel's Xiamen-style satay noodles were excellent – I personally thought they were cleaner and tastier than those outside. My first stay at Hotel Indigo Xiamen will also be my last. I will never stay here again.
1. Service: When my ride-hailing car arrived at the hotel, the doorman was standing right at the entrance. He watched me get out of the car, completely unmoved, and actually turned his head away, turning a blind eye. No greeting, no smile—let alone opening the door, guiding me, or helping with luggage. Lacking even the most basic courtesy, I have no idea how the hotel trains its staff. Standing at the door hunched over and bowing their heads timidly with terrible posture, they are a complete embarrassment to the hotel's image.
2. Cleanliness: The observation window was filthy, God knows how long it’s been since it was last cleaned. It's supposed to be a sea view, but looking through that glass completely ruined my mood.
3. Facilities: The room was very old and the facilities were extremely outdated. The cabinet doors didn't close properly, and worst of all, the TV didn't work. I checked into the room at almost midnight, and after washing up, I just wanted to lie down and watch a bit of TV before going to sleep. But the TV wouldn't turn on. I called the front desk; a staff member did come up to check, and after fiddling around for ages, it turned out the plug was unplugged and had no power. Why on earth would you unplug a TV in a ready room?! After all that fuss, I was completely wide awake. To top it all off, the karaoke downstairs was blaring loudly, keeping the party going all night. A truly sleepless night.
Summary: Avoid staying here if you possibly can. How has Hotel Indigo dropped to such a low standard?From€57

We had a wonderful stay at Langham Xiamen and were particularly impressed by the warmth and genuine hospitality of the team.
A special mention must go to Linda from Housekeeping. She was attentive, thoughtful and took great care in ensuring our room was always comfortable and beautifully maintained. It was the small details and her genuine willingness to help that made a real difference to our stay.
We would also like to recognize Jaime from the Club Lounge, who was outstanding throughout our visit. Jaime was warm, professional and attentive, and consistently made us feel very welcome. The level of personal service provided in the lounge was one of the highlights of our stay.
The hotel itself was comfortable and elegant, but ultimately it is the people who make a hotel memorable. Linda and Jaime are excellent examples of the hospitality that we associate with the Langham brand.

We stayed at Xiamen Air Golden Eagle Hotel on our last day in Xiamen. It's a well-established hotel, so it's not brand new, but the management is very professional and orderly. The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and asked if we needed butler service, late checkout, or an airport drop-off. It turns out they offer complimentary airport transfers! We used this service and it was fantastic—we reached Terminal 4 in just 17 minutes. The lobby also offers a selection of teas for guests to try. There was plenty of bottled water in the room, as well as by the elevators, and complimentary fruit was available for guests to take as needed.
I really liked the warm color scheme of the room. The front desk kindly upgraded us to the 21st floor, where we enjoyed a wide, open view and great quietness. Although it's an older hotel, it's clearly very well-maintained. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with exceptionally cozy bedding. The bathroom features a wet-and-dry separation layout and is fully stocked with toiletries. What's more, they prepared two types of slippers: regular disposable ones and rubber flip-flops, which was a fun and thoughtful touch. There's also a self-service laundry room available.
The hotel breakfast was also good, offering a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. Notably, they serve freshly ground coffee—the only hotel we stayed at in Xiamen during this trip to offer that! There was a wide selection of desserts and fruits, along with local Xiamen specialties. The noodle station is customizable, which is great. Walking around the hotel, I noticed many paintings displayed throughout, creating a strong and pleasant artistic atmosphere. Right behind the hotel is a lake, making for a very relaxing stroll. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and a top-notch hotel.From€51

The room was spacious and very clean, perfect for two people, and the bathroom had no strange odors. Plus, there's a gym, which I happily used for three days in a row, haha! The laundry room is free, and my clothes came out smelling fresh. I'll definitely stay here again next time.
The only downside is that when there are a lot of food deliveries, there are only two robots, so you have to wait in line for them to deliver. One time I waited 37 minutes… that was way too long, so after that, I just went downstairs to pick up my own food.
The hotel's location is pretty good; it takes about 10-20 minutes by taxi to get to most attractions. The MixC shopping mall is about a ten-minute walk away, it's huge, and you could easily spend half a day there.From€41

I was completely amazed by the design of Hyatt Regency Xiamen Wuyuanwan! The aesthetics of both the lobby and the rooms were on point, making every photo Instagram-worthy. The [room type] we booked offered an amazing view, and watching the sunset from the window in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The bedding and bath amenities were high-quality, with a sophisticated scent. The pool and gym environment were also excellent, not crowded and very serene. After staying here for two nights, I felt completely relaxed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
