The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside Jianye Road Station on Line 2. It's easy to catch a taxi to various attractions, and the Dongdu Passenger Terminal is about a 20-minute walk away. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and they arranged our two rooms next to each other. It's an older hotel, but the facilities are well-maintained, and the cleanliness is top-notch. Ye Meilan, who was in charge of cleaning our room, is a very enthusiastic and meticulous employee. It was my child's birthday during our stay, and she helped us decorate the room, replaced the batteries in the fairy lights, and even placed a small hand towel specifically on the bathroom sink. She also gave us some great recommendations for attractions in Xiamen. The afternoon tea and evening happy hour food at the executive lounge were both fresh and delicious. We had a minor issue on the first day, and Yao Jieyi, a young lady at the executive lounge, was very serious and responsible in communicating with us. The duty manager that day also responded and resolved it quickly. Later, the hotel's General Manager, Mr. Jin, also followed up, showing how much the hotel values even small issues and resolves them quickly and well. The hotel breakfast offers a rich variety, beyond the usual star-rated hotel options, including local Xiamen specialties like 'mianxian hu' (vermicelli paste). The breakfast hostess was also very professional and had an amazing memory; on our second visit, she remembered us and led us to the same table we had sat at the first day, saying it was 'our usual spot.' We received welcome fruit, a mini-bar, and free parking. Laundry sent in the morning was returned to our room by the afternoon, which was a great touch! 👍🏻 In short, all departments at the hotel have very enthusiastic and professional staff. I will definitely choose Pan Pacific Hotel again next time I visit Xiamen.FromNZD 95

I had a wonderful stay at Marco Polo Xiamen. The overall experience exceeded expectations, with excellent service and well-maintained facilities throughout the property.
A special highlight was the Club Lounge access. It truly elevated the stay, offering a comfortable environment, great food and beverage selections, and a more exclusive, relaxed atmosphere compared to the main areas of the hotel. It’s definitely worth opting for if you want a more premium experience.
I would also like to give special recognition to Betty, who provided exceptional service during my stay. She was attentive, warm, and genuinely went out of her way to ensure everything was taken care of. Her professionalism and friendliness made a noticeable difference and added a personal touch to the experience.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers. Looking forward to staying here again.FromNZD 101

I specifically chose this hotel because of its location. Gulangyu Island is right across the street, so you can enjoy the view and watch the sunset from your room. It's also within walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and a short taxi ride to Nanputuo Temple and the Botanical Garden, which is very convenient. The hotel breakfast was decent. This is my second stay here, and I absolutely love the new Chinese-style room. It's spacious, and the soundproofing is quite good, ensuring a great night's sleep! The front desk staff upgraded me to an executive sea-view room, and the view was fantastic!
Harlan from the lounge was incredibly helpful. I had an urgent video meeting, but my room wasn't ready yet. Harlan kindly opened the lounge for me in advance, allowing me to finish my meeting smoothly! When the room was ready, they even handed me the key card directly in the lounge and thoughtfully helped me with my luggage to the room. I'm very grateful! Great place to stay when you're in Xiamen! We specifically wanted to stay by the beach and so we choose this hotel. It was literally a 5-minute walk to a beach that is more private and less crowded than the other beaches in Xiamen. Breakfast is very good with lots of options. Location is quite good too, it was very easy to get a Didi as they come directly to the hotel. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a Didi to come. Eventhough it's by the beach, other areas such as Shapowei are just around 15-20 min taxi ride. Big malls such as MixC and SM around 25-30 mins away, not too bad. This is a genuine review from my family's stay on New Year's Day, January 1st!
**Location:** Perched halfway up the mountain, it's easily accessible by taxi, and the hotel also provides shuttle services.
**🎄 Ambiance:** Exceptionally novel and tranquil, truly a refreshing oasis in Xiamen with fantastic mountain air; it lives up to its 'Beverly Hills' reputation, radiating peace and serenity! The night lights are also stunning!
**🏘️ Room:** Guests staying in the villa area arrive by shuttle, and entry requires a password, ensuring excellent privacy. The housekeeping staff keeps everything spotlessly clean and always greets you upon entry, promptly fulfilling any requests for amenities.
**🍱 Dining:** The afternoon tea at the lounge boasts an unparalleled setting. Despite the hotel being fully booked during the holiday and having fewer staff, they always found us a spot, and our coffee requests were delivered promptly – they truly worked hard during the holiday! The auntie at the pancake station for breakfast was also very enthusiastic. All the staff have been working there for nearly ten years, which speaks volumes about the hotel's humane approach to its employees!
**😘 Special Thanks:** To the young lady with the ponytail in the blue uniform at the front desk, who provided an excellent check-in introduction; to the tall, handsome manager at the front desk with a magnetic voice, who accommodated our urgent requests; to all the staff in the lounge department, who worked incredibly hard despite being short-staffed; and to the kind gentleman with glasses who drove the shuttle to our villa, whose driving skills were exceptional and who even gave us a tour and introduction to the villa area!

Perfect score, perfect score! Manager Fiona was incredibly thoughtful and helpful. A huge thank you to her for upgrading our room and arranging a cute bunny towel that my child loved. We'll definitely be back!
This hotel is perfect for families with children! The overall service and facilities are indeed superior to the Renaissance next door. This old five-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation.
**Facilities:**
A bit older, but very well-maintained, clean, and organized. The service quality is high.
**Environment:**
There's a small gate that leads directly to the beach, which is perfect for kids to play in the sand. Although the hotel facilities are a little dated, they are well-kept. Our room had no strange odors, and they had thoughtfully prepared children's bathrobes and toiletries in advance. Thanks to Fiona and the hotel team for their professional service, which made our Xiamen trip perfect.
**Service:**
They contacted us in advance regarding our check-in time and party details, and even prepared a small gift. The room was perfectly arranged, with anti-collision strips placed on all corners. This attention to detail reflects their quality and professionalism – a truly professional team!
The entire check-in process felt just right, not overly enthusiastic. They weren't like the hotel next door, calling to ask for good reviews... While hardware is important, the 'software' (service) is equally crucial!
The only minor point was that the hallway wasn't fully carpeted, but thankfully there weren't many guests, so the soundproofing was good. Overall, the minor flaws don't detract from the excellent experience. Breakfast was average, with many dishes similar to the Renaissance, but their reception capacity was clearly better than next door, making for a much more pleasant experience.
The hotel had prepared earplugs in advance, informing us about potential noise from fireworks, but we didn't need them. Even with fireworks, the soundproofing was good and it didn't bother us much. Fiona had also asked about our sleep preferences in advance and helped arrange buckwheat pillows, so we slept wonderfully. We made some truly beautiful memories here!FromNZD 171

Bring parents and children to this hot spring homestay, and the whole family is very enthusiastic! The boss is very enthusiastic and responsive, haha 😃
The hot spring in the yard is too suitable for the whole family to soak together. The water temperature is gentle and not hot, especially the spa pool parents said that the joint pain was relieved. We were soaking and chatting, and the atmosphere was particularly warm. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft, and the elderly and children sleep very comfortably. In their spare time, parents make tea in the lobby on the first floor, and the handsome boss will accompany them throughout the whole process. Xiamen Railway Station Area Xiamen|3.17km from city center
I'm writing an objective and honest review, no exaggerations. The hotel's location is excellent; although it's about 8 kilometers from the pedestrian street and pier, it's connected to the Panji shopping mall, making dining, entertainment, and shopping very convenient, which is a big plus when traveling with kids. The hotel is quite old. The exterior looks good, but the rooms are very worn out. The wallpaper is peeling, the faucet leaks, and the room is small. I occasionally noticed a faint, not severe, musty smell.
During check-in, the front desk **employee** spoke quite rudely. I had booked an Executive King Room through Trip.com and a Twin Room using my Diamond status on the Hilton app. I was entitled to an upgrade, and I wanted both rooms to be on the same executive floor. I had communicated this with the hotel via message several days in advance, and they said they would try their best to arrange it. However, upon arrival, they said there were no executive twin rooms available. When I mentioned my early reservation, the front desk staff's exact words were that it was 'impossible not to give the executive twin rooms to guests who paid full price and give them to you instead.' What kind of statement is that? As a hotel loyalty cardholder, I'm entitled to upgrades, and I originally booked a twin room; I was only asking for a different floor, not a change in room type. It felt like they were accusing me of trying to get something for free. In the end, to be on the same floor to look after my family, I had to downgrade the Executive King Room to a regular floor. They claimed the king room was an 'upgrade,' but it turned out to be an end room on a low floor. To make matters worse, the two rooms were in different directions and very far apart. I was too tired to argue further. I've stayed in many hotels on this trip south, including Hiltons in Fuzhou and Quanzhou, and they all accommodated my family's needs. Even if they couldn't, they never spoke to me like that. I'm very disappointed.
Aside from this, the bellhop, the young lady at the front desk, and the restaurant staff were all excellent. They were responsive to all requests, especially a server in a purple uniform at the Fourteenth Day restaurant. She was enthusiastic, attentive, and always smiling. I didn't catch her name as she was busy, but she really elevated the overall service quality of the hotel. The hotel was very generous with complimentary water, the mini-bar was free, and the food at the executive lounge and breakfast was delicious and the service was great. I was quite satisfied with that.
One more thing: there are very few parking spaces at the entrance, which is not ideal for large commercial vehicles. The underground garage has a height restriction, so I couldn't get in and almost scraped the roof of my car. There was no place to park, and the staff at the entrance had to help. When they couldn't find a spot, I had to park in the mall's parking lot, which was inconvenient.FromNZD 164

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. There were several English speaking staff members and they were so helpful and kind. The rooms are clean and the cafe has plenty of breakfast options (both Chinese and Western). The internet is fast enough to hold video conferences. The bed is comfortable and if the room is too warm for you, they will provide you with a fan. The only downside is that the pool is closed from 11-4:30. This was disappointing as this is the time a lot of foreigners like to be outside swimming and in the sun.FromNZD 116

I stayed at the Langham during the Chinese New Year holiday because it's pet-friendly. Even though it's been open for a while, the hotel is really well-maintained, which shows that the Hong Kong-funded company still upholds high standards. The bathrooms and other areas were very clean. After check-in, they promptly delivered pet supplies to the room. The service was excellent throughout my two-night stay; any requests were immediately addressed and resolved. The room had great soundproofing. Breakfast was decent. They even gave me a complimentary room upgrade! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose the Langham again if I come back to Xiamen.FromNZD 114

As someone who loves staying at courtyard-style hotels when traveling, the Xiamen Yuhua Hotel truly exceeded my expectations this time. The hotel grounds are incredibly spacious. Aside from the main building, Xin Yue Tower, which is high-rise, other buildings like Tian Feng Tower, Hai Yu Tower, and Wan Yue Tower are only four or five stories tall. There are also Japanese and European-style villa clusters, and shuttle buses are available to transport guests between buildings.
The hotel boasts an ecological botanical garden, home to several lambs, an ostrich, and two peacocks. A small pond in the garden houses a flock of black swans and ducks, and the plant diversity is impressive.
Located in a flight path, you can watch planes from various airlines arriving in Xiamen every morning and evening from your room window. It was incredibly relaxing to enjoy breakfast on the restaurant terrace in the morning, watching planes that had just taken off fly over the lawn behind the hotel's Xin Yue Tower.
The cleaning staff thoughtfully folded my nightgown and placed it on the pillow when cleaning the room. When I was looking at the hotel's园区 map by the roadside, a male employee proactively greeted me, asked where I wanted to go, and gave me directions.
Although my trip to Xiamen for Chinese New Year wasn't as satisfying due to the crowds, staying at the Yuhua Hotel made up for all the previous disappointments, allowing me to leave feeling content.FromNZD 93

Stepping into the room, I was enveloped by the warm lighting. The decor was simple yet refined, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sinking into a cloud, instantly melting away all my fatigue. The bathroom's wet and dry separation was a thoughtful touch, with hot water available instantly and at a stable temperature. I woke up to birds chirping outside my window, and drawing back the curtains revealed a lush green view. The front desk staff were gentle and patient, making both check-in and check-out processes efficient. This short getaway completely exceeded my expectations; I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to the city.FromNZD 33

I had a great holiday stay in Xiamen Airlines Lakeside hotel. The lakeview room that i stayed is big with beautiful lakeview. At night, i also can watch the light show and musical fountain directly from the room. The location of hotel is convenient near the public bus stop and many nice food stalls. it was easy for me to go most attraction places with public transport.
The staff at front desk are nice, helpful and professional. i would like to thanks the staff 郑珂欣 for her excellent service, gave the useful place visit guides/info and arrange the transfer to airport during my hotel stay.
Highly recommend hotel to stay. Nice room and food, as well as excellent service.FromNZD 98

Really good, the location is super convenient. It's right in the heart of Xiamen, very close to MixC shopping mall, and even closer to the high-speed rail station. The hotel has everything: laundry facilities, a gym, yoga, Cantonese cuisine, you name it. I loved it, highly recommend! It's on a high floor, so you don't get bothered by street noise, which is great. I'll definitely stay here again! Also, I found a nice dessert shop right behind the hotel, a pleasant surprise.FromNZD 81

The location is fantastic, right near Zhongshan Road. It's tucked away in an alley off Zhongshan Road, just a 5-6 minute walk around the corner. The bus stop is also very close, and it's right by Zhenhai Road Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. While the hotel breakfast doesn't offer a huge variety, it's very clean. Overall, for a hotel in the bustling Zhongshan Road area, this place offers great value for money. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! A special shout-out to Irene, the Concierge Supervisor! My main reason for visiting was a concert, and I contacted the hotel beforehand to arrange transportation. Irene handled everything perfectly; the shuttle to and from the venue was punctual and comfortable, leaving me with absolutely no worries – it was such a relief! The hotel's location is superb, offering stunning views of Wuyuan Bay. The room perfectly met my needs as well, being quiet and spacious, making for a truly comfortable stay. What touched me most was the incredible politeness of every staff member here. Whether in the lobby or the restaurant, everyone would smile and greet me as I passed by. Their genuine courtesy made me feel so welcome. Thanks to all the staff for their thoughtful service; this will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I visit Xiamen!FromNZD 149

SM City Square Area Xiamen|2.73km from city center
First off, let's talk about the service – it's unbelievably fast! I messaged the front desk on WeChat asking for two bottles of water. I barely put my phone down, turned to use the restroom, and I swear I thought there was a fairy hidden behind the toilet! I'd only scrolled through short videos for about 5 minutes, and the doorbell rang – I hadn't even fully started to feel hungry yet! This speed is way faster than my ex used to reply to messages!
Now, about the food, the menu is updated frequently, and you can tell with every bite that a lot of thought goes into it.
I have to specifically praise the craft beer! I went to the hotel's small bar in the evening, just planning to have a casual drink. But one sip, and it knocked me off my feet with its amazing aroma! The foam was dense, and the malty flavor was rich – I felt like writing a poem while drinking it. Then, a friend with me, who usually hates beer, insisted on having red wine, and they actually had it! Their selection showed excellent taste; it wasn't some cheap, half-hearted option. For a hotel to excel at both types of alcohol, the bartender clearly knows their stuff when it comes to drinks!
Finally, I must mention the parking! It's free and unlimited! This is incredibly convenient for those who drive! When checking out, I didn't even need to scan any codes to pay for parking; I just drove off smoothly.
In short, this hotel is a must-stay! I'll definitely be back to relax and be 'useless' again!FromNZD 72

We arrived on the island during a torrential downpour and booked a hotel on the spur of the moment. I'd only heard about the unique architecture of the hotel, but after checking in, everything was excellent. The service was especially attentive and responsive. I got caught in the rain on the way in, and the front desk staff provided hot ginger tea. After checking in, I requested afternoon tea, which was also promptly delivered to my room. I'm especially grateful for the laundry service and luggage delivery to the dock, which greatly enhanced my travel experience. The food at the hotel and its own restaurant was also excellent, saving me the trouble of dining out on rainy days. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.FromNZD 335
