To map out your route, you can get physical maps at any station hub, but your best tool is a smartphone. The official "Qingdao Metro" app is excellent, but for English-friendly, real-time routing, Baidu Maps or Amap (Gaode) are the gold standards. Both provide step-by-step guidance, exact exit numbers for popular beaches, and transfer schedules.

Booked an executive floor room, and they even upgraded us to a suite – the experience was fantastic! The executive lounge on the 28th floor offers a breathtaking view of the sea and the Olympic Sailing Center. The afternoon tea was excellent, not at all perfunctory, with a good variety of items, including sandwiches and cold dishes. Dinner was decent, and there was a wide selection of cocktails. My only complaint is that they stop replenishing dinner items early, and they start clearing up by 7:30 PM, which made the dinner experience not as good as the afternoon tea. Breakfast was abundant and served on the first floor. Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay; the attention to detail was impressive, such as the great hairdryer and the pleasant scent of the toiletries. It's highly recommended for families!

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Qingdao while on a family road trip. It's an older five-star hotel that's been open for years, so the facilities feel a bit dated, but they're well-maintained. The guest rooms have an elegant, understated European retro style with plenty of stone and wrought iron decor, giving off a 'old money' vibe. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a spacious 60-square-meter suite. The layout was excellent with distinct zones, so there was plenty of room for the whole family without feeling cramped. At just over 600 yuan, it offered outstanding value for money. I especially want to praise the bedding – it was soft and breathable, making for a great night's sleep and effectively easing the fatigue from our long drive. The front desk staff were prompt with their service and very friendly towards children. The hotel is centrally located on Hong Kong Middle Road, with convenient parking for those driving, and easy access to the beach and shopping areas. It's truly ideal for family travel.

Choosing The Westin Qingdao for my trip was an absolute delight, and what truly made my stay exceptional was the outstanding service from the entire front office team. From check-in upon arrival to answering all my questions throughout my stay and finally a smooth check-out, every step reflected the professional standards of a five-star hotel, far exceeding my expectations. As soon as our car pulled up to the hotel entrance, a front office staff member proactively approached to guide us, thoughtfully directing us to the lobby for check-in. Stepping into the lobby and approaching the reception area, the staff members were consistently warm and friendly in their tone, providing genuine and sincere service, completely devoid of any robotic, impersonal feel. The check-in process was highly efficient and streamlined. During the process, they took the initiative to meticulously explain all key information, including suite privileges, important notes on using the room key card, opening hours for hotel facilities, and 24-hour service contact details. Everything was explained clearly and comprehensively, saving guests the trouble of having to ask individual questions. As it was my first time visiting Qingdao, I wasn't very familiar with the city's attractions or unique touring routes. Initially, I just planned to quickly check in and head to my room to rest. However, the front office staff attentively noticed my travel needs and, combining them with my preferences, patiently shared recommendations for local hotspots, the best times for scenic views, and reliable tour route planning. They thoughtfully helped me avoid crowded areas and proactively identified potential needs I hadn't even voiced, offering personalized suggestions. This spontaneous, heartwarming service instantly melted away the fatigue from my journey. During my several-day stay, whether it was during my daytime excursions or a late-night query, simply calling the front desk for changes in itinerary, booking taxis, local travel tips, or room-related coordination issues, the phone was always answered quickly. The staff consistently maintained a patient and meticulous attitude, diligently listening to my requests and providing practical solutions. Their response time was incredibly fast; there was never any delay, perfunctory response, or passive feedback. It was clear that the entire front office team had well-defined roles and worked seamlessly together, handling various guest inquiries with poise and professionalism. Their professional competence was truly outstanding. At check-out, the front office procedures were equally simple and fast, with no long queues or waiting times. The billing and verification process was transparent and efficient, making the entire experience hassle-free. From the initial reception upon arrival, through the constant support during my stay, to the thoughtful farewell at departure, the front office consistently maintained a steady and heartfelt service, truly ensuring that every need was met and every guest felt cared for. Much of this wonderful stay experience is owed to the meticulous service of the front office team. If I return to Qingdao, I will still prioritize this hotel, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all fellow travelers.

We chose Shangri-La Qingdao for our family trip with kids, and the entire stay exceeded our expectations! The check-in process was incredibly thoughtful, with a warm welcome tea and complimentary beer offered, instantly washing away our travel fatigue upon arrival. The staff proactively introduced the hotel's kids' craft area. My child absolutely loved the various clay DIY and creative craft projects, especially playing with Cherry – they had so much fun they didn't want to leave, which was a lifesaver for us parents. We even added Cherry on WeChat, and she patiently answered all our questions, meticulously recommending nearby attractions and authentic local restaurants tailored to our family's itinerary. She also distinguished between trendy spots and family-friendly places, helping us plan routes that saved time and effort. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center. Our room was clean and comfortable, and service responses were prompt. We felt the meticulous and thoughtful care everywhere. It's perfect whether for a short break or as a base for exploring Qingdao. With its superior facilities, warm service, and fun kids' activities, it's highly recommended for family travel. Next time we visit Qingdao, Shangri-La will still be our top choice. I genuinely recommend it to anyone planning a trip with children!

my experience was below expectations for a hotel at this price level. The good points are that the staff were polite and helpful, and the location is excellent. However, the overall facilities and services did not feel like a proper 5-star hotel experience. For the same price, I believe some 4-star hotels could offer better value. The room and facilities felt outdated. Even small details, such as the old air-conditioning remote control, gave the impression that the hotel needs renovation and better maintenance. The gym was also disappointing. Some machines and equipment looked old, and I noticed rust on the dumbbell rack, which is not acceptable for a hotel charging premium rates. Overall, the hotel is expensive compared to the quality provided. The staff and location are good, but the facilities, maintenance, and value for money are not at the level I expected. There are many better 5-star hotels available, and personally, I would not recommend this hotel

Our stay at the hotel was overall very pleasant. The hotel itself looks absolutely amazing, it truly feels like staying in a castle, both from the outside and inside. Our room had a beautiful sea view, which created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast offered a nice variety of options, and the café with its balcony overlooking the sea was a wonderful place to enjoy coffee. The food at the café was also very good. One of the highlights of our stay was the concierge service. The concierge was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. He assisted us many times with our deliveries and always made a great impression. Most of the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming as well. The hotel’s location, away from the city center, is actually a big advantage for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The beach is not crowded, and the swimming pool is usually peaceful and not busy. However, there are some areas where the hotel could improve. The room cleaning service needs more attention. It wasn't good at all. Some cups at breakfast were also dirty or cracked. The service at the café could be improved as well. When we came to order afternoon tea at around 5 PM, one of the young staff members seemed unhappy and impatient because it was close to the end of his working day. After making a short call, we were told that the kitchen was not answering and that they were no longer working. This experience did not feel very welcoming. Though I understand he really wanted to leave work asap, he could share it with his coworker after we left, not in front of us 🤣 The hotel also has a Japanese restaurant, but the staff could not provide clear information about its opening days or availability. We were told it might be open on Thursday and Friday, but it was not certain. Another concern is the small zoo area. animals appeared to be staying outside in the heat all day. In particular, there was a dog kept in a cage outside during very hot weather (around 35°C), which was concerning and seemed unsuitable for the animal’s comfort.. The beach near the hotel was unfortunately quite dirty, which is something that could be improved. Regarding the swimming pools, the indoor pool felt quite cold, especially with the air conditioning, making it difficult to enjoy with a child when the outdoor weather is too hot. The outdoor pool area also has limited comfortable seating. There are only a few lounge chairs, and adding soft cushions or mats would greatly improve the experience and make the area more relaxing. Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere, views, and peaceful location. The hotel has great potential, and with some improvements in service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, it could become an even better experience for guests.

I've stayed at this hotel before. This time, I booked a newly renovated room, and they've even added an elevator to the renovated building. The hotel's location is excellent; you just cross the road to reach the beach, and it's near the scenic area. The room was clean, and all the amenities were complete. It offers great value for money. The only downside is that there's only one charging pile at the hotel, so there's always a queue to charge. I'd recommend the hotel add a few more charging stations.

Absolutely loved the Junlan hotel in the ancient town! The decor is incredibly stylish and blends perfectly with the town's atmosphere. From the moment we came up from the underground parking, we could feel the hotel's unique vibe. I really enjoyed the overall design; every corner was picture-perfect. We booked a room with a courtyard, and it was so comfortable. Even though the courtyard walls were high, providing great privacy, it didn't block the sunlight at all, and the kids had a fantastic time playing there! This was definitely the highlight of our Jimo trip.

Facilities: This is an older five-star hotel. While the facilities are a bit dated, they are well-maintained. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Good attention to detail. Environment: The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet spot amidst a bustling area. Transportation around is very convenient, and Kaohsiung Station is right downstairs. Service: The hotel service is excellent. During the peak tourist season in Qingdao, the hotel staff were well-trained and efficiently resolved any issues.

The hotel's location and views are absolutely stunning. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the high-floor rooms offer breathtaking panoramic views. On one side, you can see the red tiles and green trees of the old city, while on the other, you have a distant view of Jiaozhou Bay. Qingdao TV Tower and the scenery of Badaguan are all within sight. You can enjoy the city's mountain and sea panorama right from your bed, and it's perfect for photos. The room is spacious and airy, with modern and elegant decor. The facilities are well-maintained, and the bedding is comfortable. When we checked in with our child, they even provided bed railings. The large glass windows let in plenty of natural light. Sitting on the window-side sofa, quietly overlooking the red rooftops of the old city and the distant sea, was a wonderful experience. Staying at the Holiday Inn Express Golden Beach, here's my honest feedback. Pros: Convenient location. Front desk staff, particularly Xiao You and Xiao Chen, were very reliable and helpful, proactively answering all my travel questions and being very friendly. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, definitely worth the price of the room. Minor cons: The facilities showed some signs of wear and tear, and there weren't enough power outlets near the sink. Overall, the value for money is decent. Traveling with kids, my priority was a hotel with direct beach access, which led me to choose the Hyatt Regency Qingdao Shanhai. The location is truly a huge plus! 🌊 You can go straight down to the beach from the hotel and even catch the sunrise over the sea, which significantly enhanced our experience. It's also very close to Wheat Island, Fushan Forest Park, and the Polar Ocean World, making sightseeing and excursions effortless. The executive lounge offers breathtaking views and a wide panorama, and the food quality is excellent; it's a very pleasant spot to relax. A special thanks to Sheila ✨ from the staff. She was incredibly patient and attentive from the booking stage, helping me compare and analyze the executive and sea-view rooms, giving suitable recommendations based on my needs, and enthusiastically suggesting nearby attractions. She also arranged for a child safety rail. Since we were with a child, we also received a complimentary sand play bucket. I initially expected an ordinary freebie, but I was pleasantly surprised by its excellent craftsmanship and quality; my child absolutely loved it. The service throughout our stay was meticulous and thoughtful, making for a truly wonderful overall experience. Highly recommended for families with children! We will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qingdao.

Huangdao Golden Beach Holiday Resort Qingdao|17.97km from city center
1. **Facilities**: The hotel facilities are a bit old, which is understandable given the hotel is over ten years old. 2. **Service**: Now, let's talk about the service. With older facilities, the service should be even more attentive. But as an old five-star hotel, the Hilton Golden Beach can be said to have no proactive service awareness at all. First, when I arrived by car on the first night, I couldn't find a parking space above ground. I asked the concierge where the underground parking was, and the staff told me the underground parking was full. I had to park on the side of the road, but then he told me I couldn't park there because a bus would come at 7 AM and block its passage. So I had to get up at 6:30 AM the next day to move my car. On the second day, I barely found an above-ground parking space. On the third day, there were no available above-ground spaces again, so I had to ask about the underground parking. The staff again said it was full. I questioned this, asking if it was full every single day for three days. The staff said they needed to manually lift the gate for the underground parking. It was only when I insisted on parking there that the staff took me to the underground parking. Although the underground parking was indeed not large, at least one-third of the spaces were empty. So, I believe the staff simply didn't want guests to park there because they found it troublesome. Additionally, when taking my child to the outdoor pool, two staff members checked room cards when entering the pool, but there was no place to get towels. Since the staff didn't put a child's bathrobe in my room, my child was cold after swimming. I had to go to the front desk to ask for towels, and then the staff had to go find them and bring them to me. Can't the hotel management improve their proactive service awareness? I don't believe I'm the first person to need a towel at that moment. They can have two people checking room cards, but they can't have two people providing towels for guests? 3. **Breakfast**: The hotel's breakfast can be said to have no Qingdao specialties at all. The variety is limited. The breakfast noodle soup has two broth options, seafood and chicken. For a coastal city, you'd at least expect some shrimp in the seafood noodle soup. The chicken soup didn't even have shredded chicken. It was just noodles, broth, and a few vegetable leaves – this is a five-star bowl of noodle soup. I stayed for four nights, and the fruit selection was the same every day: cantaloupe, pear, apple, peach, dragon fruit. In short, it was about the same quality as a cafeteria. 4. **Hygiene**: Needs improvement. The carpets in public areas were dirty and greasy. The baby chairs in the restaurant were also not clean. At breakfast, while I was waiting for the restaurant staff to clean the table, the placemat wasn't very dirty, so they just flipped it over and told me to continue using it. Well, okay. 5. My stay coincided with the summer vacation and the Beer Festival, and the hotel clearly had limited capacity. 6. Thanks to the staff who took me to the underground parking on the third day.

The facilities and services at the St. Regis Qingdao are, as always, excellent and consistent. Upon check-in, the front desk specially assigned us a spacious corner room with an incredible view. The 180° floor-to-ceiling windows offered a stunning panorama: a close-up of Qingdao's iconic red-tiled, white-walled cityscape, and a distant view of the azure sea, blue sky, and white clouds. We couldn't stop exclaiming over it! In addition to a complimentary exquisite welcome fruit plate, the hotel also provided free use of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages from the minibar. They also thoughtfully offered 24-hour attentive butler service. Our butler, Bertha, was warm and thorough, proactively contacting me to see if we needed anything, patiently answering all my questions. In the evening, she even delivered butter cookies and warm milk, and helped us arrange a late check-out. My child loves to swim, and the hotel's infinity pool had crystal clear water with no strong chlorine smell. When I took my child there, many other children were swimming, and at least two staff members were stationed by the pool at all times, ensuring guests' safety. All of this truly let guests experience the essence of the St. Regis Hotel's thoughtful service!

The hotel's location is great, and since I booked a room with a view, the scenery was fantastic with some picturesque spots perfect for photos. However, the breakfast selection wasn't up to par for a five-star hotel; it wasn't varied enough. Plus, there was no doorman service at the hotel lobby entrance. Shockingly, the bathroom windowsill had a crack, which wasn't mentioned during check-in. After I switched rooms, I found the new room's fridge was broken and had a strange smell. A few years ago, I came to eat with my friends in winter, and only noticed this garden-like hotel. This year, I took the children and the elderly to make a soup again. Far from the city, it takes about an hour to drive, the road is very smooth, basically no car The front desk check-in is very fast, whether it is to eat or soak, the butler pick-up is very timely, wait for three or five minutes. The park is very large, the villa area has private soup, and the public area also has hot springs. Rice can be ordered a la carte, or you can add a meal delivery fee to the room. The room is spacious and bright, the space is large, the pots and pans are available, the bag is checked in, and the cooking party is also completely OK. Personally, I suggest that the health of public hot springs should be paid attention to. The carcasses of small animals were found in several pools in the bamboo forest hot springs, which really affected the mood of the soup. Oil was found on the pillowcase in the room and it would be a bit uncomfortable. Personally, the pillow is slightly higher, I didn't sleep well all night, can I consider two options with high and bottom? All in all, it is good

Whenever I visit Qingdao, I always choose the Seaview Garden Hotel, and I'm consistently satisfied. During peak season in Qingdao, especially summer, you might encounter delays with check-in. A few days ago, the front desk at the Mangrove Tree Resort simply brushed it off, saying 'that's just how it is during peak season.' Here, however, the front desk staff apologized repeatedly while continuously working to sort things out, and the final outcome was still satisfying. Although the hotel is a bit older and its facilities might not be as high-tech as newer hotels, the rooms are exceptionally clean and well-maintained. This stay, I noticed some of the room furniture had been updated. The basement floor has play facilities for children of all ages, along with a projection room, DIY workshops, and more. The outdoor swimming pool is a saltwater pool. The hotel is also right across the street from the beach; while you can't swim there, you can go clamming during low tide. Kids can have a great time just staying at the hotel. The staff's service attitude is outstanding. Besides daily fruit and mini-bar drinks, they also provide small dolls and calcium milk biscuits for children. Since we drove, the staff even cleaned our car spotless every day. Basically, everything other good hotels do, Seaview Garden also does, and they go even further by paying attention to small details that enhance the guest experience. This was the hotel I was most looking forward to on this trip. I booked it because it was a 5-star resort, hoping to relax with my parents. However, when we drove up to the entrance, there was no one to help with luggage or direct us to parking. The entrance was completely empty. I thought everyone was busy, but once inside the lobby, I saw plenty of staff, yet no one came forward to assist us. This is unheard of in any 5-star hotel I've stayed at. After we went in, my dad asked where the charging stations in the parking lot were, and if they were fast or slow chargers. The staff member couldn't answer any of his questions, saying they'd have to go ask. In the end, we had no choice but to follow the signs and find the parking ourselves. On the bright side, the two rooms we booked could be connected by opening a door to form a single suite, which was a nice experience. Actually, when you approached the staff for something, their attitude was good, but it felt like there were some management issues. For example, after checking out, my mother realized she had left something in the room's refrigerator. I immediately called the front desk, explaining we were driving back to get it and asking if someone could collect the item and leave it at the concierge. The front desk confirmed it was no problem. After driving back to the hotel for about 20 minutes, my mother inquired at the concierge, but the concierge staff had no idea about it. They had to go ask the front desk, and only after getting a confirmation did they go up to the room to retrieve the item. We then waited at the hotel for almost 20 to 30 minutes, which was a very poor experience. Overall, the environment and cleanliness were excellent. The location is in Qingdao's new district, and the surrounding area, plus the sea view terrace, added a lot of points. However, the initial bad experience significantly lowered our overall impression. I hope they can make more improvements. Being able to see the sunrise and sunset over the sea from the room was something I really loved! The breakfast selection was comprehensive and delicious.

A trustworthy brand! The hotel facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. The orchid and phalaenopsis displays in the lobby are stunning. The concierge, seeing us come from the parking lot, immediately came over to help with our luggage. The front desk staff were very sweet and efficient with check-in, and they even gave a welcome gift since we had a child with us, which we really appreciated. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, especially the mattress, which was wonderfully soft. During our stay, we took our child to the indoor pool, which was large, very clean, and had a lifeguard present, making us feel very secure. There's also a 24-hour gym next to the pool. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a small park, offering options for both indoor and outdoor activities. Super convenient! Highly recommend!

Let's start with the downsides. Food delivery usually takes over half an hour, and there aren't many options to choose from. The fork in the drawer was sticky and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly before being put away. The clothes hanger cut my hand. There's no delivery robot. The drinks in the mini-fridge are chargeable. If you go crabbing on the beach at low tide, you'll usually only find a few small crabs. On the plus side, it's relatively quiet and the room is spacious.

Although this hotel is a bit old, the environment is great, and it's clean, hygienic, and comfortable. They even have smart toilets, which makes even a quick bathroom trip feel pleasant! The surrounding amenities are convenient, being close to May Fourth Square and the Third Bathing Beach. It's also easy to go out to sea from here. Absolutely love it!

Hygiene: The condition is worrying. There are hairs on the sink. One towel is hard and the other is soft (those who have stayed in hotels know what's going on). The water on the floor of the shower room is not dry. Are they really not afraid of customers slipping? Service: The service quality of the front desk is really good. Whether it's towels or water, they can be solved in time. But the next day, when I didn't check out, the cleaning lady came to knock on the door? What does it mean? Are you chasing people away? I won't come again

This hotel must be given a five-star rating! The location is excellent, and it is super convenient to eat. There is a restaurant inside the hotel. Facilities: The hotel facilities are very complete, the room is fully equipped with smart devices, the sofas in the public area are soft, and the warm lighting makes it very comfortable to rest and chat. Hygiene: The hygiene is impeccable, the room is spotlessly clean, the sheets and quilts are white and odorless, and there are no water stains and stains in the bathroom. The corridors, elevators and other public areas are kept clean at all times, and the trash cans are cleaned in time, so there is no need to worry about hygiene issues. Environment: The environment is quite pleasant, the overall decoration style is simple and warm, the lobby is spacious and bright, and the green plants are just right. The sound insulation of the room is excellent, and it is especially quiet when resting. There is a restaurant inside the hotel, which is very convenient. Service: The service is first-class, from the warm reception at the front desk to every link. The room service responds quickly and can be solved quickly if there is a need. The restaurant waiter is friendly and will patiently recommend dishes. The whole check-in process is very good.

My stay at Johnson Kangda Plaza Qingdao was truly enjoyable. The hotel has a modern and elegant design, and the room was exceptionally clean, well-furnished, and comfortable. The bed was soft, the bathroom was spotless, and the large windows provided a beautiful city view. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help—even small requests were taken care of promptly. The breakfast selection was generous, with both local and international options. The location is also very convenient, close to shopping areas, restaurants, and transportation. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value and a memorable experience. I would happily stay here again.

The hotel facilities are complete for the price. There's a laundry room and a gym. The breakfast is decent, and the rooms are clean and tidy, though the soundproofing could be a bit better. There are many local eateries around the hotel and transportation is convenient. Jenny at the front desk provided excellent service; she was enthusiastic and very helpful.

The room is very large and has independent air conditioning and washing machine. It is really good value to be able to stay in such a good hotel at such a cheap price. There is free pick-up and drop-off at the subway station. The parking lot is also very large. I will come again next time!

The hotel is very good and clean, and it is convenient to go out. There is a subway station at the door. There is a small shop downstairs. It is far from the scenic spot, and the commute takes more than an hour. You can consider it. The hotel front desk also gave a small gift and breakfast, which is very good!

This fast hotel is very cost-effective! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the WiFi signal was stable, and the hot water was sufficient to fully meet the needs of short-term accommodation. The front desk service is warm and the check-in/check-out efficiency is high. Convenient location, there are bus stops and convenience stores around, convenient travel. Although the room size is small, the layout is reasonable and the sound insulation effect is acceptable. Air conditioning and cooling are strong, TV channels are complete. The bathroom toiletries are complete and cleaned in time. At this price, the hardware and services have exceeded expectations, and the transition of business trips or travel is highly recommended!
