This stay far exceeded my expectations! From the moment we checked in, Rita at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile that made us feel right at home. She efficiently and professionally handled the check-in process and even provided detailed information about the breakfast and gym locations. When I requested a late check-out, Bryant not only patiently arranged it but also explained all the important details. He proactively offered information about transportation around the hotel and its facilities, which helped me settle in quickly and comfortably. The service was truly heartwarming. Upon entering the room, the bed was spotless, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious – absolutely fantastic! More than the hotel's facilities, it was the staff's service that truly impressed me. This trip was exceptionally smooth thanks to your outstanding employees, and I will definitely choose this hotel first whenever I visit Xiamen again.

Regarding room condition, this hotel is not new hotel, but it is well-maintained and well-managed hotel so that i had no hygiene issue. As for Breakfast, This hotel offers various selection at Breakfast buffet restaurant with tasty hot dishes. I arrived at the hotel around 1:50 PM on January 1st. There was a huge crowd checking in, and almost everyone was having trouble getting their rooms. I was also told I'd have to wait until 3 PM to enter mine. It was clear they were understaffed during the holiday, and check-in took quite a while. Once I finally got my room key and went up to my floor, I found the key card wouldn't open the door. Luckily, the staff on the floor were very helpful; they verified my information and let me in. Overall, the check-in experience was extremely poor. Everything else was pretty standard. The room was a bit old, and there were few power outlets, which were also very loose. The option to choose between a soft or firm mattress was a nice, thoughtful touch. However, both the lobby and the elevators had an unpleasant odor, which mixed with the hotel's air freshener was quite off-putting. I didn't try the dining, as Xiamen has plenty of great food options, and ordering takeout is very convenient. The hotel's location is better suited for taxis or driving. The nearby Egret Island is beautiful, and it's quite convenient to get around from here. It's about a 25-minute drive to Gaoqi Airport. Overall, it's decent for the price. The staff were genuinely friendly, but the overall experience wasn't great.

The room exceeded my expectations; the facilities were quite new, and Gulangyu Island was right across. Listening to music on the JBL speaker while enjoying the night view was very relaxing. Turning right out of the hotel, it's a 5-minute walk to Zhongshan Road, where there's a huge variety of food. It's also close to the ferry terminal for returning from Gulangyu Island. The only downside was the elevator setup, which seemed a bit inconvenient; we often had to wait and sometimes squeeze in.

A great 4 star hotel just 900 meters (about a 10 minute drive) from Xiamen T4 and T5 airports. ⭐️Positive aspects: Probably the biggest win is their airport shuttle service. They have a nice new Buick van (that is bright purple 🟪- so it is pretty hard to miss) and the van can be there within 10 minutes of when you call the hotel or message them from baggage claim. So the transportation is well organized and very efficient. Mr. Li the van driver was very sweet and kind. The hotel room was nice and big and has very cozy carpet and a nice soft bed with good linens. Shower is hot and amenities in the room are thoughtful, including white tea scented 🫖 soaps and shampoo. The breakfast, service, and furnishings are comparable to other 4 star chains in China like Holiday Inn or Hampton by Hilton or Lavande. Breakfast has a nice spread but mostly Chinese and not so western. That said, the food they do provide is high quality and the noodles are great and the coffee is real. I enjoyed the breakfast. ⭐️A few negative points: I liked the art theme in the hotel and they pull it off well. Each room is themed around a famous painting and I was in the Salvador Dali’s “melting clocks” ⏰ The only thing I can complain about is there are moments when the art feels a little cheesy. For instance- the little ash trays at the elevator with sand in them have kid’s decorations that feel a bit more like kids’ zone stuff than professional artwork. Also the shower 🚿 doors are red glass and that felt like more of a playful Kindergarten space than something matching Salvador Dali. Not a deal breaker but an observation. This kind of art theme can be difficult to pull off in China 🇨🇳. The only other small negative is there is some wear on some of the spaces and walls. At the front desk counter I noticed some old looking and chipped areas of the desk. Overall a great choice next to the airport. I would stay here again.

I originally wanted to book a hotel on Xiamen Island, but to my surprise, Qianwen recommended this five-star hotel, and its value for money really caught my eye. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a sea-view room, which was incredibly spacious and spotless. The ocean view from the window was stunning. Directly across from the hotel is a park, and an evening stroll there was lovely with all the beautiful lights. The hotel service was also excellent, and they even offered a complimentary afternoon tea. Breakfast was extensive, and the freshly prepared congee was particularly outstanding. The only minor drawback is that Metro Line 2 is 1.2 kilometers from the hotel, which is a bit far. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, definitely a 5-star experience!

Stepping into the hotel, we were immediately enveloped in a strong festive atmosphere for the Chinese New Year, with the vibrant red decorations creating a very joyful vibe. The hotel's night view was also beautiful. We arrived in the evening, and it was quite chilly getting out of the car, but as soon as we entered the lobby, a concierge offered us ginger tea, which warmed us right up – truly thoughtful service! The front desk staff were all impeccably uniformed, almost like they were welcoming VIPs, which honestly made us a little shy, haha. There was even a dedicated lift attendant at the elevator, a service rarely seen in hotels, and definitely worth a big thumbs up! The location is also super convenient, with Gulangyu Island and Zhongshan Road right nearby. There are bus stops and a subway station just outside the hotel. We had booked a windowless room, but the front desk kindly upgraded us to a city view room for free, which had excellent natural light. This stay offered incredible value for money, and the experience was truly fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Booked a two-night package and was absolutely delighted with the hotel. Shangri-La's usual high standards in terms of facilities and service go without saying. I was here for the Xiamen Marathon, and the hotel is only about two to three kilometers from the starting line, plus they offered a shuttle service, which was incredibly convenient. Runners were allowed a late check-out until 4 PM, and when we returned, there were even recovery packs with bread and pastries – they really understand what runners need! On top of that, the hotel has a kids' play area that's very well-equipped and professional, comparable to paid facilities outside, and my child loved it. It's also just a 600-meter walk to the beach, which is quite handy. My kid has already said they want to come back during the winter holiday. If I get into the Xiamen Marathon again, I'll definitely choose Shangri-La; I've become a loyal fan.

The experience was absolutely fantastic. A special shout-out to the hotel for the thoughtful wristband room keys for the kids; they were absolutely thrilled throughout our three-night stay. The spacious 1.45-meter twin beds were incredibly comfortable. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the view and convenient for drying clothes. Kids playing in the water also had plenty of shade, and the pool staying open until 10 PM was a huge bonus – the children had a blast and the water was spotless. The beach is just across the road, and directly outside the hotel is the lively Sunshine Town. In my opinion, the comfort and overall experience here definitely outshine Qixingwan.

Great atmosphere, friendly service. I stayed in this hotel for a short trip. The reception lady was friendly, the bar in the lobby is beautiful and they had some singing performers there on Sunday evening, which felt really special and welcoming. The carpet and walls in the hallways need renovation and an AC in that area would be nice. My room was quite far away from the elevator, which was quite inconvenient. Unfortunately, the adults pool wasn’t “working” when I wanted to use it and the sauna was out of service as well. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay.

The view from the room was excellent, and my kids loved being able to cast videos to the TV. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and the staff provided exceptional service. Every time we left or returned, the concierge team was incredibly helpful with our stroller, which we really appreciated. They even had a child's toilet seat, footstool, slippers, and toiletries placed in the room beforehand. Our stay happened to be over Christmas, and the hotel lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Food delivery robots were able to bring orders directly to our room very quickly, which was a great convenience and something I'd recommend. The only minor downside was that since our room faced the street, the sound insulation for the floor-to-ceiling windows wasn't the best and could use some improvement.

The bed is comfortable and if the room is too warm for you, they will provide you with a fan. The only downside is that the pool is closed from 11-4:30. This was disappointing as this is the time a lot of foreigners like to be outside swimming and in the sun.

Top notch service by Langham’s Place Guest relation officer , Ms Pearl. We were warmly greeted by her once we checked in and she went the extra mile to prepare the birthday celebration for my spouse. Upon asking, she recommended several places to dine around the hotel vicinity. When I had a parcel delivered to me, she made sure that I received it too. I’ve met many diligent GROs and concierge in the hotel industry , but none as thoughtful as her. The room is clean and spacious, and the pool is decent. The steam room and sauna looks interesting but I did not try. The breakfast is a wide spread but it’s pretty much the same thing daily. The hotel is next to a mall with many eateries nearby.

Pretty good! The location is nice, too. The rooms are consistently a bit small, but I'd still recommend this place to friends. The service was also good, and I had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you so much!

The hotel's location is great, with a shopping mall and a supermarket downstairs. It also has its own free underground parking, which is very convenient for guests traveling by car or rental. The room was spacious, with a large open layout and big windows offering nice views. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and my room even had a bathtub, which was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. The front desk staff and concierge were very friendly and helpful. Someone even opened the car door for me at the entrance, and they proactively called me when I accidentally left clothes in the closet after checking out so I could retrieve them. Overall, everything was excellent, and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

I really liked my stay there. I do think it may be harder for foreigners to stay here compared to possibly other options as most workers do not speak English. I found it quite hard to communicate. However, I do recommend it and I personally would stay again. Especially as we overcame the challenges of communication and I was easily able to work with the staff. The bathroom and bed are amazing and I would love to use them again. The airport is only 10 yen away by taxi which is amazing and I honestly would come again.  I added two photos. One of my breakfast and another of the room while I was watching tv.

Overall, it exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, and the room design, with its industrial style, was beautiful. The high ceilings were a nice touch, and the soundproofing was good. Since I'm particular about air quality, the staff even brought a dedicated air purifier to my room. Thumbs up! Although there isn't a subway station super close by – it's about a 10 to 15-minute walk – getting around Xiamen by taxi is very convenient, so it wasn't an issue for me. Plus, the breakfast spread was quite generous and tasty. Highly recommended.

We arrived on the island during a torrential downpour and booked a hotel on the spur of the moment. I'd only heard about the unique architecture of the hotel, but after checking in, everything was excellent. The service was especially attentive and responsive. I got caught in the rain on the way in, and the front desk staff provided hot ginger tea. After checking in, I requested afternoon tea, which was also promptly delivered to my room. I'm especially grateful for the laundry service and luggage delivery to the dock, which greatly enhanced my travel experience. The food at the hotel and its own restaurant was also excellent, saving me the trouble of dining out on rainy days. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.
