After researching online, I decided to stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel, and it definitely didn't disappoint. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious, and the view was fantastic. After a leisurely breakfast, it was only a 10-minute walk to the Dongdu Ferry Terminal. Plus, having a subway station right downstairs made all my subsequent travels incredibly convenient. Honestly, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was even better than many outside. I thought their Ginger Duck (Jiang Mu Ya) tasted more authentic than what I found elsewhere. The crispy squab and all the fried rice options were also incredibly tasty. To top it off, they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for just 118 RMB per person, which is fantastic value, especially considering even a simple bowl of noodles in Xiamen can cost 30 RMB. Moreover, the hotel bed was exceptionally comfortable. As someone who often struggles with sleep, my sleep quality literally doubled. In short, the Pan Pacific Hotel greatly enhanced my overall travel experience. It was absolutely fantastic! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of BinBei. Great restaurants and night life around. Very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Check in and out was easy. The only negative point of the experience was the room itself. We reserved as Superior King room, for 514元 (714元 with breakfast for two). The King Room only had a Queen bed. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpets felt old and a little dirty. And the electrical outlets were VERY inconvenient. Only one outlet on the whole bedside wall and it was pretty far away from the bed. So I gave that one to my girlfriend for her phone and I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room on the desk. I know it’s an old hotel but it’s time to update and renovate the rooms. For the price we paid, the room felt like a bit of a disappointment. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. Just the room left a little to be desired. It was nice to experience such an iconic Xiamen institution but for us, in the future, we’ll stay somewhere else.

I initially thought the hotel would be quite old and didn't have high expectations, but my three-day stay completely changed my mind. The security guard in the parking lot left a lasting impression on me. After guiding us to a parking spot for our car rented from Ctrip, he enthusiastically shared information about nearby attractions and local delicacies in Xiamen (without it affecting his work). The room itself was decent, and the view was great.

As a tourist from Singapore visiting Xiamen, my stay at the Hampton by Hilton Xiamen City Plaza was absolutely fantastic! First and foremost, I have to give a huge shout-out to the hotel's front desk service! Not only were the ladies at check-in warm and attentive, but what impressed me even more was their efficiency in issuing electronic invoices after check-out. I had already returned to Singapore when I realized I needed an invoice, and with just a phone call, the front desk swiftly and patiently helped me sort everything out. I received a clear electronic invoice via email. This kind of cross-border after-sales service truly made me feel incredibly cared for and valued, completely easing any worries I had. The hotel itself boasts an excellent location, making travel convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing me to get ample rest during my trip. The breakfast selection was also rich and varied, a great way to start the day. All in all, from the facilities to the service, from check-in to post-departure support, this experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Xiamen, especially business travelers—you won't have to worry about invoice issues at all! If I visit Xiamen again, I will definitely choose this hotel!

First off, this isn't about the staff; their work was perfectly fine, their attitudes and everything were great. The environment was impeccable, and the location was excellent, with Gulangyu Island directly across from our sea-view room. If it hadn't been for the room upgrade, I probably wouldn't have found any issues with this stay. I originally booked a Deluxe Sea View Room, but the front desk said it was fully booked. The only remaining room was directly facing the elevator. To get away from the elevator, an Executive Room was the only option, so I chose to upgrade. The Executive Room came with many extra perks (see picture), but seriously, are these so-called 'services' really designed with customer needs in mind? Honestly, if you didn't offer these services, I wouldn't even think about it. But if you're going to offer them, be generous and don't be so stingy. You offer an 80-yuan laundry voucher that can't be stacked, and you can only use 80 yuan per day. For two people, that's not even enough to wash two t-shirts. If a guest only stays for one night, they can't even enjoy this service because clothes have to be dropped off before 8 AM (before check-in) and aren't ready until 6 PM the next evening (check-out is at 12 PM). So, the housekeeping staff directly refused to take our dirty laundry. Free two-hour meeting room, free printing, free phone calls, free computer use—wow! So many freebies!!! Seriously, who uses these nowadays? Then there's the 50-yuan hotel car voucher. A single ride starts at 260 yuan, even if you're going less than 5 km, and it's only for destinations within the island. Isn't giving out this 50-yuan voucher just annoying? Oh, and there's a 128-yuan massage voucher, for massages that start at 400 yuan. Either you generously offer a proper, genuinely useful free service that everyone would use, like a free airport transfer, a free laundry service, or a free massage, etc., or just don't offer anything at all. People who can afford executive floors aren't looking for these petty discounts. But it's really quite irritating to list so many things that 99% of people won't use. And your executive lounge – hardly anyone goes up there anyway. The juices are all concentrated; they're not even willing to offer freshly squeezed. They claim it's available 'all day'. When checking out, I thought since it was a weekend and occupancy was high, I didn't want to inconvenience subsequent guests. Even though I could have extended my check-out, I decided not to, and just planned to go to the executive lounge to wait for my high-speed train for about an hour after regular check-out. I was refused. There's nothing in the executive lounge during the day anyway, just a few bottles of water. I wasn't some regular floor guest trying to sneak in; why couldn't I even sit in the executive lounge for a bit???? So then I decided to just extend my check-out, and they reluctantly granted it, citing high occupancy. I was speechless. I stayed for three nights and only went to the 26th floor once. I really don't understand who benefits from all these 'rules' and 'freebies' you've set up. For guests planning to travel here, setting aside these 'additional services' of the executive floor, everything else is pretty good. If you book an executive floor, remember to check in before 6 PM on the first day, and when checking out, strongly insist on a late check-out until 2 PM! Oh, and if you order takeout, it's best to have the delivery rider wait for you in the lobby and pick it up yourself. Otherwise, they won't be allowed into the lobby and will put your food in a locker, which then requires you to register, log in, enter a password, personal information, and a bunch of other messy stuff first. Their robots only deliver the hotel's own food.

The vast, endless ocean stretched out before me, its azure waters shimmering, meeting the sky in the far distance. This incredible scenery alone made the room price entirely worthwhile. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities feel a bit dated compared to newly renovated ones. However, the location is excellent. I'd especially like to commend their service. As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, a security guard helped with my luggage, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Another highlight is that you can check in after 8 AM. Attending a concert in Xiamen, I chose the Wyndham for its proximity to the Olympic Sports Center. A taxi ride was about 30 yuan, but to my pleasant surprise, the hotel offered a shuttle service! This saved me the awkwardness of battling crowds for a taxi after the concert. The hotel is a bit older, but the facilities are well-maintained, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. It's a small pity I didn't get to experience the beautiful pool. A huge thanks to Kelly at the front desk for upgrading me to a room with a fantastic view – I had a panoramic vista of Wuyuan Bay! 🥹

The spacious 1.45-meter twin beds were incredibly comfortable. The balcony was perfect for enjoying the view and convenient for drying clothes. Kids playing in the water also had plenty of shade, and the pool staying open until 10 PM was a huge bonus – the children had a blast and the water was spotless. This hotel is right next to Xinglin Bay Hotel, by Xinglin Bridge. The environment is lovely, right by the sea. As soon as you enter the room and open the curtains, you get a beautiful sea view. It was stunning, and I even saw the sunrise in the morning! We went for a swim in the pool around 3 PM, and then enjoyed the hot springs in the evening, which were very comfortable. After the hot springs, you can even do a steam bath. In the evening, there's a complimentary late-night noodle supper, which tasted great. The next morning, after a buffet breakfast, we checked out and headed home. The breakfast had a good variety, including many Xiamen snacks. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great value for money. I'll definitely be back for the hot springs next time.

Overall nice view relaxing days at the Beach. Breakfast is also possible to eat outside on the terrace, which is very nice with direct ocean view. Breakfat overall very good. Got Room-Upgrade for free at Check-In Rooms are very nice and quiet. What i don`t like is that guests from other Hotel (half price room rate) are allowed to use the Swimming-Pool Facilities at Renaissance-Hotel. This is just not ok and that why there are a lot of families from the other Hotel with several Kids. Very noisy during day-time at the Poo. Also there are only 14 pool lounger available, which is just not enough for two hotels which are using the pool

The sea view rooms all feature oversized, floor-to-ceiling windows, offering breathtaking views of either the ocean or the bay. Whether it's enjoying the clear blue skies and sea during the day or the golden hues of the sunset in the evening, it's incredibly therapeutic. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, the unobstructed azure sea stretches out, with the Xinglin Bridge arching gracefully like a rainbow across the waves. Waking up to the first rays of sunshine in the morning, enjoying a stunning sunset from the comfort of your room in the evening, and seeing the twinkling lights on the bridge at night – this sea view alone makes the room worth every penny. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with a generous layout. Cleanliness is consistently highly praised, and the bedding is comfortable, ensuring a high-quality night's sleep. The rooms are well-equipped, with some even featuring bathtubs, allowing you to soak while admiring the beautiful views outside. The breakfast is abundant, a frequently praised aspect by guests, offering a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. There are local specialties as well as pastries and bread, all of good quality. We truly felt valued. Merry's pre-check-in inquiries made us feel that the hotel's service started not when we stepped into the lobby, but from the moment we connected with her. This is a guest-centric, seamless service experience. Her smile, professionalism, attentiveness, and creativity made our check-in process at your hotel a true pleasure.

Wuyuan Bay Area Xiamen|8.26km from city center
Specifically flew to Xiamen for Wang Leehom's concert, the ”best place.” Choosing to stay at the Hyatt Regency Wuyuan Bay was an incredibly wise decision! The hotel thoughtfully arranged a complimentary shuttle bus service between the hotel and the Olympic Sports Center concert venue. The shuttle could drive directly into the venue, saving us the hassle of waiting for taxis. It was incredibly convenient! On both the way there and back, Leehom's songs were playing on a loop in the bus, and free water was provided when we boarded after the concert. In the evening, the room also received complimentary late-night snacks, accompanied by a handwritten card, showing immense sincerity and providing great emotional value! I had stayed at Hyatt Regency Wuyuan Bay before for a business trip, but this experience truly exceeded all expectations! Will definitely come again!

The airport shuttle service was fantastic! They even picked me up when my flight arrived in the early hours of the morning. The driver who picked me up at night was really friendly and talkative. After clearing customs, I just had to inform the hotel, and the shuttle arrived in less than 5 minutes. If you're heading to the airport during the day, just make sure to check the hotel's shuttle schedule.

SM City Square Area Xiamen|2.73km from city center
The hotel is easy to find and conveniently located very close to Xiamen Station, about a 15-minute taxi ride away. Right next door, there's Tianhong Shopping Mall, featuring a Starbucks, Luckin Coffee, and delicious bakeries on its first floor. It's a fantastic location overall, with many excellent local restaurants and specialty shops nearby. The staff were all very friendly. We had also stayed at this hotel last summer. Our child particularly loved the LOFT-style bed with its steps; there's a tatami bed perfect for lounging, and the upper level features a super comfortable mattress and a cozy relaxation area. The bed felt very sturdy, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep, and the lighting design was also well thought out. For breakfast, we really enjoyed their Shacha noodles, which you can order for free by scanning a QR code. My 9-year-old daughter, who is 140cm tall, also required a meal ticket for breakfast.

♥️About Gulangyu Island Huge banyan trees that block out the sun Can be seen everywhere Prunus hornbeams Pink, white, red, rose-red Each one is gorgeous Lazy cats Reluctant but welcoming Stone steps Can go up or down Seasons Can be sunny or rainy Expressing feelings in the mountains and seas Embracing each other in human feelings May the world Be gentle to you Experienced the butler service of star-rated hotels, but compared with the butler Xiaolei here, they are far worse. When you get off the boat, there are parasols handed over and ice-cold winter melon tea. On such a hot day, he kept helping to push the boxes and also explained. When you arrived at the hotel, you were greeted with ice towels and super delicious butterfly cakes and tea. Please see the pictures for the beautiful scenery. The key is the breakfast. It is not only exquisite, but also really delicious. If you come to Gulangyu again, you must definitely stay at this hotel. It refreshed my understanding of homestays
