Hong Kong to Macau - First, the Quick Overview

Hong Kong and Macau are close—37 miles across the water. Most people pick ferries (fast, drops you where you want to be) or buses over the HZMB bridge (cheaper, scenic). Helicopters are a thing, but they’re for rich folks or people who forgot to book a ferry. And high-speed rail is not worth it for a day trip—more on that later.

Hong Kong to Macau - Ferries, The Best Option

Hong Kong to Macau - Ferries, The Best Option, TurboJet Waterplane Night Service Boat Ticket - One-way (Hong Kong Sheung Wan to/from Macau Outer Harbour)

Ferries are the top pick because they drop you right in central Macau (close to historic sites) or the Cotai Strip (near casinos/hotels) and run 24/7. Two companies dominate: TurboJET and Cotai Water Jet.

Hong Kong to Macau Ferries Prices & Routes

Adults pay around $22 on weekdays, $24 on weekends/holidays, and $28 for night ferries (10 PM to 6 AM). Kids under 12 are half-price, and infants under 3 are free. I always book online via their websites or Trip.com—weekend lines at the terminal can be 20+ mins long, and no one wants to waste vacation time waiting.

Hong Kong to Macau Ferries Departure & Arrival Terminals

  • Departure terminals in HK: If you are in Central/soho, Sheung Wan (Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal) is the best, super convenient. Tsim Sha Tsui (China Ferry Terminal) is more suitable for Kowloon.
  • Arrival in Macau: The Outer Harbour Pier (in the central part of Macau) is just a few steps away from the Ruins of Sao Paulo and Senado Square, making it an ideal place for both history and cuisine. The Taipa Pier (Cotai Strip) is right next to the Venetian, Parisian and all the casinos. It would be great if you come here for shopping or entertainment.

Hong Kong to Macau Ferries Schedules

They operate around the clock! During the day (from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.), ferries depart every 15 to 30 minutes, with turbojet being more frequent. In the evening, it is charged once per hour. If you want to stay very late for dinner or enjoy the night view of Macau, this is the perfect choice. Suggestion: Arrive at the immigration office 30 minutes in advance, you need to scan your passport and flight ticket. Backups can be made during peak hours (9 a.m. to 12 p.m., 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.).

  • Daytime (6 AM–10 PM): Ferries leave every 15–30 mins (TurboJET is more frequent).
  • Nighttime (10 PM–6 AM): Hourly departures. It's very suitable for having dinner in the evening in Macau.

Hong Kong to Macau Ferries Luggage

You can bring one piece of carry-on luggage and one piece of checked luggage (up to 20 kg) for free. Extra luggage is about $5 each, so if you're only on a one-day trip, don't pack too much- you just need a small bag for your passport, phone and wallet.

Hong Kong to Macau - HZMB Bus, Cheap & Nice View

Hong Kong to Macau - HZMB Bus, Cheap & Nice View

If you’re trying to save money or want to see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (it’s the world’s longest sea-crossing bridge—pretty wild), the shuttle bus is your guy. It’s cheaper than ferries, but there’s a catch: you have to get to the Hong Kong Port first (it’s in Lantau, not central HK).

What’s the “HZMB Shuttle Bus”?

The bus is called the “Golden Bus” locally, and it runs directly between Hong Kong Port and Macau Port (Taipa). The ride over the bridge is about 45 mins, and you’ll get great views of the bay and artificial islands—bring your camera!

HZMB Bus Prices

Adults pay $8.25 during the day (6 AM to 10 PM) and $8.90 at night. Kids 3-11 and seniors over 65 get half off—around $4-$4.50. Way cheaper than ferries, but remember: you have to get to Hong Kong Port first.

Getting to Hong Kong Port

This is the only hassle. Here’s how I do it when I’m on a budget:

  1. Take the MTR Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung Station (about 30 mins from Central).
  2. Walk 5 mins to Tung Chung Bus Terminus and catch bus B5 to Hong Kong Port (10 mins, $1).
Total time: ~1 hr, total cost: ~$3.50.

If you don’t want to transfer, you can take a taxi from central HK—costs $39-$52 and takes 45-60 mins. Or book a direct express bus from Central/Tsim Sha Tsui—tickets are $15-$20, and it drops you right at Hong Kong Port with no transfers.

Pro tips for HZMB Bus

  • Arrive 40 mins early for immigration—there are fewer checkpoints here than at ferry terminals, so lines can be longer.
  • Check the weather! The bridge closes during typhoons (Signal 8 or higher). I once got stuck in Macau because of a typhoon—learn from my mistake and check the HZMB app before leaving.

Hong Kong to Macau - Helicopters, Luxury & Fastest

Helicopters are the fastest way to get from Hong Kong to Macau—15 mins flat! But they’re also the most expensive. Heli Express is the only company that runs them, and one-way tickets start at $550 per person. Private charters for up to 6 people are around $3,300.

Who is this for? Business travelers who have meetings at 9 AM and don’t want to wake up early, or people who just want to splurge. I’ve never taken one (too pricey for me!), but friends who have say the VIP fast track through immigration is worth it if you’re in a hurry. You book 3-7 days in advance—there are only 4-6 seats per helicopter, so they sell out fast.

[3% OFF] Hong Kong to Macau - High-Speed Rail (HSR)

[3% OFF] Hong Kong to Macau - High-Speed Rail (HSR)

Many people ask about high-speed rail, but the fact is that there is no direct high-speed rail from Hong Kong to Macao. You have to transfer many times, which is slower and more troublesome than ferries or buses. Let's analyze it:

Hong Kong to Macau - The train route (if you’re determined):

  1. Take the Hong Kong Express Rail from West Kowloon Station in Hong Kong to Shenzhen North Railway Station (20 minutes, 10 US dollars).
  2. Transfer to the high-speed rail from Shenzhen North Railway Station to Zhuhai Changlong Railway Station (1 hour, 15 US dollars).
  3. Take a taxi or bus from Chimelong in Zhuhai to the Port of Macau (20 minutes, 5-10 US dollars).
  4. Go through the entry customs to enter Macao.

Total time: approximately 2 hours (if all transfers go smoothly), total cost: 30- 35 US dollars. This is longer than a ferry and only a little cheaper than a bus plus a subway. And if any train is delayed or you miss a transfer? You’re screwed.

When is HSR worth it?

Only when you combine your trips to Shenzhen or Zhuhai with those to Macao. For instance, if you stay in Shenzhen for a few days, then take the high-speed rail to Zhuhai and then transit through to Macao - this makes sense. But what about a one-day tour from Hong Kong to Macao? Save yourself the trouble and take the ferry.

Hong Kong to Macau - Visa & Border Rules

Hong Kong to Macau - Visa & Border Rules

I’ve seen people get turned away at the border because they forgot their passport or didn’t check visa rules—don’t be that person. Here’s the simple version:

  • Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months from your travel date. No exceptions.
  • Visa: Most nationalities get visa-free entry to Macau. US, EU, UK, Australia, Japan, Canada—30 days. Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore—14-21 days. If you’re from a country that needs a visa, apply for an e-visa online 1-2 weeks in advance.
  • Re-entering Hong Kong: If you’re in Hong Kong on a tourist visa, you can leave for Macau and come back without a new visa—just make sure your Hong Kong visa is still valid.
  • Immigration: You’ll clear two checkpoints—one when leaving Hong Kong, one when entering Macau. Have your passport ready, and answer questions honestly (they usually just ask how long you’re staying).

Hong Kong to Macau Day Trip Itinerary

A Day Trip to Macau, Travel to Macau 1 Day

A Day Trip to Macau, Travel to Macau 1 Day

This is the itinerary I use every time- feasible, interesting, and reaching all the best places, don’t miss these iconic spots with coupon:

Macau Day Trip Itinerary

  1. 8:30 a.m. : Board the TurboJET flight departing from Sheung Wan, Hong Kong at 8:30 a.m. → Arrive at the Outer Harbour Terminal of Macau at 9:30 a.m.
  2. 10:00 a.m. : Walk for 10 minutes to Ruins of St. Paul's to take photos, and then have an egg tart at Lord Stow's (just around the corner, yes, it's worth queuing).
  3. 11:30 a.m. : Stroll through Senado Square - with its soft-colored Portuguese architecture, street performers and charming cafes. If you need to refresh yourself, stop and have a cup of coffee.
  4. 1:00 p.m. : Have lunch at a local restaurant - try African chicken (a Macao specialty) or pork cutlet buns. My favorite is Litoral restaurant in the center of Macau. It's cheap and delicious.
  5. 2:30 p.m. : Take a taxi to the Golden Avenue (about 5 dollars, 15 minutes). Take a walk around the indoor canal of the Venetian Hotel or take photos on the replica of the Eiffel Tower in Paris (the first floor is free).
  6. 5:30 p.m. : Take the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge shuttle bus back to Hong Kong and arrive at 6:30 p.m. It is very suitable for dining in Central or Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.

Top 3 Things to Do in Macau

  1. Ruins of St. Paul’s: The iconic stone façade—you have to take a photo here, but don’t just snap and leave. Walk around the back to see the museum (small but interesting) and the stairs leading up to the fortress.
  2. Senado Square: Great for people-watching and soaking up Macau’s colonial vibe. Grab a seat at an outdoor café and watch the world go by.
  3. Cotai Strip: Even if you don’t gamble, it’s worth a visit. The Venetian’s canals are fun to walk around, and The Parisian’s Eiffel Tower has great views of the city.

If you're looking to avoid casino hotels and unreliable guesthouses, this place comes highly recommended. This hotel has hosted the country's top leaders twice, so its quality and reputation speak for themselves (it's an especially amazing experience if you're traveling with family elders who appreciate historical significance). It's located in Macau's top luxury residential area, offering a quiet environment with excellent views of the Macau Tower. The Liaison Office of the Central People's Government is right nearby, and behind it, up the hill, are some interesting churches. There are also many historical sites in the vicinity, perfect for a city walk. The only downsides are that it's a bit out of the way (wealthy areas tend to be less central) and not as convenient as hotels with casinos. While there's no direct hotel shuttle, public buses are available. If you come by metro, be prepared for a rather steep uphill walk.

In Exceptional Stay at Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16 I recently stayed in the Prestige Suite at Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable — a perfect combination of luxury and relaxation. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better, offering both convenience and a wonderful view of the city. But what truly made my stay memorable was the outstanding service. Mr. Mark from the Front Desk went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless and pleasant, and Alexandra from the Bellhop team greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism every time especially during the we leaving Macau to HK Airport she guided us through the entire way it’s really so helpful and make our trip more smooth. Every detail, from check-in to check-out, reflected Sofitel’s signature hospitality. I left feeling refreshed and genuinely cared for. I highly recommend Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16 to anyone looking for a refined and welcoming stay in Macau.

Booked this last minute with a friend for our trip to Macau. As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, staff came over to help with our luggage and guided us to check-in. The first thing I noticed when we got to the room was how spacious it felt compared to hotels in Hong Kong. It was also very clean, and the bed was super soft and comfortable. Overall, a great experience. I'd definitely book here again if I come back to Macau.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The lobby was absolutely beautiful, and the staff were very professional and welcoming. The room exceeded my expectations — spacious, clean, and elegantly designed. The hotel offers several restaurants, and we tried one of them during our stay. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. You truly experience the luxury you’re looking for here. Another great feature was the shuttle service to various locations, which made getting around so convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Our family stay was an absolute delight from start to finish. Traveling with our two children, aged 5 and 10, we were wonderfully cared for by “Jindy” from the Thai Front Office team. From the moment we checked in, her service was exceptional. She personally arranged for our luggage to be sent to our room, which was a fantastic two-bed room with a direct view of the Eiffel Tower. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a delicious cake and a lovely kid's amenity waiting for us, along with complimentary drinks and snacks in the room. Jindy was incredibly sweet and courteous, providing us with excellent assistance and thorough information throughout our stay. Her attentiveness was a significant reason our family trip was filled with so much happiness. We created wonderful memories, from enjoying a ride on the swings together to savoring the delicious Zhen Dim Sum at the hotel. The convenience of having a Don Don Donki supermarket right there for our shopping needs, along with a variety of other shopping options, was a major plus. The heated swimming pool with its stunning skyline view was the perfect touch, especially considering the very affordable price. For any family planning a trip, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel

Regarding the facilities, they are very comprehensive. There's a refrigerator, and the power outlets support both UK and international standards, so you don't have to worry about not bringing an adapter. However, I still recommend bringing one or two spares. In terms of hygiene, it's clean and tidy. As for the environment, it's excellent. There are plenty of food options nearby; I highly recommend Xinkangji – the food is delicious and great value for money. The hotel is also very close to casinos like Grand Lisboa and Wynn, and not far from attractions like the Ruins of St. Paul's. Regarding the service, the front desk service is excellent; they meticulously explain everything to you.

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the Sands shuttle bus stop. If you head left out of the hotel and cross a small road, you can catch free shuttles to the Venetian, Parisian, and Londoner. Also, if you exit through the back door of the lobby, you'll find yourself right at the Fisherman's Wharf with its various picturesque buildings. The room itself is very spacious, with a king-sized bed (2 meters) and a sofa in the living area. My only complaint is the 'eco-friendly water' system – you have to go out into the hallway to fill up your water bottles, which is quite inconvenient. Despite that, the location really is fantastic!

The hygiene was excellent, and the environment was decent. However, the front desk service was very mediocre. Once you've booked a room, you're expected to follow their rules with no flexibility whatsoever; in other words, they're quite rigid. The hotel's location is superb, right on Beijing Street, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The hotel facilities are pretty standard.

I really love the style of the old Grand Lisboa. Online, people say the old Grand Lisboa's facilities are a bit dated, but there are poems carved into the full-length mirror by the entrance. Online, people say the old Grand Lisboa has poor soundproofing, but you can see the musical fountain right outside the window 🎶⛲. Online, people say the old Grand Lisboa's rooms are quite small, but they have all the necessary amenities. I just love the style of the old Grand Lisboa. It's a pity, though, that the old Grand Lisboa is about to be renovated. I'm afraid I won't be able to see it like this again next time I visit.

The service at the Venetian is world class. Thanks to the brilliant service of Jonathan on reception, we actually booked an additional two nights at the hotel as we were so impressed. Tommy at the front desk was really nice and met all our basic needs. For families with babies, they provide a bottle sterilizer and dryer, bottle warmer, and a baby bathtub, which saves a lot of hassle from having to bring your own. However, be aware that the kids' play area on the third floor downstairs is no longer free to use after check-out. The Kids' Club on the second floor of the Galaxy Hotel allows free play after check-out, but for very young children, the play area downstairs at the Marriott is more suitable.

The room we chose had an excellent view, and with the current Alice in Wonderland theme, the garden design was truly fantastic. The only thing that bothered me the most was the poor soundproofing. You could clearly hear people talking as they passed by in the corridor, which negatively impacted my sleep quality. The hotel offers many dining options, and most of the staff were quite friendly. However, on the day we checked out and needed to take the shuttle bus, the attitude of one staff member was so bad that I really wanted to file a complaint. This experience alone is probably why I won't be staying here again. After all, there are so many other choices available.

My original plan was to book the Treasure Island Hotel, but it was fully booked. I was then pleasantly surprised to find that Resorts World Hotel shares the same location and many facilities with the Treasure Island Hotel, as they are part of the same complex. This unexpected discovery not only solved my accommodation problem but also elevated my stay experience: I could appreciate the distinct decor of Resorts World Hotel while still enjoying the convenience of Treasure Island Hotel's location. It's a triple delight for culture lovers, shopaholics, and hotel enthusiasts! You can easily visit stunning Macau landmarks such as Macau Tower and Penha Hill. From the Gongbei border, reaching the hotel is super convenient: simply take the free hotel shuttle bus or public bus 3/3X to 'Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro'. Unacceptable Attitude from Front Desk and Lobby Security My morning flight landed in Hong Kong, and after picking up my husband (who was utterly exhausted from his flight from Italy), we arrived in Macau around 11 AM. We immediately went to the front desk to inquire about an early check-in, as we were both extremely tired. Despite having called Ctrip beforehand (whose customer service was excellent and who confirmed they would arrange an early check-in if a room was available), the hotel flatly refused, insisting check-in was strictly at 3 PM. We were forced to wait in the lobby. Exhausted, we eventually dozed off. A security guard then approached and *kicked our chair*, yelling loudly, ”Get up! Get up! Hey! Hey!” It was incredibly humiliating and made us feel like refugees. This wasn't a one-off incident either. Unable to endure this treatment, I finally spoke to the lobby manager. His attitude and prompt action, however, were commendable. He immediately intervened with the front desk, and within half an hour, we were finally able to check into our room. This entire experience was truly appalling and utterly disheartening.

This was my first time encountering a situation where, despite booking half a month in advance, the hotel claimed they hadn't received our reservation. We, a group of six including an 80-year-old and children, had to wait for a long time. Eventually, we called Trip.com ourselves, and they confirmed that the rooms had indeed been reserved. If they hadn't received the order, how could the rooms have been held? Secondly, the hotel rooms had a strong, lingering smell similar to smoke, even detectable in the hallways. When I asked the front desk staff, they said guests are informed about fines for smoking in rooms, but once the door is closed, there's nothing more they can do. This really shows a lack of hotel management. I thought the smell would dissipate, but it was completely pervasive. Thirdly, we were given vouchers for free egg tarts, but weren't informed they were only valid for that day. I'm curious why they weren't valid for the entire duration of our stay? Fourth, I booked the rooms half a month in advance, yet on the day of check-in, the price for a single room was 600 RMB cheaper than what I paid. For two rooms over two days, that's a difference of 2400 RMB. Booking early during the National Day holiday meant I got fleeced. It truly lives up to its reputation as a 'gambling city' – even the room prices are like a gamble. Aside from these issues, the service attitude was decent, and the rooms were quite spacious.

This hotel is right next to the Jai  Alai Hotel. From Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, it only takes a few minutes to walk here, so not having a good view isn't a big deal—it's really convenient. Although they're currently renovating the exterior, and it can be a bit noisy during the day because they’re working next door, it’s not a problem if you’re out exploring during the day. Also, this hotel has an indoor pool. It's not huge, but you don't have to worry about the weather affecting it, which is a nice bonus! Another thing is that this hotel is very close to the Racing Museum, making it super convenient to visit. It's suitable for both adults and kids, so it's definitely worth a trip!

This hotel stay was absolutely perfect, and a few details really stood out. The hardware facilities are impeccable: the bedding in the room was comfortable, the furniture had a premium feel, and the bathroom fixtures and appliances were all new, easy to use, and felt very reliable. You can clearly tell they invested a lot in their amenities. The hygiene was the biggest highlight – not only was everything sparkling clean on the surface, but even easily overlooked spots like under the bed, corners, and crevices in the vanity were spotless. The cups and towels felt thoroughly sanitized, which made the stay feel incredibly reassuring. The service was heartwarming; the staff weren't just robotically polite, but genuinely enthusiastic. They proactively helped with luggage, remembered guest preferences, and immediately found solutions when issues arose. Every detail showed true dedication, making you feel as comfortable as if you were at home. A hotel with such solid amenities, impeccable hygiene, and warm service definitely deserves repeat visits. It adds value to any trip, whether for business or leisure.

This hotel is absolutely outstanding! I arrived at 9 AM because I had a class, and the front desk staff, Maggle, along with her manager, warmly welcomed me and proactively helped me arrange luggage storage. The concierge even offered us bottled water to help us cool down. By noon, the manager called me to let me know the room was ready. They were considerate enough to call because they worried I might need an afternoon nap, letting me know I could check in anytime. During my stay, when I returned to the hotel with my luggage, the concierge noticed and immediately helped me carry it to the elevator. The room itself was clean, tidy, and well-organized, truly deserving of its five-star rating in Macau. Due to my studies, I've lived in various hotels across Macau for four years, and I'm even studying hotel management here, so I know a thing or two about the industry. To be frank, Macau hotels aren't short on luxurious facilities, but they often lack the warm, personalized service this hotel provides. Their service isn't forced; it just genuinely makes guests feel cared for. I rarely write such a long review, but I was genuinely touched by the staff at this hotel. Thank you! This will definitely be my first choice for accommodation on the main island going forward.

This mid-range hotel is overall very good. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the towels are changed daily, making them very comfortable to use. Although the hotel's hardware facilities are somewhat outdated, the cost-performance ratio is quite reasonable, and the accommodation experience is satisfying. Additionally, the hotel's location is ideal, with convenient transportation and complete surrounding facilities. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip.

Galaxy is really great for families with kids. The environment is excellent, and the room details and amenities are top-notch. They provide Bulgari toiletries, and the toothbrushes, razors, and slippers are all of high quality and very comfortable. The front desk staff is very professional and responsive to requests. I booked the room last minute for my child's birthday and only asked upon check-in if they could decorate the room a bit. They immediately handled it for me and even gave me Mid-Autumn Festival chocolate desserts. The hotel's kids' club has a great environment and plenty of activities, and the Grand Resort Deck is fun and incredibly photogenic—highly recommended! There are also many delicious dining options downstairs, making it super convenient to stay here with great food and shopping.

Amazing service and quality. The old Nanyang-style decor is incredibly well-maintained, exuding a luxurious feel with its rich textures. The most delightful hardware surprise was a golden table lamp, casting a soft glow over the view, accompanied by a pot of tea. My friend was very interested in the vanilla flavor of the welcome tea. A kind lady at the front desk, wearing glasses (I was in a hurry and forgot to ask her name, would love to know!), specifically wrote a note offering to send another pot. This truly showcases the high-quality, human-centered service characteristic of MO.

The hotel service was truly exceptional and attentive. A special mention goes to the lady at the front desk who handled our check-in; she was incredibly warm and thorough. Our room featured intelligent facilities, was spotlessly clean, and every corner showcased meticulous attention to detail. The luxurious and opulent decor gave it a truly grand feel. This is undoubtedly the best hotel in Macau, and we had an incredibly satisfying stay. We will certainly return given the opportunity.

My first stay at the Four Seasons. It was an excellent experience. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and even upgraded my bed type. I had noted it was for a birthday celebration, and shortly after arriving in the room, they sent up towels folded into candle shapes. While there wasn't any welcome fruit, we did receive some Jizai Bing (chicken biscuits) and a small birthday cake. The room was spotless; I didn't notice any dirty spots. RMB can be used for the security deposit. The swimming pool was fantastic – very photogenic and beautiful. Fresh fruit was available, and I heard there was Haagen-Dazs ice cream, though I didn't manage to get any myself.

The Peninsula is the most conveniently located hotel! Right next door to Yaohan, its location makes dining, shopping, and transportation incredibly easy. There are shops all along both sides of the street as soon as you step out, and it’s a short walk to the pedestrian street. You won't have to worry about finding late-night snacks if you get hungry! There's also a shuttle bus right outside the hotel that goes to City of Dreams or Galaxy, which is super convenient!

This was my second stay, and overall it was pretty good. However, an issue cropped up during check-out on the last day, which really soured the experience, and it was something that absolutely shouldn't have happened. A word of caution to everyone: when checking out and retrieving your deposit, especially if you paid via Alipay, WeChat Pay, or card, make sure to carefully verify that you've received the full amount. Luckily, the issue was eventually resolved without further problems.

Service: Extremely satisfied. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and proactively informed us that we could see fireworks directly from our room at night. Due to an urgent work matter, I needed to extend my check-out, and after asking housekeeping, I was told we could stay until 12 PM free of charge. They also provided a universal power adapter for free. Facilities: Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel's facilities. The *parking*, though, hahahaha, was quite inconvenient. But we took taxis everywhere anyway, so it didn't really matter to us. We went to the pool at night, around 9 PM, and it was completely empty – absolutely fantastic.

Happy to get upgraded to a suite. Appreciate the customer service of their staff very much! They were proactive to offer help and reacted fast to solve any problems arise. They would also go an extra step to make their customers satisfied and happy. Overall cleanliness is good. Bed is comfy. Gym room and indoor swimming pool is nice too. The only drawback is the outdoor swimming pool not opened due to construction which we didn’t know ahead. But it was still a very pleasant stay. Big thanks to the staff:)

The room was well-equipped and comfortable, offering excellent value for money. It had a unique Macau retro vibe, with facilities that felt a bit aged, possibly due to Macau's climate. Initially, sleeping under the covers felt a bit odd, in a way I can't quite describe. The hotel is quite close to the ferry terminal; it was very convenient to check in here after taking a boat from Hong Kong, only about a 10-minute taxi ride away, making travel easy. The breakfast was quite rich and varied. Overall, the experience was very good. The room service staff, both the auntie and the young man, were very polite. However, a few of the front desk staff could use some improvement; their communication wasn't very tactful. Management and training should be enhanced.

The hotel boasts an excellent, refined location. **Location:** Situated right in the city center, it's directly across from the New Yaohan department store. The iconic Senado Square is just a 10-minute walk away, and further on you'll find the Ruins of St. Paul's. **Facilities:** All power outlets in the room are compatible with Chinese plugs, which is incredibly convenient for mainland guests needing to charge their electronics (see photo 4). **Dining:** There's a restaurant on the second floor of the hotel, and guests receive a special discount (see photo 6). **Other:** The room includes a bathtub but no separate shower stall.

We stayed in the hotel's annex building, in a non-smoking room. The room itself was newly decorated, stylish, spacious, and comfortable. There were plenty of conveniently placed power outlets, and the lighting was very thoughtful; it gradually brightened instead of instantly turning on, which was easy on the eyes. There was no smell of smoke in the room, and it was cleaned very thoroughly. The bedding and pillows were soft and comfortable, and the service was excellent. My only minor regret was that on the first night, the duvet and pillows still had a slight smell of smoke. As I'm very sensitive to smoke, it made it hard to sleep, but after spraying some perfume, I slept soundly for the next two nights. Overall, I was very satisfied.
