During holidays, the venue is too crowded, and you have to exchange for a ticket upon arrival. It would be much more convenient to enter directly using a QR code.

A 3+2 hour skiing experience offers excellent value for money, but for beginners, 3 hours is more than enough.

The hotel's location is super convenient, the service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and quiet with powerful air conditioning. For the Canton Fair, there are three free shuttle services in the morning. It's also right near the Line 1 subway station (the last stop). Across the street, you'll find many well-known restaurant chains, and there are bars and late-night (Japanese) food options nearby. The hotel breakfast is also quite good. Overall, it's a great choice whether you're traveling for business or leisure. Also, Ms. Mousse was incredibly patient and thoughtful in helping me find and send back important documents. Highly recommend staying here.

This was my second stay here, and they proactively upgraded me to a suite. The bedroom was spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows and a great view outside. The bed was very comfortable. Even though it's in the bustling Tianhe area, it was surprisingly quiet. The restaurant environment was also nice, with a trendy, 'influencer-esque' vibe. It's convenient for dining and shopping nearby; you can walk to Zhengjia Plaza and Taikoo Hui within 10 minutes. They also have family rooms, so I might consider bringing my kids here for a stay during the summer vacation.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Asia International Hotel. I was extremely satisfied with the overall experience. The breakfast was extensive and offered a wide variety of options, all while enjoying a beautiful panoramic view, which made the mornings even more special. The swimming pool was also a great addition—clean, relaxing, and perfect to unwind after a busy day. What stood out most was the staff. They were very friendly and helpful, and communication in English was excellent, which made everything easy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

The hotel's front desk service was excellent and very thoughtful. They even gave a small souvenir to our child when we checked out. The room was tidy and well-equipped. The lobby also thoughtfully provided cookies, coffee, and tea bags. There was plenty of parking, and since our car had temporary plates, they even called someone to open the gate for us. The service response was very quick.

The hotel's location is great, and the decor is really on point. The hygiene and environment are spotless, and the overall service is excellent. The mini-fridge was well-stocked with drinks. The only downside was breakfast. Many tables weren't set with cutlery. Guests would get their food and then have to wait for chopsticks, spoons, and forks – I've never encountered this before. This issue continued throughout the meal. I hope the restaurant pays more attention to this crucial detail, especially when it's busy and turning over tables for breakfast.

Came to Tianhe Sports Center for Xue Zhiqian's concert and did some sightseeing. Booked a deluxe twin room a few days in advance. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel thoughtfully arranged a room with a view of the Sports Center. Although the self-service breakfast was busy, the dining order was well-maintained. The front desk staff were all very warm and friendly. My daughter is already looking forward to staying here again next time! 😊

My experience at the hotel started off on a bad note right from the moment I arrived. Firstly, my luggage was in the trunk, and I was struggling to get it out by myself. A hotel staff member was standing right next to me, holding someone else's bags, just waiting – he didn't offer to help me at all. While I was still struggling with my luggage, the staff member told me not to close the car trunk. I didn't quite understand him at first, so I closed it as usual. He then actually made a 'tsk' sound in annoyance. Apparently, the reason he was just standing there waiting was because the guests whose luggage he was holding had booked the same car I was getting out of, and he had intended to put their bags straight in. But because I closed the door, he had to open it again, which clearly irritated him. Then, in the lobby, I was focused on filling out some paperwork with my head down and inadvertently walked to the side. The manager politely informed me that I needed to join the queue, which I completely understood. However, he spoke to me while I was concentrating, startling me, which caused the document I was on the verge of finishing to be lost, and I had to start all over again. Finally, the front desk staff had a good attitude. But even though I arrived at nearly 1 PM on a Monday, a weekday, the hotel had no rooms available for check-in. I understand I was an hour earlier than the official check-in time, but I've stayed at so many hotels before – The Ritz-Carlton, Niccolo, Hyatt, Hilton – and I've never encountered a situation on a weekday at this time where there were no rooms available. It completely disrupted my plans; my phone and laptop were both dead, and I had to wait in the lobby, which was very disappointing. While I was sitting on the sofa in the lobby, a man even asked me for food. I was genuinely shocked that someone like that could gain entry to the main lobby. To add to that: On my first night, I discovered that the electric blind in the bathroom for the bathtub was broken and could only be pulled down partway. I was too tired to bother fixing it and just wanted to sleep when suddenly the faucet started dripping… The next morning, when I went to blow-dry my hair in the bathroom, the outlet had no power, so I couldn't use the hairdryer either…

I chose the veteran Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel because of its bustling commercial surroundings and convenient transportation. It's just a short bus ride to Guangzhou Wanguo Outlets, and other attractions are also easily accessible! I highly recommend trying the food at Da Ge Restaurant when you're in Guangzhou. Coincidentally, I visited on March 8th, and the hotel even warmly presented me with a rose! Thanks to the front desk, they arranged for us to stay on a non-smoking floor, which we greatly appreciated! The room was clean and tidy, very nice!

The service at the 30th-floor revolving restaurant was absolutely horrendous, from the female manager down to the female staff. I really don't even want to talk about them; they seriously need a complete overhaul! (The male staff were fine, constantly working hard.) In these tough times for finding a job, while customers might not be 'gods,' they at least contribute to your employment. I can't believe the Garden Hotel has come to this. On the other hand, the manager of room service was excellent. He was very professional and highly capable at coordinating and getting things done. When I checked into room 2122, there were cookie crumbs on the table. The floor attendant notified the supervisor, who, with great coordination skills, immediately helped me switch to a clean room on the same floor. As someone who frequently stays at five-star hotels, I must commend this young man. 👍

I chose this hotel because I wanted something convenient for my trip and a reliable brand, so I picked Crowne Plaza. To my surprise, it turned out to be an amazing experience! Perhaps because we had to wait a bit longer, the lovely Umi upgraded our room to the 63rd floor and offered a complimentary breakfast for one day. The view from the room was incredible, and we even got to watch fireworks from inside – absolutely fantastic 👍🏻. All in all, this hotel truly goes the extra mile for its guests, paying attention to every detail. It's definitely worth another visit.

For my trip to Guangzhou, I chose two hotels, each with its own advantages. The Ritz's location is absolutely superb! Staying in a tower-view room, you get breathtaking panoramic views of Canton Tower and the Pearl River at night. The lobby staff at the Ritz are incredibly professional, treating guests with warmth and enthusiasm. The room, though showing its age a bit, is clearly very well-maintained. It was clean and tidy. During my stay, I developed a bit of a cough, and when I called the front desk to ask for more drinking water, they promptly delivered an entire case. I'm very grateful for that! The hotel's breakfast restaurant also has a bit of an old-fashioned charm. Since it was Chinese New Year, there were a lot of guests, but everything was very orderly. While the breakfast offerings weren't particularly refined, they were perfectly adequate. The hotel is also conveniently located right next to the Guangdong Provincial Museum and Guangzhou Library, making it a highly recommended place to stay.

High floor with great views. My child really wanted a high floor, but only an end room was available, which made me a bit worried. However, the room was incredibly spacious with two large windows offering fantastic views. The hotel's cloud memory foam pillows were also very comfortable, and the room didn't feel damp or have any strange smells. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, though it could get quite busy during peak hours. Perhaps because it was a high floor, I could hear car horns beeping persistently downstairs during morning rush hour. At night, I could also hear noise from the bar below.

The shuttle service was very efficient and convenient. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and truly matched the photos, which we really appreciated. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. One small thing to note for future guests is that about photo shoots three photos are free, and any extra digital photos cost 50 yuan each. Our photographer was very enthusiastic and professional. Everything was excellent, and I would still gladly give this hotel five stars.

I have to say, the service at Bishuiwan is truly excellent! Throughout my stay, staff members were constantly offering drinks like Coke, luo han guo tea, or warm water, ensuring everyone stayed hydrated. While relaxing on a lounge chair, I even got a complimentary cucumber facial. Lying there with a mask on, basking in the warm sunshine, was so delightful I didn't want to move! Although the hot spring area doesn't have an overwhelming number of pools and is of moderate size, it really shines in its clean and elegant environment. Plus, the exclusive areas for in-house guests made the overall experience feel even more peaceful. Overall, this hot spring trip with the kids was absolutely perfect! The attentive service and comfortable hot spring experience left a wonderful impression. It was a beautiful experience *͈ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈ෆ✌🏻!

This time, the experience at Conghua Zhuosidao Hot Spring Resort Hotel really made me want to recommend it like crazy! Originally, I booked a parent-child room, but as soon as I arrived at the front desk, Xiao Zhu enthusiastically helped us upgrade the room for free! I instantly felt like I had won the prize. The room was 40 square meters larger than before, and outside the balcony was the green mountain view and hot spring view. This wave of operations directly maximized the vacation experience! Room: The upgraded room space is super large! The room design is simple Chinese style, with toy dolls, full floor-to-ceiling windows and landscape balconies. Opposite is the mountain forest. In the morning, you can hear birds singing when you open the window. It feels like living in a natural oxygen bar. Hot Spring: The room is large, with 2 large and 1 small, and unlimited outdoor hot springs. You don’t want to get up. The public hot spring area has 32 pools, rose pools, rafting pools, sauna rooms... I want to try each one! Parents with children don’t have to worry at all. The children’s water park and infinity pool are enough for children to play all day. Xiao Zhu also kindly reminded us that the hot spring area closes at 10 pm, so don't get carried away in the hot springs haha~ Food and Drink: Breakfast can get full marks The buffet breakfast has many varieties, and the freshly cooked shredded pork noodles, sausages, and porridge are all very authentic, and the coffee is freshly ground! Afternoon tea includes: lemon tea, desserts, and Starbucks coffee. There are free fruits in the room at night, and it is super satisfying to eat an apple after the hot springs. Service: Detail control ecstasy In addition to the room upgrade, the hotel service is really considerate to the bones. You can tell what you need and it can basically be met! The open-air parking lot is also equipped with charging piles, which is very friendly to new energy vehicle owners. When checking out, Xiao Zhu also recommended the nearby Liuxi River Forest Park, saying that you can try the villa room type next time you come, and it must be super suitable to bring your parents. In short, from the environment to the service, there is nothing wrong, especially the ”hidden benefits” of Xiao Zhu at the front desk, which directly upgraded this short trip to VIP treatment! Next time, I must bring my family to experience the mountain spring villa. It is said that the private pool in the yard is even more amazing~

Our stay in the triple room at the Guangzhou Biquan Air Hot Spring Hotel was absolutely fantastic! 👍 The room was spacious and bright, with elegant and cozy decor. The three beds were soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. The room was also equipped with complete and practical facilities, all spotlessly clean. The hotel's hot spring was definitely a highlight, offering a rich variety of pools with perfect water temperatures. Soaking in the hot springs felt like all my fatigue just melted away. The surrounding scenery was beautiful too; it was incredibly relaxing to enjoy the views while soaking. The hotel's service also deserves high praise. The staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. Whether it was checking in or resolving other issues, they were very efficient. I will definitely choose this place again next time!

The staff were polite and courteous. The room wasn't very big, but for the price, it was pretty good. It was clean and hygienic, though the facilities felt a bit outdated, like they were from many years ago. However, there were no strange odors in the room. Overall, it was decent for the price. The transportation was very convenient, right on Huanshi East Road. There are also plenty of great food and drink options nearby, all within easy walking distance. Zhixin Middle School, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, and Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center are all about a ten-minute walk away. The Orange Hotel is just across the street, and there's a Starbucks right next door.

The room was excellent, and the front desk service was great too! I booked this room last minute, and they arranged a fantastic scenic room for me with a wonderful city view. The breakfast was very rich, with congee, fruits, oatmeal, yogurt, and pastries, all tasting great and not too sweet. The service staff were also very helpful and friendly. I also enjoyed the hotel's 29th-floor swimming pool – it was lovely, not crowded at all, and the water temperature was just perfect. Overall, my stay at the hotel was incredibly comfortable. I will definitely choose Guangzhou Hotel again next time. Thank you, hotel!

The hotel is as we remembered - still as classy and elegant, with its stunning lobby and beautifully manicured central courtyard garden. The suite we were upgraded to has been recently renovated to a high standard and there are signs that other parts of the hotel are undergoing refurbishment too (for example, work on the roof) which is a good sign of regular maintenance. A pity though that the breakfast, whilst still brimming with choice and variety, has lost some of its quality. Breakfast at the hotel was, during our last visit, a serene experience we anticipated every morning. On our current revisit, the breakfast room has become chaotic and noisy like a railway terminal, as the hotel appears to gear increasingly towards catering for large conference groups. Tables, hitherto confined to the actual breakfast room and the lovely tree-arbored terrace overlooking the fountains and ponds, have now spilled over into the colonnaded corridors of the garden, ruining both the ambience and lowering the tenor of what used to be an elegant ritual. The calibre of the hotel guests seems to have deteriorated as well, which is a pity for this iconic, historic hotel.

We've been staying at this hotel for over ten years, so it's full of memories for us. It's also a great spot for a city staycation, and the best value-for-money hotel near Huacheng Square. This long weekend was super busy, with queues for both breakfast and the executive lounge, but honestly, it didn't bother us. It felt like a nostalgic glimpse of a booming economy, which was a nice feeling... Oh, and the housekeeping staff were incredibly nice!

When checking in at the executive lounge, the front desk forgot to return my ID. For breakfast, I ordered Eggs Benedict, but the kitchen missed it. After a reminder, they made another one without spinach. The French toast was crispy and delicious. The orange peel red bean paste in the lounge was smooth and sweet. The traffic downstairs was quite congested, and the constant flow of cars made it feel a bit cramped. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the Mandarin's quality.

The ambiance here is truly fantastic. From the entrance and the lobby to the elevator decor, everything was an instant eye-catcher, completely different from any hotel I've stayed in before, offering a fresh experience. The room had a remarkably high ceiling, and opening the window instantly improved the view. I was surprised that my basic room type offered a view of the Canton Tower and two financial centers – that was a huge bonus. As for the facilities, the hotel is very new and has a subtle, pleasant scent that I really liked. The bedding was unexpectedly comfortable; I slept soundly until morning, and somehow, after waking up around 9 AM, I fell back asleep until past 1 PM, thanks to the late check-out. The highlight for me was the toiletries – they had a mild ginger scent and left me feeling incredibly clean and refreshed, unlike some hotels where the products feel like they never rinse off properly. Regarding the service, the concierge added me on WeChat early on to ask about my preferences and requirements, and my estimated check-in time. They notified me as soon as the room was ready. Upon checking in, I was greeted by a large platter of welcome fruits and desserts – I’ve never seen such a generous welcome fruit spread. Throughout my stay, any requests I had were quickly met, and I even received weather and temperature updates. The overall experience was genuinely impressive, making this my top choice for future stays. Although there were a few minor issues, they were promptly resolved when brought to attention, and I'm confident the hotel will continue to improve. I look forward to my next stay and truly felt the service and quality of a sister hotel to the Burj Al Arab.

This is a well-established five-star hotel in a bustling area, offering excellent service, quality, and atmosphere. Its prime location is a major plus, with various bus lines and Metro Line 2 right outside, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Yesterday morning, for instance, it only took 20 minutes and four metro stops from the hotel to Haizhu Square (Exit F) to catch the Guangzhou-Huizhou bus, making the trip to Shuangyue Bay in Huizhou super easy. The hotel's food street also has good quality options; I recommend the intangible cultural heritage Zhusheng Noodles. On the first floor, there are several coffee shops, dessert places, and fast food joints that are convenient and affordable. The sky garden and swimming pool on the fourth floor offer a pleasant environment and are definitely worth checking out.

The room view was impeccable, and the facilities were up to standard. Complaint 1: The parking lot is shared with K11, and it's very narrow and messy. It took me ages to find the hotel entrance, and there was no one to guide me, not even at the hotel entrance. Complaint 2: The hotel corridors are a bit creepy, winding and dimly lit. Complaint 3: At 11 PM, just as I was about to fall asleep, I was startled awake by the sound of a door closing next door. At 2 AM, I was woken up by noise in the hallway. At 4 AM, I was startled awake by some rustling sound outside my door... In short, the soundproofing is terrible. Complaint 4: The pillows were as soft as clouds, offering no support whatsoever. I had to pile four of them up to use.

This time in Guangzhou, I specifically chose the Pullman hotel, and what I was most satisfied with was its location and convenient transportation! 📍 **Excellent Location, Super Convenient for Boarding**: The hotel's location is very easy to find, whether coming from the city center or going to the airport, it's particularly smooth. If you're on a business trip or catching an early flight, this is definitely the top choice! A taxi to the airport gets you there quickly, and the hotel also offers **thoughtful shuttle service**, which is punctual and hassle-free. You don't have to worry about traffic jams causing you to miss your flight, which I really loved! 🚗 **Thoughtful Shuttle Service**: Besides the convenient airport access, the hotel's shuttle service to and from the terminal is very punctual. The driver's skills are excellent, and they proactively help with luggage, which deserves a thumbs-up. 💁 **Warm and Efficient Front Desk Service**: The front desk staff were very friendly during check-in. Seeing I had a lot of luggage, they proactively explained the route to the airport and the shuttle times, very patiently and meticulously, which made me feel very welcome. 🍳 **Good Restaurant Offerings**: The breakfast selection is quite rich. Eating a full meal before heading out makes you feel energized! The restaurant environment is also very clean. 🛏️ **Comfortable and Quiet Environment**: Although the transportation is convenient, the room is very quiet, with good soundproofing, and the bedding is comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. In summary, if you value convenient transportation, especially needing easy access to the airport for boarding, choosing Pullman is the right decision!

This was an absolutely unforgettable and flawless stay! Every single staff member demonstrated top-tier hospitality and incredible warmth, making me feel completely at home from the very beginning. A massive thank you to Icy and Sherry at the Front Desk. They attentively listened to my preferences and swiftly arranged a seamless room change. The upgraded room was not only wonderfully spacious but also featured absolutely breathtaking panoramic views. Staying there was a pure delight! The wellness experience was definitely another major highlight of the trip. I am so grateful to Hannah at the Spa; her genuine and engaging introduction is exactly what convinced me to treat myself to a spa session. I also want to thank Karina for her incredibly detailed walkthrough of the fully equipped gym and steam room, which made me feel completely comfortable enjoying the facilities. Furthermore, my therapist, Abby, was exceptionally professional—her expert techniques provided deep healing and total relaxation during the treatment. The evening at the Bar was equally impeccable! A special shout-out to Lawrence, who went out of his way to secure a fantastic seat and handle my booking perfectly. He paid close attention to my needs and was a brilliant conversationalist, which allowed me to thoroughly enjoy a deeply relaxing and delightful time at the bar. I highly recommend the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. It is a rare, ultra-attentive, and truly immersive luxury experience. I will undoubtedly be returning on my next visit to Guangzhou!

This is my fourth time staying here, and this time I brought my family. They wanted to visit Guangzhou, experience a 'reverse' ***** New Year, and soak in the Lingnan region's festive atmosphere. Our main goal was Chimelong, but hotels near Chimelong are incredibly expensive per night. Plus, I didn't want to put them in a place with a bad environment. Since I'd already stayed here three times and consider myself a regular, and the price for a night here was still cheaper than any hotel near Chimelong, I chose to stay here again. My family was very satisfied and loved the room's decor and the living environment. The best part is the magnificent Pearl River view, and it's super convenient to get around by subway. What's more, the staff's character and service are consistently excellent. Chatting with them in Cantonese feels very welcoming, and the breakfast offers everything you could want. It's truly a cool and fantastic accommodation experience! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance. Finally, I wish the hotel continued prosperity, thriving business, and a blossoming future! 👏👍🤝🌹

Good review for Jinli Hotel (Guangzhou East Railway Station Branch). It was very busy at night, and there was only one person, so checking in was quite inconvenient. This could be improved. My stay at Jinli Hotel this time exceeded my expectations! The location is excellent, right near Guangzhou East Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away, making travel incredibly convenient. It's also very friendly for self-drivers, with free and ample parking, and smooth entry and exit. The rooms and public areas were very clean, and the facilities were well-maintained, with no strange odors or stains. The bedding and bathroom facilities were quite new, making for a reassuring stay. The only minor regret is that the mattress was a bit firm; those used to softer beds might need some time to adjust. The front desk service was enthusiastic and efficient, and they responded promptly. It offers great value for money, suitable for business trips and transit stays. Highly recommended for those driving or catching a train!

What to Prepare for a Trip to China?

  • Visa & Entry Tips China’s 240-hour visa-free transit policy now covers 54 countries, incl. the US, UK, Canada, and Brazil, allowing up to 10 days during layovers. Learn more about China Entry Tips to land in China easily.
  • Getting Connected VPNs are vital for accessing Google, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc in China. Set one up before arriving. China eSIMs are the easiest option for data and bypassing restrictions. Pocket Wi-Fi devices work best for group but are pricier and require pickup/return.
  • Money Exchange & Tax Refunds Exchange money in China banks (better rates than airports). ATMs accept foreign cards, but notify your bank first. For tax refunds, spend over ¥500 at stores with a "Tax-Free" sign. Keep receipts and get forms stamped at customs before departure.

Must-Have Apps in China

  • China Payment Apps Forget cash. Chinese use Alipay (I like it better) or WeChat Pay to pay for everything in China. Scan a QR code at noodle stalls, metros, even temples. Link your foreign Visa/Mastercard before landing.
  • China Map Apps Amap (Gaode Map) & Baidu Map (limited English) is what locals use, with real-time navigation, metro/bus routes, and traffic updates. Apple Maps does a good job too if you're already an IOS user.
  • China Transport Apps Street taxis are cheap, but drivers rarely speak English. Use China Taxi App like DiDi (China’s Uber)—set your destination in English, pay by Alipay.
  • China Travel Apps 15+ China trips taught me: Use Trip.com. It's the best English app for booking China trains/flights/hotels + finds Trip.com deals.
  • China Dating Apps Locals use Tantan (China’s Tinder) and Momo. WeChat’s “People Nearby” works too, but expect language barriers unless your Mandarin’s decent.
  • China Food App Use Meituan (also helps find nearby restaurants) or Ele.me for food delivery—both have English mode. No English menu in restaurants? Scan the QR with Alipay's translator.
