Was pleasantly surprised by our stay at this hotel. The room was a good size and the next was very comfortable. The tv had foxtel and a tonne of movies which was amazing since it was quite stormy outside. A nice 30 min walk to some nice waterfront cafes and some fast food options even closer! Parking was easy. And the room smelled really nice. A bit basic on hotel amenities but we were more than comfortable for a night.

An employee at the front desk was a bit old and very cute. He was afraid that my English was not very good, so he took out the translation software and said to me: Call me if I have anything. It's just that the microwave is placed so high that it's inconvenient to heat things. You have to climb on a chair to get them. The sunset at the tanks, a few minutes' drive from the hotel, is beautiful. I also saw dolphins at One Mile Beach in the morning.

Booked this property for a business trip and the location is fantastic - walk to everything, however the most important thing for myself & my husband was the fact that they accepted out little fur baby (schoodle) we won't stay anywhere, where she is not allowed - so will definitely remember this accommodation, and recommend to others! The room was spacious, and everything was provided - body wash, shampoo & conditioner, body moisturiser - which all smelt devine! if the weather had been a little warmer we would have had a dip in the sparkling pool too!

Very nice hotel, highly recommended superior sea view room! Located on the 7th to 10th floors of the hotel, the 360-degree balcony can see the river, sea and city views from different angles. The location of the hotel is also very good, walking to the pier, restaurants, beach. The child likes it very much. The only drawback is that the swimming pool is not heated and there is no spa! If you go in winter, you can't swim in the water!

The motel was in walking distance to the beach and a couple of cafes, but longer to other places for dinner etc. There is a shopping centre with supermarkets about 5 mins drive away. The rooms are very comfortable and look renovated, but the bedroom window is over the fence to a noisy petrol station, which starts business at 5:00am when the lights come on. There is no longer a pool at the motel and the spa in the room is still there but not usable. Value for money

Although the room is not big, it is fully equipped, a separate bedroom, and a small bedroom with a single bed (a pair of bunk beds, equivalent to 4 children at the same time, it is quite friendly for children's families), but I still regret not choosing an apartment by the lake. The lake feels more open and less disturbed. We arrived at about 5 o'clock. After we got the key, we wanted to ask a question at the front desk. We found that it was closed. We remembered that the other party called my name accurately when we checked in. The child said that we were the last one. After giving the key, the other party got off work. We stayed on Thursday, but the occupancy rate was quite high. The couple next to it felt like they were in their 60s and dragged the speedboat. On the day we arrived, we also saw a bunch of young people playing water projects there. The standard we chose before was the hotel. I chose a holiday apartment during this trip. Also very good experience, we made our own breakfast and dinner, a good stop on the way to the Gold Coast or back to Sydney

It is only a 5 minute bush walk to stunning Blackhead Beach or 10 minutes through a sub-tropical rainforest to the shops. Once you've arrived there's no need to get in your car til you're ready to go home.The spaceThis is a much loved beach house & a great place to unwind, get active & reconnect with yourself & your family. There are ocean baths, beach walking & exploring to do with a patrolled swimming beach (school holidays). We are dog friendly on request, please let us know how many & what breeds so we can confirm if this will work, we ask dogs be kept off inside furniture & ask guests to pick up any dog poop in the yard. There is a one-off pet fee of $25. It's a dog friendly beach but have your leads with you for certain area's. , The fencing is about 1.2 metres high so best for small dogs and the neighbours have dogs too, so one's that don't get too barky would be welcome.Frida's is close to the beach and catches a great ocean breeze, there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living area, and we've got ducted air-conditioning.There is good mobile coverage from Telstra & Optus, other providers are variable.The bathroom has a shower over its clawfoot bath, it’s a little curvy on the bottom and maybe unstable for some, we have a great ensuite shower as well & an outdoor shower with hot and cold.We are LGBTIQ friendly and this is the perfect honeymoon venue!Frida's has a wrap around verandah on two sides, it's like a room outside and you can move with the sun or hide in the shade. Awesome motel in Tuncurry, if you are looking for a clean condo, central motel then don’t drive past South Pacific Palms Motel. The rooms, especially the poolside rooms are excellent, a free continental breakfast buffet is included (includes croissants, pastries,fresh fruit, raisin toast etc) The host are lovely and very helpful. We decided to stay an extra night and despite being heavily booked they went out of their way to accommodate us. This has now become our go to motel in Tuncurry

An employee at the front desk was a bit old and very cute. He was afraid that my English was not very good, so he took out the translation software and said to me: Call me if I have anything. It's just that the microwave is placed so high that it's inconvenient to heat things. You have to climb on a chair to get them. The sunset at the tanks, a few minutes' drive from the hotel, is beautiful. I also saw dolphins at One Mile Beach in the morning.

Very nice hotel, highly recommended superior sea view room! Located on the 7th to 10th floors of the hotel, the 360-degree balcony can see the river, sea and city views from different angles. The location of the hotel is also very good, walking to the pier, restaurants, beach. The child likes it very much. The only drawback is that the swimming pool is not heated and there is no spa! If you go in winter, you can't swim in the water!

Although the room is not big, it is fully equipped, a separate bedroom, and a small bedroom with a single bed (a pair of bunk beds, equivalent to 4 children at the same time, it is quite friendly for children's families), but I still regret not choosing an apartment by the lake. The lake feels more open and less disturbed. We arrived at about 5 o'clock. After we got the key, we wanted to ask a question at the front desk. We found that it was closed. We remembered that the other party called my name accurately when we checked in. The child said that we were the last one. After giving the key, the other party got off work. We stayed on Thursday, but the occupancy rate was quite high. The couple next to it felt like they were in their 60s and dragged the speedboat. On the day we arrived, we also saw a bunch of young people playing water projects there. The standard we chose before was the hotel. I chose a holiday apartment during this trip. Also very good experience, we made our own breakfast and dinner, a good stop on the way to the Gold Coast or back to Sydney

Was pleasantly surprised by our stay at this hotel. The room was a good size and the next was very comfortable. The tv had foxtel and a tonne of movies which was amazing since it was quite stormy outside. A nice 30 min walk to some nice waterfront cafes and some fast food options even closer! Parking was easy. And the room smelled really nice. A bit basic on hotel amenities but we were more than comfortable for a night.

Recommended if you are staying for a while. The room was adamant and the bathroom shower was not good. The door was just a big door like a window, so it was a bit scary. There is a parking spot, but there were a lot of cars because I parked anywhere in the motel. Clean place but not very good facilities. The reception lady is friendly.
