The hotel was overall nice and not as bad as the negative reviews online. Some parts of the room were slightly moldy and dusty, but it was still acceptable considering the location. The reception staff were friendly and professional. Overall, a comfortable stay and worth it.

My husband suggested this place for our 33rd marriage anniversary and I'm thankful that we came for our 4 nights stay here! We stayed at the Deluxe King Room. Firstly the immediate response with an official/personal email from the GM Mr Tony Teh acknowledging our booking and asking if we needed anything - this is exceptional and personal which gives us such warm feelings even before we started our stay! We forgot to notify in advance about our anniversary, yet upon check in, Mr Hykal who attended to us assured us that he would check about the matter. And just happened Ms Lynn who is the Public Relations in charge was at the Front Office received what I shared and she purposely made a special effort in making the special arrangements upon seeing my email reply to their GM. We chose the Sky Cafe to have our anniversary dinner - The special decorations done in the room (as a surprise to my husband) and the special table set-up for our dinner with a special discount for our anniversary dinner. On top of it the Chef Mr Phyo personally blessed us with his special-bake chocolate cake! The GM personally came up to the Sky Cafe to meet with us, such warmth and kindness! Upon arrival as we were lazy to go out, we ordered room service and the nasi goreng was super yummy! The daily breakfast is amazing - food is delicious (had the chance to chat with the Chef Shahrul), with different spreads throughout our four days. All the staff in the Breakfast place are exceptionally friendly, polite, helpful and always with smiles! These are the personnel that I managed to get their names - At the Front Office, Mr Hykal and Mr Sharul were the first who attended to us with the rest who were very helpful to our enquiries as well: Sofy, Najwa & Syirah. A special shout-out to the Housekeeping team under the leadership of Mr Hafis - who did such a great job in making such special decorations in the room! The Sky Cafe Team who served us during our anniversary dinner - Mr Azrael, Ms Fazlin and Chef Mr Phyo. And the Restaurant great team inside the kitchen and outside the restaurant area under the Manager (I can't recall his name) who were very attentive! Ohh, the night views of Genting Hilltop from the Rooftop Pool area - superb! Mr Tony Teh, you have a great asset - your Team is amazing! Thank you for making our 33rd anniversary a memorable one, and we are already considering coming back again!

Truly a family-friendly hotel! The Sixers Room with bunk beds was definitely a hit with the kids. The hotel location is very strategic — just opposite SkyWorlds Theme Park with only a 3-minute walk, and about 5 minutes to Avenue Mall. Very convenient for families with children. There are also plenty of food choices nearby. You can easily find a variety of food at Avenue Mall, or take a short walk to Kayangan Apartment for authentic Chinese food. The hotel is also near the link bridge connecting to Antara Mall, making everything easily accessible. Security is also very good. The access card only allows you to enter the floor you are staying on, and there are security personnel stationed downstairs, which made us feel safe throughout the stay. If you prefer a quieter environment, opt for a room facing the hill side. It is much less noisy and you can still enjoy the cable car view. Overall, a great stay for a fun, comfortable, and convenient family getaway!

I've stayed here many times, and I always choose First World because it's just so convenient! You can find food and drinks right downstairs. I feel like the bathroom in the room I got this time was renovated, and overall, my stay was quite comfortable! My only wish is that they could improve the check-in system... it's seriously too slow; I had to queue for an hour to check in.

I am very disappointed that the pillowcase smells bad—it seems unwashed. I couldn't sleep until midnight because my neck and back are very itchy. The most important thing for us when we travel is to get enough sleep. We hope relevant authorities will pay attention to this issue and provide assistance.

”Although there was a technical issue during check-in and our paid room was fully booked, the hotel staff resolved it professionally. We visit here every month, and our children really enjoy the activities organized by the staff. The restaurant serves incredibly delicious pizza, which we always look forward to having. Please maintain the same great taste, but I hope the restaurant staff can be more attentive to arriving guests and avoid judging customers based on their appearance.”

Hotel was great and room was comfy! The staff at the concierge was warm and friendly. Ariff was his name. Free parking was an annoyance as it was in a separate block. You either end up taking lifts and moving several towers to get to the place, and signage was poor so you might get a little lost initially. Or just walk outside and skip the confusion and lift waiting. just pay for parking outside the unit to avoid all these hassle. The free onsen for those who stay there was good, albeit one of the pool was being maintained. Wished it was a bit more open air and authentic in design. Again, staff here is really friendly to explain and help.

Great! A truly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with staff who were friendly and we got a room with a nice mountain view. The room was spotless, comfortable and there are many eateries and convenience stores nearby. Drawback was a few cancelled trips from Grab, who were not willing to go up Genting, but nevertheless we still managed to get a ride.

The hotel was basic and quite dated. There was no aircon and you can hear the noise from the amusement park and restaurants all day. Location is prime if you are staying to watch concert at the Arena of Stars. But seriously lack of service as it would take you at least 45 mins to check in unless you use those self checkin machine. No facilities and you have to go to another hotel for breakfast. No signage or whatever and it's quite easy to get lost.

Absolutely horrid check in and check out process, the counter is at an entirely different hotel which makes no sense at all. You have to climb up and down a hill for checking in and out OR take a taxi. They could at least offer a buggy or something. The walls are paper thin, the corridor has a persistent bad smell with any minor noise exacerbated by the echoes, and the geniuses invented see through blinds where anyone in the corridor can see into your apartment. The toilet smelled terrible, and the TV is not even smart..

My son and I have stayed at this boutique hotel twice before, back in 2024. Now our 3rd stay, still always our favourite. Lobby area is comfortable and spacious, smooth check in and be sure have cash to pay for the conservation fee RM3 since no cashless option for this. The room is well equipped with comfortable queen bed, air condition, tv, mini bar, kettle and coffee tea as well bottled water. Bathroom has clean towels, toothbrush set, soap, shower cap and toilettries. Shower with hot water, good water pressure. Wardrobe has bedroom slippers, ironing board & iron, laundry bag and ample space to store your clothes. There is self service laundrette with a fee(washing machine & dryer) in hotel. Hair dryer is available upon request. Other facilities include surau, 7 Eleven, another convenient shop as well as hotel cafe which I think is only available for breakfast. One might enjoy the wonderful paintings all around the hotel public area, where there are comfortable seating area with sofas. Overall, pleasant stay for us as always.

Hi, the price was great and included breakfast. However, the breakfast menu was quite disappointing. The front office service was excellent—there was a staff member (I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name) who was especially helpful. The maintenance team was also superb. However, it was quite frustrating when we were already tired and the room’s electricity kept tripping repeatedly, and we eventually had to change rooms. Initially, there were no towels provided as well. Overall, it was an okay stay.

About the properties experiences, the property is well clean, nice interior design however i just a bit dissatisfied on the air cond under master room where it was autamatically stop after 10-15 minutes operated with it was default on the timer even try top reset it but it still happen. The aircond also is not really cool. Maybe the maple technician must look into this as priority. This also for the ceiling Fan inside the master room only can go for speed number 4. Other than that is not functioning . All the rest for me is good. This time visit i give 3 star out of 5. TQ

The water pressure from the shower is low, one of us had to shower cold water until we manage to figure out the water pump. The host sent their maintenance guy to fix the water pump the next day at 9am (when we were still sleeping). Couldn't find the AC remote, took us 30 minutes to final find it next to one of the beds. The kitchen sink was clogged and making noise. Parking is a hassle as it's open air and you need to park quite a distance if you get back late. It was raining when we arrived, so we were all soaked due to the open air parking. We called the host at 12am to ask about the water pressure, he was responsive and helped us (over the phone) to sort it out. Water pressure is still low, but I guess that's the ”normal” pressure. Room can fit 6 adults comfortably. Good sound proofing.

When I say rustcamps was an absolute saviour. I mean it. It saved my lil weekend escapade from becoming an entire nightmare. The room was clean. The toilet was clean. The bed was soft. The area was clean too. Surrounded by greenery and a cheeky fog during my stay, it felt like I was transported to United Kingdom for a moment. The barbeque facilities were wonderful. I enjoyed my first time being my very own baddie grill master with music accompanying. The jacuzzi was well maintained and within room vicinity. It was even heated up! What a treat! To be surrounded by a chilly weather and a warm tub treating you right. They even have a bonfire at night where can sit and just enjoy the weather, the forest and heat of the fire. I love the basket breakfast concept. Its cute. Feel like gacha too since you dont know whats in there until you open it. Food was yummy! The customer service? Exceptional! The place is also well maintained. You can really feel the love and passion for the place. And for the price point, the price is worth every penny. Truly a hidden gem.

We had a great stay and a wonderful experience overall. We visited Genting during two rainy days, and the weather actually made the trip even more memorable. On the first day, it was heavily foggy and we couldn't see anything from the balcony, but the atmosphere was simply superb. It felt magical being surrounded by clouds. The next morning, the fog had completely cleared, revealing a beautiful mountain view. Having breakfast on the balcony while enjoying the scenery was definitely a highlight of our trip. The room itself was very cozy and comfortable, with nothing major to complain about. The only minor issue was the bathroom ventilation, as water tended to drip onto the floor and almost reached the living area, so we had to wipe it manually. However, it wasn't a big deal and didn't affect our overall experience.

Kitchenette well stocked with utensils. Can travel light since there's a washer/dryer provided for laundry. Regret not staying longer as not enough time to explore all the facilities available. From heated indoor pool, bowling, arcade, darts, simulated golf , cigar room, trampoline. Suitable from toddlers to seniors. Link to Genting sky ave is convenient 15-20 walk but have to be fit as the walk fr Antara to Sky Ave is uphill. Despite the Aircon climate we were sweating. Walk back to Antara is a breeze as it's downhill. Overall we love this place.

We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel despite it being new. From the moment we arrived, there was a strong drainage smell in the lobby, which was already off-putting. Check-in was extremely slow and disorganized. Even though we were the only guests checking in at the time, it took more than 30 minutes just to receive our room key. When we finally entered the room, we were surprised to find that it was not the room type we had booked. We had to call reservations ourselves to seek clarification, but no proper follow-up was given. When we returned to the reception, the staff seemed unaware of the issue. After further checking, we were informed that the room we had booked was no longer available. This was very disappointing, especially since we had already paid in advance. It is unacceptable that a confirmed booking was not honored, and even more concerning that staff were instructed not to disclose the real reason. Eventually, they offered us a different themed room, but by then we were already exhausted from waiting and dealing with the situation. We accepted it just to move on, but the experience completely ruined what was meant to be a birthday surprise for our daughter, for which we had specifically paid extra. To make matters worse, the bathroom had a strong drainage smell that was very difficult to tolerate. Although the room itself was clean, the odor made the stay uncomfortable, and we were simply waiting to check out. Facilities were generally okay, and the buffet breakfast had a good variety. However, the food was quite tasteless. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay,

The hotel room is spacious and generally clean. The mattress and pillows are quite soft, which made me wake up whenever I turned over during the night. The TV also had an issue where some channels had sound but no picture. That said, the view is absolutely beautiful and definitely the highlight of the stay. The weather here is cooler and more refreshing than the casino area below, making it a very relaxing and healing place to unwind. The hotel offers a good range of facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, and a children's water park. There are also several paid attractions for families, such as indoor playgrounds, handicraft activities, massage, billiards, and karaoke. I would also recommend trying the hotel breakfast, as the dining area has a lovely view that makes the experience even more enjoyable. One downside is that some floors still have a noticeable smell of fresh paint, probably due to ongoing renovation and limited ventilation. Communication at the front desk can also be a little challenging, as the staff's English is limited, so it may take some patience. If you would like a higher-floor room with a better view, the hotel charges an additional RM50, although you are free to decline if you don't mind the standard room. Overall, despite a few minor shortcomings, the beautiful scenery and comprehensive facilities make this a pleasant stay, especially for families or anyone looking for a relaxing mountain getaway.

Can see a little bit of the Skyworld ice age game. Fortunate to picture a clear view on daytime and night. Satisfied because the cooking equipment and washing machine work well especially the dryer. There will be more famous f&b shops will be opened soon. Although there is only 1 access key and parking isn't free, I am still satisfied with the facilities available especially the outdoor and indoor playground, swimming pool, hidden garden, hammock, stargazing, wall climbing, trampoline all free. Other extra activities such as bowling, darts & pool, golf simulator and karaoke are also available and the fee is also affordable. Comfortable for families to have fun in privacy. More interestingly, the staff are also very quick to act when receiving complaints. To go up to Skyworld, you can also go through the skybridge and walk 20-30 minutes. If you are lucky, you can use the buggy provided. Wheelchairs and strollers are also available at the customer service counter on level G. Highly recommended for large families. I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights and definitely will come back again.

Antara Hotel is relatively new, and we were genuinely impressed with our stay. The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. As both my husband and I are light sleepers, we always hope for a quiet environment when traveling, and the room we booked exceeded our expectations in that regard. One of our favorite features was the balcony with a lovely view. We spent the evening enjoying some beer and snacks while taking in the cool breeze, which was a wonderful way to unwind. The bed was comfortable, and I especially liked the bedroom layout. Having a separate bedroom with a door helped reduce noise and made the stay even more restful. The bathroom was another highlight. It was spacious, clean, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved. At a room rate of around RM400+ per night, it would be nice if hand towels or face towels were provided in addition to bath towels. Also, bottled drinking water is not provided. Instead, the hotel uses a water filtration machine that dispenses purified water directly from the tap. The location is connected to Genting via a link bridge, but be prepared for about a 15-minute walk. Younger guests will likely find it manageable, but I would not recommend the walk for elderly visitors. Fortunately, the hotel provides buggy rides to the escalator area, which helps save energy and is probably one of the most convenient services offered. Overall, the rooms are cozy, comfortable, and offer good value for the price. If you prefer being just a few minutes away from your room while exploring Genting, you may want to stay at Genting Grand or First World Hotel instead. However, if you don’t mind a short stroll and prefer a quieter, more relaxing environment, Antara Hotel is definitely a good choice.

The studio room is very comfy, nice and clean. The Antara link bridge is about 15 mins walking distance. Its not steep as there are escalators when going up. I don't mind to staying here and take grab go up genting. It's cheap. The room with a big balcony, you can dine outside if u wanna enjoy some fresh and cold air. It also has a kitchenette and washing machine with dryer. It about 15 restaurants below the building. Haidilao is going to open here soon. In overall, sure we will be staying here again. Note: from genting after 10pm is hard to get a grab downhill. The drivers already leave genting i believe. But it's still fine with a 15 min walk back.

Great experience. If you need to take the cable car, you will need to GRAB from the hotel. Down the road there are many restaurants serving local food and also supermarket. My room was on the 35 floor, however, there are nearby constructions thus, in the morning from 9am, there will be noise. I did not use the facilities, thus, no comments. Check out time like all other hotels is strictly 11am. Check in was at 3pm. As they need to turnover the room.
