I was very satisfied with my stay at the Majestic Barrière hotel. The location is unbeatable, and the exterior is equally impressive. The staff were incredibly attentive. Upon arrival, we were kindly upgraded to a room with a partial sea view, a welcome gift, and they didn't charge us for a late checkout, which was very kind of them. The room was very spacious with everything we needed. The €46 room service breakfast was very generous and even suitable for two people. The spa is truly excellent, with plenty of space. The outdoor pool was surprisingly warm even though it was quite cool outside, which was very pleasant. The only thing I could criticize about the hotel might be the somewhat dark color scheme and the wood, which sometimes looks a little dated, but that's all a matter of taste.

這應該是我在法國旅遊期間住過最好的酒店，首先，前台接待特別好，我第一次碰見前台登記入住的專門離開工作崗位把我送到房間的，這是我在國外旅遊第一次碰到，而我竟然忘了給她小費。其次，酒店的環境特別好，有一個露天的泳池被酒店的房間包圍着，私密性很好，泳池的員工服務也特別好。房間設計得極其的棒，可能是專業設計師來設計的，不論是床品還是佈局，還是整個房間的背景佈置，都感覺非常舒服。再説説不太好的，第一就是在離店的時候多收了錢，所以千萬不能拿卡去做擔保，否則的話他們會收你兩次錢，寧願給現金做按金，這是我在他們這邊學到的一個經驗，後來為了要回這個錢，折騰了好長時間。第二就是他們的沙灘，並不像想象的這麼好，不是衹給酒店的客人，而是什麼人都可以進，而且沙灘床距離太近，躺在床上感覺跟別人睡在一張床上。

Simply a luxurious hotel, within walking distance. I arrived for the Cannes Film Festival and was allowed to check in an hour early, which was a pleasant surprise. They upgraded my room to a superior one – I'm thrilled, thank you! The breakfasts are absolutely amazing: Parma ham, cheeses, coffee, baguettes, croissants, strawberries, blueberries, yogurts, scrambled eggs, sparkling and still water, and even alternative milk. The administrators are super attentive and caring, thank you so much. My stay was simply wonderful.

Unfortunately, our experience with Yasmin was not pleasant – she raised her voice and was unprofessional. The elevator is slow, and the room key cards often didn’t work. Still, thanks to Vesna and the rooftop pool, our stay was enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is literally next door to Cannes train station. Although Cannes is a small city, you don't really need to be that close to the train station, as the main shopping streets and beach is walkable from the station in 20 mins. We made use of the lounge on the top floor and terrace during our stay. Staff were very welcoming even on our last day, we were able to leave our luggage and still use facilities even after we had checked out. The continental breakfast offered a very good selection, especially with cereals, breads and cold meats.

We booked this place for the pools, the spa and the parking. Upon arrival we were told the parking is full, we don't have breakfast although I showed proof in app and in my emails. After getting to ”our room” we found it was already taken (there was an upon luggage on the bed) and we were informed someone got upgraded to our upper floor room with breakfast and we got their lower floor room (without breakfast, which would explain the initial confusion ). They asked for a credit card for the mini fridge goods but our mini fridge was empty. We didn't have enough towels and I literally had to bring them up myself. The upper floor/outdoor pool (the oke in the first picture of the hotel) needs to be booked the same day and has 10 spots only with no booking limit per person and the spa/massages were fully booked (with only one 30min available at 7:15am and we are a couple) needless to say we didn't get to enjoy neither. We used the sauna and there were no towels, although mandatory to use in the sauna as per their sign, no water to rehydrate and no water to pour on the stones for steam. We didn't go to the indoor pool initially because of screaming/shouting kids although there were signs with instructions for a quiet and relaxing area. Honestly, I feel like we were scammed 😪 would never stay again and really wished we booked another place especially given the wide variety of beautiful Hotels in the area. Moreover the room didn't have a ceiling light but just ambience lamp, ours was constantly flickering so we turned it off and spent our time in the semi-darknes (room 325).. The breakfast was good and the staff lovely, we interacted with Joao (upon arrival with the big mess up, he was very helpful and apologised many times), Manal and Nabil and they were all great and very helpful.

We have been over a day , we don't like to disturb and bad days all have,and the next day it repeated, but only the next day they could solve the problem and we understand that part , but the water of the shower was cold, in December is difficult to take a cold water bath and every day the water never got regular, which made the stay unpleasant... the jacuzzi problem was solved on the third day and we understand, they tried their best, a new room and the breakfast included and we thank you for that,to thiso of the water was one of the negative points and the breakfast served in the room had some missing things in the menu (no additional cost) that should warn, but finally. The staff were very friendly and the view was very beautiful. Cleaning could also be improved, it has pins marks on the toilet cap that should not exist and the cakes of the caviars on the terrace that in no day was clean 🫠. But I believe it was just a bad phase that can happen anywhere, not stop visiting, it is just an assessment, perhaps a little more demanding person and who works with demanding public! 😅

But her reaction was far too rude. When I tried to explain (using a translator) that I wasn’t trying to eat it myself, but only wanted to offer it to others, she didn’t listen and asked me to leave the terrace. It was so unreasonable, and this incident negatively affected my mood for the rest of the trip. Even when I returned to the hotel, she ignored me. I just want to clarify that my frustration wasn’t because my offer of the bread was refused. Even if she had simply said, “Sorry, we have plenty of bread, it’s okay,” I would not have felt upset at all. Of course, I would have respected that. I feel it’s unreasonable that guests should have to be cautious of this staff member’s attitude. If it weren’t for her, the hotel experience would have been excellent.

Facilities: Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip to France, this one felt the most like a modern five-star hotel back home in terms of its age and modernity. The facilities are quite modern, the decor is relatively new, and the style is aesthetically pleasing and well-thought-out. The only downside is that the rooms are small. In particular, we booked three rooms, and one of them was exceptionally tiny. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: The cafe downstairs is beautiful, and the jar arrangements look exquisite. The gym's swimming pool offers a comfortable view of the sea on a sunny day. Service: The front desk service was excellent and professional. We didn't really experience much else. Location: The hotel's location is superb, within easy walking distance to the main shopping street and the steps of Cannes. For the price, this hotel offers great value for money in Cannes. The overall experience was far more worthwhile than the Le Méridien in Nice. All aspects are well worth the price.

USGuest UserAll the other staff were very kind, and the room was very well maintained, so thanks to you, I had a very comfortable stay in Cannes. However, I had one unpleasant experience. The female staff member in charge of breakfast was extremely rude. That morning, I had purchased some bread and, since it was quite large, I wanted to ask if it could be shared with other guests having breakfast. (It was freshly bought that morning, completely new.) However, she seemed to misunderstand and thought I was asking if I could eat the bread on the terrace. Without listening to me at all, she simply said “No!” I understand that she might not have wanted it or could have refused to share, and I also understand that outside food might be a sensitive issue. But her reaction was far too rude. When I tried to explain (using a translator) that I wasn’t trying to eat it myself, but only wanted to offer it to others, she didn’t listen and asked me to leave the terrace. It was so unreasonable, and this incident negatively affected my mood for the rest of the trip. Even when I returned to the hotel, she ignored me. I just want to clarify that my frustration wasn’t because my offer of the bread was refused. Even if she had simply said, “Sorry, we have plenty of bread, it’s okay,” I would not have felt upset at all. Of course, I would have respected that. I feel it’s unreasonable that guests should have to be cautious of this staff member’s attitude. If it weren’t for her, the hotel experience would have been excellent.

Everything in this hotel was just right. The staff were kind and professional, and the overall atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very clean and the linens felt amazing — soft, fresh, and the pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were spotless. One special detail we truly appreciated was the beautiful view from the bathroom window in our room — it made the stay feel even more special. We didn’t try the breakfast because we preferred to explore cafés in the city center, but everything else exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

We got the smallest room in the hotel ... after the reservation of the 2 rooms the service missed the rooms so the one for two and see view got the one college, but the rest of the stay was ok. Next time we have to ensure the room is on the 2nd floor.

Nice hotel, quite well located, close to the beach and within walking distance. However, you'll find yourself getting around more by car than on foot, as the area isn't very well-suited to public transport. It's very quiet. The staff is quite friendly, the hotel is quiet, and the room is cleaned daily. However, for the bathroom, it would be great to have a double shower head to prevent the water from overflowing 😊 Breakfast is adequate, with both sweet and savory options, but everything is pre-packaged, including the scrambled eggs, which are reheated packets. It would be nice to have something to warm or toast the bread so it's less chewy, since it's not fresh. Overall, quite decent, I recommend it for a stay in the area 😊

Stayed here for one night. The location is very convenient, from the station is only about 10 minutes walk. There are shops, restaurants and market nearby. You can reach the port for 5–7 minutes. Toilet and shower are common, are on every floor. In general, at its price it is a good and quite comfortable option for short stay.

We booked this place for the pools, the spa and the parking. Upon arrival we were told the parking is full, we don't have breakfast although I showed proof in app and in my emails. After getting to ”our room” we found it was already taken (there was an upon luggage on the bed) and we were informed someone got upgraded to our upper floor room with breakfast and we got their lower floor room (without breakfast, which would explain the initial confusion ). They asked for a credit card for the mini fridge goods but our mini fridge was empty. We didn't have enough towels and I literally had to bring them up myself. The upper floor/outdoor pool (the oke in the first picture of the hotel) needs to be booked the same day and has 10 spots only with no booking limit per person and the spa/massages were fully booked (with only one 30min available at 7:15am and we are a couple) needless to say we didn't get to enjoy neither. We used the sauna and there were no towels, although mandatory to use in the sauna as per their sign, no water to rehydrate and no water to pour on the stones for steam. We didn't go to the indoor pool initially because of screaming/shouting kids although there were signs with instructions for a quiet and relaxing area. Honestly, I feel like we were scammed 😪 would never stay again and really wished we booked another place especially given the wide variety of beautiful Hotels in the area. Moreover the room didn't have a ceiling light but just ambience lamp, ours was constantly flickering so we turned it off and spent our time in the semi-darknes (room 325).. The breakfast was good and the staff lovely, we interacted with Joao (upon arrival with the big mess up, he was very helpful and apologised many times), Manal and Nabil and they were all great and very helpful.
