Unfortunately we only stayed one night in the Bel Air caravan. This was very large and comfortable for 2 people. The toilet was also very clean and spacious, I particularly liked the outdoor area. There is also a laundry room, games room and BBQ on site. The man at the reception was extremely nice and helpful, even though check-in wasn't until 2 p.m. we were allowed to check in at 9. He also helped us find a taxi. We would have liked to stay there longer, but the distance to the shopping centers is far. Local transport is not particularly good in this area.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 night paying over $800. Plus had to pay $200 deposit. 20 mins after checking in and storing my belongings into the hotel room. The manager had knocked on my door and falsely accused me of smoking ********* in his hotel. Much to his surprise I was telling the truth and he apologized for the accusation. Upon check out day. I cleaned the floors and all the rest of it. Took pictures for evidence of room when checked out. Realised i hadnt been refunded my $200. asked for my deposit refund as it hasn't been put back into my account. Manager denied paying me my deposit back and claimed that he had to pay his cleaners extra for the extra 40 mins they took to clean UNDER our beds. Which he never stated that would be a reason to withhold my full refund. I left the room clean, no damages to property upon checkout, As manager instructed. I proved I certainly wasn't smoking ********* in his hotel. Completed a complaints form about his customer service as he still refusing to give me my $200 deposit. Will never stay there again.

A very clean comfortable modern looking upstairs unit with a balcony for outdoor dining etc.We stored our bikes on the balcony for security so a bonus .Reasonably priced for the location and quality of the unit ..Close to the Esplanade/Beach and all that is on offer.. We would definitely return to stay at some stage ..Access to the upstairs units is via stairs ..My wife and I would have preferred to have been made aware of the evacuation procedures given that it was an upstairs area and from what I could establish only exits were two stairways either end of the block and it's potentially a long way to either exit if there was an evacuation ..But I stand corrected if that isn't the case .Parking for a vehicle per unit is great ..

We really enjoyed our stay here, the space was great for us and our two little ones. We checked in late and staff were very accommodating of this. The only negative things I can say are that the brown blanket on the queen bed was crusty and clearly hadn’t been washed, we opted to use the spare blanket in the cupboard which didn’t have any obvious marks on it there was also a decently sized dead bug in the bathroom just under the door which would’ve been quite easy for cleaners to remove if they had a keen eye. Aside from those minor things, we really liked our space and would happily recommend this accommodation to family or friends visiting Hervey Bay.

It is a Motel. Parking and laundry available. We booked 2 weeks in advance 1 room for 2 night (2 reservations were made within 1 hour, informing the reason by email) and at the check-in we discovered that we had to change the room after the 1st night, very inconvenient because the next day we had the tour to Frazer Island leaving at 7.25am and we had to move all our luggage in our car (at this time in the morning the reception is close). The reception close at 7pm (not a minute later) and when e arrived at 7.30pm we had to check-in at the bar/restaurant and they were not allowed to change the room assignment. We had dinner at the restaurant (average quality) and were served at the bar by a very rude and touchy waitress...we were on the way of leaving the restaurant. The manager offered to provide dinner the next day due to the room issue, which did not happen even though she was present.

I stated at the Ramada for two nights when I was in Hervey Bay for a trip to Fraser Island. Overall, it was a pleasant enough stay. The hotel location is located near the esplanade, which is a quiet part of town about 8 km from the CBD, and has a few dining options within walking distance near the boat club. The hotel staff were all friendly upon arrival, the hotel room I was in was reasonably modern / well maintained (but your expectations should be set at ”regional Australia hotel quality” and not ”major city hotel quality”), and it has a on-site pool / restaurant (there was also a tiny 'gym' but it did not really have anything other than a cardio machine and some small weights). There was on-site parking, but the spaces were small and filled up very quickly when I was there (I didn't have trouble parking, but did find myself getting the final free space a couple of times). I had no real complaints about the place and would happily stay there again.

The homestay is across the road from the Fisherman's Wharf seafood wholesale market. It is very convenient to buy it and make it yourself. The facilities of the homestay are not as good as the hotel resort, the pool is small, the service is average, there is no 24-hour front desk, no early check-in and late check-out, because it is a family business, it is too late to clean and tidy the room. If you don't mind these, it is still a good local cost-effective accommodation choice.

The location is very good, it is very convenient to take the Greyhound bus, and you can walk and walk nearby. The rooms are new, clean, tidy and spacious. The rooms are fully equipped with microwaves and simple cutlery for a simple breakfast. The hotel has a small swimming pool that looks very cute and the hotel's exterior color palette is also very nice. The car can be parked directly at the door of the room, which is very convenient. The hotel does not have a restaurant and does not offer breakfast.

Okay. Understand that this is a family friendly location in regional Australia? It is never going to be five star by world standards, but as far as cleanliness and presentation for the region it was excellent. With regards to the beach, the location was excellent. With regards to cafes and takeaway food places the location is so so. With regards to room amenities, my only gripe is I don’t like liquid soap so I had to go to the supermarket and buy some real soap. Everything else about the room was more than acceptable. We will definitely be staying here again. The big winner here is the staff. The staff service was nothing short of excellent. You have really won my praise on this. We thank you so much. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others

Service was OK No discussion about deposit at time of booking only when booking in. Room smelt bad. I think the carpet was wet and moldy. Had to leave all of the doors and windows open to let freash air into the room. Was not game to turn on the air-conditioning in case it was mold affected like the carpet. Kitchen sink drain smelt like a toilet. Had to pour hot water down the drain to try and get rid of smell. Room was tired and dated. Stayed at the Remada last time and would recommend them over Mantra in its current state.

Had to leave all of the doors and windows open to let freash air into the room. Was not game to turn on the air-conditioning in case it was mold affected like the carpet. Kitchen sink drain smelt like a toilet. Had to pour hot water down the drain to try and get rid of smell. Room was tired and dated. Stayed at the Remada last time and would recommend them over Mantra in its current state.
