I recently stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico City, and overall, it was a good experience. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location—it’s right on Reforma Avenue, next to the U.S. Embassy, so it felt very safe even though there were some peaceful demonstrations happening nearby related to rent increases and the current situation in Mexico. The room was spacious and comfortable, but it did feel a bit old and outdated. The bathroom floor had some cracks, which wasn’t a big issue but worth mentioning. It could definitely use some renovation in the future. On the bright side, the breakfast was really nice. Good variety, fresh options, and great service. If you care about being in a central, secure area with decent amenities, this hotel is a solid choice—just don’t expect a modern, freshly renovated space.

Second time I go to this hotel. Overall I really like it. Two things that disappointed me this time: 1/ I specifically asked for a one big bed room and they said it was available, then they gave me a different room and 2/ they didn’t fill the body soap when it was almost over, we had to use the hand one to shower.

The internal environment of the old hotel is impeccably beautiful, but the facilities in the guest rooms are too outdated. The security scope of the gate square has been ”expanded”, and it is not very convenient to get in and out to call a taxi~

We like this hotel. Good location I. A good, safe neighbourhood beside the angel of independence statue. We stayed at the King size bed room on the 10th floor with s views of the city. And free access to the exclusive Brisas Business Lounge that offer fast check-in, concierge service ,specialty coffes and soft drinks all day and free breakfast and light dinner, snakes and an alcohol drink in the evening. We had a little incident at the room but the staff was quick to fix it.

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay at PF hotel & suites. The young guy doing night shift at check in counter gave the best service! We checked in at 3 a.m on 20 November. , he saw our taxi and promptly came to open the entrance door for us. We saw him on different evenings and he was always smiling. The hotel housekeeping did a splendid job! The room was very clean. The furnishings and furniture might be a bit dated, but at such a convenient location, this hotel is highly recommended at this affordable rate. There are great Korean gimbab & fried chicken little shop right next to the hotel if you crave Asian food. A short walk away, there are several local Mexican restsurants, cafes and street food stalls.

A historic hotel. The facilities are somewhat dated, but I had no problems staying there. There are many restaurants nearby, and the Cheonsang is within walking distance. I was very comfortable during my stay, but overall, the bathroom ventilation and drainage were a bit lacking. Other than that, it was a pretty decent stay.

The surrounding environment of the hotel is a bit complicated. If you travel by Uber or Didi, you don’t have to worry. The police cars in Mexico City sound the alarm all night to crack down on crimes, which also disturbs the public. In short, the culture is there, but the development is indeed backward. The English penetration rate is average. If you don’t know Spanish, you won’t be able to survive in Mexico. However, Chinese brands are doing well in Mexico, and there are advertisements of Chinese brands everywhere.

The room is not big, but it is enough for me. Towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, hair dryer, tissues, etc. are provided. Slippers and toothpaste and toothbrush need to be brought by yourself. The mineral water you catch up with is charged, but the cleaning staff will give you water for free.
