I appreciated the kind reception staff upon check-in. However, our overall experience was disappointing.
We had originally booked a double room suitable for a family of four. At check-in, we were unexpectedly informed that due to a system error, a double bed was no longer available, and we were instead provided with an extra bed. Unfortunately, the extra bed was uncomfortable, and the blanket was too thin, leaving us cold throughout the night. If we had traveled with two children instead of one, this arrangement would have been unacceptable. Despite this inconvenience, no compensation or discount was offered.
Even more confusing was that a quick search on Trip.com still showed that the hotel offered double beds, making us question the validity of the excuse we were given.
Additionally, the in-room heater did not function properly—the temperature would not rise no matter how high we set it. We reported this to the concierge, but no staff ever came, even after midnight. As a result, we spent a very cold night. There were also no slippers provided in the room.
We had hoped this would be a memorable trip for good reasons, but unfortunately, the lack of proper room management and follow-up service left us very disappointed. I hope the hotel management takes immediate steps to improve their operations.
