Launch your boat only 5 minutes away from the house. Kin beach offers all the family fun and bathrooms is only a seven minute drive. On the other side of the lake is paddle wheel park and boat launch with plenty of trailer parking, and camp Hurlburt fully equipped beach with picnic tables and bathrooms. These are a 12 -18 minute drive and are spectacular. Please let your hosts know if you are interested in renting a pontoon boat, kayaks or paddle boards, as we do have rentals available to our guests for any one of these places.

Furthermore, our indoor pool provides a unique swimming experience as it is not treated with chlorine. Instead, we maintain the pool using bromide, a milder alternative that creates a gentle and soothing environment for your enjoyment. Separate maintenance procedures for the pool are carried out between 9-11 am. Rest assured, these maintenance activities are carefully scheduled to avoid any disruption to your swim times, allowing you to fully relish your aquatic adventures without any interruptions.

Your home away from home! Well equipped and appointed suite with modern amenities. Located in the quiet Vernon Foothills neighborhood en-route to Silver Star. Our above ground suite, bright, spacious and has no stairs. 2 spacious bedrooms, a full bath, full sized kitchen and in-suite laundry. There's lots of storage, closet space and room to park on property. Winter season we have boot/glove dryers and ski/board rack. Spacious off street parking for 2 vehicles including a small utility/marine trailer.

We are a family of 4 with 2 mini dachshunds and a cat that live upstairs. We are pretty quiet but you may hear us walking around or my dog will occasionally bark if someone knocks on the door or if they're outside. You may see us outside doing yard work or enjoying a fire (you’re more than welcome to join). Our yard is a shared space with people, our dogs (we accompany our weenies when they’re outside) and the local deer and quail population. ***Please be aware that we have shared heat and A/C where the main control is in our main-living space upstairs. We have the central A/C set to 23 degrees and the heat is set to 22 degrees.
