Front office is amazing and attentive. Grand Hyatt and the Peak is an experience in itself. Every room has a bath tub and the hallway, lift smell really good. Not also as crowded as the likes of Savoy/ Belmont. Bar bites in The Peak is also yummy, highly recommended is their Negroni.

There are not enough words to describe the excellence that this hotel offers its guests! From the moment you walk in, you feel so welcome, specially at the lobby lounge bar special mentioned to Dome he welcomed us with genuine smile he is the one assist on us during that night, He did a good job from suggesting the food and also thier drinks from their bartender Arjo everything is perfect, It was very comfortable and convenient. Perfect for our time for relaxation and with some business in the process. It was at the center of everything. We will definitely return.

I was in Manila for work and the hotel staff was EXCEPTIONAL from the security guard at the gate to the housekeepers. I must acknowledge the bartender at the lobby bar MC. After long days at the office, he knew exactly what drinks to mix to take the edge off. He was very personable and I could tell he enjoyed bartending. He along with everyone else did a phenomenal job of ensuring my stay was pleasant and worth returning. Great job everyone, I’ll be back for sure. Thanks MC and the rest of the Westin Marriott team. We have been going to Edsa Shangrila for family staycations for a long time now. It's our whole family's favorite quick getaway. We feel most comfortable and taken cared of at Edsa Shangrila. Our kids especially love swimming in the pool. We would like to give a special shout out to Sir Manny (lifeguard) for chatting with our 2 boys from time to time and for always keeping our kids safe while swimming. Thank you too to Sir Oteph Silvan, lifeguard for taking care of us. For my husband and I, we enjoy having drinks and peanuts at the Pool Bar made relaxing and easy with the impeccable service headed by Mavic and the whole Pool Bar team, Chef Anthony and Nikki! Of course, the whole stay won't be complete without experiencing dining at The Heat. We are most at home with our friends at Heat namely, Kap Mike Cifra, Angelica Banal, Stephen Manuel, Vergel Siason, and of course with Chef Anthony Catipay. Special shout out too to Luigi Bautista, Service Associate from guest service center who always took care of our Heat dining reservations and for the care he has has given us during our stay. Thank you too to Sheryl Meneses for her attention to details in keeping our rooms so clean and comfy. Edsa Shangrila is definitely a place we call home because of the great accommodations and the excellent service of people who work there that have become our good friends as well. We'll definitely be back because of them.

Always simply the best. I very much enjoyed the service and hospitality. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The food in Heat is great. And as usual, I wish I could have stayed longer. I wish all personnel the best for making my stay positively memorable.

Check in and out is very smooth, the staff are all hospitable. Place is wide and love the king size bed. Breakfast, is very nice but would be great if there is more selection but over all satisfied. Our room is beside the utility room so we hear the noise from it like running water etc. The time i went to the pool area, there was a foul smell in the air (maybe garbage collection time or what).
- Misty^^Bell
Excellent location near the main avenue, courteous staff. good breakfast Excellent room. The pool is small in relation to the number of people staying at the hotel, so it is not useful.

Much of the value of this hotel comes from the superb location. It's right across the upscale Podium Mall and a few minutes walk from the more busy SM Megamall and Shangri-La Plaza Mall. Also near places of worship if you're visiting on a Sunday. MRT is a few minutes walk away, and it's easy to book Grab in the area as it is within the CBD. The room is dated, but well maintained. There's a recent renovation done on the bathroom and the choice of nice fixtures are noticeable -- the idet doesn't surprise you with sudden pressure and the rain shower is really good. Water temperature is well-controlled. The bathtub has a nice marble top which is good for placing a bottle of drink or your tablet to watch a few Netflix shows while soaking. You can get a bathbomb from one of the nearby malls. Choice of toiletries could be improved, but all is good. The sofa cover is made of a sort of velvet which was worrisome for me to sit on. I had a few itches under my thigh after seating on the desk chair, so just used the bed after that. It may be good to replace the furnishings with more maintainable surfaces. Airconditioning is good, but the outdoor unit located under the floor near the windows is noisy. Entertainment options could be improved if the room is marketed as a staycation option. The TV remote only works from 1 meter away, and the TV is not smart, so you won't be able to cast Netflix and YouTube. The subscription package on the analog cable also doesn't include most HD and premium channels. There's no bluetooth speaker available and the intercom system is very dated. Refrigerator is small, but was cools well. Complimentary service is sp**** (just 2 packs of instant coffee and 2 small bottles of water). This won't be a problem if you're staying at the hotel as a halfway home and are mostly out to have meals with family and friends and do some shopping before heading out of Manila to your final destination, as I had. I haven't tried the hotel's restaurants and in-room dining, but would find an opportunity to do so when I come back. Service of the staff is outstanding. I arrived early morning as my flight has been pushed back, and the staff welcome (starting from the doorman) was refreshing. Reception staff is very professional, and staff I've met inside the elevator were friendly. Housekeeping was also quick to respond to my request. Check-in and check-out was fast. Overall, my stay had been comfortable and I would definitely book again. Rates at trip.com could be 50% lower than published rates for gold tier members, so this is a good opportunity to enjoy a stay at the hotel. Some rooms like mine have windows facing the other building's firewall (2 meters away). It still lets in light and is good for privacy, but if you intend to have a better view, don't forget to mention it during check-in. I would be happy to see this hotel renovated to maybe a transitional style (based from it's current classic theme), have the furnishings modernized, and the amenities improved, and I wouldn't mind paying more for such a good location.

The 1 BD suite they gave me was not that good, it was very noisy and the noise was coming from a 3 removable panels in the floor of the bedroom, furniture are old and need updating, bed mattress hard on one side and very soft on the other, room cleaning was 3 days a week and they will not change the bed sheets always even if ask them, they don't clean very good laundry service is very bad, they brought the clothing having bad smell, not cleaned and full of wrinkles, they charge more than other hotels for laundry, staff are very friendly. When checking in they aske me to deposit 77K in Philippines currency in cash, I informed them that the room is fully paid and I already gave them the booking document, then they said ok put 20K deposit in cash & I told them I am not currying that amount as to enter the Philippines the maximum amount you can carry is 10K only, then after asking a supervisor or manager, they said ok when ordering room services or laundry services you have to pay in cash. location is very good and area is safe. On last day I found a letter under my door from room cleaning staff asking for recommendation letter which instead I put tip for them.

The New Novotel expected to be clean due it is a new one. I found food and Services needed to improve a lot. Our family is dissatisfied with Buffet Breakfast where food is repeated many times and not happy with salty food such as beef. I am comparing buffet Breakfast from Kingsford Hotel and other Hotels our family have stayed for 4 weeks . Also on our last day I noticed a short of staff and also poor cleaning services on Dinning area . There are staff who are friendly but others seems not happy on what the job they are doing especially the lady who was requested to clean the table it is kind of turned off . She was cleaning the plates in front of everyone as I have not seen this on other hotel putting out scrap food in front of everyone. Aren't they suppose to take the plates and do this in the kitchen area ? 🤔

Facilities: The facilities in the room are relatively complete, but there is no coffee machine and the air conditioning in the lobby is relatively cold. Hygiene: clean and good Environment: The hotel is by the river. Google Maps seems unable to prepare the location. You need to explain to the driver. Service: The service is very good Breakfast is not very rich, because you don’t need to buy breakfast separately, you can eat it as long as you stay in the hotel

We enjoyed our stay and the main bonus is being connected to the mall where you will find a wide range of food and the food court is superb. Some of the rooms look like they were built 30 years ago but after complaining we got moved twice and the last time we got a room on the renovated floor but we had to have a twin bed despite booking a king room

Booked a room for me and my family. Location is good. Connected to Rob Galleria. 10mins away from SM Megamall. Staff were very friendly. Did not regret this staycation. Price is quite cheap.

Reservation was easily done via phone. Thanks to Lala who was responsive in both calls and emails. Check-in was smooth and we were assisted right away to our 2 rooms. I was pleased they accommodated my request for the two rooms to be beside each other. Room was clean. Turned on the aircon and small ref. Went down to the Ace Water Spa - our first time since pandemic. The kids enjoyed but we went in closer to 3:30pm. The spa has 3 timeslots now 8am to 12nn, 1pm to 5pm and 6pm to 10pm. So we had to leave at exactly 5pm. Their protocols were updated. Towels (clean and fresh!) and swim caps are provided at the reception. We went up and noticed our room was still warm and the fridge too (we had a cake). I alerted housekeeping and front desk and we were transferred to new rooms. THANK YOU JAYSON of Housekeeping. You were so helpful. I noticed that they have less staff than usual but SERVICE was excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ace Hotel and Suites, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, they even allowed us to do an early check-in. The luxurious accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, made our stay truly memorable. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. The vintage aesthetics were awesome. The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze, and My next visit is already scheduled with my family and friends. Highly recommended! I had a fun experience at their spa and other amenities and had the pleasure of enjoying their buffet breakfast.

This was my second time here but so sad that our second would be the last🥲 First, we requested for early checkin and informed us to call warly same day but no available room for earlt checkin. We arrived early like 2:30pm but they let us check in for past 3pm. Second, We booked early for twin bed 1 br but upon arrival they said it wasnt available and gave us king bed instead. we booked early and the twin bed was available how come it was not available during the checkin time. Third, lack of toiletries, no lotion at all. Forth, shower room was dirty, the fridge was so dusty. If there would be zero star, i would give one. Very frustrating stay.

The smell when you step out of the elevator going to the rooms will remind you of wood and antique. 😅 Don’t expect 5 star quality in the amenities because this hotel isn’t new but im still giving 5star for the price i paid for. I stayed in Richmonde Eastwood before so I expected more on the breakfast buffet especially on a Sunday morning. I was a little disappointed there but overall experience is satisfactory. Oh the pillows are too soft for my liking.

Stayed here on work and some food things about the place - liked the room I got . It was large with a wonderful clear view of the city. Rooms are well equipped and clean (thought the housekeeping forgot to clean my room one day); location wise is great with walking distance to restaurants and the malls (which are more than a plenty in this neighborhood). Staff was helpful and friendly though check in and check was long with all their paper work and adminstration process done sometimes manually. The breakfast - okay. More on the meaty side of items which does get heavy for morning. The gym is great. Would it stay here again - yes, it's a nice location and quiet area with a not too far distance from the office.

Booked our family for a 2day stay in Manila at the 3 bedroom deluxe unit. It is at the 17th floor. The view was great, awesome specially at sunrise and dusk. Everything crisp and clean. It's like living briefly on an upscale condominium with hotel service. Everyone in my family slept well on their own bedroom. Every room has its own toilet and bath. It has its own dining table, living room and yes washing machine. Everything provided for a low price. I think its the best deal of all hotels in Ortigas. It is walking distance near Robinsons Ortigas. And just a grab away from my convention site at Shangri La. Perfect staycation for a family of 5. And yes free breakfast for us all. Will surely be back if there is another chance.

We last stayed in Privato Ortigas a few months before the pandemic and I’m glad that we were back and even celebrated my mom’s birthday in Privato Hotel Ortigas!!I really liked their minimalistic room with great design. Its simple but it has everything we need. I loved their ever comfy beds that really made me relax and had a good sleep. But what I really loved about the hotel aside from its marvelous amenities like the pool and roof top bar and deck is their excellent customer service. I highly commend Duty Manager MA. CONTESA VICTORIA M CATUAAN for being hand on in making sure that the client’s requests and well being are addressed. Her sensitivity to PWDs needs such as me really deserved my admiration and respect. I also commend and thank front desk pips Alex and Bless who really assisted me in my reservations and made sure that everything was fine even before I arrived. To Divine who even assisted us up in our rooms to ensure that we are comfortable and if we still need anything else. To Aaron who assisted us when we checked in and helped us have our room in the soonest possible time. lastly, to Marvin/Melvin( I’m aways confused with his name sorry) who was patient every time we call front desk for our requests. It was indeed a wonderful experience and its was a wise decision to be back and we will surely be back very soon! Keep up the excellent service and more power Privato Hotel Ortigas!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏢🛌🏊‍♂️🛀🇵🇭👍🏼

I really had fun staying in this hotel despite of the restrictions brought about by the pandemic. Ralph, the Manager, in this hotel was very helpful even during the times when I was still in Canada and trying to book/reschedule my hotel reservation. He was very helpful and easy to reply when I have concerns about my reservation. The Front Desk staff were always cheerful and easily attend to my needs every time I call them. I stayed there for 4 nights but no words can say how happy I was that I booked my hotel reservation with them. Thank you.

Shay and Ino at the reception were super professional and pleasant to interact with. Everyone from the guards, engineering, housekeeping, to receptionists were amazing! It felt like a 5-star experience because of how they treat each guest! The hotel is very basic, clean, but in a good location! The service made up for what they lack in the usual facilities from other hotels but I don’t mind at all. The only issue I had was the other guests on the floor I was staying at. They weren’t mindful of the beeping sound of their door when it’s not properly closed (it was several times in the middle of the night so probably drunk). I also love the fact that they are conscious of not using plastics or little bottles in their bathrooms but instead a dispenser attached at the shower. Great effort to avoid single use plastics! 💯

We stayed in Astoria Plaza for over a month. We made our reservation well ahead of time and made a deposit (e-transfer) 10% of the total cost of our stay, plus extra cost for the early check-in. Upon checked in about 5:00 a.m., I was surprised when the front desk staff asked us when are we going to settle our account. I said “can’t you see on our reservation that we made a deposit w/c was equivalent to 11 days stay”? We were told that there was no room available yet on the higher floor so in the meantime we were given a room on a lower floor and promised that we will be moved on the higher floor in 2 days. I also asked if we are entitled for a free breakfast that morning, he said No because the cost for early check-in does not include breakfast. Anyway, once we were in our room the phone rang and he said Yes we can have free breakfast at the Astoria Cafe. We found the room on the lower floor was alright so we didn’t bother to be moved on the higher room. We have stayed in Astoria Plaza several times, and we know some staff who have been working there for 10 years or more. We accidentally broke a glass in the bathroom and we asked for replacement but was charged (pesos) to our account. However, the replacement glass was not delivered soon, until the day I talked to the housekeeping guy. I have seen blood or urine stains on the bedsheets. For our long stay in Astoria Plaza, we thought we could get a free transfer to the airport. Unfortunately, we don’t get that benefit so we settled for a grab taxi that was large enough for our 4 luggages and 2 carry-ones. Overall, our over a month stay in Astoria Plaza was pleasant. Our special thanks to Jinky Ching, Mac, Joy, Honey, Diane, Claire, Gella and all the staff in the cafeteria, for looking after us in the morning. 👏 Thank you to the concierge staff, for the free shuttle services to and from MegaMall/Shangrila.👏

Great hotel, friendly bubbly staff! This hotel is located near malls such as the Podium and the SM mall is located 5 minute walk from it. Grab taxis as well as regular taxis are available all the time. There are many banks located a couple minutes walk from the hotel incase you need to withdraw or do currency exchange. Breakfast buffet is great! Everyday new food is served, that way you are not eating the same things everyday. They also serve starbucks coffee in the main lobby Employees are super nice and very helpful, especially the front door guard. Only thing missing is a pool :( otherwise it would be a 5 star rating for amenities. I would definitely come back to the wynwood hotel the next time im in the Philippines!
