Wyndham Grand Cancun All Inclusive Resort & Villas Reviews

We had a pretty bad experience with our stay at Wyndham Cancun. Water was leaking in the room. Shower planner was broken and draining yellow color water. Overall experience is bad but the property is really good. This was an unfortunate experience.

We had an amazing days at Wyndham Grand Cancun. The amenities were amazing , food at La vista was fantastic, helpful and attentive staffs. Beach was not swimmable due to the strong wind but they have different pools and jacuzzi to choose from.

The hotel is old and even though it was recently remodeled it shows. The beach is very pretty and has a good location, however the weakest point is the food, they have few options, the quality is low and obtaining a reservation in high season is very difficult. The service is also poor.

da vinci The dress code for the restaurant to be booked is outrageous. Other foreigners can enter in floral shirts, shorts and loafers. My boyfriend wears ordinary black shorts, pure white short-sleeved sandals with heels (all inclusive). feet) is not allowed to enter, saying that it does not meet the dress code, I am really a little speechless, but the restaurant is still good, and the food is not bad

My family and I had a wonderful trip and the property was great and the villa was outstanding!!! I also want to give a special shout out to Alejandro the lifeguard who pulled me out of the ocean!! I owe you my life!! He has a partner too who helped my daughters but I am sorry I didn’t catch his name Amazing trip!!

The resort was very well maintained. The Super Bowl party that they provided for us was wonderful. Food was great and the entertainment was fantastic. I think they need another bar open in the evening. We couldn’t even get a drink after the Super Bowl because of the line. Overall, I would stay here again, but the line at the airport was terrible, they landed six planes at the same time, and it took forever to get through customs. May not come back to Cancun for that reason.

Location was good-just 15 min ride from airport, but there wasn’t much nearby to go to. My husband and I supposedly got a room upgrade (from *******) and our room was nice, but it was one of the loudest rooms we’ve ever stayed in: young (adults) screaming, slamming doors, running the hallway, all hours of the night. One night we called the front desk but unfortunately—nothing changed. On a positive note, all the service staff at Wyndham were GREAT; very friendly and helpful—specifically Angel at lobby bar and Francisco at the jacuzzi bar!! Both were exceptionally great. Food overall was good, pretty standard for all-inclusive. Our stay overall was good, but prob won’t return a second time.

The Wyndham Grand Cancún is a gorgeous property. The staff was excellent and professional. The ocean view room was very nice. The all inclusive food was great! The drinks were on the weak side and you had to join a membership to get top shelf alcohol. They try and sell you on their timeshare membership the second you hit the door so be prepared for that. Over all a nice property that I would stay at again.

Great all inclusive with a nice beach and swim up pool bar. Drink service with waiters could have been more consistent and food was decent. Overall a good week for all inclusive.

I was somewhat surprised that you needed to make dinner reservations every morning. The staff were nice, but sometimes it felt they were understaffed and were unable to give good service. The food was ok, not one meal I had was delicious it was just ok. Was very surprised by the lack of seafood options- did not see lobster anywhere. If you are handicapped or struggle with doing stairs this is not a place to go, out by the pools there are many steps to go down to get to the next pool, hot tub or to the beach.

Lot of entitled people from the the Canada and US who want to take over everything and bully people around. Staff doesn’t do much to mitigate any situation except for making sure their reputation is intact. Toilet had a blockade. No upgrades or room change offered. Swimming pool area crowded with squatters who don’t want to share the space. Hotel far away from happening places. Not great place if you want to spend your valuable time and money at cancun. Buffet food tastes like plastic.

The resort seemed quite complete, cozy, and beautiful to me. The rooms were very clean, fragrant, and nice. Overall, I had a good experience with the facilities

Questions/Concerns were not handled quickly or well. No hot water in room & the response from the hotel was "run the water longer" which didn't fix the issue.
