It is said to be the best hotel in the area, with large rooms and decent facilities. However, there is nothing to eat except fruits for breakfast, and the restaurant is even more disappointing. The hotel environment is totally serene, nestled in nature. A tad bit too far from city central, if you don’t have a private car. Bolt taxis are readily available though.
The food was great. My husband enjoyed every last bite. The pool is amazing. The internet connection is fast and uninterrupted.
Major disappointments : the shower didn’t bless us with hot water, even after a man from maintenance came to assist with the problem. We had issues with the AC throughout our stay, luckily we were provided with a stand-alone fan. Most of the channels on the tv did not play, especially when it rained. FromPHP 3,834

Reception was neither aware of my booking nor of my payment. Manager needs to communicate. It took long time to figure out WiFi passwords. They should be available in the room or at the reception.
Otherwise, my stay was good. The restaurant has a good menu and the food and service was always good. All staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is top notch and located in a serene area. The rooms were so comfy. The food was great, and the bar by the pool side was extraordinary with some awesome music.

What I liked:
• The room was clean and visually appealing at first glance, with nice décor and a comfortable bed.
• The lakeside setting is peaceful and scenic — perfect for relaxing.
What needs improvement:
• The room was quite small and tight, making it hard to move around comfortably.
• The TV was difficult to operate and not user-friendly at all.
• Hot water took a long time to come through, which was frustrating.
• The main door was very hard to close, and on more than one occasion I found it left slightly open — a potential security concern.
• Breakfast was disappointing: it was cold, had limited variety, and didn’t feel fresh.
• Overall, the room and facilities didn’t match the price point — it felt overpriced for what was offered.
Selella has potential, especially given its beautiful location, but a lot needs to be improved in terms of service, room functionality, and value for money before I’d consider returning or recommending it.FromPHP 3,106
