Great place to stay

The hotel is drowning in green, beautiful, hospitable territory. The bungalow has terraces. Location is unsuccessful. 5 minutes from the sea, but there is an empty beach, no lying and umbrella. Go to the lying is quite far, 15 minutes on the coast. The room has everything except hot water)) Breakfast is not very good. There is no coffee, only soluble coffee. Even a tea boiler is required separately. Only eggs and fruit can be eaten from the whole Swedish table. Staff in Russian does not speak, not very rushing

I went during the monsoon season and the hostel had to take precautions to prevent any flooding, by putting up huge covers which kind of made it seem like it was under construction. So if you are going during the monsoon season don't be surprised if it doesn't look like the pictures. I had no complaints as at least it prevented flooding. The staff were all amazing and very nice, just not it is a cashless hostel so everything is through their app. I went during off peak so not much of a hostel vibe and people mostly sticked to their own groups. Nothing much around the hostel except a few cafes but has a very calm and relaxing environment. It is also a 5 min walk to Mandrem beach where u can walk ***** the full beach to go to Arambol and also to Sweet water lake. All in all service and cleanliness was great, location was alright and not much facilities except a small pool.

The location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because it’s a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel. There’s work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again.

Those who go as I stay in silence and calm this hotel will not fit categorically!!!!!! Very loud music from morning to morning and noise and gams of locals from bar and pool as all the room windows go out to the pool and bar,When booking it I didn't see that here except for separate rooms there is a hostel .For my comments about music, The administrator replied that people come here to rest. I said,I don't like,you can go,but the money won't be returned for the unused days.I would have been happy to change the hotel on the first day,yes 41...t was a pity to lose.And who goes out with the morning to the morning,I'll think well, Only to the sea is far, on the mountain itself.The number is big.

Great hotel: spacious rooms, polite service, large clean pool, quiet around. Delicious and saturated breakfasts, comfortable bed. Recommend!!! ❤️ Detriments: wi-fi catches not in the whole room (in India so everywhere), up to the sea 15 minutes walk (distant). P.S. settlement from 13: 00, expulsion at 11: 00

Easy to get there by taxi from the airport. The hotel is on the first line! The rooms are very simple, the linens need to be updated. Beautiful sunsets. Book a room in the cottages (not in the main building). Breakfasts are normal. The staff is very friendly. If you go out to the beach and go right, then in 5 minutes behind the rocks there is the restaurant ”Black Horse” - delicious seafood at affordable prices. If you go out to the beach and go left, then in 10 minutes there is a modern restaurant with good music ”Tiki”. If you leave the hotel on the road and go right, then in 10 minutes there will be shops, a pharmacy, a fruit stand. Surfing lessons are taught on the beach, you can agree on training.

Property is worth staying. The ambience is good. Food is ok. It is on morjim beach and you can have a sea view from few rooms. Worth staying

I recently stayed at Woodpegger by the beach and it was an absolute delight. The property offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The rooms are cozy, clean and well maintained. The staff were highly hospitable and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The proximity of the beach is a huge bonus, right from the soothing sound of the waves to stunning sunsets. Restaurant serves delicious food with a good mix of Goan flavours and international cuisine. Everything we tried was fresh and flavourful. This is perfect for anyone looking for peaceful, beachside gateway in Goa. It’s also pet friendly. Will visit soon!
