The location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because it’s a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel.
There’s work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again.FromDKK 409

First night in Goa: Bungalow with an atmosphere but without air conditioning
Stop for the night in the bungalow on the day of arrival to Goa. The hotel area is nice and pleasant, staff on the recession is friendly, helped to deliver heavy things. The houses are close to each other, in two lines. The small load was quiet and quiet. There are signs of silence on the territory.
The bungalo itself is made of fine material, the windows – are for ventilation.
‼️ The main minus – there is no air conditioner, only a fan. In hot and hot weather this can be a problem, especially for people with heart disease. The next day I moved to another place with the air conditioner.

I liked the restaurant – pleasant atmosphere and delicious dishes.
• Tuna salad – is amazing, about 700 rubles
• Breakfast on the menu – delicious, 1200 rubles

• The next day it was possible to book for 2400 rubles – it is worth checking prices before booking
Output:

Easy to get there by taxi from the airport. The hotel is on the first line! The rooms are very simple, the linens need to be updated. Beautiful sunsets. Book a room in the cottages (not in the main building). Breakfasts are normal. The staff is very friendly. If you go out to the beach and go right, then in 5 minutes behind the rocks there is the restaurant ”Black Horse” - delicious seafood at affordable prices. If you go out to the beach and go left, then in 10 minutes there is a modern restaurant with good music ”Tiki”. If you leave the hotel on the road and go right, then in 10 minutes there will be shops, a pharmacy, a fruit stand. Surfing lessons are taught on the beach, you can agree on training.FromDKK 372

The hotel generally enjoyed, breakfast was normal more located to the Indian kitchen. But the minus that didn't like it was walking on the sea, it was necessary to go through the houses of locals. Suresh (owner) to confirm the bookings and ensure everything went well. He responded well with every details i needed. Once reaching, the hotel staff took care of everything. The stay and the rooms at thalassa beach resort are nicely designed and well maintained. However, the breakfast with the stay is not worthy of thalassa, it’s quite funny to see that a usually elaborate restaurant is serving basic breakfast that is worthy of a 2 or 3 star property. The beach access is also not great as the beach facing thalassa is not accessible due to its rocky nature. Which defeats the objective of it being beachfront. The rooms are good though. |3.5km from city centerThe location of Riva is excellent. Right on the quietest part of the beach, but still very accessible to beach shacks and restaurants. There are 3 pools on the premises and the spa services are great. Check in and check out was so smooth. I really wish I could rate Riva higher because it’s a beautiful resort with hospitable staff and it has the potential to be very relaxing. However the food was a huge letdown. Goa is known as an amazing culinary experience, and I wish Riva was able to offer food that was upto Goan standards. I ordered a soup at the cafe and it was substandard to say the least. The sambhar and veg gravy the next morning was watered down and then over salted. Fortunately my resourceful family was able to find some amazing food options outside the hotel.
There’s work to do and I will wait to hear of better food reviews before I recommend or visit again.

Book a room in the cottages (not in the main building). Breakfasts are normal. The staff is very friendly. If you go out to the beach and go right, then in 5 minutes behind the rocks there is the restaurant ”Black Horse” - delicious seafood at affordable prices. If you go out to the beach and go left, then in 10 minutes there is a modern restaurant with good music ”Tiki”. If you leave the hotel on the road and go right, then in 10 minutes there will be shops, a pharmacy, a fruit stand. Surfing lessons are taught on the beach, you can agree on training.
