Spacious room, desk for work space is good and comfortable. Suitable for business traveler like me. But i dont like the room at level 3, when they are doing construction work at 4.30am, very noisy and I can’t sleep properly. Mattress and bed, pillows very comfortable. But the most important, they cant maintain cleanliness level up to the standard. When at morning i went out for breakfast i found the rubbish front of my door. My room was at the end of the row. Maybe other guests just use my front door as their dumpster. But what shocked me most, when i went out from my room. There was house keeper there, but when i talked to him about cleaning the rubbish he just said to me wait for office instructions. Really unbelievable! No urgency to clear the rubbish and their housekeeper standard of cleanliness really bad!

It was ok, very basic. Lots of drinking water. Cons: - Bathroom could do with upkeep, massive hole between door and door frame. Should be a full sized door. Not hygienic. - Two single beds but they are tiny. Not comfortable for two adults to sleep in. - Small TV, not even a modern TV. For hotels price, should at least have a decent TV. - Soundproofing not great but was quiet during our time. - music in hallways was kept on all night, we had to tell them to turn it off... - we could smell smoke inside our room & bathroom from other people smoking in their rooms - Breakfast was AWFUL, even if included it's better to go out for food. Hygiene in buffet for breakfast was poor, with flies in the fruit and salad. - Front desk staff not very supportive or helpful.

I only stayed one day in Ipoh as a stopover. This hotel isn't in the city center, and it's not particularly close to the train station either. However, there are some other small shops within the same building, which makes for a decent collection. The environment is pretty good; it has an industrial design, but it doesn't look run-down. The room was small, but it matched the price. The first room we were given had a connecting door to the next room, so we asked to switch, and the front desk lady cheerfully changed it for us. There's a gym with treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and some strength training equipment. Not many people seemed to use the gym, but the environment was nice and air-conditioned. I worked out for an hour and felt great afterwards.

This is my 2nd time staying and I thk it’s improved especially on the services and housekeeping. I choosed here because it’s strategically located and easy access. Just to highlight on the pillow which quite soft and I need 2 pillows to sleep but when I slept on 2 pillows seem like abit high. Perhaps management need to add 1 is firm and 1 is soft. I stayed at the biggest family room and hope management can add a partition next to the bed head that facing the main door. At the beginning my kids having not so comfortable sleeping the head facing the main door but luckily they are ok on 2nd nights. Otherwise, everything is fine for us.

The hotel accommodated early checkin for us at 1.00 pm. We are allocated a room at the 5th floor. Room size was right for 2 pax. The toilet n bath room are separate with a pull door. There are Indian food, dim sum restaurant n coffee shop around the hotel. Free shutter service around the old n new towns. The driver, Mr Addy did a fantastic service during our trip by driving us around and provided wonderful food recommendations.

Good Budget Stay in Ipoh After a long drive, I chose Ritz Garden Hotel Ipoh for a short rest. The hotel is centrally located near Ipoh city and heritage attractions. Early morning check-in was smooth, and the staff were helpful in guiding parking at the back of the building. The lobby looks nice, and free parking is provided via an internal sky bridge. The room was clean with no unpleasant smell. Although there was no window and soundproofing was average, the lighting, air conditioning, and bed were comfortable enough for a good rest. This was my second stay here, and I still love the spacious room. Everything was perfect overall. 🤩 This time, we were a little unlucky because the room suddenly had a blackout in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. The next morning, after we called the service counter, the staff came to check and found that an electrical wire had burned out. They kindly offered to let us change rooms several times, but since we were checking out soon, it was fine for us to stay. The staff also apologized sincerely during check-out. Despite this small issue, I would definitely stay here again because the location is excellent, very close to tourist attractions and the highway.👍

What I liked most was the hotel's location, right in the heart of Ipoh Old Town, with many famous coffee shops, eateries, and attractions nearby, mostly within walking distance, which was incredibly convenient. Spent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price. The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. Upon arrival the 2 contact details provided don't respond and it's really annoying and disappointing. 1 contact go into voicemail box and another will never pick up the call which somehow give you the impression of the host is not reliable(Attached conversation without reply) The property manager or agent that host these property really need to be more professional. The unit is full of new paintings and the smell cause lots of discomfort(Attached the toilet door with new paint) The bidet or sprinkler is broken and the water is scattered around and cause our clothes and toilet paper all wet!!!(Attached photo broken bidet) They don't install ventilation fan on the toilet and when you open the window for air circulation your neighbors could see you.Their intentions is very clear which is they don't bother the comfort of the guest(Attached photo of when open up the toilet window for ventilation the upper floor could see through hence no privacy while shower.You shower with window close and its felt suffocating after a while!!!) As Ipoh is famous for eateries to our surprise when we packed our supper home the utensils is really disappointing.The host barely provides you any plates and utensils.Maybe just 4 cups 4 plates as if anything extra will cause them a million dollars investment.You can't find extra waste plastic bags or toilet paper.They simply being too calculative and don't provide any extra even you are using it to keep their unit clean at least if you provide me with extra waste plastic bags we could pack our waste and keep it clean and hygiene instead. Each room only 2 towels for shower and no pools towel provided.Very inconsiderate!!! The worst part is they will sent you a check out instructions 6am in the morning to wake you up!!! If you having a peak booking on our check out date you may sent a reminder for checkout but please not at 6am in the morning !!! I think Trip.Com should check on your agent quality and set a minimum standards.The property host is really disappointed we don't have time to waste so we just put up with it and write a review after check out.

Excellent services, the owner is very kind to let us check in to hotel earlier, we could have a rest after few hours driving from KL. The living room, dining area and rooms are clean and aircon is cooling in all the rooms except for living hall. The kids enjoyed swimming in the infinity pool, great view and easy to access. The location is fantastic, convenient for us to move around in Ipoh and easy to find nice food and grocery.

I stayed here for a solo 2-day, 1-night trip. I love the Bali vibe, and the moment I saw it on a travel site, I knew this was the place and booked it. The interior definitely exuded that Balinese atmosphere, which was lovely. What I particularly liked was the spacious bathtub. With cushions to support your back and a ceiling about 3 meters high, it was a very open and relaxing space where I could unwind. Also, after check-out, they held my bag for me, and while I was killing time, the reception staff offered me lemongrass water. I was so touched by their thoughtfulness. Thank you! On the other hand, there were a few disappointing points. There was a leak in the bathroom, poor TV connection, no conditioner in the bathroom, and no salt or pepper on the dining table during breakfast (I think it would be more efficient if they confirmed the room number with guests, then seated them, confirmed their order, and then prepared the food). The reception area was hot, and because it's outdoors, there were inevitably insects that sometimes landed on the food. Some of these issues were promptly addressed by the maintenance team, and they even prepared two types of breakfast for me. The location, being a bit away from the city center, was quiet and peaceful, which was nice.

The spa is just 3 steps away from my room 😆 The whole hotel is full of the aromatherapy smell! Great hospitality too, they gave us welcoming drink and provided complementary snacks in the room. But I would prefer they give out bottle water. We found out housekeeping didn’t replace the water bottle. I went to get a full body massage as well, great value

Cleanliness 4* cos i believe there are still room for improvement, by replacing some old part of rooms and repair some old part of rooms at the Same Time to check on their hot water in the shower bath as the temperature is very inconsistent, im not complaining about water temperature, im complaining about water temperature consistency Location wise 4* as it is the best location in ipoh town area Services 4* their management meet all guidance of hotel services criteria Amenities 1* as i notice that their cleaner doesn't replace new toothbrush, toothpaste, shaver and my snacks on my next stay, usually hotel with such 4-5* grading should replenish it without hotel guest asking, unless management grade themself as 2* hotel

A street away from Ipoh Parade, swimming pool without nearby bathing facilities unlike some hotels in Malaysia so if the whole family went for the swim we need to take turns for showering. Hotel breakfast is fairly limited compared to some hotels in Johor Bahru and only good if not to travel out for breakfast. Will rate it 4 over 5 for location and accessibility.

A special shoutout to Umesh from the control room and Ika at the reception. They acted promptly, thoroughly verified the situation, and safely returned the bracelet to me. The room was spacious and the living room was fully equipped. It felt like facing the tropical rainforest, very quiet, and the pools were numerous and fun. There's a 500-meter lakeside running track, giving you the feeling of running in a tropical rainforest. Breakfast was plentiful. The hotel has strict security management, and the overall environment is very quiet, making it a great resort for long stays.

Spent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price. The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The hotel has a modern design and is equipped with a Face ID-like entry system, which adds a nice touch of technology. All the room switches are touchscreen as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really loved the bathroom design, especially the electronically operated toilet seat very much like the ones you’d find in Japan. They also provide complimentary snacks and carbonated drinks, which was a nice bonus. Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for its price. Great comfort, modern facilities, and plenty of thoughtful touches. Would definitely consider staying here again.

This is my 2nd time staying and I thk it’s improved especially on the services and housekeeping. I choosed here because it’s strategically located and easy access. Just to highlight on the pillow which quite soft and I need 2 pillows to sleep but when I slept on 2 pillows seem like abit high. Perhaps management need to add 1 is firm and 1 is soft. I stayed at the biggest family room and hope management can add a partition next to the bed head that facing the main door. At the beginning my kids having not so comfortable sleeping the head facing the main door but luckily they are ok on 2nd nights. Otherwise, everything is fine for us.
