This is our second stay at Hotel Settles. It has become a regular stopping point for our annual trip from Dallas to Ruidoso. The renovations that have been done to restore this historic landmark are spectacular. Everything is modern while retaining the 100 year old charm of the hotel. If you have reason to stop over between Abilene and Odessa, I'd always recommend a night at the Hotel Settles. ....... There's absolutely nothing to do in Big Spring, so you can relax.

It was clean and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I think breakfast is an amenity, but I don’t know that they are doing that right now with the pandemic. I didn’t see anything around 0700, but I was in the main area for other reasons. I do think hotels should stop making you pay more for this amenity if they can’t offer it regardless of the reason, but I have seen many hotels doing this. I cannot say enough about how nice the staff is though and how will they are to help you.
