The overall experience of this stay exceeded expectations. The hotel is very conveniently located and it is very convenient to travel and eat. The room was clean and tidy, there was no smell, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was very stable to sleep. The bathroom facilities are intact, the hot water supply is stable, and the toiletries are complete. The room has good lighting and ventilation, sound insulation effect is OK, and the rest at night will not be disturbed by external noise. The public area environment is maintained in place, and the overall environment is clean and elegant. The price is very good, whether it is a short-term trip or a temporary stay is very suitable. the owner was so friendly and helpful. they brought us to the entrqnce personally. i only found out that there were two main entrances when i arrived. The North and West entrance. I ended up staying at the West entrance. Not much activities at night. The North was a lot more shops and restaurants around the area. One thing I like was the quietness and the hospitality shown by the owner. They provide a lot of water and a fruit platter too. We walked to the entrance the next morning. Only took about 15 min. Problem is the shuttle busses were not so frequent in the morning session from the West gate. One point to consider. Other than that, this place is superb for less noise. Thank you.

I visited Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park and stayed at Shiguang Manji, and I genuinely feel like I made a great choice, no regrets! It's incredibly close to the scenic area, just a 7-8 minute walk to the entrance. After watching the sunset, you don't have to bother with a long journey back, and the owner even offers free pickup and drop-off, which is a huge relief when returning after dark. The room was meticulously cleaned, every nook and cranny was spotless, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, making for a very comfortable stay. Given how dry it is in the Northwest, they provided a humidifier in the room, so my throat didn't feel dry when sleeping at night – that's a real bonus. After a day of walking, my legs were tired, and once I lay down on the bed, I didn't want to get up. The mattress was a zero-pressure type, quite comfortable to sleep on, and the smart home features were convenient. When I was too lazy to move, I could just use voice control, which is great for lazy people. The owner is very down-to-earth; they even made us 'San Pao Tai' tea upon check-in and offered local apricots to try. They also shared tips on how to best explore the scenic area and which observation deck offered the best sunset views for photos, without being pushy salespeople. Overall, it felt very comfortable. It's also convenient for dining and buying small items nearby. For anyone planning a trip to Zhangye Danxia, I highly recommend considering this place.

Our stay at Colorful Danxia Flower House Hotel was truly exceptional—easily a 5-star experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even personally helping us carry our luggage upstairs. His hospitality didn’t stop there—he kindly assisted us in booking tickets for a local show and even drove us there himself, which made our trip so much more convenient and enjoyable. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards. We also really appreciated the free laundry service, which was incredibly helpful during our travels. The location is perfect—just a short walking distance to the west entrance of the Danxia park, making it easy to explore. Right across the hotel is a fantastic restaurant, so finding great food was effortless. To top it all off, the owner even prepared thoughtful departing gifts for us, which was such a warm and memorable touch. His kindness and attentiveness truly set this place apart. If you’re visiting the area, this hotel is an outstanding choice.

The hotel is very close to the west gate of colorful Danxia. There are few people entering the scenic spot to take a sightseeing bus, and there are not many vendors, and it is friendly to tourists with tight time. The boss is very good! The Sichuan restaurant at the entrance of the scenic spot is not authentic and very unpalatable, and it is not built to try.

Facilities: Very complete. The hairdryer works great, drying my hair quickly. Disposable bath towels, slippers, and even toilet seat covers were provided. It's only a 700-meter walk to the Colorful Danxia scenic area. Hygiene: Very clean, no strange odors, and everything was tidied up perfectly. Environment: The surrounding area is decent, but the hotel's interior environment is truly amazing! Service: We almost missed our trip to the scenic area, but the owner personally drove us there – so incredibly welcoming. The next day, he even drove us to Kangle Grassland. Overall, I highly recommend staying here! The price is right, the environment is good, and the service is excellent.

The hotel is very close to the Danxia Scenic Area. It was late after we finished exploring the area, so it was super convenient to get to the hotel. There's parking available right downstairs. The staff were really welcoming and even helped us with our luggage without us asking. I was traveling with two kids, and the front desk thoughtfully gave us an extra pair of slippers and an additional set of disposable towels and bath towels. These small details really showed how considerate they were. The room's curtains and lighting were smart, which was very convenient to use. The only slight downside was that breakfast was at a nearby diner and was a bit simple.

We arrived at the Colorful Danxia scenic area by car around 7 PM. After buying night tour tickets and watching the show, we checked into the hotel. The front desk staff, a very kind young lady, upgraded us to a family room and even gave us free VR experience tickets for the scenic area. The next day, we rushed to enter the park at 6:30 AM with the first group. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient. After our visit, we were just in time for the buffet breakfast. The service was excellent, the bedding was comfortable, and the breakfast was abundant. This place offers incredible value for money. I can't understand where those negative reviews came from (I almost missed out because of them).

Location-wise, the camp is right next to the West Gate of the Danxia scenic area, making travel incredibly convenient. No need for roundabout detours; I could step out early in the morning to catch the Danxia sunrise. This fantastic location also saved me a lot of effort when it came to stargazing at night. Now, let's talk about the Starry Sky Yurt. Before I arrived, I was a bit worried about roughing it in a tent out in the wilderness, but my stay completely changed my mind. The yurt was spotlessly clean and tidy, well-ventilated with no strange odors. The bed was soft and comfortable, and despite the large temperature swings in the Gobi Desert between day and night, the interior was well-insulated and never felt cold or damp. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with 24-hour hot water and a full range of toiletries. It truly offered a luxurious wilderness experience that blended comfort with ambiance, without compromising on daily conveniences. However, the panoramic skylight at the top of the yurt was the real highlight and the biggest surprise of my trip. The camp is far from the city, meaning almost no light pollution. As night fell, the entire sky was unblocked and spread out above me. I didn't even have to step outside into the wind; I could lie in bed and gaze up at the countless stars. The Milky Way stretched clearly across the mountains, with stars so bright and dense – a magnificent night sky rarely seen in the city. Lying there quietly, watching the celestial river flow and listening to the distant Gobi breeze, all my travel fatigue slowly melted away. It was incredibly romantic and healing. The camp's amenities were also very thoughtful. In the evening, you can enjoy a starlit BBQ and hotpot. After dinner, there's a bonfire party. Then, after a stroll, you return to your yurt to continue enjoying the tranquil starry sky. The self-driving parking area is spacious, and RV resupply facilities are comprehensive. The staff were warm and meticulous in their service; they thoughtfully informed me of the best stargazing times and were always on hand to help with any issues. The unique Danxia mountain light show at night, coupled with the vast starry sky, created a multi-layered and stunning view. The special clear-broth suoyang hotpot was authentic and generously portioned, perfect for a hot meal after a day of exploring. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with friends, the Starry Sky Yurt is an exceptionally suitable choice. You can admire the Danxia landforms up close and immerse yourself in lying under the Milky Way – it perfectly combines natural beauty with comfortable accommodation. This is an unmissable gem when visiting Danxia, and I will definitely choose the Starry Sky Yurt again on my next trip to Zhangye.
