Very cozy and beautiful cottages on the ocean shore. Two days off and would be happy to stay. Inside everything from the tree, design is made with taste. There is a bedroom, a Japanese-style room with footons (we decided to sleep in it), a cellar room and a spacious lounge area. And in the evening it is very nice to lie in the bath. The host is a very nice old man.

I was originally planning to visit Hachijojima, but my flight was canceled on the day of departure, so I ended up heading to Izu Oshima instead. Looking for a place to stay at the last minute, I found KON and booked it based on its excellent reviews. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The owner picked me up at the port with a sign, shared information about the island during the drive, and even stopped at scenic spots so I could take photos. I stayed in the main building, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The tatami mats had recently been replaced, giving the room a wonderful fresh scent. The property was well-maintained, well-equipped, and had a nostalgic countryside atmosphere that made it easy to relax. There are several restaurants nearby, including a great ramen shop and a sushi restaurant called Minato sushi by the harbor that I highly recommend. One unexpected highlight was discovering the manga in the room. The title was Kore Kaite Shine, which is set on Izu Oshima. I learned that the author often stays at KON, and the protagonist’s home was reportedly modeled after the guesthouse itself. What started as an unexpected change of plans turned into a fantastic stay. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and unique local charm made this a memorable experience. I would gladly stay at KON again on my next visit to Izu Oshima.

It is conveniently located within walking distance from Okada Port and there is a parking lot right next to it. There is also a dining room and a souvenir shop at Okada Port, so it is conveniently located. Although the single room is small, it is large enough, and I was worried that the tatami floor would be a little creaky, but the sea spreads out from the window in front of me and is clean. Although the shared toilet has a retro atmosphere, there is no problem with the washlet, but there is no heating and cooling, so it may be hot in hot times. The meal is served with rare local fish sashimi, and it is delicious and there are many kinds, even if it is not flashy. Shimapo can be used without problems. I think it's good at home and affordable.　

I was a little worried about staying alone in the dormitory room, but once I closed the curtains, I was able to spend comfortably in a private space. I was personally happy that there was a freezer besides the microwave oven and refrigerator! One thing I was worried about was that I heard that the cafe space in front of the front desk was a free space for guests at night, so I was planning to read manga leisurely in my pajamas. During that time, a pair of men who were not guests appeared, and I was worried that they continued to talk to the young woman at the front desk without ordering. In addition, the woman was doing the front desk tightening work with her friends while making a speaker call (and loud), and there was no environment where she could spend a relaxing time at all. I was like a part-time high school student who was not accustomed to it yet, so I don't think it's the policy of the inn itself, but it was a pity because it wasn't like a tavern around there or a guest house for exchange purposes. I thought that it would be loose because it was an island, but I thought that it would be improved if I stayed again.

It is an inn just up the slope from Okada Port. The car stopped at Okada Port. The inn was very friendly and politely responded to the accessories I lost during my trip after returning to the mainland. Izu Oshima is talking about going again in a very good place, and it became a very nice memory. Thank you.

Fantastic comfortable stay with a family-run business! I stayed at Hotel Kailani during a recent trip to Izu Oshima Island (a ferry ride from Tokyo). The hotel is located on the hills of Habu Port, with waterfront views and 2 minutes walk from one of the best lookout spots on the island. The hotel was clean, quiet, spacious, with plenty of amenities and facilities, and a great breakfast cooked daily by mother and daughter. The staff are very friendly and you can really feel the care and attention that has been given to the hotel. I believe this is one of the best hotels on the island, and I highly recommend it to all travellers!

First of all, there are not many resources for the overall tour of Izu Oshima. Most of the people who see it are middle-aged and elderly hiking. There are not many tourists on weekdays during the burnt-off period. I personally feel that the price of the bus ticket is too high. One-way 9200yan. Then the hotel is in Yuantang Port. Recently, it has docked at Okada Port. It takes half an hour to take the bus. The hotel is very old. The grandfather at the front desk is almost 90. The idea is clear. The simple communication in English is no problem. The hot spring pool is small. Breakfast is Japanese tradition. This destination should not be going again. The bus on the island is also more expensive. It takes more than 1,000 yan one way to the volcano. The one-day ticket seems to be 2050yan. I went to Oshima Park. I don’t need tickets. This is good, including Gion and Zoo, but camellias are not as lush as imagined. The greenhouse is OK.

It was an old hotel, but it was a very good hotel with a taste, and the staff were attentive and warm atmosphere. The room was a nice Japanese room with a calm atmosphere that could see the sea from two directions and felt the Showa period, but the radio wave of Wi-Fi seemed to be not stable except near the front desk. I stayed for 2 nights, but the night rice prepared a different meal for 2 days, and also responded to the additional dishes I asked in a hurry. The bath was more beautiful in the morning and daytime than at night and felt more relaxed. I would like to stay again when I go to Oshima again.
