First time staying in a Radisson property. Shower in bathtub and there was no anti-slip mat provided. Getting out of the tub each time is a huge challenge: the moving glass divider is not a good thing to hold on to. Getting out of the tub has only a small area to land with 2 sharp edges of the basin facing you. As a Radisson Premium, I got upgraded to a ‘Family Room’ with basically an extra bed setup. Its hilarious as there’s two of us, what good does the bed do for us? Upgrade is totally meaningless! They dont provide slippers and gave me all sorts of cock and bull that it used to be provided for each room but Management changed their decision 2 months ago. I asked for it and was declined. Breakfast was average after having exprienced Clarion The Hub. TV Remote offers Netflix but when I clicked on it, it says Netflix is not available. Called Front Desk and they told me they will try to fix it on their end, and if not possible, will send a technician up. I have checked out after 3 nights and still no technician cane. There is a massive construction opposite the Hotel: a building being destroyed so noise and air pollution greet you daily. Location is walking distance to Oslo Central Station, 10 minutes walk to Munch Museum. Service from all Staff is nothing worth mentioning. Staff are all simply functional: my first and last time staying in a Radisson Property. They can remove my Premium status for all I care. Room 1725

Absolutely loved the location. Central and close to the water. I loved the concept of this hotel. Budget, no frills, comfortable and ecologically sound. Cleaning is every four days which is genius. There is no need to have your room cleaned daily. Congratulations on creating a system that is environmentally conscious. There is also a drawer where you can donate any clothes you don’t want to take with you, contributing to the local circular economy.

We checked in late at night and immediately noticed a noise in the room, similar to an electrical humming sound. As I am sensitive to noise, I soon developed a headache. I contacted the front desk, and although two staff members came to check, they said they could not hear anything and only offered soft earplugs. I also sent an email for help but never received a reply. The next day, I spoke to the front desk again, and the daytime staff kindly moved us to a higher floor. The noise was still there, though slightly less noticeable. Interestingly, it even stopped for a short while around 7 a.m. Unfortunately, the poor rest affected both my trip experience and my mood.

The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is acceptable, and the service attitude is just average. The price is reasonable, but the value for money is moderate, suitable for a one-night stay. The overall experience was mediocre. The room wasn't very spacious, and the soundproofing wasn't great. The front desk staff's attitude was okay, but the check-in process was slow. I hope they can improve their service and maintenance.

I had a fantastic time at Clarion Hotel: The Hub in Oslo. The rooms were large, clean, and quiet. I was on the 12th floor and navigating around the hotel was easy. Everything from check-in, to using facilities, to getting around the city was made better by staying here. The hotel has a small pool, two gym areas, and two saunas on the basement floor which were all great to use. The facilities were clean and modern. Even though the facilities are on the smaller side, it was never too busy that you couldn't use them. I used the gym, pool, and sauna every day, at different times of the day, and it was never too crowded. Finally, this hotel has one of the most incredible breakfast buffets I've ever experienced. The food is SO good and I'm so grateful that there were options for both meat eaters and vegans too. Overall a 10/10 experience.

The room was a little bit too small as well as the bed if its for two people, you can barely move around for the case like you have luggages and rucksacks. Feels so pressured staying in. While given the affordable price and the good location, the place is alright for a short stay. Not much facilities are available, don't give high expectation, while it's just a okay place for sleep.

The hotel is a bit older, but the rooms are very well maintained. I was surprised, however, that a double room was equipped with two single duvets – a setup I actually found quite comfortable. The blonde girl with the ponytail at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I booked the hotel specifically because reviews raved about the breakfast, and I found it quite good. They even offered hot broccoli and cabbage, which was a nice touch for those with a Chinese palate. The location is excellent. It's right next to a lively commercial street, and you can walk to the Central Station, art gallery, and museum in about ten to fifteen minutes.

The location is excellent, the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food, especially breakfast, offers a remarkable variety and, what's more, it tastes very, very good. The price is reasonable, or rather, cheap. The only downside: The rooms weren't cleaned once during our three days. Perhaps we overlooked this when booking and should have requested it. But we would definitely book this hotel again. Another suggestion for improvement (which doesn't affect our rating): There are fringe hanging from the armchairs, some of which are torn or ripped off. It would be a visual improvement if the fringe were removed completely.

Excellent location, just walk out from Oslo station and you can see the hotel and have access to the hotel’s level 2 directly. Easy access to airport. Arrived late at night. Check in process was efficient. Staff was polite and offered me a free bottled mineral water which was a kind gesture as the waters/drinks in mini fridge are chargeable. Small compact room but sufficient. Kettle and steam iron available in the room which are very useful. The room is too cold for me though, I think it is around 20-21degC, I tried to adjust temperature to be warmer to 24degC but it was not possible. The restaurant staff are polite and friendly especially the staff at restaurant reception. Good breakfast, plenty of choices, particularly I like the fresh juice/smoothies. When I booked this hotel, I read everyone's reviews, which were extremely extreme. There are good reviews and bad reviews! Only when I checked in did I understand why. We booked standard rooms throughout the trip, but we stayed in two time periods. The first time we arrived was around 9 a.m. on Sunday. We originally thought we wouldn't be able to check in early, but we didn't expect that all 4 rooms were available. It was really timely for us after a long flight. During my two-night stay this time, the room was quite large and even equipped with a coffee machine! Apart from a few dirty cups and insufficient heating, there were no problems! But when we checked in for the second time, the room we were given was smaller and there was no coffee machine, but it didn't matter if we only stayed for one night! The only problem is that the shower head in the shower room is not very good, and the water is very slow and easy to accumulate water! There is still no heating ~ In addition, the location of the hotel is really good, it is adjacent to Metro Line 4.5! There is a co-op supermarket next to it, open until 23:00.

The location is fantastic. The hotel provides for basic facilities. Breakfast can be pre-booked. But it lacks some basic amenties: 1. It lacks a telephone in each room. How are we to reach out to the reception in case of any support ? 2. Majority of travellers from Asia will not carry things like electric plugs (Norway has a typical plug ). So the only way is to now purchase it from a shop. Even that is fine, if you reach the hotel at an odd hour then we will have to wait for the shop to open to purchase the connector/plug. 3. TV channels lack basic english channels. Nowadays satellite channels are cheap atleast connect the TVs to the internet for streaming youtube. 4. Rooms have hangers but lack cupboards. 5. No dental kits or shaving kits etc.

The hotel is conveniently located less than a 10-minute walk from the Royal Palace, a 15-minute walk from the fortress, and a 15-minute walk from the central train station. The room was very clean and, although small, well-designed, it didn't feel cramped. There was a kettle in the room, but no slippers or toiletries, as is typical for Norwegian hotels. The service was good, but we were unable to check out late because the hotel was fully booked and needed to clean the room early, which is understandable.

Oslo City Center Oslo|0.56km from city center
The location was conveniently close to major sites like Oslo's Central station and all the attractions in Karl Johan's Gate. We could see both the Oslo Opera House, Munch Museum and Oslofjord from our room's window. It is a short walk to many good restaurants, cafes and shops as well as some convenience stores. The area is pretty walkable but you just have to watch out for uneven pavement. Bus 30 has a stop right in front of the hotel and many of the museums worth making a trip out of the city centre for are on this route. The ”barception” combines both a bar and a reception area. There is plenty of seating in the lobby which also functions as the breakfast area in the morning. The reception desk also has a small convenience store where you can purchase snacks, drinks and some sandwiches but it is a little bit pricier than the nearby convenience stores and supermarkets. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly during our stay and we visited a few times and received information and assistance quickly. We were initially worried because there was only one working elevator during our stay but that was only an issue a couple of times. We liked our room with the furnishings provided but would say it is very dim. We got a corner room which had a work space, a bench by the window, a chair and a good sized bed. We appreciated that there were several coat hooks on the walls to hang our winter clothing on when we visited. The hotel promotes sustainability throughout and while the lighting is perfect in the hallways and common areas we found our three small lights and two bedside lamps did not provide enough lighting in the evening which comes early in December. The TV was a big flat screen but unfortunately the smart features were disabled and the programming available is a little dry at this hotel. The amenities at the hotel are sufficient but I booked believing that there would be laundry facilities on site which there isn't. They recommended going to a sister property which was about a 10-15 minute walk away and online had one laundry machine and we were lucky not to have to wait long to get it done. Kettles and extra pillows are available upon request. Our favourite part of the bathroom was the heated floor which made the bathroom nice and cozy. The shower had swinging doors on both sides which helped open up the space when it wasn't in use but it didn't provide a perfect seal to keep the water in during a shower. Thankfully the heated floor helped evaporate the overflow quickly. The shower pressure was good but it was initially tricky to get the right temperature. We appreciated that there was plenty of counter space in the bathroom which made up for the lack of ventilation so use the toilet wisely. The breakfast was pretty good. There was a good variety of hot and cold items including smoked salmon, pancakes, chia seed cups, overnight oats, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese and an area to make your own yoghurt bowl with toppings. They also had a tea/coffee area with plenty of additives like non-sugar sweeteners and creamed honey. We liked the fruit platters but found by the time we went they were largely picked over and they were the less desirable pieces leftover. We started each of our days off right with a decent breakfast each morning. Comfort Hotel has seemingly taken over Oslo in this area and there are quite a few locations. We picked this hotel because it was pretty central for our itinerary, was fairly priced and it has decent sized rooms.

Beautiful city, warm hotel. Every staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very special and rich in variety. The restaurant manager will deliver special drinks at the table and ask about the feeling; The morning bus was scheduled to leave the store, the front desk arranged breakfast in advance, and the luggage was stored for free (it is very convenient to go to the fjord to play so lightly). Take the train from the airport to the city (not the central train station but the next stop), and walk for more than ten minutes to the hotel after leaving the station. The location is actually very good, a few minutes to the palace, next to the Canadian embassy. The room is big enough, the family room living room and bedroom have a half-walled child sleeping on the sofa bed. The room has breakfast but because the hotel can't prepare a light meal take-out box, that is, sandwiches and fruits and drinks, it is also a basic problem. Check-in time is as late as ever, but the hotel has a room to check in at 12 o'clock, which is good.

The room won't be big enough to just carry luggage and walk. But it is very clean and tidy. The biggest selling point is actually the buffet breakfast! There are so many varieties, although I don't like to eat, but I can't deny that in the high price of Norway, this is definitely a hotel with high cost performance. In addition, if you go to the train station, take a taxi for 3 minutes, about 169 yuan, and take a taxi carefully. Walk 1.6 kilometers, about 20 minutes. 2 subway stations.

It was a really excellent hostel. Clean. Has all facilities and in the perfect location. The only thing I can suggest hostel improvement is to ask guests what they plan on doing at the hostel as, I stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm and only met 2 people my age who wanted to meet and become friends and hang out etc. The rest were boring 50+ and even one 72 year old who was living there and was a let down as they kept complaining that we were talking after 11pm. For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!
