I had a fantastic time at Clarion Hotel: The Hub in Oslo. The rooms were large, clean, and quiet. I was on the 12th floor and navigating around the hotel was easy. Everything from check-in, to using facilities, to getting around the city was made better by staying here. The hotel has a small pool, two gym areas, and two saunas on the basement floor which were all great to use. The facilities were clean and modern. Even though the facilities are on the smaller side, it was never too busy that you couldn't use them. I used the gym, pool, and sauna every day, at different times of the day, and it was never too crowded. Finally, this hotel has one of the most incredible breakfast buffets I've ever experienced. The food is SO good and I'm so grateful that there were options for both meat eaters and vegans too. Overall a 10/10 experience.

From the hotel it's easy to walk to some of the main tourist attractions and main streets with many supermarkets and convenience stores around. The hotel is a bit older, but the rooms are very well maintained. I was surprised, however, that a double room was equipped with two single duvets – a setup I actually found quite comfortable. The blonde girl with the ponytail at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I booked the hotel specifically because reviews raved about the breakfast, and I found it quite good. They even offered hot broccoli and cabbage, which was a nice touch for those with a Chinese palate. The location is excellent. It's right next to a lively commercial street, and you can walk to the Central Station, art gallery, and museum in about ten to fifteen minutes.

The location is excellent, the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food, especially breakfast, offers a remarkable variety and, what's more, it tastes very, very good. The price is reasonable, or rather, cheap. The only downside: The rooms weren't cleaned once during our three days. Perhaps we overlooked this when booking and should have requested it. But we would definitely book this hotel again. Another suggestion for improvement (which doesn't affect our rating): There are fringe hanging from the armchairs, some of which are torn or ripped off. It would be a visual improvement if the fringe were removed completely.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Oslo S station. It's about a 7-10 minute walk to the MUNCH museum, and we walked from the DFDS cruise terminal in about 15 minutes. The hotel rooms look a bit dated. The staff were all very welcoming. The shower stall was a bit small, and I'm not sure if all Norwegian shower stalls have this corner bifold door design, which made it hard to hold onto.

The hotel location is absolutely fantastic! City attractions are right next door; you can easily explore them on foot in two days. The hotel location was ideal and not far from oslo city centre with a metro station across the road and several bus stops very nearby. Most of the staff were very helpful however there was one gentleman who appeared to assist but then no result to his said actions. Additionally the first room he provided he stated would have view. The view was of the hotel from the window. The room he provided was unclean and filthy. We requested a change to our room with his colleague. She was very helpful and gave us a great room very clean room with a view of the river, but only thing is we had no phone in the room. We requested one but was told one would not available until later on the week. This was not beneficial as we were leaving. The amenities were ok however the hotel had direct access to mini shopping mall which had some lovely coffee shops and general convenience stores, which was great. Therefore we did not eat at the hotel. Overall apart from the above issues it was a pleasant stay and we extended it by a day which was a smooth process and we was able to stay in the same second room.

The location is fantastic. The hotel provides for basic facilities. Breakfast can be pre-booked. But it lacks some basic amenties: 1. It lacks a telephone in each room. How are we to reach out to the reception in case of any support ? 2. Majority of travellers from Asia will not carry things like electric plugs (Norway has a typical plug ). So the only way is to now purchase it from a shop. Even that is fine, if you reach the hotel at an odd hour then we will have to wait for the shop to open to purchase the connector/plug. 3. TV channels lack basic english channels. Nowadays satellite channels are cheap atleast connect the TVs to the internet for streaming youtube. 4. Rooms have hangers but lack cupboards. 5. No dental kits or shaving kits etc.

Located right next to the tourist area, it's very convenient for shopping. There's also a tram stop nearby, and the train station is two stops away. The hotel has a quaint exterior, but the interior is brand new. The rooms are modern and well-equipped, including a fan, kettle, and mini-fridge. The toiletries are also brand-name and smell great. The rooms facing the atrium were very quiet at night, though the windows only opened a crack, making for limited ventilation (and it was a hot day, making it difficult to sleep). The hotel’s location is superb, right by the Oslo S train station and by the main shopping district and main sights. Hotel itself seems rather old. The bathroom especially felt like something out of the 1980s. It was small and water pressure was weak. Also there was no bath mat provided, nor any tissue paper, and no amenities like toothpaste toothbrush or shower cap. As we had paid for a larger room, our room was spacious. But it was noisy from people shouting in the street below even at late hours. Also the hotel did not turn on its central heating nor air conditioning. So the room felt stuffy and you would have to open a window. What saves the hotel is the excellent service. Staff were accommodating on requests we made, including for a takeaway breakfast box on our last day as we were taking an early train.

An old chain hotel in Oslo, it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the Peace Square and the Royal Palace, but the double rooms are on the roadside, there will be noise when the light rail passes by, but fortunately it is very quiet from 11:45 pm to 6:30 am! There are so many varieties, although I don't like to eat, but I can't deny that in the high price of Norway, this is definitely a hotel with high cost performance. It was a really excellent hostel. Clean. Has all facilities and in the perfect location. The only thing I can suggest hostel improvement is to ask guests what they plan on doing at the hostel as, I stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm and only met 2 people my age who wanted to meet and become friends and hang out etc. The rest were boring 50+ and even one 72 year old who was living there and was a let down as they kept complaining that we were talking after 11pm. If the young ones and old ones, or the quiet ones and the meet friends and go out ones are seperated, this hostel could be 5**

It's quite clean, with automatic check-in and check-out. There are also three types of restrooms, so there are plenty available. The common area has a full set of utensils. A Kiwi supermarket is right next door, where I bought a lot of delicious food. The curtains on the bed can be fully drawn for good privacy, and there's storage right next to the bed. Everything is accessed with your own card, so it feels quite secure. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs because this room can get super noisy if there are a lot of people. However, during my stay, everyone was consciously keeping quiet, which was great. It's about a 20-minute bus ride on line 30 to the city center and 50 minutes to the airport. So, I think for this price, the location is excellent!

The room is big enough, the family room living room and bedroom have a half-walled child sleeping on the sofa bed. The room has breakfast but because the hotel can't prepare a light meal take-out box, that is, sandwiches and fruits and drinks, it is also a basic problem. Check-in time is as late as ever, but the hotel has a room to check in at 12 o'clock, which is good.

The hotel is very near all landmarks and easily accessible by train stations and tram. It’s a self check in hotel. The bed and pillows are very comfortable, tho the room is quite small so if you have two big luggages then its already crowded. At the lobby is a bar that is open til late at night and in one night of our stay, there was commotion and so many police came around 3am. It woke me up because of the loud noise of people shouting etc.

The location is perfect — right in the city center, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and the main attractions. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and give local recommendations. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The overall atmosphere felt warm, safe, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Oslo and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

An old chain hotel in Oslo, it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the Peace Square and the Royal Palace, but the double rooms are on the roadside, there will be noise when the light rail passes by, but fortunately it is very quiet from 11:45 pm to 6:30 am! If you want to rest early at night, it is recommended to stay in a double room inside! The buffet is quite rich! But there is no kettle in the room, you can only get it in the lobby if you want to boil water!
