Redondo Beach Resorts

The hotel is great. The beach is right outside. It's also very convenient to find places to eat.

This was my second stay here. The hotel is pretty much my wife’s go to in our trips through Redondo Beach. The stay was just as good if not better than before. The only thing was, there was no hot breakfast due to covid, which I understand. But, the other hotels are providing a sack breakfast, I was just curious as to why this hotel wasn’t? During our first stay, (of course pre-covid) hot breakfast was provided. But overall, excellent stay, and will definitely be staying again!

We live close & had a # of guests stay @ this Crowne Plaza over the past 20 yrs. We wanted a break from the heat by relaxing @ their pool & enjoying AC for a night or 2. Unfortunately, there was NO relaxing @ the pool: 1) it was overcrowded [exceeding max cap. of 25]; 2) there were 20+ little kids w/a # of huge pool toys [not provided]; 3) NO key was needed to enter/exit pool area like usual [easy access 4 anybody]; 4) all beer coolers, homemade food, overuse & abuse of pool towels [we'd to retrieve our Rm towels], littering, etc. made it clear that most ppl @ the pool were NOT guests of the hotel. It was a disappointing pool experience. However, all was not disappointing. The room was clean, AC was cool, Rm Svc food was tasty, bedding was comfortable and the staff was professional & polite.

Because I was going back to China the next day, I drove to LA one day in advance. The hotel is in a good location, 15 minutes drive to the airport, there are many places to eat nearby, there is also a Costco across the road, parking is also very convenient, the breakfast variety is a little limited, but this is the case for American hotels. The sanitation is clean.

The hotel is located near the beach, and the seaside scenery is pleasant in the morning and evening. The room is in American country style, and the facilities are older but well maintained. The service attitude at the front desk is average even though they can speak English, and they also charge a resort tax of US$20 per day, which is quite outrageous. The hotel does not have free parking and breakfast, which requires special attention. Parking is divided into valet parking and self-parking. The fees are the same. You need to go to the front desk to get a parking card and hang it on the rearview mirror. For breakfast, you have to go to the restaurant opposite. They are all a la carte and tipping is required. I am really not used to this method.

The room is large, the cooking equipment is complete, there is a laundry room on the first floor, close to the subway station

The first time I stayed at the motel, the room was ok, but I saw Xiaoqiang, and there was almost no socket to pull out the lights. Don't expect too much breakfast, the Medi general hotel is like that, meat and eggs are all there, but the repetition rate is very high. The change depends mainly on the craftsmanship of making waffles.

Bed was comfortable and nicely made. Hot water was instant. Towels were clean. Breakfast was ok. Good enough to fill up and go. My issue was that I think the carpet doesn’t get shampooed. I walked around barefoot for maybe 15 minutes in the room to settle in, then I saw a lot of dirt come off my feet in the shower. Please kindly shampoo or more thoroughly vacuum your carpets. Thank you.

Good motel with good location. Bed small, but other things good, especially free parking!

I really liked the hotel and the people there were very helpful. The only thing I was slightly disappointed about was that I was not allowed to smoke my vape on my little patio or that there were no tables to sit at on my patio so that I could eat outside. The smoking section that they had for smokers was definitely acceptable, but I would’ve liked to have been able to have more privacy on my back patio.
