Excellent location just a couple mins walk from Town Hall station. Also has a Woolworth conveniently nearby and QVB is just across the road. Room was clean, room service was excellent and towels were replaced daily. Mini fridge and iron too in the room if needed. Bathroom is spacious enough and concierge is very friendly.

The room amenities, cleanliness, and location were all great. The only downside was the lack of a screen window, which let in quite a few moths and really put a damper on my mood. The apartment allows you to make your own breakfast, and it's conveniently located not far from a supermarket.

This veteran five-star hotel offers an amazing experience! The bedding is incredibly soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a truly restful sleep. The room also features a capsule coffee machine, a thoughtful detail. The location is unbeatable, with Circular Quay and the surrounding commercial streets just a short walk away, perfect for a leisurely city walk. We stayed during Chinese New Year when the hotel was almost fully booked and rooms were very scarce. However, the staff kindly helped coordinate our stay, successfully arranging two consecutive nights. Their service was incredibly heartwarming. This is definitely our top choice for future trips and highly recommended!

Apartment hotel suitable for group of 4. Sofa outside toilet is a very interesting layout. Kitchen equipped with kitchenette but ventilation was bad. Sound proofing was horrible, can literally hear other units chatting and/or bickering away. Toilet equipped with jacuzzi was a bonus for a long day out. Shower area is small and flood easily. Washer and dryer also located in toilet. Side note - laundry detergent is payable, so BYO. Coffee machine at lobby was a nice touch but during our stay, only 1 machine was working. Mugs are for lobby usage, could be nice if can provide several paper cups especially for early day trip out and patrons need a cup on the go. Otherwise, very satisfied with the unit! Will return to stay with hotel the next round when i visit sydney again!

Absolutely superb hotel. The location is obviously perfect, being just a couple of minutes from Circular Quay train station and on top of the wharf for ferries to everywhere as well as just across the road from the Royal Botanic Garden and a short stroll from the Sydney Opera House. The staff were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived to the ned of our stay and rightly recommended the breakfast where everything was cokked to order (no sad breakfast buffet here). Our suite had everything we needed: fully equpped kitchen, dining table, sitting area, bedroom plus a balcony with a fabulous view of the quay and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We will definitely be back.

The best hostel for solo travellers. I was a bit hesitant at first given that the only available room was the mixed dorm. However, the room is clean, quiet, enough space for luggages. I think the best thing I noticed is the cleanliness and the travellers who were checking in because they are all well-mannered. It was a bummer that it was fully booked on my last day on Sydney. I transferred to a different hostel across the street and just massive comparison. Can bring big luggage here, there is a lift!!!

The location is in the middle of the CBD and it is convenient to go to the sights. The room is a bit old and the WIFI signal is weak. The elevator has to manually open and close the door. The elevator has to open the door once and the floor of the first floor is not aligned. It is necessary to bend over and step on the way, which is terrible! Be careful of safety incidents. There is a waitress who doesn't care.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Sebel overall. The location is unbeatable (5/5)—right in Martin Place, making it perfect for getting around Sydney. The service was also great, and the room amenities were very comfortable. However, I have to give the cleanliness a 3/5. While the room was generally tidy, there were some disappointing oversights. I noticed some blood on the bedsheet and a towel that appeared to have stains, looking like it hadn't been changed. It’s a shame because everything else about the hotel is fantastic. If they paid a bit more attention to the housekeeping details, this would easily be a top-tier stay.

There are two bathrooms, living room and kitchen, hardware equipment is good, suitable for family living. But the sink in the toilet is relatively narrow, and washing your face often makes the floor full of water. The table can be checked-in at three o'clock. When the time arrived, there was still no key in the post box. Later, they called and replied that they had not cleaned it. During the process of living, some spare parts were used up, and they were made up the next day, but the more troublesome thing was that the person who came to make up did not have a key and needed to make an appointment with the tenant. In addition, pay attention to airbnb can't store luggage, you have to find a nearby store to pay for it.

We stayed for 8 nights with our 3-year-old toddler, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Location: Perfect. We walked easily from the train station after arriving from Sydney Airport. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk to Darling Harbour, about 15 minutes to Wildlife Sydney and SEA LIFE, and right next to Darling Square park. Plus, Coles, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, and everything else we needed were just minutes away. Room layout: We booked a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, balcony, large kitchen, and lovely bathroom. The space was huge – ideal for a family. The dining table was a real bonus, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I was able to cook breakfast and dinner for our toddler each day, so we didn’t have to eat out every night. That saved us time, money, and hassle. Service: Housekeeping came almost every day, and the customer service from the entire team was fantastic – everyone was so friendly and helpful. If you’re travelling with a young child and want space, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere, I would absolutely recommend Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel. We’ll be back!

We stayed at Meriton Suites Kent Street and really enjoyed the location and apartment-style setup. We chose it mainly because it included a kitchenette, washing machine, and more of a home-style layout rather than just a standard hotel room, which made our three-night stay much more comfortable. The location was excellent, close to Chinatown, making it easy to explore local restaurants, markets, and the seafood market, while still being within walking distance of Sydney’s main attractions and landmarks. The hotel itself was functional and suited us well. We actually liked not having daily cleaning service, as it gave us more privacy and made the stay feel more relaxed and independent. The hotel is in [city name], a 20-minute walk from the Sydney Opera House. It's a historic building with no city view. Because I booked at the last minute, only suites were available. For a room costing over $1000 a night, having to pay for everything in the minibar is one thing, so I didn't touch it. But when I asked the front desk for extra water bottles, they said it was for environmental reasons. They suggested I take the empty glass bottles from the two complimentary waters down to the bar for unlimited refills, or drink tap water. Seriously, a 280ml bottle? Environmental protection shouldn't be an excuse for poor service. Breakfast was included, but it was limited to a few fixed meal options. Barista-made coffee cost extra, though a long black was free. But here's the kicker: refills cost $5.50 per cup! What?! Overall, with this level of service and the corresponding price, I absolutely do not recommend it. Unless a standard room is under $200, it's not worth considering.

This was one of the best experiences we have had in Australia. We finally found a resort that values its customers and provides what you expect from a five star luxury hotel. Vivien from the front office was amazing, upgrading our room and making my birthday unforgettable. Thank you and keep up the fantastic work.

I had a very satisfying experience! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, with incredibly convenient transportation. It's close to both bus stops and the nearby train station, making it super easy to get to Sydney city center or other attractions. What I loved most was the array of amenities downstairs – all sorts of restaurants and snacks, so you never have to worry about meals. There are tons of dining options, and the area has a lively vibe. The room was also very comfortable, clean, and tidy. Overall, my stay was worry-free and pleasant; all my dining and transportation needs were covered, and it offered great value for money. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting North Sydney!

Located perfectly in the city centre of Sydney it was the perfect place to stay. The bed was comfortable and the capsule design lets you have some degree of privacy while still saving money. Would stay here again definitely.

Very kind people at the service desk, mattrass is fine but if you're on the top bunk going down is not always the easiest/most comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was good. It would've been nice if the sink had an extra shelf above it to place toiletries, but other than that storage space in the room itself is fine. Even though there was a party going on downstairs, I didnt really hear anything in my room on the 2nd floor

I saw some Google reviews mentioning club noise, but we couldn't hear anything from our room (222)! (Though we might have just been too tired and slept soundly...💦) The shower and toilet were shared facilities. The location was fantastic, with cafes and a train station within walking distance, and it wasn't too strenuous a walk to the Opera House either~ (ꆧ⩊ꆧ )
