As a second-row hotel in Yalong Bay, the Yingbinguan isn't directly beachfront, but it's just across the road, so walking to the beach is convenient. The key is its incredible value for money; for just over 1,000 RMB, you get an infinity pool room that's clean and tidy. I stayed here two years ago and chose it again this year. Why? Mainly because the hotel's service surpasses even some first-tier brands. The shuttle bus is available on demand, and Cici, our butler, provided exceptional service throughout, fulfilling every request. When we ordered takeout late at night, she personally arranged for staff to deliver it to our door. This level of service alone is worth half the room rate! Guys, book this place without hesitation! If the hotel happens to see this review, my only small suggestion is: while the service is already incredibly thoughtful, the hotel should consider providing a few chairs for the front desk staff so they can sit when not actively assisting guests. Standing for over ten hours a day is truly exhausting, and the hotel should also demonstrate necessary humanistic care for its own team. Hope to see you again!

The hotel's overall design is excellent, with a high-ceilinged, spacious lobby and beautiful courtyard greenery. The pool area is also very nice. The rooms are quite large; our upgraded garden room faced the pool and garden, offering a lovely view. Room facilities were comprehensive. The service was outstanding, and there wasn't the slightest unpleasant odor in the room, which was a stark contrast to a five-star hotel I stayed at previously in Haitang Bay (though I forgot to mention that in my review of that hotel). The handwritten welcome letter from the staff showed genuine sincerity and a high level of management. All the hotel staff, from the butler who added me on WeChat upon arrival to provide information, to the welcoming staff in the lobby, were very enthusiastic and attentive. They even followed up after we checked out to ask for feedback. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of high-quality items, and the dining area (a sprawling open-air restaurant on the first floor) was excellent. Highly recommended!

Block 8's sea-view rooms are absolutely amazing, seriously! The sea view is top-notch, with the ocean right there. The building is only about 80 meters from the beach, making it the closest one to the sea in the entire hotel. It offers an unobstructed 180° direct sea view, with no palm trees or other buildings blocking the ocean. The 4th and 5th floors are the prime levels, especially the popular 8406 and 8508 room types. Their balconies directly face the entire Yalong Bay, offering distant views of the Sun Bay mountains. You can catch the sunrise over the sea in the morning and the orange sunset in the evening. Sitting on the balcony, enjoying the sea breeze, sipping coconut water, and watching the tide ebb and flow truly sets a perfect holiday mood. It's incredibly photogenic and a must-book for social media influencers!

First off, let's talk about the service – and I'll say it three times because it's that important: service, service, service! My butlers, Jinli and Hudie, were phenomenal. I honestly think half the room rate is justified by their efforts alone! They were incredibly attentive to our every need. Bringing water or coconuts felt like minor requests; they were always ready to go above and beyond. If you had any concerns, they'd address them immediately to ensure your satisfaction. The first room we were given wasn't quite right, and they instantly showed us other options, even while they were being cleaned, making it clear we could switch. You don't even have to ask for a coconut; if you're ever slightly displeased, they'll offer one to sweeten you up, haha! It's not about the taste of the coconut, but the emotional value they provide. When a recommended boat trip didn't meet expectations and no return car was arranged, they immediately called a car to pick us up and bring us back! It’s not about the money, it's about the attitude! So, regardless of whether the hotel's other facilities are top-notch, the service alone makes the price completely worth it. Of course, the environment and facilities are already excellent for Yalong Bay, especially since it's been recently renovated. The pricing is absolutely fair. Breakfast was also good, and every staff member had a great attitude. It's no wonder the Marriott is always fully booked – they truly deserve it. When you're on vacation, opinions on the environment can vary, but I believe excellent service is universally appreciated. So, I absolutely recommend this place; if I ever come to Sanya again, I'll definitely stay at the Marriott!

The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and warm, making the check-in process very efficient. Our room was spotless, with a great wet/dry bathroom setup and soft, breathable bedding. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including authentic Hainanese noodles which were delicious. The zipline was a thrilling experience! Staff members always greeted guests with a friendly hello and were quick to assist with any requests. 1. First-rate sea view, and the room amenities are complete. Although the building is a bit older, it still maintains its classic charm. 2. Most of the staff are quite enthusiastic. The gentleman who checked me in on April 2nd and the front desk concierge were both very welcoming, and the staff in the restaurant were also very polite. 3. A special shout-out to Xiao Lan at the front desk. I forgot some clothes after checking out, and after contacting Xiao Lan, I quickly received a notification that the package had been shipped via SF Express. Xiao Lan was patient, thorough, and had a gentle tone throughout our phone conversation. Thumbs up! 4. I suggest the hotel consider adding some activities to increase customer loyalty, such as parent-child programs, evening fireworks, or photo-op spots.

The hotel also provides free luggage storage. Housekeeping cleans daily and replenishes toiletries regularly. For this area, the value for money is outstanding. The room with a sea view was absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. A special thank you to Ms. Coral for arranging such a satisfactory room for me! Yalong Bay is perfect for those who prefer peace and quiet, and the hotel is just a five-minute walk to the beach, making it ideal for families with young children. I used to always visit Yalong Bay, but this time I tried a hotel in Haitang Bay. While it was newer, it was a bit further from the beach and more suited for families with older kids and a livelier atmosphere. Personally, I much prefer Yalong Bay! The only downside of this trip was Wuzhizhou Island. The hotel there was incredibly old, and we barely saw any other guests in the corridors, yet the staff claimed it was fully booked. Later, out of curiosity, I learned that Wuzhizhou Island only has about 250 rooms open to guests at any given time, so who exactly was staying there? It was quite creepy, and I felt like we were the only ones on our floor… I barely slept all night because the mosquito coils were completely useless, and my child kept getting bitten by mosquitoes. Just how many mosquitoes were there?!

Seriously amazing! I didn't expect it to be this good before checking in. They have a regular pool and a 'cloud pool' on the third floor with stunning ocean views, plus mountains nearby. The hotel is surrounded by mountains on one side, a lake on another, and the sea on yet another. But the best part is the incredible service! On the first day, I added the butler on WeChat, and every day there were free chilled Cokes in the mini-fridge in the room. The bathroom had a bathtub, and the air conditioning was super efficient. On my last day, they even gave me a delicious small cake. The hotel also has its own private beach. 🏖️ Anyway, it was awesome! From the moment we arrived at Haitang Bay No. 9 Resort Hotel, the staff's meticulous and patient service set a wonderful tone for our vacation. Checking in further confirmed the excellent professionalism and service attitude of the hotel staff. Initially, we just wanted to enjoy the hot springs and swimming, but to our pleasant surprise, the resort's scenery was incredibly beautiful, with numerous spots perfect for photos. The expansive lawn was particularly stunning for pictures. Staying at the hotel for two nights was wonderfully relaxing and stress-free, without the need to rush from one place to another. It was perfect for a leisurely getaway with my mother. The hotel's breakfast was rich and balanced, offering both Western and Chinese options. Over our two-day stay, the breakfast selections varied slightly, preventing it from feeling monotonous. For dinner, we opted for a BBQ set menu at the hotel, right by the sea. Enjoying the ocean breeze, sipping on refreshing drinks, and savoring the delicious BBQ, which included incredibly fresh and large oysters packed with protein, was a fantastic experience. We also booked a professional travel photoshoot. The photographer was highly skilled and professional. Although my mother isn't very old, she felt a bit nervous and stiff in front of the camera since she doesn't often take photos. However, the photographer patiently guided her, resulting in a beautiful collection of natural and vibrant shots. For guests like us who prefer to relax within the hotel, yet still want to capture our travel memories, this trip was truly worthwhile and absolutely perfect. A big thank you to all the hotel staff, including those at the seaside restaurant; your service made our trip incredibly happy and comfortable.

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I absolutely *have* to give a huge, huge, HUGE commendation!!! This was my first time staying at an Aranya hotel, and it was such an amazing surprise!!! The entire community's design and facilities are incredibly high-end, with perfect attention to detail – it's clear a lot of thought went into it. The hotel is nestled on a hill, and the attentive service from the staff started the moment I walked in and never stopped. First, I want to thank my butler, Giselle. She patiently answered all my little questions throughout my stay, responded incredibly quickly, and even proactively reminded me about the weather and class schedules. The hotel's wellness classes are all free, and the mini-bar was generously stocked. The front desk staff were also wonderful. Before my morning class, I wanted to buy yoga pants from the gift shop, but it wasn't open yet. The young, baby-faced gentleman at the front desk actively helped me solve this problem. Later, when there was an incorrect price for an item, the lady at the shop proactively contacted me for a refund. And the room, well, it was all about the details! The breakfast variety wasn't huge but it was exquisite, satisfying even those on a diet. I tried both the Saffron Spanish restaurant and Yongfu, and the food and service were both excellent, excellent, excellent. I also visited Jian Shan Yuan, and it truly lives up to its 'Little Kyoto' reputation. I had limited time and didn't get to see many parts of the community, but I've already booked my next trip. I *must* come back!!!

It’s been a few days since I got back from my Sanya trip, and I’m finally getting around to writing this review! 😂 My sister recommended this hotel to me. A few years ago, her family stayed here during their Sanya vacation and had an excellent experience, so she highly recommended it for our family trip this time. From the moment we checked in, we felt the staff's warmth. Seeing that we were a family traveling with a young child, they upgraded us to a family room. They also noted my child's birthday and sent a small cake on the day itself. The room was clearly well-maintained, and we could see the sea right from inside. The balcony was perfect for drying clothes. My child absolutely loved the hotel pool. What truly surprised me was the clothes-folding service – something I've never experienced in all my years of traveling! It was an amazing touch. Before we checked out, the staff repeatedly asked about our stay, and knowing we were traveling with a child, they even gave us a parting gift. The surprises just kept coming! From its location to its facilities and service, this hotel is simply impeccable. I highly recommend it to everyone! 😄

This hotel is super convenient in terms of transportation. There's a shopping street right downstairs, making it easy to catch a taxi or get anywhere. It's also close to the beach. As for facilities, there are three swimming pools, and one large pool is open until 10 PM, which I found to be perfectly sufficient. The mini pancakes at breakfast were delicious, and the service was excellent. My butler was also very responsible. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay!

The villa is beautiful and the pool water is very clean. The hotel is right next to the beach, so you can walk over and dip your toes in the water. The rooms are large and plentiful, and I got a bit disoriented when I first checked in. Unlike other standalone villa hotels I've stayed at, this one doesn't have a butler service; you need to call the front desk for any requests. It also felt like the hotel was understaffed. We checked in during peak hours, and the front desk staff looked very tired and overwhelmed. They didn't even guide guests queuing up in an orderly fashion. The experience in this regard was quite poor compared to the Hilton we stayed at two days ago. If you're staying in a villa, you'll need to bring your own mosquito repellent. Because the rooms are so large and there's a lot of greenery, even electric mosquito coils were largely ineffective. I didn't see any mosquito traps or similar facilities outside either. We were almost carried away by Sanya's mosquitoes!

Extremely satisfied with this hotel, it's definitely a hidden gem in Yalong Bay offering incredible value for money! The best thing about this hotel is how convenient it is to go for a swim at the beach, and the public beach area is also beautiful. The 'glass sea' in Yalong Bay is truly stunning and so clear! On my first day swimming, I saw little fish swim past me! What an incredible experience! The breakfast was also very good! I will definitely be back to this hotel!!

Dora, the butler, was incredibly attentive. We received welcome fruits upon check-in and a parting gift at check-out. The ocean view from the room was absolutely breathtaking! The moment I stepped onto the balcony, I was speechless. In the evening, the sunset painted the entire sea in an orange soda hue. Plus, there was a barbecue by the pool at night. We were very satisfied with the room. A huge thank you to our hotel butler, Li Shiping (Xiao Li), who was incredibly patient, meticulous, and attentive in helping us with numerous issues during our stay. For example, he assisted with supplies and meals for our children and even helped us with a late check-out due to a flight delay. Xiao Li also diligently resolved many other small details that came up during our stay. We were also lucky enough to get an upgrade to a sea-view room! The beach was just a 3-minute walk away, and there was a pool right downstairs where our kids had an absolute blast and didn't want to leave. It was a very happy and enjoyable vacation at this hotel.

Pullman is one of the older hotels in Yalong Bay. While the facilities might not be as new as those in Haitang Bay, it more than makes up for it in convenience, comfort, and a fantastic holiday vibe. Whenever I stay in Yalong Bay, my top choice is always a Pullman villa, especially since I'm traveling with kids – it's incredibly child-friendly! Stepping out of the room, you're right by the pool, so the kids can play freely without needing to go to the main hotel pool. It truly allows me to balance work and spending time with my children. The hotel staff are all incredibly warm and helpful, especially Andy. He started contacting me two days before my check-in to go over everything, and during my stay, he continuously helped me with whatever I needed. The hotel's golf carts are also on-call and arrive very quickly. It was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend!

No comparison, no harm... I booked this place randomly near the airport after a late flight. It exceeded my expectations by far; the service here blew away even my experience at the Mandarin Oriental afterwards! The hotel proactively contacted me a day before check-in to ask about my arrangements and provide important information, and assigned me a personal butler. I remember arriving around 1 AM, and the front desk agent, a young man, showed no signs of fatigue. He even proactively upgraded our room and asked if we needed a late check-out. When we hesitated, he immediately said, 'No problem, let me register it for you now, I’ll extend it until 2 PM.' I went to the room with some skepticism, but as soon as I opened the door, I loved it! It was so spacious, and the furniture and decor were clearly carefully chosen and beautifully coordinated. I have to praise the circular mosaic shower – it perfectly captures the essence of the Mediterranean! (I can’t stand those cookie-cutter Edition hotel rooms; a vacation should be about experiencing something different.) When dawn broke, I finally saw the balcony – and wow, who can even tell if this is Sanya or Andalusia?! I lay on the lounge chair on the balcony, showing it off to all my friends one by one, and everyone was asking, 'Wow, where is this beautiful place?' 🥰 The public areas are also beautiful. Some angles and layouts for photos resemble the Ritz. While the public space might be a bit smaller compared to Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay, its proximity to the sea is a major plus. I’m already planning to try a pool-access room on the ground floor next time. The front desk agent during check-out was also very kind. I apologize for not remembering the name of the young man who was standing in the middle around noon on June 7th. It's rare to encounter such genuine and infectious service. Because of him, I happily left the Crowne Plaza to go to the Mandarin Oriental, only to feel a huge letdown there. 😂 I also have to commend Ms. Meiyue from housekeeping (I believe). I left my charger behind, and she proactively called us and added me on WeChat to ask for an address for mailing. Since we hadn't left Sanya yet, we said we'd return to the hotel to pick it up, and she even waited for us at the concierge. (In contrast, I left an umbrella at the Mandarin Oriental, and no one bothered to ask about it.) She is truly a professional and genuine service provider. This trip to Sanya had a wonderful beginning and end, thanks to this hotel. They also offered an offshore excursion, which allowed for some excellent photos! Some details in the room showed a bit of wear, but this is a common issue for many older hotels in Sanya, apart from those in Haitang Bay. It's a minor flaw that doesn't detract from the overall experience. One small suggestion: perhaps try changing the green lights in the night garden landscape to a warm white light. The walk to the beach was long, and the underpass was dirty, which made me reluctant to stay in Sanya Bay again. However, this time at the Pullman Oceanview, none of those issues existed. It's a short walk from the public area downstairs to the beach access, and there's even an elevator. The underpass was also very clean. My child loved the water slides and went on them many times. The kids' club isn't huge, but it has everything needed and is very clean. I'll definitely prioritize staying here when I come back to Sanya Bay. A big thanks to our butler Vivi for her meticulous care.

Our room was beautiful, with great views, and it was immaculately clean and comfortable. The public areas are also stunning. They offer a ton of parent-child activities, making it perfect for families with kids. We stayed for 3 days this time, and what impressed me the most was the hotel's service – it was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Before check-in, they called to ask about our needs and reserve a room. After we checked in, any request we had was handled immediately. I want to especially thank our butler, Winnie. She responded to messages instantly throughout our stay and provided such caring assistance. For example, when she heard we had a cold, she thoughtfully brought us ginger tea. When my baby accidentally fell off the bed, she immediately arranged for a bed rail to be installed, brought us toiletries, and even proactively asked if we needed medical attention. She even followed up after we checked out to ask if we were feeling better. In short, she was incredibly meticulous, patient, detailed, and warm-hearted. Thank you! We also stayed at two well-known hotels in Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay during our ten-day trip, but my family and I all agreed that if we come back to Sanya, we'll definitely stay here again. From introducing the hotel's environment, facilities, and dining options, to checking in daily on our stay experience, she even replenished our drinks and fruit daily, not just a one-time supply. When the room's air conditioning felt a bit warm, she immediately arranged for an engineer to fix it. Even as we were leaving, she asked if we needed any assistance. I enjoyed the villa at the resort with its own pool and jacuzzi. The tropical climate, nature and churping of birds was a good getaway from the city. I would have loved to spend more time outdoors but I guess from January to April would have been better for that when peharps it is cooler outside. Resturants and the beach are in the area and are walking distance from the hotel. Peharps the hotel can provide pricing options to include both breakfast and dinner for those who would like to have all their meals at the hotel. The customer service was excellent. Peharps it would be better if they could speak some English better communication but they did their best to deliver the best customer service. Our room was literally cleaned everyday with our linens changed daily and the pool cleaned daily. Special shoutout to Luka Sun that checked us out early in the morning when we were leaving the hotel. Overall for the affordable price and the service it was a great expericence and I would stay at the hotel again when I'm in Sanya.

The hotel building is supposedly the newest wing of the old BAO Hotel across the street where those staying in the Shanghai Huating Boutique must go for breakfast. We waited 25 minutes to check as there was one desk agent serving one customer although after 2pm. The other staff agent appeared after 3pm. We were required to pay a refundable 500 RMB deposit and after checking into our room, God only knows what anyone would take from the room that was worth 500 RMB. Old not ironed bed linen, rusted garbage can, rusted balcony sink, old clean bathroom towel, old kitchen appliances which only the refrigerator was plugged in to work. The room condition (walls, floors, tiles, fixtures, etc) of the 8 years old hotel that opened in 2018 is far worse than it should be unless they used old materials to build. The option to PAY MORE for an “ocean view” is not worth it. After complaining that my room had a “pool view” AND I didn’t get the “ocean view” room I had PREPAID for, I was told I could change to another room that had an ocean view the NEXT DAY (because all of the 2 twin bedrooms with “ocean view” were already occupied for the day. But after I was shown the only room that had a view of the unsightly harbor/ocean which came with an old hard king size mattress and in worse condition than my 2 twin beds room, I decided not to move to another room BECAUSE after viewing the other available rooms where guests had checked out, there were none any better to justify packing up and moving to another old room. I contacted Trip.com, but because the cancellation period for THIS hotel expired the day before arrival, thus not allowing a chance to view the room before accepting the room at checkin. This is a red flag 🚩 as a hotel with pride & confidence in its products & service would allow the cancellation to extend to AT LEAST to 2-4pm on the planned checkin date especially at a famous beach resort (DaDongHai) during the 15 days long Chinese New Year’s holiday. So, no chance to change hotels UNLESS I was willing to forfeit $487.47. Also, I should mention the ants that appeared on the kitchenette counter EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO FOOD on the counter, only my coffee cup that I washed and left on the counter to dry. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT MY STAY AT THIS “DESPERATELY NEED OF A PROPER RENOVATION” HOTEL IS THE ONE MORNING FEMALE DESK AGENT THAT ASSISTED ME A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE MORNING AND A HOUSEKEEPING LADY SO, I GAVE BOTH A GOOD LUCK RED ENVELOPE 🧧 AS IT WAS THE CHINESE NEW YEAR HOLIDAY. If I go back to Da Dong Hai, I will DEFINITELY LOOK for a better hotel for my usually desired 5-10 days Sun & Beach vacation.

It's perfect for solo female travelers/digital nomads, and there are very few families with kids. Bringing water or coconuts felt like minor requests; they were always ready to go above and beyond. If you had any concerns, they'd address them immediately to ensure your satisfaction. The first room we were given wasn't quite right, and they instantly showed us other options, even while they were being cleaned, making it clear we could switch. You don't even have to ask for a coconut; if you're ever slightly displeased, they'll offer one to sweeten you up, haha! It's not about the taste of the coconut, but the emotional value they provide. When a recommended boat trip didn't meet expectations and no return car was arranged, they immediately called a car to pick us up and bring us back! It’s not about the money, it's about the attitude! So, regardless of whether the hotel's other facilities are top-notch, the service alone makes the price completely worth it. Of course, the environment and facilities are already excellent for Yalong Bay, especially since it's been recently renovated. The pricing is absolutely fair. Breakfast was also good, and every staff member had a great attitude. It's no wonder the Marriott is always fully booked – they truly deserve it. When you're on vacation, opinions on the environment can vary, but I believe excellent service is universally appreciated. So, I absolutely recommend this place; if I ever come to Sanya again, I'll definitely stay at the Marriott!

This is a courtyard-style hotel, beautifully situated halfway up the mountain. Robert checked us in with excellent and incredibly patient service, explaining all the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. I was extremely pleased with the room upon entering; it was wonderfully cool and comfortable because the air conditioning had been turned on in advance. The room was also very spacious, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Any service we needed was promptly delivered by staff, and even our takeaways were brought to the room by a robot! The hotel felt very safe and secure. I saw a swimming pool below my room, but unfortunately, my itinerary was too packed to enjoy it. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The room was impeccably clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and tidy. They thoughtfully arranged towel swans, cute plush toy displays, and fresh flowers, even spelling out 'Welcome Home' with greenery. The attention to detail in creating the ambiance was perfect. The staff were warm and attentive, making my entire stay feel comfortable and genuinely like coming home. - Newly Upgraded Facilities | Delightful Dining Options The hotel has opened a new, unique revolving self-service BBQ restaurant. The rustic garden-style decor with rattan lanterns creates a wonderful atmosphere. The revolving counter offers a rich variety of fresh meats, with tender Qiqihar-style fatty beef and original cut ribeye cooked to order. Paired with three secret dipping sauces and lettuce, the BBQ is absolutely delicious. Guests can enjoy an authentic BBQ feast without even leaving the hotel – incredibly convenient for meals. - Gardens & Pool | Epic Sea View Sunset The infinity pool area on the sixth floor has undergone a major renovation. The surrounding lawns have been re-landscaped with lush greenery, creating a pleasant environment. The pool directly faces the stunning mountain and sea views of Dadonghai. At sunset, the sky fills with a gradient of pink and orange hues, and the lights of the entire bay gradually illuminate. Underneath the palm trees, there are turquoise sun umbrellas and soft beanbag chairs, with cute panda dolls adorning the coconut trees.
