Hyatt Regency Sanya Tianli Bay

This was our second time staying at the hotel, and the kids were thrilled to participate in the Whale Tribe children's activities again. They were especially happy to see the enthusiastic teacher Xiao He! They made traditional incense sachets, hairpins, magic glasses, leaf bookmarks, pom-poms, taro milk cups, and also took part in fun science experiments – the kids had an absolute blast. The breakfast was exquisite as always, and the different noodle dishes offered daily at the Executive Lounge were excellent. The pool is large and clean, and the kids' water park is great fun, keeping them entertained every evening. The only minor disappointment was that there weren't as many seashells on the wild beach to the west of the hotel compared to last year.

The hotel environment is really great, the sky is so blue, and Niannian (a staff member, presumably) was incredibly thoughtful. I highly recommend this hotel! You can see planes flying over the pool every time, which is really picturesque and atmospheric. Ordering takeout is super convenient, and it's very close to the airport. The best part is that the hotel is affordable and clean! I especially recommend it. The kids' pool is a lot of fun and they can play for a long, long time. There are also many international guests staying here, and I was particularly drawn to the scenery and layout in the lobby~

The hotel's location is excellent. It's very close to the airport, less than a 15-minute ride by ride-hailing service. If you want to go to CDF, you can book a time directly with the front desk. Xidao Scenic Area is also very close, about a ten-minute drive, which is very convenient. The scenery is beautiful. The hotel grounds are filled with coconut trees and a wide variety of greenery. The beach is clean, comfortable, and secluded, offering various surfing and water sports. It's perfect for families with young children, with plenty of beach and pool options. The staff is proactive and service-oriented. The hotel is large, and there's a complimentary luggage cart service to take you to your room. The hygiene is great; everything is clean, fresh, and tidy. The lighting and ventilation are good, and the soundproofing is also effective. Even though our stay was brief (two days during a typhoon), it left a very positive impression. The buffet also offers a wide variety of delicious options.

We arrived at noon and were proactively upgraded to a sea-view room. The view from the ninth floor was indeed stunning, and the room was spotlessly clean – much better than many older five-star hotels. After all, new is always better than old. My family all thought this place was great and offered excellent value for money. I'd recommend booking it for arrival or departure. There are plenty of photo opportunities by the pool, on the beach, and by the sea. The only downside is that you can still hear airplane noise in the room, but it didn't bother me as I'm a sound sleeper. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to avoid hotels near the airport. Also, the air conditioning vent is directly above the bed, so at night, you might want to set it to a lower fan speed or direct the airflow upwards. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options. I recommend the freshly made omelets and the yogurt drinks.

From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional and incredibly welcoming. The breakfast was delicious, and the environment was lovely. The pool was clean, and being so close to the beach made it perfect for a vacation. Overall, a really great experience.

Booked a night at the Hyatt for convenience on the return trip. Upon check-in, the staff proactively informed us that the AC in our room wasn't working well and upgraded us to a sea-view suite. The room was on the 10th floor, directly facing the pool and the sea, with a super long balcony and expansive views. We used the hotel's complimentary travel photography service, taking lovely pictures amidst the beautiful scenery of the lawn, beach, and ocean. In the evening, we picked up shells on the rocky beach and even saw sea hares... So glad we booked a night at the Hyatt!

Overall, it's a standard five-star hotel. It's not overly luxurious, but it offers great value for money in Sanya, and it's very close to the airport. My only regret is that the waffles and pancakes at breakfast are made to order, so there's always a queue, and the portions are quite small. Everything else was fantastic.

The butler service was decent and responsive. We booked a suite, but for the price, I didn't feel it offered a significant advantage over other hotels. The bunk beds for the children were quite firm and uncomfortable to sleep on.
