L'hotel ci è stato assegnato dopo aver acquistato un pacchetto per capodanno. Da fuori appare immediatamente vecchio e tenuto male. Alla reception siamo stati accolti con umorismo e battute che definire poco gradite è un eufemismo. Una volta entrati in stanza ci siamo trovati in una lercissima topaia. Sia i muri che le tende presentavano enormi macchie di chissà cosa. La cassaforte malamente appesa a un muro e il frigobar sporco. Sfortunatamente questo è nulla in confronto al bagno. Dalla descrizione dell'hotel sembra quasi che la mancanza di un box doccia sia un pregio quando invece devi praticamente lavarti sul lavandino. Una schifosissima tenda divide il wc e il bidet dal lavandino/doccia, se non rimossa te la ritrovi in faccia qualora tu debba usare uno dei due. Punto a favore il fatto che se si toglie la tenda si può facilmente usare il lavandino e il wc contemporaneamente dato che seduti sull'ultimo ci si trova praticamente con la faccia nel primo. Unica nota positiva in questo mare di sporcizia il balcone spazioso (anch'esso tenuto malissimo)From$24

Iconic Rimini hotel. We loved the historic exterior and public areas, especially the Fellini lounge. The gardens are beautiful and the pool area was relaxing, if rather small given the size of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. On the negative side, the bedroom had a period charm but the furniture was old and not in an antique way. There was also a lot of ambient noise from the fridge which we disconnected at night and the AC, which we never managed to shut down. The bathroom in particular could do with a serious refurb. The spa looked good but we weren't going to pay Eur 80 per person just to use the sauna and sit by the indoor pool. There is a private beach but charging up to Eur 95 for loungers is a steep extra - that said, the room rate was reasonable. Service was polite but not exceptional. On the whole, we enjoyed the hotel but it is teetering on the edge of looking tired, some major investment will be necessary sooner rather than later.SOLD OUT

We stayed here for a week in September and it was better than we expected! It is definitely not a 4 star hotel but the staff were amazing and so helpful. The pool was nice but not very deep. The complementary water bottles were good and it did feel safe, although, we kept our suitcases locked whenever we left the room. As other reviews mention, it is quite noisy and you can hear the odd person walking down the hallway and the other bathrooms, so I suggest bringing earplugs. The hotel is in a good location, close to lots of restaurants and amenities. The old town was lovely and we had a great time exploring. Overall, a good time!From$33

Check in is very fast! Just register your ID card and 2 euros! The room key should be hung at the front desk when going out and cannot be taken away. The food that I pack from the restaurant outside cannot be put in the refrigerator at the front desk, only medicines can be stored. It is a law and regulation. The front desk said it could help me heat it in the microwave in the morning. The room is well ventilated, with two floor-to-ceiling windows and doors. Standing on a small balcony and looking at the trees and roads outside, it feels good. There are chairs and three lines for drying clothes. Many people are watching towels. I guess I went to the beach to swim. The bathroom in the room is good, there are foot towels, two medium towels and one large towel. I can use it alone! The TV is small, all in Italian. There are three free biscuits on the table. The hotel is a 6-minute walk from No. 42 on the beach. There are many family hotels nearby, all of them seem to be three stars. The front desk is friendly. The bar is open 24 hours a day, and in the evening many people are drinking below. Wi-Fi requires email registration, which is very powerful at night. The overall ranking on TripAdvisor tells you much of what you need to know about Hotel Esedra. It certainly needs work. I would not have stayed here if I could’ve found another hotel with rooms available at 9pm at night when I arrived in the city, but simply nobody had rooms (and those that had rooms were selling them for hundreds and hundreds of dollars). Hotel Esedra was the only viable choice, unless I wanted to patron the local homeless shelter…although maybe they have good free Italian food there? Lol. I use an electric wheelchair, and as with many local inns in Rimini, there is no wheelchair accessibility. I felt very safe leaving my chair outside at night, and I solicited the help of a few passersby to haul my luggage up the steep staircase to the lobby and hold my hand to ensure I didn’t fall. The atmosphere is small and outdated, with no real indication of attempts to revive or refurbish common areas. The man at check-in was relatively friendly, although he didn’t speak English, so I had to rely on Google Translate and my infantile knowledge of Italian—but in any of my TA reviews, language barriers are never a factor that harms a place. The woman at check-out had some English proficiency, but having Translate handy is still wise. This woman was very friendly, going so far as to call a taxi van, help me with my luggage, and grab me some items from the breakfast buffet downstairs to-go. I should’ve gotten her name—this lady is the only shining light of this hotel at the moment! I was placed in room 105 or something similar to that, a room I hadn’t even noticed until the check-in man pointed it out—it’s a nondescript wooden door right by the main doors with a small paper sign with the room number. It’s almost like the hotel wanted to expand and include more rooms, but didn’t have the space or the budget to make them more like the rest of the property—the black sheep of the hotel? Two such odd rooms were connected to the lobby so brazenly like that, mine and another just a few yards to the right. At least I had a roof over my head, eh? Perhaps the decision to place me there was due to my disability and the attempt to reduce the amount of walking I’d have to do, which if true, I very much appreciate. But unless all the other rooms were to the same or similar quality as mine, I would’ve walked a bit more. And the type of room received anyway didn’t help my condition in the first place… My room (which was a loft-style, two-story configuration separated by a steep wooden staircase I had no interest in or energy to try climbing unaided) was not exactly dirty…it was actually clean enough. It was just OLD. So, so worn down. Rickety and loud and cheap. The bed was a single twin—with no pillows. You heard me. There were ZERO pillows in my room. Now possibly they were in the upstairs section of my room, but having a few downstairs would’ve seemed logical too. This hotel is perfectly located between city centre and the beach. It’s also easy access to train station (10min walk) and bus 9 (airport). The bedroom was fine and bathroom was roomy and shower was good. Air con was pleasant. I didn’t try breakfast or restaurant. The safe had no keys but we eventually found them. My two quibbles: no one answered any of my emails so I had to call to double check they weren’t shut due to COVID 19 or something ; (annoying!) the cleaning starts at 7am, and frankly, the maid is the noisiest person ever. Imagine a hoover on the room next to you at 7am when you went to bed at 2am! The walls are paper thin and you hear the neighbours, which is not great, but cleaning staff can be scheduled for a more godly hour. I had the worst 3 mornings ever, up hours before I intended to be. As many travellers complained and clearly the hotel doesn’t care, I am giving only 3 stars.From$25

The staff make this place; efficient, professional, friendly, ever helpful, and always happy. Every single one smiled and wanted to help. Whoever trains them should be proud. The hotel is well thought out, has the most wonderful restaurant particularly for a gourmet dinner; and breakfast is an event too. Downside for us, and in no way a criticism of the hotel, the close by sports bar disco is unbearable for noise. And for some reason yapping dogs are paraded along the promenade; but that reflects more on the owners. One thing we would change was the oversized bath in the superb room. It wasn't practical and the space would be better suited to a couple of arm chairs and coffee table. Great location for accessing many interesting places and that wonderful staff will give you all the advice you need.From$132

This is an excellent boutique hotel! Rooms: For Italian standards the rooms are very big! They are also very clean and still look new! Pool: Very small pool but it is heated. So you can enjoy swimming also during the night (until 23 o'clock). Lobby: small but nice looking! Beach: very close to the hotel. Fine sand, good quality sunbeds and umbrellas. Staff: very very friendly staff. Improvement: the breakfast is the same every day. Since is a small hotel also the breakfast is not too varied. So a little variation will make it more attractive. Stayed at this hotel just one night before heading to San Marino. The location is superb,just two blocks from Rimini train station. The hotel is at the corner of street. The lobby is clean and staffs are very helpful. The room is clean and spacious,not very modern but very neat. I have the corner room at the highest floor with good view and a small balcony that can stand there to enjoy the view. The bed is average,the bathroom is bright and water power was excellent. Room provides free coffee and tea, a small safe and slipper. The breakfast was average but adequate with hot items. Coming out from lobby turn right,walk strait then you will arrive at Piazza Tre Martiri, the old part of Rimini. The stone bridge of Rimini also walkable around ten minutes from hotel. Surrounding the hotel don’t have eating place,just a simple chinese restaurant in front of the hotel. But at old town there are plenty of restaurants. As this is a business hotel then no swimming pool and kids playing area. Considering the location,then highly recommended for those who plan a short stay in Rimini.From$34

È un hotel ”design”, molto originale partendo dalla reception. Ma le stanze (piuttosto fredde e poco accoglienti) hanno una serie di problemi. Niente prese vicino al letto per caricare il cellulare (e comodini minuscoli), televisione messa quasi a lato del letto, ti viene il torcicollo, luci orribili tipo neon, che prima di capire quale interruttore accende una o spegne l'altra, passa molto tempo... senza parlare delle piccole lampade accanto al letto, dalla luce bruttissima e che intanto non rimangono fisse e si piegano inesorabilmente. Il bagno ha una serie di problemi, doccia non separata neanche da una tendina, luce scarsissima. Per riassumere, sembra che l'architetto o il designer non abbia tenuto conto delle esigenze basiche che una stanza di albergo richiede, pensando solo al design e l'estetica, peraltro discutibile. Due punti che ho trovato positivi: il personale, cortese e professionale, e la colazione con buona scelta e qualità con un servizio impeccabile con un personale molto simpatico!SOLD OUT

Beatyfull coast with touristing guiding. Buss to San Marino a remarkable vue and rhe old church with st Barbara, This is not for small children because it is very high up. The mountains are lovely. We stayed here for seven days as a family of five in two rooms. The rooms were fine with some view, and we did not hear any noices from the outside. Room one: Fridge did not work. Air condition did not work last day. Issue with fridge was fixed. Room two: When we arrived a strong smell of urin came from the bathroom and shower. Old urin on the toilet paper. Told the front desk, but the person did not seem to bother. Decided to write a mail to the hotell, and in the middle of the night they asked if we wanted a new room. ( We traveld as a family and wanted rooms close) and after a long travel and the fact that it was in the middle of the night, we decided to stay. I cleaned the bathroom myself next day.. We also had a problem with a blinking light and the telephone did not work, both were fixed. The aircondition was also a problem.. It never worked properly. The last night i woke up with problems breathing. We got a new room to sleep in, but that was just as bad. The staff then was complaining that i already had sat down in the bed, that the aircondition was working, he had no more roms… This was in the middle of the night, all i wanted was to sleep. Finaly we got yet another room, this time the room had a working aircondition and the room was cold by the morning. We found out last day that there was an error in all the hotell rooms with the aircondition. This plus a sink that didnt work last day either.. The sink could not be fixed untill next day we were told. We did not get any compensation… Another issue was the swimmingpool. The edge and the wood around the pool is rotten. One of us fell there. This is dangerous. The biggest issue is the lack of hospitality and service-minded staff. They seems to be not so interesed in you. They speak VERY little english and do not want to understand you. We did have three very nice waiters; one lady that gave us coffe and two boys. One named Tomasi/Tomas giving us icecream and another one from the hotell we meet in oldtown. The pool boy was also nice! SOLD OUT

We spent 2 excellent nights at the Imperiale, revisiting San Guiliano after a gap of several years. All the staff at reception and in the restaurant were so helpful and friendly, dinner and breakfast were very good. We used the hotel bikes to once again visit the beautiful centro storico of Rimini, Piazza Cavour, the Tempio Malatestiano, the Fellini museo and the redevelopment around the Rocca. We stayed for two nights (not in a sequence). The marriage room is very small (how many mq? It would be good to know before!), furnished in a minimum: there is neither a stick nor a hook to hang a jacket, a bag, a hat... there is only one chair, one single comfort (a support plan, on the other hand there is a small box), we have not found near the bed a box to load the phone (maybe there is to the floor?), the bathroom is small (how many squares?), with a shower inside the bath, It is rather uncomfortable for people not younger.... Good cleaning in the room and in the bathroom. The outer barriers of the terrace, with table and two chairs, are probably not cleaned at the beginning of the season, and the smeralded glasses that separate a terrace from the adjacent have not yet been cleaned. (privacy very low, to not listen to the conversation between my neighbours, I prefer not to stay on the terrace!) From a 4-star hotel you expect not luxury, but more comfort, more privacy, and care. Breakfast with a variety of products, but not the same quality (for example, there are croissants, but there are no brioches, there is no fresh milk, etc.). Very comfortable parking, which is paid extra. Cute staff, comply with the standards of the Roman River! From$95

Everything was perfect from start to finish of our holiday. The staff, location and facilities of the Aqua are fabulous. The rooms are very clean with a comfortable bed and our room was very quiet. The room has a mini bar and unlike many mini bars, this one was actually cold so perfect for drinks and food. We had a room on the 5th floor which had lovely views of the city and the sea. The breakfast staff were very helpful with my partners gluten intolerance, providing GF cakes, bread, biscuits, crackers and muffins. We would also like to mention (probably spelt incorrectly) Jani who looked after us when having lunch at the hotel, always happy and helpful. We would definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Rimini. From$73
