The hotel is in a good location, surrounded by mature businesses, convenient for eating and drinking. There is no parking lot, but there are many roadside parking spaces nearby. It costs 40 cents for half an hour, and it is free from 8pm to 9:30am. I booked a sea view room, which has a good view. Unfortunately, the floor is a bit low. The room is large, the facilities and hygiene are also good, there is a kitchen, microwave oven, and tableware. Overall, it is very good and cost-effective.
The only thing I am not happy about is that I asked the front desk if there is a chance to change to a higher floor. The answer is that it needs to be confirmed the next day. The next morning, it was said that it would be confirmed at 10 o'clock. This is understandable. What I don't understand is that we were not there and took away all our things. I asked if there was a room to help change it, and it didn't matter if there was no room. As a result, the answer was that the person must be there, so I gave up in the end.SOLD OUT

Overall, we felt very comfortable in the hotel. It was clean and the service was good. All of our requests were fulfilled, such as renting a parasol or having breakfast outside of regular hours. The location is very central and a few meters from the beach. The hotel also had several pools and roof terraces that were very pleasantly designed. Our room also had a sea and city view with a spacious balcony. The room furnishings were functional and the bed was very comfortable (king size plus). The breakfast was varied, there was a good selection of fresh fruit, and the coffee was also very good. Most of the guests were English, but the atmosphere was relaxed and uncomplicated. We would definitely recommend the hotel.SOLD OUT

Lovely hotel/apartments, although rooms were basic, they were adequate, especially for the price we paid. Not too far from the centre, there is also shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
Pool area nice and clean. We didn't use the restaurant facilities, so we can't comment.
We have to to better places, bit we've also been to worse. But you get what you pay for and we would stay here again.SOLD OUT

Very relaxing stay in the Plaza Hotel. Room's are very compact but comfortable and we had a nice front facing balcony looking out over the main roundabout of santa ponsa. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful especially Lia on reception who helped us check into our room and made our stay very relaxing. The location of the hotel is perfect to access the beach only 5 minutes walk and the main bus and taxi terminal is right on your doorstep should you want to travel to anywhere on the island. Don't forget to try Pina Colada!SOLD OUT

This is our 2nd trip to this hotel. It’s now on a B&B only ( we had half board last year) with the breakfast served across the road in a restaurant with the best views across the bay! Great selection of food and drinks.
The man on reception is super helpful and friendly even at 11.45pm!
Lovely small hotel with a small pool
Comfy beds and the balcony is spacious with an area to dry towels etc. The hotel offers towels for rent but we bought one for €5 in the supermarket next door.
Cleaned every day and cleaned well.
Lots of restaurants and shops close by.
The fabulous beach is a 10minute stroll, with a massive supply of sun beds ( €20.50 a day for 2 beds under a fixed umbrella and an attached safety box)

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, prácticamente al lado de la playa. La media pensión funciona muy bien, el desayuno más que suficiente y la cena mejor que el almuerzo por cantidad y variedad; es importante tener en cuenta que los horarios de comidas están establecidos pensando en turistas que comen y cenan temprano, aún así es preferible por cantidad y por horario, cenar, que puede ser hasta las 21:30 horas (la media pensión es desayuno y cena). Mi vuelo tuvo mucho retraso, llegué al hotel después de las 00:00 y me ofrecieron una cena fría, muy amables. La zona de la piscina muy limpia, bien planteada y muy bien decorada; es importante tener en cuenta que los clientes suelen bajar desde temprano para “reservar” las hamacas poniendo toallas que no quitarán el resto del día. En mi caso, pagué una habitación standard y creo que las de esta clase están ubicadas en un edificio anexo que es más antiguo y con menos glamour que las superiores, que sí están en el edificio del hotel y dan a la piscina. Aún así, limpias y con todo lo necesario. El hotel es muy recomendable, en mi caso cumplió con las expectativas que llevaba. Recomiendo dos cosas: reservar habitación superior y no preocuparse mucho por la comida en el hotel, en caso de tener media pensión, vale la pena comer fuera y cenar allí.SOLD OUT

The only thing I am not happy about is that I asked the front desk if there is a chance to change to a higher floor. The answer is that it needs to be confirmed the next day. The next morning, it was said that it would be confirmed at 10 o'clock. This is understandable. What I don't understand is that we were not there and took away all our things. I asked if there was a room to help change it, and it didn't matter if there was no room. As a result, the answer was that the person must be there, so I gave up in the end.SOLD OUT

Santa Ponsa|1.15km from city center
This is our 2nd trip to this hotel. It’s now on a B&B only ( we had half board last year) with the breakfast served across the road in a restaurant with the best views across the bay! Great selection of food and drinks.
The man on reception is super helpful and friendly even at 11.45pm!
Lovely small hotel with a small pool
Comfy beds and the balcony is spacious with an area to dry towels etc. The hotel offers towels for rent but we bought one for €5 in the supermarket next door.
Cleaned every day and cleaned well.
Lots of restaurants and shops close by.
The fabulous beach is a 10minute stroll, with a massive supply of sun beds ( €20.50 a day for 2 beds under a fixed umbrella and an attached safety box)
We will definitely go back to Playas del ReyFromSEK 348
