love every part of this hotel, during all my hop on and hop off hotels this past years, this Gumaya hotel has met a good standard in most of aspects, especially the breakfast. im so suprised find hotel that the breakfast food taste delicious in all the stalls (usually will be too salty, too bland or just bleh..) but at gumaya, we are like travelling to each own traditional food restaurant, the authentic gudeg, the very nice lumpia and ikan bandeng, the warm soto ayam semarang and the homemade jamu and juices. all is excellent.

It was an awesome experience in Aruss. I would like to commend the very helpful employees, everyone was so nice and welcoming. Hotel is near supermarket making it really convenient on buying your food or late night snacks however, its quite far from malls and other landmarks. During ramdaman, it took us few minutes to book a taxi, whether gojek or bluebird and the fare rate shoot up when non-peak hours. I would appreciate if the pool is heated and if the sauna will be placed outside the gym. But all in all, I love my stay in Aruss hotel and I will definitely comeback.

I stayed here for a night then added additional night. The front desk people are really friendly and super helpful. I got a free room upgrade as well. The water refills on each floor is a big thumbs up from me. My only recommendation to the management is to consider adding more soap to the bathroom amenities. Like dedicated hand soap, shampoo, body soap. Not just one soap for everything.

Everything was good, especially the view from room 701, but the shower pressure wasn't strong enough. The cleanliness could be improved, especially in less visible areas. Overall, the service was excellent. Thank you very much.

Strategic location, spacious and comfortable room, exceptional service. Breakfast was standard. Parking is a bit tight, so you need to be extra careful. Overall, very good.

This hotel definitely wins on location! It's right across from DP Mall, so finding food and doing some window shopping is super easy – just a stone's throw away from the mall, haha. Everything else, like the facilities and breakfast, is super minimalist. But for 300k/night with breakfast, it's fair for the price. This hotel gets crazy expensive during high season, LOL! 😁😁

The service was friendly and efficient. This is a budget hotel, so I can't really complain too much. However, overall, the room wasn't tidy. There was a door in the room, I'm not sure if it was for pipes or electrical, but usually, those are outside the room. The sealant around the sink was poorly done. When I checked in, the sheets and pillows were yellowish – I'm not sure if they had been changed. But the service was good enough; they quickly changed them when asked. The view from the window was just a wall, and it was dark even during the day. The hotel wasn't clean; there were drink spills everywhere, and fingerprints on the glass doors. For those on a tight budget, staying here is okay, but if you have more to spend, there are better options elsewhere.

Delicious and comfortable. The Smart TV worked perfectly. The soap also smelled really nice. I really liked it!

The hotel is nice, the rooms are big, the mattresses are soft, and the facilities are very good for families, there is a children's playground and a swimming pool. I personally don't like the parking location because it's quite narrow and initially quite confusing. I also dislike the breakfast because the food options are very few. maybe for the next order I will not include breakfast. Very good and strategic location.
