Great value for money! It's an older five-star hotel, but it's well-maintained and very comfortable. The location is convenient, and the views are fantastic with an open panorama. Safety feels assured, and all the staff are really nice!

I was very satisfied with this hotel. Its location near Kaohsiung's bustling Formosa Boulevard MRT station is excellent, with plenty of shops and businesses nearby, plus a large grocery store just across the street. The hotel's service truly felt five-star. While there isn't a grand lobby, the practical amenities, like the outdoor swimming pool, were fantastic. The breakfast was also great, and they even had ice cream!

We stayed in the Gudetama room which is decorated in a very cute style. With the reservation we had the priority of checking in,free afternoon tea and the photo shoot service. We enjoyed the gym and the sauna which is perfect for relaxing. And most of all the hotel provided the shuttle service to the high speed train station for free. We will be back again for the Melody room.

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|0.86km from city center
I had a pleasant stay overall. The location is excellent—right in front of a metro station, with bus stops nearby, making it very easy to get around Beijing. There is also a nice bakery downstairs and several shops in the area, which was very convenient. The hotel provided all the amenities I needed, including an iron, and I was especially grateful that the staff arranged an early check-in for me, which made a big difference after my journey. The only minor downside was that my room's window faced the inner courtyard, so there wasn't much natural daylight. Also, the hallway rugs made it a bit difficult to roll luggage around. However, these were small inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience. The hotel was comfortable, well-equipped, and very convenient for exploring the city.

Folks!! This hotel is truly worth me writing a novel-length review for 😭✨ I just stayed at the Grand Lapa Macau and, as a hotel enthusiast, I was absolutely blown away! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt like I'd been transported into a European palace film 🎬 Crystal chandeliers + marble spiral staircase + vintage murals – every casual snap turns into an Instagram-worthy masterpiece 📸 My朋友圈 (friends circle) is already exploding with everyone asking, ”Which amazing hotel is this?!” The room is even more incredible!! The bed is so soft it feels like sleeping on clouds ☁️ The bathtub is huge, and you can enjoy Macau's night view while soaking 🌃 The mini-bar is completely FREE!! Drink and snack to your heart's content – my budget-conscious self is thrilled! 🥳 The service details are legendary! The front desk guy was super gentle, proactively helping with luggage and bringing welcome fruits 🍇 The room was sparkling clean every day, and they even neatly arranged my skincare products – a true delight for my OCD! The location is also a huge plus! It’s a 5-minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and 10 minutes to Sands, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Strolling downstairs at the hotel in the evening, with the sea breeze and the lights, was so romantic it made me want to get married on the spot! 💍 Cons:

The room was very big with 2 rooms, 1 with queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds. 2 restrooms as well. Compare to the other family room, the family suite is not newly renovated, it looks a little old. The location is at the end of wangfujing steeet. But overall we had a great stay. Had our free laundry as well!

This hotel boasts a prime location in the heart of Wangfujing, directly across from the subway entrance (Line 8, Jinyu Hutong Station). It offers instant access to the subway, with Line 1 providing direct routes to Universal Studios and Xidan. Popular spots like Nanluoguxiang and the Temple of Heaven are just two subway stops away, making city-wide travel incredibly convenient. It's also right next to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, with APM, Yintai Shopping Center, and the snack street all within easy walking distance – perfect for shopping and dining. Tiananmen Square and the Meridian Gate of the Forbidden City are a mere 10-15 minute walk, meaning you can catch the flag-raising ceremony without the hassle of a taxi or traffic. Old city landmarks such as Houhai, Nanluoguxiang, and Beihai Park are also easily accessible, ensuring all major attractions are covered. This central location allows for an extra half-hour of sleep each day, making for a much more relaxed and enjoyable trip.

Qianmen, The Temple Of Heaven and Chongwenmen Beijing|1.02km from city center
This is my second trip to Beijing this year, and I chose to stay at the Livefor hotel in Chongwenmen again with my son. I guess that makes me a repeat customer, right? 😁 Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Chongwenmen subway station, making getting around incredibly easy. There are malls right downstairs and across the street, so with a child, I don't have to venture far. Cleanliness is my top priority when choosing a hotel, which is why I've picked Livefor twice. Next up is the bedding, especially the pillows – they're just the right firmness, ensuring a really comfortable sleep. The soundproofing is also good; once the window is closed, you can't hear any outside noise, and it's very quiet at night. My son loved the mini-fridge in the room; he bought some drinks and cheese, and he really enjoyed that. The service was also excellent and thoughtful. Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly and gentle, and they were always ready to help with any issues. All in all, the transportation, accommodation, and dining experiences were all great, offering good value for money. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next visit to Beijing.

It’s a four star hotel that feels like some five star hotels do. It’s a bit pricey but what your get in return is excellent service (valets opening doors for you, everyone saying hello and asking if you need anything), cosy rooms (ours had a bathtub and Japanese toilet), free snacks, coffee and beer at the lounge, alright cleanliness (mostly fine but we found unwanted items of unknown origin and purpose in the room) and even free self-service laundry.

The hotel has tried their best to keep it clean and tidy. However, the whole hotel is too old. It feels like bringing the customers back to 80s or 90s. Renewal is needed to all facilities and the repairing work. Water pressure of the toilet is low. Multiple flushing needed. Bidet toilet is provided but it is just for decoration because of the low water pressure. Limited choice for breakfast but acceptable. Staff are mainly nice. All in all, acceptable but doesn’t worth this price at all.

About Beijing

Beijing is China's capital, where ancient imperial history meets modern energy. The city holds the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 600 years of history and more than 186,000 cultural relics, alongside the restored Ming Dynasty watchtowers of Badaling on the Great Wall. Beyond the monuments, the Summer Palace spreads across Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill in Haidian District, while Shichahai's lake district and the surrounding hutong alleyways hum with roast duck aromas, teahouses, and the sounds of daily life. The Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing emperors once performed harvest rituals, still anchors the southern stretches of the city with its detailed Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.

When to Book Beijing Hotels

  • Beijing hotel prices drop to $50-$80 per night in January-February and November-December, compared to $70-$120 during the June-August summer peak.
  • Chinese New Year can spike Beijing hotel rates even during the winter low season (Jan-Feb), so check the lunar calendar before booking.
  • In Beijing, early September rates are noticeably lower than during Golden Week (first week of October), when prices across the city rise sharply.
  • Budget hotel districts in Beijing: Chaoyang 4-star hotels average roughly $75/night, Dongcheng guesthouses around $45/night, Haidian 3-star roughly $60/night, and Xicheng boutique stays near $50/night.
  • Booking Beijing flights 2-3 months in advance and staying in budget-friendly neighborhoods like Xisi district helps stretch your budget the furthest.
  • Off-peak season (December through February) brings the cheapest Beijing flights and hotel rates; just steer clear of Chinese New Year dates for the lowest prices.
  • On Trip.com, look for new-user coupons, daily deals, promo codes at checkout, mid-week stays, and membership points to trim Beijing hotel costs.

Beijing Travel Essentials

Transport

  • Beijing has two major airports: Capital International (PEK, about 25 km northeast of the center) and Daxing International (PKX, about 53 km south).
  • The Airport Express subway from PEK costs CNY 25 (~$3.69) per person and reaches the city center (Dongzhimen or Sanyuanqiao) in about 36 minutes. A taxi costs roughly CNY 150-250 (~$22.14-$36.90) and takes 60-90 minutes.
  • The Beijing subway is the most efficient way around the city; fares are CNY 5-10 (~$0.74-$1.48) per ride. Avoid buses and taxis during rush hours (around 08:00 and 18:00). DiDi is the dominant ride-hailing app, and Alipay's Transport function lets foreigners scan QR codes for metro and bus payment.

Food

  • Peking Duck is Beijing's signature dish: crisp-skinned roast duck carved tableside, served with thin pancakes, spring onions, cucumber, and sweet bean sauce.
  • Jianbing is Beijing's most popular street breakfast: a thin savory crepe griddled with egg, crispy cracker (baocui), scallions, cilantro, and chili-hoisin sauce.
  • Mongolian Hot Pot, a winter favorite in Beijing, has diners cooking thinly sliced lamb, beef, and vegetables in a simmering communal broth. For classic hutong fare, try Douzhi (fermented mung bean drink) with Jiaoquan (crispy fried dough rings).

Entry Requirements

  • Nationals of 45 countries, including the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and most of Europe, can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, business, and family visits through December 31, 2026.
  • Travelers from 55 countries can use the 240-hour (10-day) visa-free transit policy when transiting China to a third country, requiring a confirmed onward ticket and a passport valid for at least 3 months from arrival.
  • China is largely cashless: Alipay and WeChat Pay dominate payments and both now support international credit cards. Carry some cash (CNY/RMB) for small street vendors.

Weather

  • Beijing has a temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Spring (Apr-May) is mild at 13-26°C (55-79°F) with clear skies and blooming flowers, ideal for exploring historical sites and parks.
  • Autumn (Sep-early Nov) is the optimal season for outdoor sightseeing and Great Wall visits, with crisp, dry air at 13-23°C (55-73°F); late October brings bright fall foliage.
  • Winter (Dec-Feb) drops to -10°C to -15°C (14°F to 5°F) with strong winds. Indoor heating is excellent, but pack a heavy coat, gloves, and scarf.

※ Prices and policies vary by season and are subject to change. Confirm with official sources before booking.

Double Deluxe Ocean View... The room is spacious and the view is amazing. The shower booth is also large... and the cleaning service is good. The soundproofing in the room isn't very good. When walking down the hallway, you can hear people talking in the other room. I liked the location because it was close to everything. There are plenty of places to walk around near the aquarium... and places to take a romantic walk at night... It was really great. The lobby cafe is also open until 10 PM... I went with my Australian husband, and it seemed like the staff weren't very comfortable with English yet. They didn't greet us, just stared blankly... and only responded half-heartedly after the foreigner nodded first... Sometimes, there were staff members whispering and giggling behind my husband's back. There was even a cafe employee who didn't respond and turned away abruptly when my husband said "Thank you" in Korean, yet greeted Korean guests loudly and went over to help them as if to spite them... There was a bit of ******, so I wouldn't really recommend it to other Western tourists... It's just a hotel used by Koreans rather than global travelers... Still, I think it is a really good hotel for Koreans to stay in. The breakfast was delicious, and everything was great, but next time, I will book a different hotel for my husband...

· Yeosu Venezia Hotel 1-Night Stay Review - A Touching Breakfast Review That Even My Mother-in-Law Was Satisfied With The accommodation was the biggest dilemma for this trip to Yeosu! Since I was traveling with my wife and mother-in-law, I carefully considered cleanliness and breakfast before deciding on the **'Yeosu Venezia Hotel'**. First Impression: As soon as I entered the lobby, the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and the tidy 'Milano Cafe & Lounge' caught my eye. The business center and kids' cafe facilities were also well-equipped, making it perfect for family travelers. Ocean View from Room: Thanks to the view of the Yeosu sea and the refreshing breeze from the terrace, it was pure relaxation the moment I checked in. The room condition was also very pleasant. Honest Breakfast Review: Honestly, breakfast is the most important thing for the elderly, isn't it? The Korean breakfast at Venezia was substantial, so my mother-in-law really loved it. Sitting by the window and eating while watching the 'Yeosu Romantic Yacht' pass by made me feel pampered right from the morning. The ingredients were fresh and the food wasn't too salty, so my wife and I finished our meal with great satisfaction. Just like the phrase in the hotel lobby that read, "I am so glad to be on this trip. Even more so because I am with you," it was the perfect accommodation to share with loved ones. I highly recommend this place for a family trip to Yeosu!

The Venezia Hotel, which we chose for our family trip. The location was fantastic. As soon as we entered the room, we let out a gasp of awe at the view of the ocean. You can see the sunrise in the morning. We stayed for two nights and were able to see a magnificent sunrise both times. Accessibility to anywhere was excellent from the hotel, and going out for a night walk to see the night view of Yeosu was also great. The night view from the room is also superb. The room condition was clean, and perhaps because the bed was a Simmons, I slept like a baby. Sleeping away from home can usually be uncomfortable, but this was very comfortable. Overall, the cleanliness was good. Towels were provided, and they gave us bathrobes upon request. There were places around the hotel such as dakgangjeong (spicy fried chicken), gimbap (Korean rice rolls), gukbap (rice soup), and cafes serving brunch, making it easy to grab breakfast or a late-night snack. We had the hotel breakfast on the second day, and it was decent for the price. It was a great way to treat ourselves since we were at a hotel. There were comments saying the swimming pool was small, but we were satisfied. We had a great time playing in the bubble show at night. If I go to Yeosu again, I would choose the Venezia Hotel without hesitation.

The location is great, the amenities are decent, and I arrived early and requested early check-in, which they accommodated. They also changed my room when I was traveling with someone, and they were very responsive to my needs overall. I'd love to stay here again. The breakfast was also excellent.

CHINA WORLD MALL
Beijing is much more than just temples and the Great Wall. It’s home to some of the largest and most unique shopping malls in Asia, featuring futuristic architecture, giant LED screens, concept stores, and entire luxury districts. I've put together a list of the most interesting spots—from premium shopping destinations to futuristic malls, featuring my personal favorites. ⸻ 🏙 1️⃣ China World Mall — Beijing's ultimate luxury 📍 Address: No.1 Jianguomenwai Avenue 🚇 Subway: Guomao (Lines 1 and 10) If you want to experience Beijing's luxury scene, this is the place to be. You'll find high-end luxury brands here: Prada, Dior, Gucci, Cartier, along with premium restaurants, spas, and lounges. The mall is located right in the heart of the CBD, surrounded by skyscrapers. It’s especially stunning in the evening. ⸻ 🚀 2️⃣ Galaxy SOHO — Zaha Hadid's futuristic masterpiece 📍 Address: No.2 Chaoyangmen Nei Street 🚇 Subway: Chaoyangmen (Lines 2 and 6) This is one of Beijing's most recognizable buildings. Designed by Zaha Hadid, the complex looks more like a space station than a shopping center. People come here less for the shopping and more for the architecture, photography, and the vibe of futuristic China. ⸻ 🌃 3️⃣ The Place — A mall with a giant screen for a sky 📍 Address: No.9 Guanghua Road 🚇 Subway: Dongdaqiao (Line 6) The main attraction is the massive LED screen suspended over the street. In the evening, it displays animations, outer space, oceans, and spectacular light shows. This is exactly why the spot frequently goes viral on social media. The best time to visit is after sunset. ⸻ 🛍 4️⃣ Taikoo Li Sanlitun — Beijing's trendiest neighborhood 📍 Address: Sanlitun Road 🚇 Subway: Tuanjiehu (Line 10) This isn't just a mall; it's an entire lifestyle district. Here’s what you’ll find: · luxury brands · Chinese streetwear · concept stores · cafes · highly photogenic spaces You can truly feel the vibe of modern, youthful Beijing here. ⸻ 🌿 5️⃣ Parkview Green — The most unique interior 📍 Address: No.9 Dongdaqiao Road 🚇 Subway: Dongdaqiao (Line 6) This mall looks like a giant glass city enclosed under a dome. Inside, you'll discover art objects, striking installations, designer boutiques, and futuristic elevators. It’s easily one of the most visually extraordinary malls in the city. ⸻ 🧋 6️⃣ Joy City Xidan — Trends and a youthful vibe 📍 Address: Xidan North Street 🚇 Subway: Xidan (Lines 1 and 4) A major hotspot for local youth. People flock here for Korean cosmetics, Asian brands, pop-up shops, cafes, and desserts. Prices are noticeably lower than in the luxury malls. ⸻ ✈️ 7️⃣ SKP Beijing — One of Asia's most luxurious malls 📍 Address: Jianguo Road, Chaoyang District 🚇 Subway: Dawanglu (Line 14) Arguably the most famous premium mall in China. SKP is renowned for its futuristic decor, art installations, mesmerizing window displays, and an atmosphere of an "expensive future." Even if you aren't planning to buy anything, it's worth visiting just for the visual experience. ⸻ 💡 What you need to know · most malls are open from around 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM · almost everywhere accepts Alipay/WeChat Pay · tax-free shopping is not available everywhere · the atmosphere is usually more vibrant in the evening than during the day ⸻ Shopping in Beijing is no longer just about the stores. It’s about futuristic architecture, stunning visual spaces, gastronomy, and a distinct aspect of urban culture. Even if you don't plan on shopping, some of these places are worth seeing just to soak in the atmosphere.

👉 One of the biggest surprises of China for us? Bathhouse & spa culture here is an ENTIRE experience 🇨🇳✨ Not just “go for a massage and leave”. People stay for HOURS: 🧖 pools 🔥 saunas 🍜 food courts 💤 sleep zones 💆 treatments ☕ tea & relaxation spaces After several weeks traveling around China, here’s our updated Beijing wellness guide — starting with our personal favorite so far 👀 ⭐ 1. Our TOP recommendation in Beijing 💎 Beijing Lanting Spa 📍 Beijing This is the spa we visited in April — and honestly it became one of our favorite recovery experiences during the whole China trip ✨ What we loved: 🧖 very large modern complex ✨ aesthetic interiors 💺 relaxation & sleep areas 🍜 food inside - UNLIMITED BLACK CAVIAR 💆 massages & spa treatments 🌙 perfect after long flights or walking days The atmosphere felt much more premium and relaxing than we expected. 💡Especially good if: · you arrive exhausted after a flight · you have a long layover · you’re adapting to China jet lag · you need a “reset day” during travel 💰 ~$25–60+ depending on treatments ⏱ Easily 4–10 hours I have a post about this spa! Check 🙌 🔥 2. The iconic local experience 🧖♂️ Beijing No.9 Hot Spring Club 📍 Chaoyang District, Beijing What to know: · huge complex · pools, saunas, food, sleep zones · very local atmosphere · less “luxury aesthetic”, more authentic Beijing bathhouse culture 💰 ~$25–50 ⏱ 4–10 hours ✨ 3. Clean aesthetic & recovery 🧘♀️ Dragonfly Therapeutic Retreat 📍 Multiple locations (Sanlitun / Dongsi / Liangmaqiao) What to know: · professional massages · minimal calm interiors · easy booking · English-friendly 💰 $40–100 ⏱ 60–90 min 🛁 4. Big local bathhouse complex 🌊 Shui Yi Fang 📍 Chaoyang District, Beijing What to know: · pools & saunas · large relaxation zones · popular with locals · more authentic than polished 💰 $20–40 ⏱ 3–8 hours 🍵 5. Traditional Chinese wellness atmosphere 🌿 Yuan Qi Spa 📍 Beijing What to know: · traditional Chinese techniques · slower, quieter experience · deep recovery focus 💰 $50–120 ⏱ 1–2 hours 🤍 Honestly, bathhouses became one of the most unexpected highlights of traveling in China for us. Not only because of massages — but because these places genuinely become part of your travel routine and recovery ✨ 📌 Save this for your Beijing trip. Especially if you travel actively and need somewhere to recharge between flights, trains, and 20k-step sightseeing days 😅 #beijingspa #chinatravel #wellnesstravel #luxurytravel #travelchina #beijingguide #spaexperience #hiddenbeijing #tripcom #chinatrip #travelasia #bathhouseculture #traveltips

I randomly walked into QINGZHI (青稚护手霜)… and ended up staying way longer than planned. At first glance, it’s just a hand cream store — but not really. 💚 What makes it special: · Dozens (literally dozens) of scents — floral, fruity, creamy, even unexpected ones · Minimalist + aesthetic packaging that already looks like a gift · Everything feels light, travel-friendly, and easy to pack But here’s the part that makes it stand out 👇 ✍️ FREE engraving You can personalize your hand cream with a name or a short message — on the spot. It instantly turns a simple product into something thoughtful and memorable. 🎁 Why it’s such a good souvenir idea: · Not heavy (perfect for luggage) · Affordable, so you can buy several · Actually useful (not another “dust-collector” gift) · Feels personal because of customization 🐼 Bonus: The store itself is super cute (yes, there’s a panda inside), so it’s also a fun little stop while exploring the city. 💡 Travel hack: If you’re struggling with what to bring back from China — skip generic souvenirs and stock up here. It’s one of those rare finds that people will actually use AND remember. ⸻ Follow along — this is just the plan… We start April 18 from Guatemala → Los Angeles → China 🇨🇳 Beijing → Shanghai → Zhangjiajie → Xi’an → Lhasa — and this is only the beginning of our Asia journey across 15 countries ✈️ Stay close — I’ll be sharing what it’s really like every step of the way. Real experiences. Real mistakes. Real discoveries. #ChinaTravel #Zhangjiajie #TripCom #TravelChina #SouvenirIdeas #HiddenGems #TravelTips #GiftIdeas #AsiaTravel

I chose this hotel through Trip.com for an overnight layover in Pudong, primarily because of its good ratings. I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The hotel is very upscale with brand new facilities and smart features that made my stay incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were very patient, and the lobby staff were also very welcoming. On the day of arrival, due to time constraints, I had to change my pick-up time several times, but they were very accommodating, and I even received a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return. This is the only hotel I've stayed at during my many layovers in Pudong that offers a shuttle bus service every half hour. If I had to pick a fault, it would be the location. While it's not far from Pudong Airport, the evening pick-up still took almost half an hour. However, the morning drop-off only took 15 minutes. It might be because of its proximity to Shanghai East Railway Station, which means there are many large trucks on the road, making it a bit noisy in the morning. Huge thanks to the front desk for their thoughtful service! They upgraded our room after a snag, which was absolutely fantastic. My kid loved it, and the price was great for such five-star service. Excellent 2018 review
Finding a hotel this time around took ages, and a lot of the reviews I saw weren't great, including other Huazhu hotels. Even though this place had decent reviews and a friend recommended it, I was still a bit nervous before checking in. **Environment:** The hotel entrance felt a little cramped, but once inside, it instantly felt comfortable. The light, minimalist style is exactly what I like. The room layout was also very pleasant; the lighting and space were both great. **Facilities:** The room had a coffee machine ☕ which was very convenient, and a fridge (with soft drinks inside). The lobby also had water brewed by the hotel itself. **Hygiene:** Very clean! This was my biggest concern, and I gave it a thorough look-over as soon as I entered. **Service:** I was genuinely impressed with the service this time. Staff members would actively approach and ask if I needed anything if we made eye contact, always with a smile. The cleaning lady even politely greeted me with a 'Good morning' as I left my room and asked, 'May I clean the room now?' Just a minor point: the front desk staff said the room they arranged had a better view (facing the golf course), but all I saw was a messy rooftop 🤣. However, it was quiet, which was a plus and didn't affect my overall satisfaction. **Food:** The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive, covering Chinese and Western styles, coarse grains, fine noodles, and fruits. If you're not looking for steak for breakfast, it's perfectly adequate for a regular meal (didn't get a full photo, but there's also a coffee machine and toaster 🍞). The room is equipped with an old-fashioned apartment. It is quiet and large. The price is right. You can also go to Xijiao Park for a walk. The focus here is on service. On February 12, 2025, a receptionist in a dark blue suit asked her for a bottle of water at the front desk. The first time she said, ”We don't have it at the front desk.” The second time she said, ”Five yuan a bottle.” May I ask what the free provision clearly written on the bottled water means? I forgot to bring my card. I just need to provide information at the front desk to open a new one. There are two of us living here. What's wrong with opening one more card? Do you need to complain about how many cards we have opened? The attitude of the security guards at the door is better than yours! Please don't bring this state-owned enterprise work smell. Can you have a service attitude? The attitude of the front desk service girls at other times is very good! Two stars are completely deducted for this ”young lady” at the front desk who came to work!

Very Good 3033 review
I had some errands to run on Changshou Road, so I booked this hotel to avoid rushing back home. It turned out to be a great choice. **Location:** The hotel is incredibly well-situated. There are subway stations (I believe lines 7, 13, and 14) just a short walk in either direction. Plenty of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores are all around – it's a prime downtown location, making everything from dining to transportation super convenient. **Cleanliness:** No complaints here. From what I could see, the windowsills, tables, and chairs were all spotless. There were no strange odors in the room or bathroom either. **Service:** The staff were very proactive and attentive to all my requests. The hotel also has a concierge on the first floor that handles package deliveries and offers free luggage storage. For food deliveries, a robot brings them right to your room door. The front desk even gave me a free room upgrade and a complimentary breakfast, which was quite good (check out the last four photos) – a nice mix of Western and Chinese options. Overall, a very satisfying stay. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance. Show more I had some errands to run on Changshou Road, so I booked this hotel to avoid rushing back home. @Guest User What a beautiful hotel. The location was perfect near several walkable sight seeing destinations and attractions. Beautiful time of year to see blooming cherry blossom trees. Love the spaciousness of the room we were in that had two beds. We did book the room with an ocean view. Which we got to see fireworks, Odongdo Island and Jasan Sunrise Pavilion area. They do have great restaurants and cafes very near by. To include the very lovely cafe on premises which we enjoyed indulging on their chocolate ice cream they served so beautifully. The only thing which is out of the hotels control is its SLOW moving elevators which they only have 3 for its grand size. Other than that, the staff were super friendly and the free parking was a plus. Also a plus, is they have a few restaurants right out its doors to include a GS25 convenience store. I definitely would recommend this hotel for your Yeosu adventures.

@Guest User We stayed here for 3 nights while in Shanghai and enjoyed our time there. The location is excellent ( walk right out onto Nanjing Pedestrian street) The staff is welcoming and friendly. The hotel is clean and the room was spacious! Check in was a breeze. We opted for the family room and it had a separate living area and bedroom. It was super nice. We had a view of Nanjing Rd and heard zero noise from the bustling road below us. They provided complimentary tea and coffee in the room along with a mini fridge filled with various items ( drinks, beer, water and chocolates) They provided a safe, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, slippers and robes. It was my sons birthday they day we arrived and they sent a cake to our room:) I had mentioned that in the booking along with a request for a view. Both were obliged :) The breakfast was excellent with a ton of options ( both American and Asian cuisine) There is plenty of seating and great views! The concierge was fantastic! They arranged a riverboat cruise for us and an amazing massage for my mom and I. The spa was great and we had the most relaxing massage. The spa staff was fantastic and so friendly. They even took us in very last minute without issue. Though it is separate from the hotel- they gave a fantastic discount for being a guest there. Our stay was a 10/10 and I would stay here again!!

It serves Chinese and Western buffet breakfast, and its restaurant gathers distinctive delicacies at home and abroad, including truffle light meals and exquisite afternoon tea, making it an ideal venue for family and friends gatherings. To further upgrade the service experience, we have launched exclusive local experiences: distinctive intelligent short video shooting. The hotel provides cheongsam dressing, makeup and styling services, enabling guests to enjoy vintage Shanghai-style Internet-famous check-ins, Shanghai-themed portrait photography, and immerse themselves in the nostalgic charm of the old Shanghai Bund.

The hotel is adjacent to People's Square, Madame Tussauds Shanghai, City God Temple, Yuyuan Garden, the Bund and Huaihai Road Business District. Across the river, you can overlook the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai World Financial Center. It is within walking distance to Exit 5, 6 and 19 of People's Square Metro Station (Line 1, 2, 8) and Exit 1 of East Nanjing Road Metro Station (Line 10). Boasting extremely convenient transportation, it offers a pleasant environment and a comfortable free journey for every guest.

Yitel is like a beautiful melody played by Chinese and Western musical instruments. It is just like wandering along a forest path, listening to the gurgling stream, cleansing the dust and weariness of the soul.

@Janicatse The location is great, near to many famous food places and shopping district. However, the hotel room is small, bathroom is small too. The room has a smell of mouldy air con, or clothes not dried with sun kind of smell that lingered for long. They don’t change bedsheets or blanket covers unless requested (we stayed five nights). And after night 3 I requested cos it was dirty. Ordering food and collection of Taobao parcels were easy. Service staff were friendly. So all they need is really a Reno I guess. Oh there is no drop off area for hotel so getting on cabs or didi was a bit difficult but doable.
