If you're tired of The Peak, you can come here instead. The view overlooking The Peak is amazing, and you can walk around the entire level. The views are stunning and offer a different perspective. We came here and then took the AE train back to the airport – very convenient!

There was more to see than I expected, and I was captivated by the dazzling night view. Next time, I'll have to go during the day to see a different view.

We came because we managed to snag a buy-one-get-one-free deal, and it was surprisingly great! The views were expansive and quite different from Victoria Peak's scenery. We even participated in the roulette game and won a prize (so happy! 🥳). However, since we arrived in the afternoon, after 6 PM, the tickets go on sale, which causes a huge crowd and slightly diminishes the experience (but it's still much better than Victoria Peak).

Having been to countless rooftops, the view from here at night is quite nice.

The room was clean and housekeeping was prompt. I also got a late check-out. There were quite a few foreigners staying at the hotel, and all the rooms had a European style. The only thing was, I had to remind the staff at check-in about the room upgrade that was clearly stated on my Ctrip booking before they actually gave it to me. It would be better if they proactively checked the order for upgrades next time.

💯 We chose Sofitel during our Dragon Boat Festival trip to Beijing, and it was a perfect experience. The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the major attractions. The room was spacious and bright, with a stunning city view from the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the bedding was comfortable in a quiet environment. The location is fantastic, with easy transportation, right in the core of Jianguomen within the Second Ring Road. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, and a very short drive to Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, and Wangfujing. It makes sightseeing and getting around incredibly hassle-free, making it the top choice for a trip to Beijing. Beira warmly checked us in and even upgraded our room type. It was a very pleasant stay! 👍

1. **Unbeatable Location:** Situated at No. 36 Xiaoyun Road in Chaoyang District, right in the heart of the Third Embassy Area, just a 3-minute walk to the US Embassy. It's also close to Liangmaqiao/Sanyuanqiao subway stations (approx. 900 meters) and offers easy access to Sanlitun, Solana, and the airport expressway. 2. **Excellent Service Reputation:** The front desk staff are professional and responsive, handling requests like turndown service, deliveries, and room changes with great care. Following Air China's service standards, cleanliness rates 4.7/5 and service 4.7/5. 3. **Spacious and Comfortable Rooms:** Starting from 40 sqm, rooms are well-designed with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. Bathrooms are large, feature separate wet and dry areas, include a bathtub, and have ample hot water. 4. **Comprehensive Facilities:** Enjoy a complimentary indoor swimming pool and gym, free parking, and a lobby lounge/coffee shop/tea room, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. 5. **Abundant Breakfast:** A rich buffet with both Chinese and Western options. Window seats offer great views, and the breakfast is considered high value for money. 6. **Great Value for Money:** Offers 5-star amenities at a lower price point compared to other 5-star hotels in the same area.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near China World Mall, just a ten-minute walk away. The surrounding area has everything you need: transportation, shopping, and dining options. The staff are very professional, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of tasty options. However, the room facilities are a bit old, and there was a slight electrical buzzing noise in the room. It wasn't very loud, but it did impact my sleep.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. I've stayed at many hotels in the area, and I'd highly recommend this one. The service is excellent, it's very quiet, and while the facilities aren't new, they are extremely clean and well-maintained. You can tell they take good care of the place. The lobby staff are very enthusiastic, and I especially want to commend employee #178 who cleaned my room – she was friendly, always willing to help, and very efficient. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area Beijing|0.86km from city center
We stayed at this hotel in Beijing for 6 nights, and it offers a fantastic view of Beijing's new landmarks: the China Zun and the 'Big Trousers' (CCTV Headquarters). Sitting by the window, sipping tea, and watching the landmarks change color from white to yellow, then pink, and then blue was incredibly relaxing! The best part is that the subway entrance (Lines 2 and 5) is right outside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to get to almost every attraction. Super convenient!

Pros: excellent location next to Wangfujing. Opposite is 7-11 and some food stalls so not to worry if you need food late at night. Hotel allows storage of bags when we go out for short trip and collection of parcels. They helped to liaise with courier on collection of the package which we appreciate given we have no China number. Pillow selections are available if you prefer harder pillow. Cons: hotel quite dated and old. The air dryer is old school dryer and can be replace with a better & faster version. Shower side has no door so water splash out to the sink area. Def need renovation if they want to keep up with other hotels

The location is unbeatable! It's just a few minutes' walk to Wangfujing, and you can stroll to Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. There's a subway station right across the street, making it super convenient to get around. The room was spotless. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing was good. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the shower had great water pressure and hot water. I really liked the scent of the toiletries too. Breakfast was delicious, with stir-fries, baozi (steamed buns), and zhajiangmian (noodles with fried sauce) – very satisfying. All the staff were lovely. When I checked in, they proactively told me the quickest way to get to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen. They replenished water and tissues daily in the room, and even gave me a souvenir when I checked out. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I'd likely stay here again on my next trip to Beijing.

My stay here was excellent! The hotel is in a fantastic location – quiet yet central, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and very bright, and it was spotlessly clean. The bedding was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby. The common areas were clean and tastefully decorated, and the front desk staff were incredibly patient and attentive, answering all my questions. Overall, the service was thoughtful and top-notch. This stay exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic – shopping areas and attractions are all within walking distance, making transportation a breeze and saving a lot of hassle. The biggest surprise was the hotel's intangible cultural heritage experience program. The instructor was very detailed in their explanation, and the hands-on creation of traditional crafts felt incredibly ceremonial. It was both relaxing and a great way to experience local culture, suitable for both adults and children. The accompanying gym is also worth mentioning; the space is clean and well-ventilated, equipped with a full range of cardio and strength training machines. A workout there really helps shake off travel fatigue. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. Highly recommend!

My child chose this hotel for their college entrance exam because of its proximity to Luhe High School. We were very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel's service throughout the exam period. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, even delivering takeout directly to our room. The cleaning staff were also very thoughtful. The hotel also offered a refrigerator for storing items, and ice was provided for cold drinks. The freshly ground coffee from the front desk was also very fragrant and refreshing. Most of the guests during the exam period were students and parents, and the environment was very quiet, which was conducive to students studying and resting.

About Beijing

Beijing is China's capital, where ancient imperial history meets modern energy. The city holds the Forbidden City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 600 years of history and more than 186,000 cultural relics, alongside the restored Ming Dynasty watchtowers of Badaling on the Great Wall. Beyond the monuments, the Summer Palace spreads across Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill in Haidian District, while Shichahai's lake district and the surrounding hutong alleyways hum with roast duck aromas, teahouses, and the sounds of daily life. The Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing emperors once performed harvest rituals, still anchors the southern stretches of the city with its detailed Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.

When to Book Beijing Hotels

  • Beijing hotel prices drop to $50-$80 per night in January-February and November-December, compared to $70-$120 during the June-August summer peak.
  • Chinese New Year can spike Beijing hotel rates even during the winter low season (Jan-Feb), so check the lunar calendar before booking.
  • In Beijing, early September rates are noticeably lower than during Golden Week (first week of October), when prices across the city rise sharply.
  • Budget hotel districts in Beijing: Chaoyang 4-star hotels average roughly $75/night, Dongcheng guesthouses around $45/night, Haidian 3-star roughly $60/night, and Xicheng boutique stays near $50/night.
  • Booking Beijing flights 2-3 months in advance and staying in budget-friendly neighborhoods like Xisi district helps stretch your budget the furthest.
  • Off-peak season (December through February) brings the cheapest Beijing flights and hotel rates; just steer clear of Chinese New Year dates for the lowest prices.
  • On Trip.com, look for new-user coupons, daily deals, promo codes at checkout, mid-week stays, and membership points to trim Beijing hotel costs.

Beijing Travel Essentials

Transport

  • Beijing has two major airports: Capital International (PEK, about 25 km northeast of the center) and Daxing International (PKX, about 53 km south).
  • The Airport Express subway from PEK costs CNY 25 (~$3.69) per person and reaches the city center (Dongzhimen or Sanyuanqiao) in about 36 minutes. A taxi costs roughly CNY 150-250 (~$22.14-$36.90) and takes 60-90 minutes.
  • The Beijing subway is the most efficient way around the city; fares are CNY 5-10 (~$0.74-$1.48) per ride. Avoid buses and taxis during rush hours (around 08:00 and 18:00). DiDi is the dominant ride-hailing app, and Alipay's Transport function lets foreigners scan QR codes for metro and bus payment.

Food

  • Peking Duck is Beijing's signature dish: crisp-skinned roast duck carved tableside, served with thin pancakes, spring onions, cucumber, and sweet bean sauce.
  • Jianbing is Beijing's most popular street breakfast: a thin savory crepe griddled with egg, crispy cracker (baocui), scallions, cilantro, and chili-hoisin sauce.
  • Mongolian Hot Pot, a winter favorite in Beijing, has diners cooking thinly sliced lamb, beef, and vegetables in a simmering communal broth. For classic hutong fare, try Douzhi (fermented mung bean drink) with Jiaoquan (crispy fried dough rings).

Entry Requirements

  • Nationals of 45 countries, including the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and most of Europe, can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, business, and family visits through December 31, 2026.
  • Travelers from 55 countries can use the 240-hour (10-day) visa-free transit policy when transiting China to a third country, requiring a confirmed onward ticket and a passport valid for at least 3 months from arrival.
  • China is largely cashless: Alipay and WeChat Pay dominate payments and both now support international credit cards. Carry some cash (CNY/RMB) for small street vendors.

Weather

  • Beijing has a temperate monsoon climate with four distinct seasons. Spring (Apr-May) is mild at 13-26°C (55-79°F) with clear skies and blooming flowers, ideal for exploring historical sites and parks.
  • Autumn (Sep-early Nov) is the optimal season for outdoor sightseeing and Great Wall visits, with crisp, dry air at 13-23°C (55-73°F); late October brings bright fall foliage.
  • Winter (Dec-Feb) drops to -10°C to -15°C (14°F to 5°F) with strong winds. Indoor heating is excellent, but pack a heavy coat, gloves, and scarf.

※ Prices and policies vary by season and are subject to change. Confirm with official sources before booking.

Double Deluxe Ocean View... The room is spacious and the view is amazing. The shower booth is also large... and the cleaning service is good. The soundproofing in the room isn't very good. When walking down the hallway, you can hear people talking in the other room. I liked the location because it was close to everything. There are plenty of places to walk around near the aquarium... and places to take a romantic walk at night... It was really great. The lobby cafe is also open until 10 PM... I went with my Australian husband, and it seemed like the staff weren't very comfortable with English yet. They didn't greet us, just stared blankly... and only responded half-heartedly after the foreigner nodded first... Sometimes, there were staff members whispering and giggling behind my husband's back. There was even a cafe employee who didn't respond and turned away abruptly when my husband said "Thank you" in Korean, yet greeted Korean guests loudly and went over to help them as if to spite them... There was a bit of ******, so I wouldn't really recommend it to other Western tourists... It's just a hotel used by Koreans rather than global travelers... Still, I think it is a really good hotel for Koreans to stay in. The breakfast was delicious, and everything was great, but next time, I will book a different hotel for my husband...

· Yeosu Venezia Hotel 1-Night Stay Review - A Touching Breakfast Review That Even My Mother-in-Law Was Satisfied With The accommodation was the biggest dilemma for this trip to Yeosu! Since I was traveling with my wife and mother-in-law, I carefully considered cleanliness and breakfast before deciding on the **'Yeosu Venezia Hotel'**. First Impression: As soon as I entered the lobby, the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and the tidy 'Milano Cafe & Lounge' caught my eye. The business center and kids' cafe facilities were also well-equipped, making it perfect for family travelers. Ocean View from Room: Thanks to the view of the Yeosu sea and the refreshing breeze from the terrace, it was pure relaxation the moment I checked in. The room condition was also very pleasant. Honest Breakfast Review: Honestly, breakfast is the most important thing for the elderly, isn't it? The Korean breakfast at Venezia was substantial, so my mother-in-law really loved it. Sitting by the window and eating while watching the 'Yeosu Romantic Yacht' pass by made me feel pampered right from the morning. The ingredients were fresh and the food wasn't too salty, so my wife and I finished our meal with great satisfaction. Just like the phrase in the hotel lobby that read, "I am so glad to be on this trip. Even more so because I am with you," it was the perfect accommodation to share with loved ones. I highly recommend this place for a family trip to Yeosu!

The Venezia Hotel, which we chose for our family trip. The location was fantastic. As soon as we entered the room, we let out a gasp of awe at the view of the ocean. You can see the sunrise in the morning. We stayed for two nights and were able to see a magnificent sunrise both times. Accessibility to anywhere was excellent from the hotel, and going out for a night walk to see the night view of Yeosu was also great. The night view from the room is also superb. The room condition was clean, and perhaps because the bed was a Simmons, I slept like a baby. Sleeping away from home can usually be uncomfortable, but this was very comfortable. Overall, the cleanliness was good. Towels were provided, and they gave us bathrobes upon request. There were places around the hotel such as dakgangjeong (spicy fried chicken), gimbap (Korean rice rolls), gukbap (rice soup), and cafes serving brunch, making it easy to grab breakfast or a late-night snack. We had the hotel breakfast on the second day, and it was decent for the price. It was a great way to treat ourselves since we were at a hotel. There were comments saying the swimming pool was small, but we were satisfied. We had a great time playing in the bubble show at night. If I go to Yeosu again, I would choose the Venezia Hotel without hesitation.

The location is great, the amenities are decent, and I arrived early and requested early check-in, which they accommodated. They also changed my room when I was traveling with someone, and they were very responsive to my needs overall. I'd love to stay here again. The breakfast was also excellent.

The Palace Museum
📍 DAY 1 — HISTORIC BEIJING It's best to dedicate the first day to exploring the city's main symbols. Start with: 🏯 Forbidden City 📍 Address: 4 Jingshan Front St, Dongcheng, Beijing This is a huge imperial palace, home to Chinese emperors for nearly 500 years. The grounds are truly vast, so allow at least 3-4 hours. Immediately afterward, you can ascend to: 🌳 Jingshan Park 📍 Address: 44 Jingshan W St, Xicheng, Beijing This is where you'll find one of the best views of the entire Forbidden City. And in the evening, it's worth visiting: 🏮 Wangfujing Street 📍 Address: Wangfujing Street, Dongcheng, Beijing There: ✔ street food ✔ shopping ✔ the atmosphere of evening Beijing ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📍 DAY 2 — THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA This is the highlight of the trip 😄 And here's the most important advice: ❌ Avoid the most touristy section of Badaling if you want a more authentic experience. The best option for your first trip: 🏔 Mutianyu Great Wall 📍 Address: Mutianyu Village, Huairou District, Beijing 🚄 HOW TO GET TO THE WALL Most convenient way: 🚗 Taxi / DiDi From central Beijing: ⏳ Approximately 1.5–2 hours This is the most comfortable option. 💡 WHAT TO DO ON THE WALL ✔ Walk through different sections ✔ Take a cable car ride ✔ Toboggan ride 😄 ✔ Take photos of the views ✔ Just enjoy the scale And yes, the wall looks much more powerful in person than in photos. 💡 Allow at least half a day, preferably a full day. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📍 DAY 3 — TEMPLES AND MODERN BEIJING Morning: ⛩ Temple of Heaven 📍 Address: 1 Tiantan E Rd, Dongcheng, Beijing A very atmospheric place with a huge park surrounding it. Then you can go to: 🏮 Hutongs Best neighborhoods: 📍 Nanluoguxiang 📍 Shichahai There: ✔ Old Beijing ✔ Small cafes ✔ Local atmosphere ✔ Souvenirs 🌆 IN THE EVENING - MODERN BEIJING To see the city's contrasts, it's worth visiting the neighborhood: 🏙 Sanlitun 📍 Address: Sanlitun, Chaoyang District, Beijing ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🏨 WHERE TO STAY For your first trip, it's best to: 📍 Wangfujing 📍 Dongcheng 📍 Near the metro It will be much more convenient to get there to all locations. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🚇 WHAT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW ✔ The Beijing metro is very convenient ✔ But the distances are vast ✔ It's best to arrive early in the morning for sightseeing ✔ It's best to buy tickets to the Forbidden City in advance
Sanlitun
If you're ever in Beijing/Shanghai/Seoul — you absolutely have to visit TAMBURINS ✨ It's not just a perfume store, but literally a whole other aesthetic universe. Your first impression is that you've walked into an art exhibition rather than a retail shop. Minimalist interior, bizarre installations, perfect lighting, a futuristic vibe... and everything is so gorgeous that you want to take pictures of every single corner 📸 TAMBURINS is a Korean brand that blew up thanks to its stunning visuals, packaging, and incredibly unique fragrances. Even if you aren't buying anything — it's worth stopping by just for the atmosphere. · Perfumes Their fragrances aren't "just floral," they're genuinely complex and unconventional. There are very clean aesthetic scents, as well as warmer, woody, and even slightly strange ones — in a good way. · Hand creams A whole other level of obsession 😭 The packaging looks like an art object that you want to carry in your bag just for the aesthetics. And yeah... TAMBURINS is exactly the kind of place where you go in "just to look" and walk out with a shopping bag and 300 new photos on your phone 😂 Address : SANLITUN TAIKOO LI 三里屯 太苦里

🍜Imagine this: you've just arrived in China, sat down at a cafe, surrounded by locals, the menu is in Chinese, and the waiter doesn't speak English. Sounds like a problem? It's actually much simpler. 📱 In many restaurants in China, orders are placed via QR code. Simply scan the code on the table, and the menu will open directly on your phone. What can you do with a QR menu? ✅ View photos of dishes. ✅ Check prices before ordering. ✅ Choose portion size and additional ingredients. ✅ In some establishments, you can pay directly via Alipay or WeChat. ✅ Send your order to the kitchen without communicating with the waiter. 💡 A few tips for tourists: · If the menu is only in Chinese, use a translator on your phone. · Pay attention to photos of dishes—they are included on many menus. · Don't be afraid to experiment: sometimes the most delicious dishes are found in small, local cafes. 🧑🏫Interesting fact: in China, QR codes are used for literally everything—payment, bike rentals, and even food ordering. So, it's worth mastering them on your first day of travel.

I want to praise all the services at this hotel; they were excellent, and I highly recommend it! Special shout-out to Crystal at the front desk – her service was outstanding! They organized many activities with a great festive atmosphere. The New Year's Eve dinner portions were generous; besides the seafood, which was just okay, everything else was delicious, especially the local dishes. Breakfast was also rich and varied, which is impressive for the holiday season. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants and attractions near the hotel. The only downside: the Spotted Scat fish at the New Year's Eve dinner was a bit mushy, as if it had been frozen for too long. I stayed in this hotel a few years ago, when roads were still under construction. The reviews I booked this time said the hotel is quite old, but after I checked in, I felt it was okay and clean. I made an appointment with friends here to have a get-together, and the overall service was great. Yes, the food is delicious. I went upstairs in the evening and took a look at the Hema and Sam's stores in the back. The shopping mall is not far away. The subway line 14 is right next to the hotel. It's very convenient. Baolong Hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the underground parking garage is a bit far from the hotel, next to a construction site. However, the service was still excellent, with a thoughtful room upgrade. The facilities are indeed a bit dated, but clean and tidy. I especially wanted to mention the noodle shop next to the hotel; it seemed to be affiliated with the hotel, and the noodles were delicious, with good ingredients, and the service was just as attentive. Hopefully, the hotel will be renovated soon! Show more Baolong Hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the underground parking garage is a bit far from the hotel, next to a construction site. Whenever I have to work late or arrive early for company business, I usually stay here for a night or two as a stopgap. I used to book the mini single room, but now I think I should treat myself better and book a queen room. It's much more spacious and comfortable, and it doesn't cost much more. Check-in is always quick; they usually have two or three front desk staff members available. You can only get toothbrushes and toothpaste at the front desk. Other amenities are either in the room, or if you need more, you can call housekeeping to have them delivered. You need a key card for electricity in the room. If you find it inconvenient to take the card out every time you enter or leave, you can ask the front desk for an extra card. It seems their breakfast restaurant is undergoing renovations; they said guests could dine on the third floor. After all, it's an established star-rated hotel, so the basic facilities are complete and well-equipped. This stay did have its downsides: the bathroom sink drained slowly, and the toothbrush shed bristles immediately (you can see this in the first two pictures and the video). However, these minor issues don't overshadow the overall experience. I had a very good stay and will definitely come back if needed. I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel in Shanghai. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The large bathroom was a nice feature, with a glass partition connecting it to the room, creating a modern and open feel. I was also impressed by the excellent soundproofing between rooms, which made the stay peaceful and comfortable relaxing. Another big advantage was that the hotel offers non-smoking rooms, which helped maintain a fresh and pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. This was my second stay, and I've successfully recommended it to my friends too. The hotel has its own garden and is housed in a building from the last century. Despite its age, the hygiene is excellent. The only downside was the showerhead. It's very quiet and super close to Hengshan Road Metro Station. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby, so you could easily spend a leisurely day just exploring the vicinity. All in all, I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai. @Guest User What a beautiful hotel. The location was perfect near several walkable sight seeing destinations and attractions. Beautiful time of year to see blooming cherry blossom trees. Love the spaciousness of the room we were in that had two beds. We did book the room with an ocean view. Which we got to see fireworks, Odongdo Island and Jasan Sunrise Pavilion area. They do have great restaurants and cafes very near by. To include the very lovely cafe on premises which we enjoyed indulging on their chocolate ice cream they served so beautifully. The only thing which is out of the hotels control is its SLOW moving elevators which they only have 3 for its grand size. Other than that, the staff were super friendly and the free parking was a plus. Also a plus, is they have a few restaurants right out its doors to include a GS25 convenience store. I definitely would recommend this hotel for your Yeosu adventures.

@Janicatse The location is great, near to many famous food places and shopping district. However, the hotel room is small, bathroom is small too. The room has a smell of mouldy air con, or clothes not dried with sun kind of smell that lingered for long. They don’t change bedsheets or blanket covers unless requested (we stayed five nights). And after night 3 I requested cos it was dirty. Ordering food and collection of Taobao parcels were easy. Service staff were friendly. So all they need is really a Reno I guess. Oh there is no drop off area for hotel so getting on cabs or didi was a bit difficult but doable.

@Aisha27 This is a wonderful hotel. The rooftop terrace was our favourite. The location is convenient, it’s a short ride to all the main attractions and places. Staff at front desk were very helpful, they helped order my sister a new bag, and they even went out of their way to deliver the belongings my sister accidentally left behind to our new hotel after we had already travelled to the next city in China. Our room was spacious, we had a microwave in there to warm up our late night takeaways and a washing machine too. 10/10 for convenience and comfort. Thank you to the Yihotel staff, you have made our stay truly wonderful.

@Guest User It was an interesting stay. Great location right off the shopping boulevard. The hotel has a bar and two restaurants. A spa, a foot spa, and gym. We had lounge access which was a nice bonus but not really worth the extra money. You get free breakfast, appetizers from 6-8, and lounge access for coffee and sodas from 1-930. The breakfast was yummy. Offered a wide selection of food with regional dishes to western foods. One of the few places I’ve traveled outside the US that has actual bacon. We never waited but there was a sign saying there were peak hours. Check in was great. I had an issue with a bag left in a DiDi and the front desk agent went out of his way to help me get in touch with driver to recover my bag. The room much like the rest of the hotel feels trapped in that fake opulence that was popular awhile back. The shower was awkward because of its shape but it did have a rain shower which was nice. One of the few hotels I’ve been in lately that didn’t have the bath stuff bolted to the wall (though it probably wouldn’t fit). Huge tub and large fluffy towels. My daughter and I both left with some bug bites from our stay not bed bugs but definitely something. The biggest drawback to the room is the lack of functional outlets. One bed has no open plugs or usb ports the other bed has a wonky extension cord with some usb ports. Found one other usb in the room in the desk area. The hotel is doing some work apparently later this month so hopefully they bring it into this century. One thing I didn’t discover until the next day is there is an entrance from the back of the hotel right on the big shopping street. There’s also a cute little food court right there where you can grab a pretty decent variety of food. One warning is didi and food delivery have a hard time with the address

@Loo Wai Ling Staying 3 nights at this hotel and location just close to Nanjing Pedestrian Walk and The Bund. Hotel Receptionist is friendly and helpful. Especially at noon, one of the receptionist (She, Unknown her name) help us to call to a local shop which I forget to ask is there’s a VAT for the item I bought. Thanks to her. Another receptionist, Nana help us to contact the driver during midnight to pick-up cause our flight is 6am although we booked during our 2nd day stay. Thanks for the arrangement. Cleanliness of the room thumbs-up and very comfortable. During our stay, there’s a construction proceed from 9am-6pm but that is not an issue for us cause we at outside whole day. Definitely will stay again.
