Escala truly boasts one of the most stunning locations and the best infinity pool in Tagaytay. The team is warm and accommodating, big shout out to the security guards, bellmen, and housekeeping for their friendliness and helpfulness.
Just a small tip for the front desk team, particularly the receptionist who handled our check-in: it would be helpful to briefly go over the reservation details and share a bit of information about the hotel’s amenities during the check-in process. This isn’t a complaint, just a friendly suggestion from someone also working in the hospitality industry, so guests won’t need to ask for every detail later on. The hotel staff is very kind and very knowledgeable around the place. They have a 24/7 check in. Very polite
Security: We felt secured in the hotel. They have CCTVs and guards are on duty 24/7.
The location is just beside the main road so it is very accessible. Tho it is located beside the road, we can't hear any sounds from vehicles or motorists along the road. I had a good sleep here.
Water: They have a strong water supply which is a big plus for this hotel as conpared to others.
Restaurant or in house food: not operational but you can order via grab or food panda. no charge.
Rooms: Clean. Bedsheets, pillow cases and comforters are very clean and pristine condition. No moldy smell from room. Spacious and with veranda. Ref is also available. Hopefully, you can add smart tv since your cable tv has 2-3 channels only :(
Cr: Bathtub is a plus point, with hot and cold shower, bidet, and compliementary hygiene kit.
Price: Very reasonable
Pool: needs to provide heater

We decided to check out this property and has a pleasant experience; Viewpark is a gem of a hotel with own charm. It is complemented by Siglo, it's restaurant that serves delicious Filipino food,
As a suggestion and not a complaint, perhaps the size of Siglo as a breakfast place can be expanded and offer say buffet breakfast instead of a set menu choices.
The reception people are very warm and attentive to details, they take time to engage their clients in a wonderful manner.
It has a lot of amenities, mostly in good order, although the games and gym room has some room for improvement where some maintenance are in order.
It's hard not to like Viewpark, needless to say we will be back and very likely for a longer stay!From€32

Our stay in Tagaytay was overall very enjoyable. The hotel offers absolutely stunning views of the lake, which was the highlight of our visit. The spaces are comfortable and well laid out, with a large pool perfect for relaxing.
The staff at the front desk were welcoming and attentive, and the bell service was a very nice touch. We also appreciated the play area, which makes the property especially convenient and family-friendly.
On the downside, some of the furniture felt a little dated, and the response time when calling reception was not always as quick as expected. Still, these were minor issues compared to the overall positive experience.

We had our overnight stay yesterday. We're happy about the price and the room we stayed, complete toiletries. The Room is clean. There are just things to be improved.
1. Bath towels - doesn't smell newly washed
2. bulb lights - its best if it's a higher watts
3. Noise - guests must be advised to lower their noise as other guests are already sleeping at 2am.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay in Via Appia, I love the place, staffs are great, they also have complimentary drink that you can upgrade with special turon for ₱150, it tastes unique with a twist. It’s a must try.
And they didn’t mention that the place gets romantic at night!!! This is perfect for couples who wants to unwind in a peaceful, romantic with a great scenery. Forgot to take pic but they also have the best sunset 🌅

The place was clean. It was very annoying and took a long time though to be able to allow a massage therapist to come and give me a massage. I prefer to stay at hotels for this reason. Aside from the security which I find so restless at night because anyone can just barge in at night esp in the entrance.
The standard room has a door near the cabinet which I felt restless due to the lock can be opened on the outside area. Almost slept 4am due to these things. Could the owners see to it that security and safety is a priority please? The reception area is so DUSTY!From€27

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the smiling guards and helpful bell attendants. Check-in was quick, the lobby was clean and relaxing, and every staff member we met was courteous and welcoming.
Our family room was spotless, fresh-smelling, and spacious with a lovely view. The heated pool was perfect for the cool Tagaytay weather, and the staff at the pool and bar were very friendly. Breakfast was good though the selection was limited, and the breakfast receptionist could be more pleasant.
The front desk manager was attentive and accommodating, even offering a free late checkout. Overall, Hotel Casiana is a wonderful place for a relaxing and safe family stay — definitely worth coming back to! 👨👩👧👦✨From€38

The Hotel was sm & a bit isolated... about 2 Km away from shops, restaurants & main road. The place was open and had sofas in open areas for you to chill.. and enjoy the views/ cool weather.
The staff were helpful & let us borrow electric adapter (when available) for our phone charger.. you might want to buy one in advance! They also help us rent a full day Tuk-tuk as there was generally no taxi nearby.
The rooms have AC but there's NO REMOTE.. you have to stand on a chair in the middle of your sleep to adjust...From€25

I booked a stay at Villa Ibarra to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the Taal Volcano from our room. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was truly magical and added a special touch to our celebration.
We were also delighted to encounter a lot of wild monkeys around the property. It was such a unique and exciting experience that made our stay even more memorable.
The breakfast at Villa Ibarra was fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day, and we looked forward to it each morning.
One of our favorite features was the cozy jacuzzi. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The warm water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for some quality time together.
Overall, our stay at Villa Ibarra was exceptional. The combination of the stunning Taal Volcano view, the exciting wildlife encounters, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxing jacuzzi made for a perfect birthday celebration for my wife. We are grateful to the staff for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable.

The place is really nice and clean. The room smells nice ans ate nelly (caretaker) is very accommodating. The owner and caretaker replies fast and assisted us the whole time. I had a wonderful stay at this 4-star hotel. The front desk team was friendly, professional, and very accommodating from the moment I arrived. They made everything easy and comfortable.
What impressed me most was how willingly they assisted with a special request. I needed to interview the Food & Beverage Supervisor, and the staff quickly helped arrange it. The interview went smoothly, thanks to their support and coordination.
The F&B Supervisor was kind and informative, and the overall experience was better than expected. The staff’s warm attitude and willingness to assist made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and outstanding service.From€31

We enjoyed our staff at the hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff were polite and helpful and the entire resort was safe and secure. It’s really an Eco friendly- green environment made with all different kinds of organic materials- from outside to inside. Local artists- including owners work ,decorate the space. The location of the hotel is excellent. Basically, you can take the bus to Olivarez and get off and walk to the hotel. There is a mall across the road. There are also supermarkets and restaurants in the mall, which is very convenient.
In terms of transportation, if you are a self-driving person, the hotel provides parking spaces, but there are not many. We are backpackers and do not drive, but there is a Tricycle gathering next to the Mall opposite, which makes it easy to get in and out. You can also ask the hotel staff to ask Tricycle to pick you up at the door. If you want to return to Manila from Tagaytay, you can basically stop the bus at the door.
The hotel staff are very nice, neatly dressed, smiling and polite.
The room is small but tidy. Towels are provided, but there are no hair dryers and cups. The hotel is designed with environmental protection and sustainable development in mind. Toothbrushes, toothpaste and slippers must be obtained from the staff. (Of course it is best to bring your own) There is no hot water boiler in the room, but you can refill it freely in the public space. Every corner of the room has environmentally friendly designs, which I really appreciate.
There is a cafe on the roof with a nice view, but there will be people singing loudly at night until at least 11pm. You can hear it in the room, it's a bit noisy. We all fell asleep singing.From€40
