We have two children a 3 and a 1 year old. The staff went out of their way to help. We had an amazing holiday and we can’t wait to go again. The rooms were lovely and had plenty of space for us all. At 18:00 they have someone in the bar playing piano. My eldest keeps asking to go back. Thank you. We look forward to our next visit.

Good location, hotel facilities are too old, leaving the attraction for five minutes walk, convenient

Meet the five-star hotel standard, breakfast is varied, and can order (free), there are hot dishes and various dishes, the room is moderate, the service is very warm, the fly in the ointment is that the elevator is a bit small

The location of the hotel is excellent, not far from the city's attractions, within walking distance. Shopping is also very convenient. There are also many restaurants around. Love the style of the hotel, very Italian

We had an exceptional stay at the hotel. We were upgraded and treated with great respect and kindness. The hotel was delightful and we loved the variety of art.The staff marked my daughters birthday with a cake and sang too! Fantastic! The gardens are beautiful..We loved the pool area and the Jasmine walk.We were offered a special rate for a massage/spa and this was very special indeed!
I want to thank the staff for making our visit so very delightful and my daughters Birthday such a memorable experience! Ì

Amazing hotel with incredible Art collection. Staff were courteous and welcoming at all times. Special mention goes to Christina. She greeted us warmly, with a smile every morning. Pool area is beautiful. Rooms are definitely different than we have ever experienced, each is decorated differently, with colour and art. Highly recommend a visit. The hotel has shuttles to Verona every hour. Very easy to visit downtown and return to the hotel.

From outside nothing ostentatious in this discrete small hotel in an old building of Verone. You would never guess such a charming place and warm welcome. The hotel has a very traditional charm and decoration with hundreds of paintings, plates and other stuff hanging from the wall. The breakfast room is just outstanding and at the mid floor of the hotel you find a wonderful small winter garden full with plants and flowers in which there is a cage with two budgies called “Roméo and Juliet”. We fell in love with Roméo who was constantly whistling at us to call us or to answer to our own whistling. Wonderfully located in the centre of Verone, you can walk easily to every point of touristic interest. As every coin has two sides, it is not very easy to reach the hotel by car as “waze” is not very familiar with the pedestrian area. Fortunately, when we were completely lost, we called the hotel and a valet walked to us and drove us to the hotel; what a nice attention! The bedroom is incredibly charming and comfortable with its subdued light to avoid the big external temperature. You can even completely stop the air-conditioning if you don’t like. Last but not least, the hotel staff is very kind and attentive to your smallest wish. A little bit expensive but a weekend at the Gabbia d’Oro is really a fantastic experience that is worth the price

This hotel was wonderfully decorated. We had a lovely room with plenty of room. The breakfast was delicious. The front desk was very helpful with touring and reservations. The concierge arranged tour for us which was fantastic. There was plenty of room to relax in lobby rooms. We truly liked everything about this hotel with the exception of the rude treatment we received trying to enter the hotel. The doorman blocked our entrance because we had food items we had purchased. In fact he had his back to us blocking our ability enter the hotel for several minutes until he finally turned and asked us if we were guests. The doorman then had to ring the bell to get entrance to the hotel for us.

These apartments in p. dei signori are in a building in very central Verona in one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. The apartments are modern, extremely well supplied with a kitchen/lounge as well as bedroom, (they vary in size and design), and fully serviced in that towels etc are changed daily, beds made (though not changed), and provided with ample plates, cutlery, etc as well as soap and shampoo for the very good shower. Storage space was more than ample, and there is a fridge, safe, and hot drink and expresso machine as well as cooking facilities. The front desk is manned 24/7 and very helpful. Prices are very high but not unlike top class hotels in a similar location, and there are innumerable places to get breakfast no further away than a restaurant would be in a large hotel. The lights and window blinds were very good indeed, though the controls were a challenge. Air-con and wifi both work very well. Apartments facing inward onto the square cost more, though we had one ‘at the back’ which was fine. The square is of course traffic-free, but it is possible to get a taxi to just outside the square, and the front desk can phone for one to pick up from the same spot (the rail station is rather too far to walk, especially with luggage).

This is truly a 5 star resort similar to 5 star status in the US. Wifi was super fast, AC was cold and beds were very comfortable. Also it was quiet inside which was a plus. The unit was super clean and the staff was very accommodating to all of our needs. Everything was as within a 5 minute walk. My picky teenager & husband were very pleased with the stay and wanted to return to rest while daughter & I shop. Plaza delle Erbe pop up shops and restaurants were next door. Architecture was impressive all around. Wish we would’ve stayed here the whole time and travelled up to Rome for the day instead. Try and catch a performance at the Arena and definitely try the Butcher of Verona steakhouse. I will return to Verona!
