The hotel is clean and has a nice Japanese vibe, but it's a shame there's no elevator. I got a room on the 3rd floor, and climbing up and down the stairs was quite a workout! Even though I'm not old yet, my legs really felt the fatigue 😂 especially since I was in Jogja for a holiday, which means a lot of going in and out for sightseeing. Oh, and when I first checked in, there was an issue with the AC – it wasn't cooling at all, making it impossible to sleep and I was sweating a lot from the heat. I wanted to complain but was too tired from the long journey, so I finally reported it in the late afternoon. The service was super fast and responsive; when I came back from sightseeing, the room was already cool, so I could finally get a good night's sleep.

I stayed at the Grand Keisha hotel with my parents this Eid holiday in 2026. The service was excellent, from the security staff, receptionist, housekeeping, to the restaurant, everyone was friendly and served us well. Whenever I stay at a hotel, I always look for wudu-friendly taps, which not all hotels provide, but the Grand Keisha supports wudu-friendly taps in the toilet. The location is almost at the end of the Ring Road Jogja intersection, so you might have to make a U-turn if you're coming from UNY, but that wasn't really an issue. Another plus is that the hotel is close to Pakuwon Mall Jogja, so we could just walk to the mall. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service and facilities of this classic-style hotel.

I had a very pleasant stay at The New Atrium Hotel Yogyakarta. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. Service was smooth, and overall it offers great value for money. The hotel itself is quite old now, but everything was still kept clean and in good condition. I also noticed that renovation and improvement work is currently in progress, which is a very positive sign. With proper upgrades and maintenance, this hotel has the potential to become even better. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We really like the very green building and the room was very comfortable. The staff was very welcoming, nice and kind. The locations is also very nice full with nice restaurants around the area. we also tried the restaurant inside the hotel and we loved the food and wide variety of choises.

Location is right at Malioboro, surrounded by shops and there is live music daily during dinner time. Just need to take note that the roads to the hotel are closed after 5pm, so if you're from somewhere else gg back to the hotel, you will need to drop off somewhere and walk to the hotel (short distance tho depending whr you drop off).

The hotel has an old-fashioned, rustic charm, which also makes it feel a bit dated. Overall, it met my expectations for the stay, and I had a good experience. Breakfast was an Indonesian-style buffet, but many of the dishes weren't to my taste.

Stayed 7 nights for the last week of my trip in Indonesia which helped since they provided a free shuttle to the airport. Having booked multiple hotels while in the region, this one was one of the better ones thanks to the location and views provided by the dining/lounge areas. The convenience store located right next door provided everything we needed and more with local prices. The prices in the hotel for food and other services were pricey, but not the worst I've seen compared to other hotels. The food portions however were not ideal, a lot of the items were the same as if ordered from a kids menu. Alcohol prices were surprisingly good though. The food service was very slow and they seemed to always be out of something we wanted to order so we mostly went out to eat. They had a great pool area and the room was relatively clean. The only room issues we had were the towels and bed comforter smelled a little funky and the bed itself was too firm for my liking, otherwise we had a fantastic view, good amount of space with a small couch and table and free water provided from a dispenser in the hallway.

Overall, my stay at this hotel was satisfying. The service was good and the room was comfortable and clean. The location isn’t right in the city center, but it’s close enough—about 8–10 minutes away. Breakfast was simple, but sufficient to start the day. In my opinion, the hotel isn’t luxurious, but it’s still a pleasant and worthwhile choice.

Great budget hotel. Clean and comfy. Nothing special but good enough for the low price. Location is great, many shops and restaurants on the same road. For £12 a night then I highly recommend. But please don’t expect luxury.
