This is an absolute gem. Location is beautiful step from terrace to pool to beach gorgeous, food at lunch was very good. Apartment was kept spotless daily, clean towels and replenish toiletries. Just a short stroll to plenty of very good restaurants bars and shops, we had excellent food every evening would recommend Charlie Chaplins. Most of all the best staff ever from the waitress to the cleaning staff, receptionists Maria and Marilena where so friendly and helpful, best of all the family owners, Nico running the bar is great and his lovely Mum and Dad make this a lovely small family run hotel.

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday staying at Xenos Kamara hotel. It was our first visit to Zakynthos and everyone at Xenos Kamara made us feel so very welcome. The location of the hotel is perfect with views across to Zakynthos town and the Ionian sea. Access to the beach is via steps from the pool area and whilst not the 'prettiest' of beaches, it was still lovely to be in such close proximity of the sea. Argassi offers a wide variety of tavernas, restaurants and bars as well as a few supermarkets and a superb bakery (Mylonas), all within a short walking distance of the hotel. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with side sea view. The apartment was extremely comfortable and very clean (serviced thoroughly daily). It provided us with all the facilities we needed (except a toaster, but there was a toasted sandwich maker), but suspect the kitchen area may benefit from a little updating. Breakfast was included and offered a basic, but adequate choice of cooked and continental food. Sat on the terrace, eating breakfast and looking out to sea is not a bad way to start the day! Now to the part that really made our holiday. The staff at Xenos Kamara. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. Special thanks must go to Marilena who greeted us and continued to be so helpful and friendly throughout our stay and to Stamatis, Peggy and Maria who provided such excellent poolside service ensuring that we had everything we needed. From day one, they showed such a lovely, friendly manner and again, made us feel so welcome. By the end of the holiday we truly felt that we had made new friends. Our thanks go to all the staff at the hotel who work tirelessly to provide such a high standard of service and accommodation - and always with a smile. We will most certainly be returning next year and look forward to seeing everyone again.

An amazing hotel, very reasonably priced, great facilities, awesome views, a good location - lots of shops / food in walking distance, only 5 minutes drive to the old town and well located to travel around the island (plus parking at the hotel), fantastic staff - so friendly and welcoming and finally it is extremely clean! Would highly recommend - we had an amazing stay!

We stayed at one of the apartments, it was nice and clean, we had two balcony's with a sea view. Staff are very nice from reception to cleaning staff. Everyone had a smile on their face and I felt very welcome. We organised a taxi from and to the airport through the hotel which was nice and easy, it cost 25€. They also arranged a taxi to Zakynthos town which was 12€. Cleaners came every day to empty the bins and we got new towels and toiletries every day too which was great. My little nephew loved the pool and the little play area which had toys. The breakfast buffet costs 10€, it was good but nothing too exciting. There are plenty of shops and restaurants a few minutes away and there is also a little private beach by the hotel where you can go to. I would definitely come back, the staffs smile always made my day, so nice and friendly.

Just returned from a fantastic week at the Xenos Kamara Beach, what a wonderful find this was. The location is superb, beachfront with great views, just off the hotel was the main street with amazing restaurants, Red Wine, Zorbas & Gustos being our favourite. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms were spacious and suited our needs, we had a side sea view with two balconies. All staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Big shout out to Stam & Peggy who run the bar area and catering, such a great atmosphere there, thanks so much for that. We were bed & breakfast and eat well there every single day. Definitely will be returning soon and recommending it to family & friends.

Excellent accommodation. In contrast to previous review we felt the apartments were in good order and kept exceptionally clean by the warm and friendly cleaning team, who cleaned our apartments every day. We were in room 217 so on the same floor. As a couple the accommodation was extremely generous in size and would have in previous years served us well as a family of 4 with a king sized comfortable bed in one room, and a second larger room with 3 full size single beds and plenty of storage space. The kitchen area is ample to knock up a breakfast and lunch. The restaurants on the ***** are excellent, and we ate out every night. Peppermint opposite the Church was our favourite. We loved the beach! Straight from the pool area and you are onto soft sand and into a clear, warm sea where you can walk along way out with the sea still only up to your waist as you watch the fish swim round you. This wasn’t our main holiday of the year, just a cheeky week away in September. We would happily come back, and had no complaints.

I know the reviews on this hotel are great but I want to give my impartial review, based on my opinion..we were a couple 47 & 51yrs old staying in a 2 bed side sea room (213) Cons - Hotel room was very small for a SC holiday. No washing facility and no toaster, just a sandwich maker/microwave Room was very dated and needed a full renovate Cleanliness - I had splash marks in the corner of the bedroom which stayed there for the duration of our stay. There were grease marks on the cupboards, the inside of the shower screen was awful with gunk all across the runner and to top it off, I found a finger print in blood on our bedsheet. Pillowcases smelt damp as well. €45 for a safe on arrival and was told we would get some back at the end of the trip. Was given €5 back which meant it was €40 for 2 weeks! Never have I paid this much before for a safe 😳 AC was €10 a day! Again, not something I have had to pay this much for ever! Bed was the noisiest bed ever! I felt sorry for the people in the room below us every time we turned over! Pros - Lovely facade to the hotel Location is on the sea front, I won’t say beach as it’s not really a beach but still useable Pool area and outside toilet areas were lovely and clean Staff were friendly and helpful Beds were comfortable and I had some cracking nights sleep Reception area is lovely and clean Balcony area was big and had a beautiful view of the sea Cleaners did make the beds every day Outside eating area is good with plenty of tables and chairs Plenty of sun beds Hotel is off the main ***** but noise was never a problem * I didn’t mention to anyone of the above as the staff were so friendly and I also didn’t want to ruin the rest of my holiday by making a complaint, therefore, I would say that despite my reservations, it didn’t impact the rest of my stay, if it had, I would have made sure to tell reception

Can not say enough about this property! My family and I have traveled to many of the Greek islands and mainland staying in various accommodations over the years. This property has a perfect balance of amenities, staff, location and price point There's a beautiful view of sea with the old stone bridge and you can see the main port of the island. Pool was perfect although the deck is a bit slippery even with shoes. There is a outdoor shower area on the side of building with nice large shower heads to rinse off after a swim in the sea or pool and a locker area as well opposite the outdoor showers with bathrooms and changing area. My family had a double room with 2 balconies. Our beds were comfortable, nice strong shower and kitchen was equipped with plates, cutlery, and cookery. Small refrigerator with freezer section, perfect for keeping a few items for a meal. there's a sandwich press and a kettle with 2 burner electric cooktop. Staff was wonderful. The barman Stamatis was very engaging and friendly. Ioanna and Maria were also very helpful and gave us some great dinner spots to try and were on point with their suggestions. Last but not least, our housekeeper Marina was very sweet and really took great care with our things and made sure that when we returned to our rooms for the afternoon rest, everything was tidy and fesh. This property is close to the airport about 10-15 minutes away. There are many small mini markets nearby 2-3 minutes on foot and lots of places to eat. Our family had pizzas by the pool one day and they were pretty good. You can also find a travel agency or 2 near the hotel as well as a representative from another agency dropped by the hotel.

10 day stay in a 2 bedroom apartment. Family of four with a 12yo and 14yo. Location: 5 min walk to the central crossroads of Argassi. Set back from the main road enough so traffic noise no issue. Hotel: Clean and in a good decor state. Cleanliness very good and rooms cleaned often and well. Patio area a really nice place for food and drinks. Food and bar: Well run by Stem ably helped by Peggy. Club sandwich was a go to as we’re the milkshakes and smoothies. Staff: Stem, Peggy and Janet were fantastic. Good service and great company. A real tour de force when it came to providing tips and knowledge. My kids loved hanging with them as we enjoyed a light night drink. Will definitely be back.

Just back from this little gem, got dropped off on the Main Street and just a short walk to the hotel, right on the sea front, lovely amazing staff, the cleanest place we have ever stayed, rooms lovely with very comfy beds, rooms very quiet, best nights sleep on holiday I have ever had! The location was amazing , we alternated between pool and sea all day, pool area beautiful, never had to get up early for a sun bed, always seemed to be beds available, we got sun beds on the beach one day and that is 5euros a bed, and the fresh fruit that is sold on the beach is amazing. As with many places aircon is extra and with this, a safe and tourist tax there isn’t much change from 100 euros on arrival , but we had read this prior to travel and were prepared(with the heat aircon was money well spent) I honestly can not fault this hotel with the location, main road is very busy with traffic but can’t be heard from hotel as it is well back from the road, but there is a massive selection of shops and restaurants. 10 out of 10 from us xx thank you for an amazing holiday ❤️

Just back from another amazing holiday in Argassi, my home from home! Stayed at the Xenos Kamara Beach hotel as always the best spot on the island IMO. Had a fantastic stay as always couldn’t possibly fault the place! That being said it was very sad to stay there without the legendary George running the bar/pool area, over the years he has made our holiday time and time again and to visit without him there was both a shock and a shame the place just didn’t feel the same without him at the helm! Still can’t beat Argassi or the Xenos and we shall be back again, fingers crossed with George returned to his rightful place as the Face of the Xenos ☺️

Amazing hotel, the hotel is the cleanest we have ever stayed in. It’s central to Argassi so in the heart of everything but we had no issues with noise at all in the rooms. It’s just up the beach from the watersports place for parasailing etc We had a family room for 5 people and stayed B&B and could not fault it. The family that run the hire are the friendliest and most welcoming, nothing is too much for them. Breakfast is a self serve buffet with hot and cold food as well as Greek specialty dishes, the cheese pastry and olive paste were huge hits with us. The staff are all super friendly, room service is daily and if you need any help just let the reception team know. There’s a fantastic bar and the food offered includes Greek dishes as well as pizza, burgers etc All of which was high quality and tasted fantastic. Cost wise it’s the same as in the town and the beers come in a lovely frozen glass, very welcome on a hot, hot day There’s also a library area which was great for us and supermarkets within a 5 minute walk, The pool and pool area is spotless, it is open to the public but we had no issues getting sunbeds etc The hotel is on the beach with beautiful views and ideal for snorkelling, we saw fish, crabs and turtle eggs On our wish list for the room would have been an extra mirror in the children’s room as there wasn’t one and a holder for the shower head that was high up on the wall as we had to hold the shower head to wash Aircon is payable on arrival and massively worth it, safety deposit boxes also payable on arrival. We paid around 150e for both for 10 days. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel 💙

What a wonderful experience. Hotel is spotless and the staff work very hard to keep it that way. Rooms are cleaned daily, breakfast and lunch time food is excellent. Quick mention for a few of the staff, Stam, Joanna, Peggy, Marilena, Maria where all so helpful and kind. I would have no hesitation I recommending this hotel for a very enjoyable, relaxing holiday.

Return visit to Xeros Kamara for 6th year running. Love the place but really missed George who we think personally is why so many people returned year after year. He ran the bar and pool area to exceptional standards, it was lovely to meet him at his new venture. We personally preferred breakfast and menu as it was under George, and pre evening drinks on the balcony watching the sun go down when pool area and seating area cleaned. Lovely view to be able to take photos. We will give it a miss next year but good luck to new Bar Managers and of course George

Lovely hotel on the beach, staff are all really nice and make you feel at home. Stam and Peggy at the bar were really helpful and helped us with some venues to look at for our wedding, they both seem to be there 24/7 I don't actually know if they get to sleep haha! Rooms are nice and clean, air con is an extra €10 a night, looks like the units we had in our room were pretty new so worked well, we were on the top floor with a side sea view, I have seen some people say that the mosquitos were bad but we only saw 1 in our room all week and managed to come home bite free (we did have mosquito spray on at nights) Hotel is a 1 minute walk to the bars and restaurants on the main road. The pool area and sunbeds is nice, the hotel does let anyone use this area so you do have people that are not staying at the hotel here but we always managed to get sunbeds. They have a shower to use and somewhere to store your luggage if you have a late flight as they check out is quite early at 10am, you can keep your room towels to use for this. Overall we had a really nice week here at this hotel and would reccomend to others. Argassi is a little more chilled than other areas but still has a few bars on the *****. We had a quad and it is only 20 minutes from Tsilivi, 15 minutes from Laganas and 11 minutes to Kalamaki so all doable in a taxi.
