Diana Palace Hotel Zakynthos
"The food provided by the hotel even surpassed that of the local restaurants"
Hotel Palmyra
"Many of the advertising photos show the hotel before the refurb. It’s now a classy joint with a good breakfast which is what many of the old reviews complained about. A hidden gem at the price. Large car park if you have a hire car. Here are the new pool photos. Mike, Scotland."
Windmill Bay Hotel
"We came back from windmill bay today after spending 10 nights. We went for the bed and breakfast option. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly young woman who gave us a glass of champagne. We went to our room and the air conditioning was great, the balcony view was great as you could see the pool and the sea. Going to sleep there is good as the bed is comfy, there is aircon which keeps you cool and there is an electronic blind you can put down to block the sun from the balcony doors. However annoyingly we were still woken up by the sun because it came in through the bathroom window (which has no blinds or curtains) shined through the glass door, onto the huge mirror and reflected onto the bed. My biggest gripe by far was the wasps, I have never seen so many in one place. The first 3 mornings at breakfast I must of seen between 5-15 of them congregated where the fresh fruit and juice was. I hate wasps and it got to the point where I couldn't eat comfortably because they would fly around me and eventually crawl onto my food despite my best efforts to waft them away. This happened every single morning and the breakfast was average so for a few days I actually ended up skipping breakfast despite paying for it because I knew I was just going to be swarming wasps away. I didn't see hardly any in anywhere else in Argassi so the hotel clearly has a wasp problem. Also the spare sun beds to the right of the hotel on the grass were infested with them flying through the grass so we avoided that side. The prices are slightly more expensive than the town, it can be quite difficult to cross the road to get to Argassi as it's on a bend and the paths are narrow. So to summarise, the hotel is nice but has a wasp problem near the food and grass areas so be mindful of this before booking."
Mirabelle Hotel
"Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. My room (for one) is huge!!! Two double beds, a sofa bed, wardrobe, a shower room, a balcony, (tv), air conditioning, and a fully fitted kitchenette - even has a bottle opener. Is very clean, as it’s cleaned every day, clean towels every other day. The breakfast is good. A decent selection of food. Pool area is clean, crystal clear and cool water. Short walk - 3/5 minutes to town where you can find gift shops, café shops, bakeries, bars, restaurants and spa treatments. As well as lots of day tour operators. A narrow beach - it shelves a long way out , making it ideal for families. Also buses to other towns and beaches & the tourist train. Avoid the taxis, very expensive. Local buses are 1.60€, train 7€ return. I would highly recommend this hotel."
Argassi Beach Hotel
"I stayed only for a couple of nights and i have to say that I was nicely surprised. The room was renovated and the view was simply amazing! Breakfast was good enough for me. The only thing this hotel lacks is a parking space. So if you have a car you will have to looking for parking outside otherwise it's nearly perfect!"
Iniohos Zante Hotel & Suites
"The hotel is located in the outskirts of the beach (small and dirty but well-prepared ) the structure and the rooms are very beautiful . Discrete size phone (for women) in the bathrooms . Parking included in the outskirts of the reception . Double pool with comfortable and level furniture. Not recommended HEADly consume meals inside. We had a all inclusive that we tried to avoid. The luch box ( 1 toast with pig and cheese , a small apple , a whole tomato and a whole peanut , half a litre of water at room temperature ) is unacceptable ."
Ionian Hill Hotel
"Very good, I like it very much. The hotel scenery is very beautiful, especially dining in the restaurant in the morning and evening, it is so beautiful"
Agoulos Beach Hotel
"We spent a week here in august we had a lovely time, this is a family run hotel and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was a bit dated but was cleaned every day fresh towels and bed made everyday, the pool gardens were nice and relaxing and the food and service at the pool bar were spot on "

Katerina Palace Hotel
"Have stopped in the main hotel and the rooms are lovely, clean and tidy, this time stayed in Studio 2 and our room was disgusting, the bed was broken, the mattress was like a sea saw, no slats at the bottom and the ones at the top were broken, told reception they didn’t seem that bothered even though I informed them that I had spinal surgery a few months before and I have a spinal shunt in my back. They told us they had no other rooms and that maintenance would come and sort it, that night we had to us the sofa cushions to prop up the top end of the bed in order to sleep on it. Next morning had to report the shower not working and asked again about maintenance and they told us it would be done while we were out, got back nothing had been done so asked again and was told “the wood shops were closed” so had another night of no sleep, next day they sorted both out. Our fire alarm in the room would go off randomly and we told a Scottish guy on the desk that night and his attitude was disgusting. Asked for the manager the next morning and was told they didn’t come to the hotel until the next day. We were only there for a week so we ended up leaving it as we just wanted to relax. Pool The sun bed wars were a joke and half the beds were broken, the floor was like an ice rink when wet and the pool became really murky by the afternoon as there is no where to shower your sun lotion off before getting into the pool. The kids pool had an orange/green scum mark around so we didn’t take our grandson in there. The steps down to the bottom pool were filthy and were overgrown with bushes making it hard to use them and they were slippier than the pool area. I never once seen anyone checking the PH levels and at night a man walked round the pool with a white bucket throwing white powder into the water without checking any levels. How TUI can post them as 3 stars is beyond me"
Xenos Kamara Beach
"Our first night was not great through no fault of the hotel but an inconsiderate bar owner behind booming out live music well after their trading hours. We did complain to reception that we could not sleep and they really put every effort in rectifying our situation moving us to a room that was the other side of the hotel and peaceful which we really appreciated, staff genuinely want you to enjoy your break from the smiling greetings from 24 hour reception staff to the ever hardworking cleaning staff that efforts really do show in how clean the rooms and hotel are. Special mention to spiros (apologies if I misspell your name) who always was ready to get you a drink or food with a smile bringing it to your lounger or seat. Can’t fault the staff at all they are all a real credit to this establishment. Plenty of loungers no towel fighting and beach is just steps away from the pool. Plenty to do in the area, bars, restaurants, shopping & cheap to get into zante town which is worth a visit especially if you love to shop some real bargains to be found. Lovely stay, thank you."
Admiral de Luxe
"We recently stayed at this hotel as a family of three 2 adults and a 12 year old.We had a swim up room and the room it's self was spacious and clean apart from the fridge smelt of stale milk and I'm pleased I checked inside the kettle before I used it as its filter had mould on it.The pool was great for a hour or so a day then the rest of the time it was freezing as had no sun and also our pool was overlooked by the reasturant so you always felt like you where being watched not very private at all.The hotel pool area has lots of sunbeds and is kept clean the pool isn't very big so once a few inflatables go in it can get a bit crowded. The reasturant has plenty of seating areas inside and out we always preferred to eat inside where it was cooler. The food is really nice for a all inclusive always fresh cooked meats and fish and pastas ect.plenty of drinks choice too.The staff work hard to ensure the dining area is kept clean and plates are cleared quickly. The evening entertainment we only caught once it was a live singer she was excellent but we went out most nights. The location of the hotel is great your practically 30 seconds away from the beer academy and the crazy golf they do lovely cocktails there by the way. Also a handy shop and in my opinion one of the better reasturants in the area The meeting point we ate the on the first night as we arrived late and it was delicious and a good price. We used Michael travel for all our trips and they where brilliant highly recommend using him.The best meal by far was Target reasturant they pick you up and drop you back at your hotel. The food and views are to die for and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. So main points the hotel is up a slight incline. If you get a pool room I'd say ask for one that doesn't have the hotel reasturant overlooking it.Check your kettle before use and also hotel WiFi is good so definitely worth logging into "
Porto Iliessa Aparthotel
"Location and initial appearance is great. Right in the centre of all of the bars and restaurants that serve incredible food. The rooms are a decent size with a balcony that has great pool and sea view. The pool is good too. Bizarrely, there are plenty of sun beds and the pool is never overcrowded. However, the hotel is run down. The bathroom has black mould in the grout and sealant. The taps and shower head are encrusted with limescale and there is black slime hanging from the bath tap. The shower curtain was white at some point but now is brown. The plug in the sink was blocked with dirt and hair. The old hair dryer on the wall was hanging off, suspended by its wiring. Reported this multiple times yet nothing was done. The toilet room door is missing its handle also. The kitchenette area is old and run down. The sink and drainer are rusty, the fridge is rusty, the surfaces were dirty and the cupboard doors are falling off. The key fob slot on the wall that powers the room was also poorly fitted and continued to fall off. When reported, it was merely stuck on with sealant. The main bedroom is outdated, the light switches are cracked and the beds are uncomfortable. If you are going to stay, I strongly suggest purchasing the use of the safe in the bedroom. It appears that if you have anything valuable locked in your room but have simply forgotten to put it in the safe, its fair game. Hotel staff all seem to be pleasant. Particularly the bar staff and the reception staff. However if you have an issue, the manager becomes obnoxious and unwilling to help. You are spoken to abruptly and the waiver you signed on the first day is thrust in your face. Return the sentiment and you're threatened with eviction. Local area is great. The local watersports immediately next to the hotel are brilliant"
Windmill Hotel
"I've been to Argassi before (not fond of the beach), stayed in another hotel which was terrible. Windmill Hotel is superb in every way, friendly relaxed, breakfast was excellent, pool was the best I've been in, didn't want to get out some days. Set back from any noise. Had a couple of lunches, that were nice. Plenty of restaurants to try and all good. My favourite was the one we found (turn right) second to last night. Come to the grill, absolutely lovely, the owners are ever so friendly and very polite, wished we'd found this sooner. I went one lunch time, got chicken salad, it was huge. Then we went the next day for dinner, lovely. Getting back to the hotel. My only few gripes were. You can only have air con on when in the room, so 10 euros a day for say 2 hours is a bit expensive (70 euro for the week) we don't go on holiday to stay in the room. We only had a single curtain which the sun was blazing through all day. A double layer would have made the room cooler. No toaster, dishcloth or washing liquid. Room was 410, nice and quiet. Overall, would I return, most definitely, not sure when, got other places booked for next year already, otherwise I have come here for my 60th. Will definitely be back soon and can't wait. Shout out to Angela, works hard."
Eleana Hotel
"Great hotel, arrived on the 1st of June to be the first guests in the hotel greeted by Olga and George who were very welcoming. In fact for the first two days we had the place to ourselves which was great we were well looked after by the team at the hotel who are great bunch of people. Pool was lovely, the air con was great and included in the price, breakfast Beautifully presented fresh and plenty of it would definitely recommend this hotel a real hidden gem."
