Room small, not enough cupboards no drawers at all, ok for 1 person not 2, Bathroom very outdated with mould All on the tiles over. Bath /shower, terrible stench kept coming up the drains or toilet, Not much soundproofing, very noisy could hear everything, Food ok very competitive every day, went out for all our meals even though we had paid for them ,never bothered with entertainment as had very young children on the dance floor untill midnight,not enough seating around hotel pool, The up side we had a nice balcony with fantastic sea views and short walk to restaurants and bars where we eat all the time at the Irish bar, we did have Fantastic food and cheap, on the same road their was excellent bus service for everywhere, must say it is. Lovely location, but beware if you have a pushchair you have 60 steps to walk down to the beach but 5 mins walk to Toromolinos, no steps

Lovely hotel room cleaned everyday and towels changed. Food was hot and plenty of choice. Nice terrace to eat but small. Need to use your room card to get AI snacks in the snack room.Staff great. Entertainment was ok. Hill not bad at all. Had to get tickets for drinks at the bar which I did not understand as had AI band! AI drinks stop at 11pm. I would go to this hotel again.

was very surprised at the standard of this 3 star hotel would put a 4-star definitely ,room for 3 ladies and sea view which we asked for plenty of room and 3 beds and soffa bed, bathroom had dove shampoo and shower gel,towels was fluffy all the time when changed, as for the dining room large and bright and well organised food good selection all/lnc they also have table for larger familys,could not find anything to pick fault with have stayed in 4/5 stars and hotels and the staff was always smiling and helpful the hotel also have large lockers for your cases you pay for them but safer that putting caes in store room when going home we had a late flight home and asked to keep our room on which was great till 6pm the only thing was it was on a steep hill But I would definitly go back thank for our lovely holiday.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Bali, just the one real moan and that was the swimming pool situation however before that.. Check in We had early flight so arrived before our room was ready,  but we were given bands (as AI) so could get drinks/food and put our cases in the check out room.  When we could check in it was super quick (as only us) and staff were excellent (as they all were throughout our holiday). As you will have read from others, half way up cardiac hill,  not a problem for us but certainly if you have mobility issues I would think twice. Room We got room 2807 which was top floor overlooking the 3 pools with a sea view.  Nicely refurbed with grey interior and really clean.  Throughout the maids did a great job.  One thing was a bit of a concern are the patio doors, when you are outside if you pull them shut in error you are locked out.  Bet a few people have done this in their time.  Very secure but wonder if there is a solution to stop this from happening? Food I was there with my daughter and wife who can be picky eaters.  Breakfast was a good selection of what you would expect with hot & cold to choose from.  I loved the Black Pudding & Spicy Sausages and Wife and Daughter always found something to eat, this was same at dinner and tea time.  Pigs Trotters was a bit odd and even I never touched that but plenty of choice although a lot is fish related,  which again I loved.  Overall choice wasn’t huge but certainly is enough and ultimately its 3star not a 4/5 star RUI.  But it was always hot and staff really do work hard.   Snack bar – Although when I saw this I was disappointed with choice/selection it really did hit the spot for us.  Daughter loved baguettes with cheese & Ham,  We all loved the Crisps (we tended to get these at night for us to have with drinks whilst entertainment was on) and I loved the Olives with an afternoon beer.  So yes initially doesn’t look much but think it is spot on.  Drinks The San Miguel was great and daughter loved the chocolate milk.  Entertainment We never saw them all but what we did it was fine.  Enjoyed the quizzes and bingo.  The movie night was really good but for us it doesn’t really matter as play games whilst it is on. Again entertainment staff do work really hard and it was really good watching the mini disco (I remember them happy days). Swimming Pools Right this was the only disappointment for us.  When we had booked the Bali we saw some older reviews saying you cant take doughnuts/floats etc in the pool and doesn’t open till late. Its very bizarre and I have never seen this anywhere in the world…..  but the pool opened at 11am to 19:00.  I thought the late opening would be an issue but as we got up late and then had breakfast it wasn’t that bad,  daughter is now 13 whilst few years back and younger I suspect they would be complaining.  But also the pools have a fence around that the lifeguards remove just before 11 and then put up 18:30ish…   its very odd. Travelled to the bali end of May. Had a fab time with the fam. Spot on hotel. Location is great and only a stones throw away from the beach and marina. Also nearby is another square with restaurants and bars for a great night out. Nebody worry about this big bank... It's not big and there's a quality boozer called bazzas half way up to drop in. We had 2 machines in our party who strolled the bank for fun. Raquels is lovely for a nice day time nibble so don't bother packing a toastie maker. Floats aren't allowed in the pool so don't buy them unless going to the beach which is lovely. If you really want to treat yourself the dubliner does a great wagu burger with the finest cut you can imagine. Bit pricey though. But worth it Scruffy Murphy also a great choice for food and drinks

Hotel generally ok you get what you pay for, cleaners really friendly and clean to a superb standard , restaurant staff friendly especially the lovely lady with the glasses upfront, who greets you as you come in , food ok I’d say breakfast is the best of the 3 we ate out a few nights although we were all inclusive just to break up the week . entertainment staff really good , only 2 critical points I have is it is really a hotel designed for familys and couples , yet we had 2 groups of British lads that come to Spain for stag party’s at time could get a little annoying and rowdy when they are in a group can be a little intimidating, when you have children . Second criticism, bar staff could be a little more friendly especially the tall guy with the bald head I was enquiring about a drink I was going to purshase as some spirits are not included in all inclusive package and that’s fair enough , I have the particular drink at home never opened it as never knew what to drink it with , so I asked the guy serving me and he was rude saying no no , one of the female bartenders who was nice , after explaining said it’s usually drank with coke and I don’t like spirits with coke so didn’t bother overall nice holiday

I have been to Benalmádena now 3-4 times. I have to say this hotel for my family and I, wasn’t the best… We had to change rooms due to it smelling badly of cigarette smoke? I thought the rooms were no smoking??? The area surrounding the pool was filthy. I asked the reception and staff no less than 5 times, different people if it could be cleaned as there were people walking and spreading it everywhere. Either chocolate or excrement? The pool attendant/life guard absent a lot of the time on some of the days from the pool. We found ants on our table in the dining area and in the bar area, where the entertainment is. My wife cut her mouth on a broken glass from the bar area…Stains on carpets in the communal areas. This just wasn’t right and clearly unacceptable. Day 3 - My wife became ill. Suspected food poisoning. Another family ended up with the same at the same time. Too much of a coincidence. Day 6 - I became ill, again suspected food poisoning. (My wife works for the NHS) This was suspected and obviously without tested samples etc, this wouldn’t be proven. I have never been as ill whilst on holiday. Then had to fly home the next day. Not very impressed overall being honest and we would not stay here again I’m afraid. Ruined or holiday completely! Avoid like the plague!

Currently 10 days into a two week holiday and this hotel is absolutely fantastic! What makes Hotel Bali stand out above any other l've stayed at is the most friendly, fantastic staff from Marc at reception who took almost an hour to book my tickets for Malaga FC V Celta Vigo Il, June 8th 2024, the other amazing lady who works the front desk late most nights to the funny bar manager at Paradise Bar and his brilliant team(€5 for G+T ) But above all I must mention Jota,Victor, Pablo and Neara… These four people truly have made our holiday by not only keeping our son Cian entertained but by being the friendliest and most genuine guys we’ve ever met. They aren't just doing their job,they are going way beyond that by making sure every kid has a ball from 11am-11pm with archery.jenga, water polo and their brilliant shows at night to name but a few of the activities they put on daily. Anyone with kids will know that if they are happy then the parents are happy and can relax. They have ensured our son Cian has loved every second here and we will be forever grateful for that! The hotel is spotless so kudos also to the sometimes forgotten about maids and staff who keep it that way. In the interest of balance,the food isn't top quality but we have paid for 3 star food so can’t complain. There are so many great places to eat within minutes that this is a minor issue. The only other negative is the lift and the time you wait for them sometimes but that's maybe because we were on the 7th floor(at my request when booking) For all those other reviews that mention 'cardiac hill' then take another route or just get a taxi if coming up from the paeso. Our family has been coming to Benalmadena since 1988( my first visit was 2012)and I can honestly say that,again thanks to Jota,Victor,Pablo and Neara 2024 has been the best yet and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we will 100% be seeing you guys again each and every time we are in this home trom home resort. Nosotros te amamos

Good location despite the hill (not as bad as people have been saying it is) restaurant staff were amazing. Staff at reception were rude and didn’t make you feel welcome at all. Lifts are slow which isn’t ideal with young children in pushchairs. Room was tiny. Not enough room for suitcases and pram even when folded down. But for what you’re paying it’s what you’d expect

i love your hotel it is so good i want to go there every day. when i was there there was such things like air hokey the pool the games i love your hotel so much.the food was so good i had such a good time i realy hope i can come again it was so fun i could go there every day

AMAZING. Food is divine and staff are so friendly 😁 such good prices for rooms we went for the sea view and it is beautiful air con works like a charm as well. Highly recommend staying here, it's the perfect family holiday destination due to it's location and atmosphere!

Very scruffy and dirty. Food is like. Pool is freezing. 90% of sunbeds are broken and saggy and are the cheap ones that don't fold. Rooms are a mission to walk to. You pay for what you get. Corridors covered in dirt and the carpets in Corridors have nasty stains all the way down. Have to pay for towels

Absolutely fantastic hotel, much bigger than I thought it would be, staff are very friendly and helpful we noticed our TV remote control wasn’t working it was only batteries but we went to reception and made them aware!by the time we had a quick coffee in the lounge then went back to our room it was all sorted. The hotel is being cleaned daily the rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels issued daily te food was good for all inclusive could always find something, there is quite a lot to do outside also there is the town at the bottom of the street which is a quite steep hill so wouldn’t recognise if you have mobility problems, cross the road at the bottom of the hill and there is a few entrances which gets you to the beach walk along the beach for approximately 10-15 minutes nice stroll and the marina is there with more shops and restaurants it’s absolutely beautiful we went as a family of 3 the price of drinks wether be alcoholic or not walking around was really reasonably priced I was shocked at some of the prices expected it to cost a lot more we will definitely return in the near future 5⭐️ for us thank you

stayed at the bali from the 12th to the 19th of may.we were a party of 6 with 2 young children so had 2 superior family rooms.on arrival we were checked in very quickly.the rooms were lovely,plenty of space & storage for families & were cleaned daily.food was quite good overall,& I am a fussy eater.the hotel itself is good value for money,the pool areas are very well maintained,the bar/snack prices are good.as others have stated it is on a steep hill,but i managed it with an odd rest ( or 5 euro taxi from marina) would we stay here again,we absolutely would.
