"I stayed two nights in Bergen, and on the second evening, I checked into the Bors Hotel. The lady who checked me in was incredibly nice; she listened carefully to my needs and arranged a very satisfactory room for me. When I was about to head to the fish market for dinner after dropping off my luggage, I ran into her again in the lobby. I casually mentioned that my room felt a bit chilly and asked if a smaller room might be warmer (I personally tend to feel colder than most people). She said my current room had a fantastic view and, to my surprise, found an electric heater, brought it to my room, explained how to use it thoroughly, and reminded me again about keeping the ventilation going. I didn't see her when I checked out the next day, and I really regret not getting her name. In fact, I had checked out of another hotel in Bergen a night early and decided last minute to stay at the Bors Hotel. After a rather tumultuous start in Bergen, the warm welcome and cozy stay at Bors truly settled me down. My heartfelt thanks to that lady."

"Friendly staff, spacious and clean room, good breakfast. There is very little to do in the immediate area, but fortunately there is a tram station within walking distance where a tram takes you to the center in just under 45 minutes. For only 51 crowns."

"I think this was a really nice hotel. Comfortable bed and room. I really liked the desk and chair. Good breakfast. The only thing I didn't like is that unlike most other hotels, when leaving the room you need to lock the door yourself by swiping the keycard on the lock. The location is a bit remote, but on the other hand this is a great "base camp" if you're planning to hike Mt Ulriken for example. And the walk to the city center is only 30 min or so."

The check in was easy, however, the room quality was horrible, very small size, the bed quality was very poor, bathrooms had clogged drains, corroded pipes and broken tiles. There was no auto cleaning nor we were informed at reception that cleaning is on demand. Did mot offer parking despite my initial demand, their umbrella service was paid and ripped me off too much extra chages dont know how to get ot back. Overll, very bad hotel."

"I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic. What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century."

"Within walking distance of attractions like the Fish Market, Bryggen, and the Floibanen. Cosy single room. Would have been good to have an extra towel in the bathroom for use as a floor mat, but reception were happy to provide an extra hand towel upon request."

"Wonderful hotel, centrally located, staff very helpful. Clean and comfortable . Included meals , breakfast, afternoon tea and dinnner are outstanding value. Heaps of choices and sufficient quantities. Highly recommend. Gave a 4 for amenities, only because the conditioner needed to be refilled and the sauna was not accessible the day I was there, very minor issues."

"The reason I give three star because we found hairs on the bed on the day we just check in. They change the room for us but a new room also has hairs on the bed, I guess it’s all stick to the quilt cover. Other than that, location a bit far because the tram on that line was on track works, so we need to walk a long way. Service is good, buffet breakfast also good. We choose the Sea-view room, which is good."
