It really is a converted student dormitory. It has pots, plates, bowls, fans, and microwaves. There is also a water purifier in the corridor. Overall, I am very satisfied!

The place is completely run-down and in dire need od renovation. Furniture, kitchenette equipment, bathroom all are past its „best before” date. Service is OK but can not make up for the technical degradation of the facility. Total waste of money.

Although this facility could do with updating it offers an excellent nest for a few days. The staff are friendly and helpful. My studio had a very comfortable bed, good bathroom and well equipped kitchenette. There was a good table for dining whilst watching the television. The building is a short walk to Meriadeck shopping centre which has a big Auchan with lots of perishables available. Also within walking distance are the Musee Beaux Arts which has a fab free garden and the shopping and people watching pleasures of Rue St Catherine. The tram is about 6 minutes walk away. This was my third time staying there and all have been fine especially staff and cleanliness of studio.

I have just checked out of Adiago Access today after a 4 night stay with my girlfriend. Overall the room was tidy and the bed was cosy. The shower was a good pressure and good temperatures however, it was quite small and the bathtub clogged up with water whilst showering. In terms of staff, they were helpful, however they didn’t approach you if you didn’t approach them. We had to ask for extra toilet roll. Also note that unless your stay is longer than 8 nights, you will not get an extra towel, or your room will not be cleaned. A major downfall of the hotel was the pool. On arrival, we were told that no men’s shorts were allowed in the pool, only speedos. We were not aware of this through the apartments advertisements online. The owner / manager of the pool was quite rude also. All in all, this was a fine hotel to stay at, however don’t expect too much!

Nice Hotel not far from the city centre Studio Like large rooms with good facilities and nice Bathroom View over a large parking lot between buildings, but we were a little lucky The staff were very helpful and decent , even for the instructions in the process of self check in, and advice for transportation, lockers sites around the city

Three stars is perhaps a little unfair, but four would be too generous. Our room was fine and clean, though was starting to show a little age. The bed was comfy and the kitchenette was well-equipped; there are three branches of Carrefour City within a five-minute walk. There was a little traffic noise from outside but it wasn't significant, and earplugs are provided. The bathroom, while spacious, had an odd half-bathtub that was slightly awkward and would be inaccessible for those with mobility issues. I can't say if that applies to all rooms. The hotel is a bit away from the main tourist areas but it's only 5 minutes to the tram stop at Palais de Justice and the surroundings are residential. Note that the reception is not 24-hour. It closes at 21:00 during the week (there is a code to unlock the front door) and at 16:00 on weekends. There's a contact number, but you may wish to plan accordingly.
Response from Property: Dear darrenmcc, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay with us. We are glad that you found our room comfortable, clean and well-equipped. We apologize if the odd half-bathtub was an inconvenience and understand that this could be a problem for some guests. We strive every day to provide our guests with a pleasant stay and will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to improve our services. Thank you again for your review. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Yours sincerely, Laurent Dargon - General Manager

This property is in need of renovation. The pictures on the website only show the nicest room. My original room had discoloured and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and the furniture and doors showed splitting seems, chipped paint, and deep gouges. The plumbing was exposed in the bathroom and the tup was half sized and claustrophobic. When I complained, the front day front desk manager just argued with me and told me to find another hotel rather than giving me a room with a full tub saying that was for 4 people. I found their tone and attitude aggressive. Other staff were quite lovely and did their best to make things right. I was eventually moved to a room with a full bath, nicer, but still run down. My loyalty program didn't help at all leaving everything up to the manager, but they were quite nice about the situation. I was also asked to take out my own trash and wash my own dish...this policy meant that I had dirty dishes in the first room and crumbs in the silverware tray.

Really dated room with plaster on the walls, bathroom which must be a good twenty years old, with very little storage space for toiletries, kits and the like. Few sockets and above all some were even in the process of being torn from the wall... Poor water pressure... Also be careful Hotel not air conditioned!! without mosquito nets on the windows (the real unpleasant surprise during the heatwave...). At almost the same price as a classic IBIS where the rooms are up to date with today's standards. Positive point: - attentive and friendly staff - breakfast extremely expensive of course but good. We will not repeat the experience in this chain.

Hotel well located, the people who take care of the reception are friendly and responsive. However, the cleanliness leaves something to be desired, hairs in the shower and floors in the bathroom, unpleasant smell in the room, dust in every corner and the height of happiness discovery of a cockroach in the bathroom....Most of the hotels including this one being full in Bordeaux at that time I was offered a major cleaning the next morning, I appreciate the gesture. The cleaning was done as before my arrival, that is to say passably...I do not recommend this hotel, there is a serious effort to be made in terms of cleanliness and cockroaches...

The hotel is not located in a central area or well located, it is only viable if you go by car if you are not far from the historic center and even from transportation. The case of the other adage in the Plaza Gambeta area is different. They don't clean your room and they don't even leave a broom to sweep. They don't change towels even if you stay there for 4 nights. You even have to take out the trash the day you leave which doesn't make sense since they will have to clean it for the next guests. They do not have reception more than 24 hours. The area is lonely and the cafes and restaurants that are few in the area do not open on Sundays or Mondays.

Response from Property: Dear Alemarcolini Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay with us. We understand that you may find the lack of a 24-hour reception service difficult. Our establishment is located 10/15 minutes walk from the city center but if you prefer to use transport there are two tram stations located 5 minutes walk away. As an aparthotel, the cleaning service works differently than in a traditional hotel. Cleaning is weekly, meaning it is not included for stays of less than 8 nights, but brooms and vacuum cleaners are available upon request from reception. At the Aparthotel Adagio Access Bordeaux Rodesse, we strive to offer a warm atmosphere to our guests and we regret that this was not the case during your stay with us. Thanks again for your comments. To flee. The hotel is old. The insulation is so old that the VMC makes a continuous noise which prevents any possibility of sleeping. The bathroom grout is dirty. The enamel of the bathtub is damaged. There is only lukewarm water. Totally unsuitable place for teleworking. There is not enough grip. You have to unplug the television and the bedside lamp to be able to plug in your phone and computer… Fortunately the staff is friendly. Please don't stay there.

Very bad experience in a second-rate hotel, not worthy of the Accor group. Very dilapidated room, bordering on unsanitary (the windows do not close, sockets almost torn out). Not enough hot water for two people. Electric plates worthy of the worst student residences. Entrance door remained broken for two days, making access to the hotel very difficult and dangerous (attaching an iron bar with tape is not a viable or secure solution...). The only positive point: the very competent and friendly staff doing their best to help travelers.

Response from Property: Dear Juliettr53, We thank you for taking the time to share with us your feelings following your stay in our establishment. We are sorry that your stay did not live up to your expectations. As you have noted, customer satisfaction is the heart of our team's concerns and they are always available to resolve any problem you may encounter. Do not hesitate to report any inconvenience to them. However, we would like to assure you that the window in question was repaired following your report, and that after verification no socket was torn from the wall. The front door which had been sold during the absence of our team was also repaired as soon as possible, as you saw during the end of your stay. Once again, we are sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay, and offer our most sincere apologies. Kind regards, Laurent Dargon - Director

The +: The only positive point of the establishment is that it is quite well located. The -: The cleaning was not done. I arrived in the apartment, there was a dirty sock hiding the smoke detector and the floor also needs to be checked. In addition we pay for a hotel service but it is up to us to take out our trash while the cleaning service is included in the price but given the state of the apartment when I arrived it leaves room for review. There is no socket for charging phones. forced to unplug hotel equipment.

Response from Property: Dear Amimimia, We thank you for taking the time to write to us following your stay in our establishment. We are sorry that the service did not meet your expectations, and we ask you to accept our most sincere apologies. Please be assured that your comments have been reported to our housekeeping service and that further monitoring has been put in place to prevent this situation from recurring. As Adagio Access are aparthotels, their cleaning policy differs from that of a classic hotel. In fact, as cleaning is weekly, it is only included for stays beyond 8 nights. We ask you to believe, Madam, in the expression of our best feelings. Laurent Dargon - Director
