We spent a pleasant night before our Gorilla trek at this lodge. It was comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the view and spent some time watching the brilliant sunbirds from the porch. The menu included several options for various preferences and we enjoyed our selections. The staff were congenial, responsive and professional. A good option for gorilla trekkers as it is a restful place to stay close to the Rushaga Gorilla Trek starting point.

Incredible staff! Jackie is one of the kindest persons I've met. Clean and comfortable lodge with delicious food. The road to this lodge is an adventure all by itself, but well worth the trip. Most travelers stay here for the gorilla treks in Bwindi. We stayed almost a week to rest after flying from USA to Uganda. We bird watched, visited the Batwa, enjoyed the local dancers, trekked to the gorillas and relaxed. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, with a lovely view, and the food was delicious. Couldn't ask for more!

My stay at the Rushaga Gorilla Lodge far exceeded my expectations. If I were to return, and would love to, I would stay more than the two nights I needed to be there to make my habituation gorilla trek possible, so very close to the headquarters. I stayed in a deluxe single cottage tucked into the forest like a tree house. The entire property was so serene, the accommodations charming and clean, the food delicious and the staff the finest. I want to particularly acknowledge Elizabeth (property manager), Nico and Jackie (wait staff), and Osbert (head of housekeeping) for their assistance, professionalism and kindness.

We stayed for 2 nights over the new year; the Lodge was comfortable, the staff were great, laundry service, boot cleaning after the gorilla trekking; the meals were great and the new years celebration was outside by the pool area with a special meal and local entertainment .

The Rushaga Gorilla Lodge is one of the most comfortable places I have stayed ! The view is stunning, the staff friendly, caring and courteous, the food divine and so close to the mountains to do the gorilla trekking. It is clean, safe and easily accessible. It is like Shangri La ! I had a fantastic experience at the Lodge and apart from the internet which could be quite slow at times and the occasional black outs very quickly remedied by generator electricity I strongly recommend the Lodge as a place to stay for your gorilla trekking. I have the best time of my life at the Lodge ! Thanks to all the staff there including Roger, Elizabeth and Leon who was so helpful to my every need during my stay :)

Amazing hotel, our room had an incredible balcony view of the forest. Our bathroom had good water pressure and hot water so it definitely felt like glamping. A short ten minute drive to the entrance of the gorilla trekking experience, which is of course the highlight of the entire trip. The hotel had wifi in the reception area as well as a pool and gym. The food was also good! Would definitely stay here again.

Well, this place is IT! I had the most incredible stay here, and of course, an incredible day of gorilla trekking! Rushaga Gorilla Lodge is beautiful, very clean, and incredible staff who will get you anything you need. The food is delicious and after a day of gorilla trekking, they even have massage therapists on staff who are excellent! They have two pools, a beautiful bar and outside seating area, and even pack you a lunch for your day of trekking or the day you leave. They truly have thought of everything!

Spent two nights at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge (booked through African Pearl Safaris), pre and post Gorilla trekking. Our room was very spacious, clean and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The bathroom was very large and clean, though it could use a refresh (a little dated), but everything worked so it didn't bother us. Our meals were very good and their packed lunch for the trek was more than enough. They offered all day complimentary coffee, tea and hot coco in the main lodge area (where there is wifi and board games). Staff was very friendly and even helped us clean our muddy boots after our trek. I don't think my boots were ever that clean! They have a large hot tub and pool that was being cleaned and serviced while we were there. We didn't mind that it wasn't open, it was cold and rainy during our visit. The lodge brought in a local dance troupe for a short show and they sold some crafts. The location of the lodge was very close (15 minutes) from the meeting point to start the trek.

I went with my brother to just relax and get away from it all. The best trip I have ever made. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff extremely welcoming. It can be chilly at night, but the staff were on que with a hot water bottle!!!. The food and ambience is next to none. Already looking forward to my next stay.
