Lovely hotel, the location of the hotel isn’t far from most attractions. A perfect destination for tourist visiting the North.

The hotel is ok if you book it for 3 people or less. I booked it for my family of 4 and the description on the booking site was different from what I had. Description on Trip.com clearly mentioned that I will have 1 double bed and 2 single beds, but 1 single bed finally changed to a sofa bed. I did discuss it with the concierge, and she said the hotel policy can arrange a sofa bed if 3 bed’s bedrooms are full. I did check again, I really didn’t find it on policy page and also room description. Lastly, the sofa bed, I actually don’t think it is a sofa bed. The sofa cannot be extended. The arm of the sofa and the back of the sofa are still there.

Stay was brilliant, staff were extra attentive when I needed a charger and a bottle of spring water when the bar wasn’t yet open. Staff came to find me to give me a bottle of water. This was unexpected. Very much appreciated. This is next level customer service in comparison to your average hotel. Many thanks

Really disappointed, for the price. The food is tasteless, the room was noisy as the walls are paper thin, the rooms are tired and outdated. The gym is also tired. Not worth the price at all. Stay elsewhere

Lovely staff, lovely hotel. Food was excellent from the bar. Great central location for the shops and the castle and also if yiu fancy a bike ride you can head to the castle and follow the coastal road.

Great for a family night away, pool was very good and convenient location to walk to the castle. The bar restaurant food is excellent and very child friendly.

We have stayed before and its a lovely base. Staff are good, we came in with a takeaway and the lady on reception asked if we would like plates and cutlery. Nice touch. Only thing i didn't like was the shower in the bath as you got soaked turning it on . Needs a door that is movable. Would go again . We have been twice in 6 weeks . Only other thing is maybe another staff member at check in as was busy , only one lady on . She was efficient but alone.

Stayed here on the 15th to the 16th of Feb; we had a room for 3 people. We arrived at the hotel and from the outside it looked “nice”… the reception lovely… the receptionist even lovelier. We then went to our room, it was dated. The room was cold, you could hear the cars on the road and when exploring the new digs, there was poop in the toilet. It may have been backflow through the pipes but this pretty much just summed up the experience of the hotel. At the end of the day, it’s a room with a bed and it is what you make it. So we went for food. We were optimistic. This was a mistake. I had the rogan Josh dish, the naan bread was tiny.. not enough naan. Saying this; maybe it was a good thing as I felt horrific for little while afterwards. My relatives got the lamb. It was abysmal. It was either left over from the day before or they had brought it from ASDA across the road and microwaved it. Not value for money. AVOID. (The positive is that ASDA is opposite, so if you found the food to be underwhelming and had some unnerving texture to it, pop across the road and purchase food for a fuller stomach. Later, we went for a swim, the lady on the desk was helpful, she was brilliant. The swimming pool. It was not bad. If you want to use hotel as a base and a bed then book. Don’t go to the restaurant or do but it’s at your peril.

It's hard to find anything negative to say about this hotel. The services are good, and the restaurant serves very good food (I recommend the lamb). The hotel staff are incredibly polite. I highly recommend it, with all the warmth and courtesy characteristic of Wales.

Staff were really helpful. Pool was closed for maintenance but was able to take children to local leisure centre for free. Only downside to the stay was the uneven hallways (up and down stairs) which was hard on a disabled guest.
