I very recently returned from a further stay in the self-catering apar**ent. This may be my forth or even fifth visit - I'm starting to forget now. The apar**ent, as always, is extremely comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. Although it is an apar**ent, it doesn't feel like one. In my view, it is like staying in a detached property. There are no neighbours above or below and none adjoining on three sides. Even the fourth side has no direct neighbour. This is the entrance lobby to the apar**ent and not used by any other guest. The guest entrance is separate and across the way but it is extremely rare to hear any other guest. Everything in the apar**ent is of good quality and it has all you need for an enjoyable stay. The location is good too. Canterbury West train station is an easy walk away and the city itself has a lot to offer the visitor. From the bus and train stations, you can travel all over Kent and there are some great coastal and country walks available. I travel a lot and have a good amount of holidays now that I am retired and as a consequence, I stay in many hotels and guest houses. So far, the apar**ent at St Stephen's Guest House is far and away the best accommodation I have stayed in and it is always good to go back.
