Love love love everything was perfection rooms are new with cozy linen upscale hotel it's modern decor evening fire pits and outdoor lounge area with cocktails and small plates pizza is so good … amazing breakfast parking is free on the property 5 minutes walking distance to the best shops and dining 5 STARS!!

This hotel just went through an incredible renovation. I highly recommend staying here, it's so chic, and incredibly fabulous. It has The best breakfast I've ever had.

This place is Carmel By The Sea’s absolute best. We stayed days after opening and I have no idea what Christine is talking about in her review. Rooms are luxurious with great attention to detail and not at all pretentious. Service is genuine and attentive. The spacious patios with multiple water features, multiple fire pits, pizza over with great pizza, comfortable seating and incredible landscaping. Their restaurant is named Foray with intimate bar and a spacious beautiful room with innovative dishes. This is a family owned property by the Stilwell Family and it’s a gem for Carmel and the Monterey Peninsula. We’re locals and have been anticipating where we will have our family reunion and this is it. Outstanding! Exceeded my high expectations

Brand new hotel with nice vibe. Staff provided great service. Very clean, which I appreciated. However, the room we had was a bit too small for a family of three (two adults and a 10 month old baby), therefore had to upgrade to a suite. Unfortunately they had to charge us an extra person fee for my 10 month old although the suite could accommodate up to 4 guests. There is no bar onsite and breakfast doesn’t start until 8. Breakfast includes only small plates and brewed coffee, no lattes. Definitely not a Four Seasons like we’ve stayed at and did not think it was worth the price but it is one of the most modern hotels in Carmel

This is a typical Carmel old-school motel. Smaller rooms, small restroom, funky stairs and hallways. The front desk service was excellent and employees are eager to please. But the property has seen better days--the drained and deserted swimming pool is a particularly poignant site--and a remodel/rehab is scheduled to begin in August, with a restaurant moving into the corner space on the property. It'll be interesting to see the final result..

Teeny tiny room; a coffee maker and refrigerator would be a great improvement. The office person was very helpful and pleasant.

There was no coffee maker in the room, no mini refrigerator or microwave. We did the like the soap and shampoo dispensers. Light in room was very poor to read by at night.

Very quaint. Bed comfortable, loved the strong water flow in the shower. TV needs to be upgraded!!!! I was surprised to see how small! But overall, enjoyed our stay!

Leaking water in the toilet, noise from A/C'sw from other sources travels thruout the motel. Advertise continental breakfast but nothing was available except coffee, hot water for tea, and fruit. The only part was a great location was a plus. Needs some upgrading. Watch your bill. Charges vary for days of use.

The Room was okay, however the carpet smelled like pet urine. I wasn’t aware it was a pet friendly room/hotel. Probably should have mentioned that, will not be back.

The location is great but the hotel and rooms are very outdated and old. It wasn’t what I expected from the photos available. The staff was very friendly.

Close proximity to main street Carmel - clean with comfortable beds (mediocre pillows) It's really a basic motor inn with a friendly staff and everything within walking distance.

Great location and easy parking. Steps away from the main street and a 10 min walk to the beach. Room was super clean and all the usual toiletries were available. I will definitely stay there again.
