Hotel Regatta Cartagena Reviews

Staff was great, the building itself wasn’t really clean in this covid time (doors and elevator weren’t washed really often). Breakfast was really really basic, we decided not to eat there even though we paid for it. Elevators are quite slow, only two for the 25+ floors. Rooms are not noise-cancelled, you have to hope for a room neighbour that isn’t noisy (we weren’t lucky). The bed is quite hard. The location is ok, quite far from downtown/old city with traffic.

This is my 4th stay at hotel regatta, I'm very satisfied with the service here, its in a great location right across the street from the beach ⛱️ it's the only hotel in this area that has a bar/restaurant right on the street , rooms are nice, service is great, around the corner from bars , shopping and restaurants, will definitely be back again

Good location plenty of restaurants convenient via Uber to the old city. Great view in the room but the hotel itself seems like it’s getting ready to be torn down and they are in the last year or two things are definitely crumbling- the staff particularly in the restaurant were very friendly, but unfortunately, we came home one night to find new sheets that had blood stains on them. Other than that, the price was worth it for a great view, space and convenience.

The location was great, across the street was nice beach. Its not the Caribbean beach but the sand was nice and the water wasn't deep right away. I have booked a standard room first i was on thr 17th floor and room was big but old and the bed was very uncomfortable they put 2 double beds together to make a king bed. I changed to the 22nd floor. Room was smaller but it was renovated and had a regular king bed. The breakfast buffet was small not many choices but coffee was great and also the waiter worked very hard. Ok the pools were most disappointing. Very small, more closer to hottub size.

It is located across from the beach. Breakfast was very good everyday. If we were not robbed here it would have been awesome experience but we left wallet in the room and all money disappeared.

Everything is close, you can walking to the shopping, restaurant's beachfront, is a good hotel,the staffing very friendly.

It was very comfortable, the staff was helpful and very cordial. What I liked the most was that it is very close to a ******, less than a block walking. The beach was also very close you just need to cross a narrow street and you are at the beach.

Property is old and needs extensive updating. Elevators are small, antique and slow. Back up stairs are too small for rapid human movement. Old design

Hotel Regatta was convenient located right across the street from the beach. They had two rather small pools on different floors that had amazing views of the water on both sides of the peninsula. Right around the corner were excellent restaurants and it was always easy to catch a cab. Walking into town was good at only a 30 minute walk. The rooms were very clean, the hotel restaurant was decent and the staff made everything easy and convenient.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff. It would be great if the hotel assign someone to clean more frequently the glass doors and counters. You clearly can see the fingerprints all over. Too many vendors around the area.

The rooms are lacking in some areas. The bathroom didn’t have an AC vent so the door had to be left open at all times. It was impossible to block the light from the sun. Staff and kitchen great
