Clar de Lune suited us well for our one night stay after cycling the Burgundy canal and prior to heading on to Beaune and the vineyards. We particularly enjoyed a dip in the pool after a hot day cycling! The pool was well maintained and had plenty of lounge chairs on the deck as well as a shaded seating area where we enjoyed a cold beer after our swim. Our first floor room was very clean, simply furnished with ample storage space, wood floor, a little table, and a window that opened to overlook the pool. The B&B is in a quiet residential neighbourhood on the outskirts of Dijon which suited us. We found the bed comfortable but somewhat lower than standard height. The bathroom was fine, plenty of hot water. A continental breakfast was served in the breakfast room in the morning, and included coffee/tea, juice, yogurt, baked goods including a homemade cake baked fresh that morning. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly, and provided us with useful information on evening dining options in the neighbourhood. We had secure bike storage in the yard. Common areas for guests included the pool area and a lounge/eating area. Though we didn’t require it, on-site parking was available.
