Take your girlfriend to chill out at Chiang Khan, a lovely accommodation with a view of the Mekong River, next to the walking street.
During the rainy season, the a**osphere is very good.

A small but really cozy and nice boutique hotel. Small rooms but so cozy and have all you need. I stay in one of the rooms with a river view. Only challenge communication as I not speak Thai but was more fun then a problem. Parking lot is maybe 200m away which really good for Chiang khan which is a very compact village. I will come back and do very much recommend it

Great location in the middle of Chiang Khan on Walking Street. Very friendly service. There is also a cafe on the ground floor of the hotel. Breakfast is also served there. Wooden house. Rooms are tiny but very clean; you can't take a lot of luggage with you, hardly any storage space in the room. But OK for 1-2 nights. Perfect starting point for trips into the area and for the night market in the evening. Early in the morning you can see the monks walking by, donations and offerings are set up along the street.

It's on the outskirts of Chiang Khan, but it's located next to the river and the view is really nice. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. You can take a tuk-tuk to Walking Street.

Recommended for those looking for a place next to the Mekong River. Walk in and reserve for a better price than through the app. But if you're coming, don't come too late and don't have time to travel. I'd like to say that I've been here many times and am always impressed because the staff are friendly. Wherever we go, we always say there's a car to take us with us_bicycles haha.
