We booked 2 nights in a double room on the ground floor. Price 600 baht per night. Night market is just a stone's throw away, actually at the door! Chain restaurants such as McDonald's, Starbucks are all within walking distance from the hotel. The restaurants around the hotel are very international, including halal food. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Cable TV had many English channels to choose from. 2 bottles of drinking water were provided free of charge. There was also a small bar. Toilet was damp design so slippers were provided. Hot water in the shower was easy to control. In our room, the dresser mirror is directly facing the bed. For those superstitious people, the bed has wheels so you can push them in different directions. Looks small but superstitious people get pre-warned! Change towels and face towels daily. Rooms are also cleaned daily. The downside of this hotel is that at the moment, the kitchen/dining room is under renovation. There will be some noise during the waking hours, starting from about 8:30am. But this is not a problem as the daytime usually goes out for a tour in this place in Chiang Mai. Because the hotel kitchen is closed, it is not a comment. It is very convenient to buy breakfast from the local shops around the night city. Because the restaurant is closed, there is no place except the lobby area opposite the reception desk, you can relax and stroll around. It is 15 minutes walk to the airport. Taxi to the airport costs 150 baht. Overall, I would recommend this hotel because of its excellent location and reasonable price. Night market is nightlife in this area so not easy to get bored.

It's a wonderful hidden gem, just off beaten path. Large clean room, staff are very pleasant and helpful! Wonderful internet and tv. I would like to see all the public areas shine a bit brighter! Pool deck and patio deck both filthy with spilled drinks, and tables never got a good clean after breakfast. Day after day same spills... Clean the bugs from reception chaindlers Overal, great stay. Yes I will be back!

Members of the staff were all courteous and friendly. Breakfast was okay, no brewed coffee though, there's a selection of instant coffee flavors instead. Menu for breakfast changes daily so that's good for variety's sake. The lady, who I assume is the manager, allowed me to check out at 2pm, so nice of her. A bit of an issue with the bathroom though. The flush mechanism of the toilet constantly made sound every 10 minutes or so. Woke me up in the middle of the night a few times. They were unable to get it fixed my entire 4-night stay. The hotel is literally next door to Anusarn night market. Though the hotel is nice and clean, pics on the website are way better looking. ;)

First of all, location was good. Center of Chaingmai old town (Wat ket Temple area). Easy to walk to Main Market just cross the bridge. But not recommend to go there in the night time. Lots of homeless and drunker. Look unsafe for me. Next to hotel is 2 big famous Pub and restaurant so if you are not party person, not recommend to stay. The music was turn off around 2am. after that you will see lots of drunker yelling, crying, singing etc.. The only thing that is good for me was the service from security. If you take a look in hotel picture, the parking lot is limited. Just only 5-6 cars can park, However, security guy can manage all cars parked in order. The room is too small. around 20sqm for superior type. The toilet and shower are separate. Small balcony. They allow guest to smoke at balcony but when ask for ashtrays, they don't have it. So u will see many used cigarettes at the back of balcony. Did not know about breakfast but better walk to find something else at Market nearby. Overall, not recommend to stay at all. Understand that it is Budget hotel but compare with another budget hotel in Chiang Mai, this hotel is below standard.

Upon appearance this hotel looks rather elegant and really quite charming and in a great location, close to local markets and bars and a good base for tours. The lobby is gorgeous and the lady checking us in was very informative and polite. The room we were given on the 18th floor. (1826) was huge and although dated was still very nice and with a great view of the city. The pool area is lovely too, but as you can imagine the bar prices were expensive. The good ended there. The lifts take far too long to come down. There is an express lift but is no faster. The wifi is very hit and miss. The beds were awful and were sleeping on concrete blocks. Had the worst night’s sleep for the 1st of 2 nights. 2nd night we actually slept quite well but mainly due to being so tired from the night before. The shower is nothing but a trickle, and there is a ledge on the floor in the doorway when entering the bathroom which is very easy to trip over, maybe get some yellow tape on it. Breakfast was mainly catered for asians, not many western options at all, and what was there was grim, we had breakfast included but didn’t bother the next day. Over all it is good value for money and if they were to change the mattress I would stay again but the beds were just truly abysmal.

Overall, it is reasonable for the price. But the toiletries should be changed according to general hotel standards. And the power plug is an important thing that should be fixed. In times of need for use, there is no 3-prong plug and most of the 2-prong plugs cannot be used. As for cleaning the room, it's good. Done quickly.

Location is near to Night Bazaar, Kalare Bazaar, Anusarn market, Big C, Hard Rock, 7-11, Starbucks, Watsons etc. took grab (about 7 mins) to Sunday Tha Phae Walking Street & Night Market. Bedsheets & corridor has smoky smell. Rooms not so sound proof; can hear other rooms banging the doors, chatting outsides their rooms. Bathroom rattan tray & wooden mirror are full of blackish dirt. No full glass shower door, so water gets onto the floor. Basin is long, not used to it & bit difficult to use.

Outstanding
ZZ TehIt was a great hotel with awesome buffet spread for breakfast. Location was fantastic, across roads were Maya mall and infront hotel was one Ninman. White market bazaar was nearby and good for late night shopping. We stayed for 3 nights, overall a great stay, swimming pool was under renovation, didn't manage to access it and it was a great pity but they offered alternatives. Housekeeping service could be better improvised as they didn't manage to replenish the bath lotion after 1st night.

Only down side is the location even though it’s about 6-7 mins walk to Maya and Niemann One, the road is not v nice to walk on and not easy to cross the road, as there are no pedestrian crossing with traffic lights. GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for six nights. It’s in a good location within the old city. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We did not hear any street noise at night. Our package included breakfast which was a good option. Breakfast included a choice of hot dishes, cereals, yogurt, fruit, toast, croissants, juice, coffee and tea. The pool was refreshingly cool and there is a small cafe/bar next to the pool. The staff were somewhat friendly although there was one front desk fellow who seemed a little aloof. I think perhaps their spoken English isn’t very strong which might be the reason for this. The woman in the lobby who did the tour bookings was very friendly and helpful. There is a security guard outside. Overall, a good little hotel and gave it four stars. (I only give 5 stars if there is something really outstanding such as exceptional service above and beyond.) We would stay here again if the opportunity arose.

GGuest UserI came here just because of the reputation, and stayed for four nights in a row. After returning to China, I took a closer look. I should make a serious and responsible review, which can provide an objective review with reference value. First of all, it is indeed an online celebrity hotel, with exquisite scenery, smart garden planning, and many photo spots. If you don’t care about the budget, you can stay for one night. It’s meaningless to stay too much. Andana not far away is much more cost-effective . Secondly, the service is very average. The man who speaks Chinese is just for checking in. The male waiter at the front desk is very cold, and the hotel is very stingy. Except for the ice, everything else needs money. You can’t take away the worn slippers, otherwise you need to pay the bill. In fact, I don’t want to take it away. However, this kind of haggling, and the price is too high, I really feel conflicted in my heart. There is no customer service delivery service after nine o'clock in the evening, so bring your own instant noodles. Finally, regarding the price, the room is not big, and the area is large in the bathroom and balcony. In Chiang Mai, the price/performance ratio is not high. Looking at the house, I think it is small. I upgraded the suite on the spot for 6,000 yuan a day, and the price/performance ratio is really low. Compared with the four seasons, it is ok I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, because I went to live in the Four Seasons Pool Villa later, the price was only a few hundred, but the scale, refinement, service, and rooms were very different. Therefore, from the perspective of affordability, it is not recommended to choose to stay. If you want to take pictures, you can go to a restaurant for a meal. If you have financial strength, it is recommended to suite, because the other bedrooms are a bit cramped. The point is, the breakfast is simple and not worth getting up early to eat. In addition, Ctrip has an advantage, the on-site upgrade is more than 100 more expensive than Ctrip, because the order cannot be modified, there is no way but to upgrade at the hotel price. Cleaning is not professional enough, and I saw insects when I went back to my room at night. I stayed in the Golden Triangle Tent Hotel, in the deep mountains and old forests, and there were no rooms. It can only be said that this is a local Thai brand, and there is a gap between it and the international five-star hotel. The Chinese service will only say hello, and only one of the three service requirements will be completed. The hotel's hardware investment is insufficient, and the rain shower room is not small, but the water is like teardrops, and it is uncomfortable to wash. It is proposed to repair, and the water output is a bit larger, but it should not be so small for low floors. In short, you can live there, just for a day or two. Men, please pay attention. There is a balcony and you can smoke.

GGuest UserThe hotel in general is quite recommendable. The location is good as it is inside the wall and very close to one of the main streets where you can find bike rentals, coffee, washing machines etc. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and we got water bottles every day in the mini bar. There is a swimming pool when you get into the hotel and it's okay since it's enough to refresh you from high temperatures. The staff is friendly and recommend things to do in your stay in the city. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. They have breakfast available in addition to the price . We were left after check out.

GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised and had an exceptional experience at De Chai Oriental. I had almost booked an Airbnb and only moved last minute to a Hotel to avail of daily housekeeping and the morning breakfast. While I was weary at first, I was extremely pleased with the quality of the room, the furnishing, the housekeeping, the quaint little breakfast and most importantly the staff. Big shoutout to Khun Jam and Khun Bow at the brekafast counter every morning. They are pleasant, hospitable and extremely kind even if it’s past the brekafast hour. Also, a big thank you to Khun Nack and Khun Wahn who helped me through tours and bookings of the elephant sanctuary, guidance with taxis for Doi Suthep and assistance with late checkout due to flight delay. Apologies to anyone whose name I may have forgotten from the front desk or brekafast room! This Hotel is close to every single coffee shop, famous eatery and bars. There are ample 7/11s, rooftop bars, McDonald’s and massage parlours around. The famous Why Not Italian restaurant is bang opposite to the Hotel door. I would recommend this place at a heartbeat and hopefully return for a stay during my next visit to Chiang Mai. Best
