so i've surely stayed at more than 100 hostels but this is one for the books! gotta be top 3! it's a beautiful place with beautiful people! was so easy to connect with everyone and it felt more like staying over at a friend's shared flat than booking a hostel. gotta go there for the karaoke, the tea and the magic! i'll definitely make excuses to come back here whenever possible! thank you for these amazing few days!

The best place I've ever been in China, everybody here is so awesome, the boss and his beautiful mom are so friendly and always ready help you anything. I had a joyful time and feel comfortable as my home, so I will remember these happiness moments for a long time. I hope I will be back again. If you travel solo this is a great place to get to know new people, the staff is super friendly and it's right to a subway station which in Chongqing is just priceless due to the unimaginably steep streets, trust me, you don't want to be far from the subway. There is also a super cute cat and a perfect view of the city from their rooftop.

Great accommodation with nice facilities and an amazing view on the terrace. Lovely owner, and wonderful people all around.

What I love about this place is location. It’s just 2 minutes away from red line Xiqinggang metro (Choose the exit 1) Amenities are fairly reasonable. What is superb is the view from the rooftop. You barely need to go elsewhere to enjoy the view of Chongqing. Staffs are pretty friendly and can speak few English as well.

The location is extremely convenient. It's only a 1-minute walk from Exit 1 of Qixinggang Subway Station. The room is clean and tidy. The public space is large. There are three floors and four rooftops. There is a garden and a cabin on the roof. You can see the Yangtze River International. The night view is first-class. The music is nice and the listening effect is good. You can also sing karaoke. The a**osphere is first-class. The quality of the friends is very high.

I have stayed in so many youth hostels and this is the worst one I have ever seen. The owner is an older sister who is very nice and enthusiastic. The room is very dirty and poor. The lighting is very dim. First of all, when I go in to change my shoes, the slippers have been used countless times. It still smells unwashed. You need to make the sheets and quilts yourself. The pungent smell of sweat can't get into you. The flyers and quilts you brought are damp and heavy. They must have been used by others and simply drained. Then there is the air conditioner. They also charge one yuan an hour. The boss lady told me that this is the case in Chongqing. There are four or five people in a room. Whoever turns on the air conditioner pays. It is really amazing on such a cold day (I changed it to a cheaper one the next day with 24-hour air conditioner for free). The towels for washing at the youth hostel were either old towels or disposable towels that cost 12 yuan each (the old towels they showed me were hard and dirty) and they said they only provide towels for people in double rooms. Toiletries, the room should be rented for two months, the things are messy and terrible, the sink and bathroom are not very clean. I checked in at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night and I didn't dare to take off my clothes. I was afraid of living in such a hygienic way. Is there any unclean disease that has been transmitted?

The a**osphere of the youth hostel is very good. Even though I am a foreigner, the boss and the sisters in the youth hostel are very nice to me. I am very impressed! The hotpot we had together in the evening was delicious. The night view on the rooftop here is very beautiful, and the cats are so cute. I stayed with them for a few days to get a feel for Chinese culture. They made me tea and talked about interesting things about China and the world. When you come to the rooftop, you can listen to the boss’s interesting words and meet your good roommates. I recommend it to you. Next time I come to Chongqing, I want to go to the four rooftops. I want to come in summer and feel the rooftops in summer.
